I love a good bowl of pho, and Pho Song didn t disappoint! I m usually hesitant to try new Vietnamese spots since I have my go-to favorites. However, feeling sick and chilly, I asked my husband to pick up pho from here. The service was quick and polite, though parking out front is a bit tricky. I d rate Pho Song 3.5/5. I had the house special, while my husband opted for the beef brisket soup. The broth was flavorful, but not the best I ve had it was on the sweeter side. It came with the usual sides: bean sprouts, mint, and lime (though they gave us lemon instead). Sadly, there were no jalapeños. Portions were decent, though I ve received bigger servings of noodles and meat elsewhere. They also provided a mixed container of hoisin and sriracha; I prefer separate sauces, as the blend was too mild and sweet for my taste. Despite usually not finishing my pho, I ate it all, along with a salad roll! My husband did the same, but we both found the salad rolls and peanut sauce just okay. If you re in Maple Ridge and craving pho, I d recommend giving Pho Song a try. It s a solid option for warming up, especially with the colder weather ahead. We ll likely be back. By far the best Pho in town, authentic Vietnamese food, great honest, friendly service. I pop in whenever I can for pho or lemongrass chicken or a combo plate. Always the best!!

Song rocks! Her Pho is the best!

The vermicelli dishes are ok, however the beef soup was littered with cartilage and this weird spongy processed meat along with mostly fat chunks. Not impressed with the soup I dont recommend the Pho itself. The spring rolls were pretty delicious as well.

Best Phoa in Maple ridge.

Stopped in for lunch recently after a morning at Golden Ears Park. Were quite hungry from walking so ordered salad roll in addition to lemongrass chicken pho and Bún Bò Hu . We soon found out we ordered too much, as the soups were very good portions. The salad roll was just okay, being rather dry. The soups however, were excellent. They came out fast, were piping hot and had a generous amount of meat and noodles. he broth was delicious! Will definitely return next time were in Maple Ridge

I got the free range chicken pho, but its in beef broth....I dont understand, why isnt it in chicken broth ? Its such a weird combo which made it such a weird flavour. The rice and vermicelli dishes were alright hence the 3 stars.

Great spring rolls

My husband and I go here a couple times a month. We love that when we walk in the door, we are greeted right away and welcomed in. Service is some of the best we have received among many restaurants weve enjoyed. I highly recommend Pho Song.

I ordered the lemongrass pork vermicelli rice bowl tonight. I was pretty disappointed. The pork didnt have much flavor and the sauce was definitely bland. Portion size was good, but not enough vegetables. Service was good but the incense smell in the restaurant was completely overwhelming.

Was very much a surprised. This could honestly be one of the best Pho I have had between Coquitlam to Mission. Kind of a rush today and have not tried a few more things. But my daughter did end up asking for more noodles so that explains it for us. She even added some Pikmins to the bowl. We asked to not have any green and it came the way we asked. I have not to a ton of pho places but this is my favorite one.

When walking in, we were hit by a very strong smell of incense that seemed to be masking cigarette smoke smell. The staff seemed preoccupied (the restaurant was empty when we got there). Food arrived surprisingly quickly. I havent tried the soups, but the 2 rice dishes (BBQ Prawns and Pork on Rice and BBQ Prawns and Pork Patties on Rice) were disappointing. The meat was greasy and gristly and seemed to be reheated. My partners pork patty was basically spam that was pan fried. We were both pretty hungry, but couldnt bring ourselves to eat the food. We got takeout containers out of politeness. I am used to eating pho and Vietnamese food in general, and was surprised how bad this place was (considering all the positive reviews).

I went here with my family, the service was very fast and we had our meal out within 10 minutes of ordering. They had some incense that smelled a bit like old cigarette smoke or trying to cover up a smell. The staff were courteous and friendly and we were greeted and seated when we entered the building, but that was probably due to no one else being there. I had BBQ Prawns and Pork Patties on Rice and was extremely disappointed with the quality of my food, the pork patty is just a pan fried spam. The rice was dry. I tried my partners dish who had the BBQ Prawns and Pork on rice, and the meat was greasy and grizzly. Not to mention that the BBQ Prawns were cold. My daughter had the childs Pho, and said that it was okay and she would eat there again. But due to the quality that I had, I will be vetoing us going there again. My partner and I left hungry and our food we got in to go containers so as to be polite.

Been coming here for years. After the second time I came, the owner knew my order every time I walked in. Love the food it s incredible every time (best I ve ever had and I eat a LOT of pho and travel all over). Amazing ownership and kitchen staff. Never had a bad server here. Always full of loyal returning customers. (I can tell because they re always conversations with the owner :) )

The food is perfect. The service is always Nonesuch. I love the women here. They have amazing memory and always remember what I like to get even though so many people go through there on a daily basis. Extra beef rice noodles with a side of spring rolls or extra chicken bahn mi Love you guys!!

The food we had was absolutely awesome and the portions were great. The staff are super friendly and the service was extremely quick.

Prices on the website are inaccurate. Ordered Vermacelli Beef Bowls noddles tasted very off, beef was extremely over cooked, approx 6 shreds of carrots. All in all not a restaurant I would recommend. Very disappointed.

I really wanted to love this place, but we must have caught them on a bad night. Maybe dine-in is better than take-out? We couldnt finish one of the 5 dishes we ordered because the meat was so dry and rubbery. It was disappointing, especially when getting take-out is a bit of a treat. I do want to say that the beef shortrib was delicious, and I enjoyed the freshness of the accompanying vermicelli and vegetables.

Good salad rolls and pho. Excellent service. I asked for a milk/Thai iced tea, which was not on their menu. The waitress was very thoughtful and brought me out a makeshift milk tea anyway, stating this is what I make myself in the morning, if you like it Ill bring you a full glass! I really appreciated that!

The staff at this pho place are always happy to see you enter there restaurant. The staff is incredibly nice and sweet. The food is exception. It always comes out piping hot. And the menus has something for everyone to enjoy. In the end I will always recommend this restaurant its always amazing. One more thing everything is really well priced not to expensive. And the portion are a great size for the price. Would highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: For some of the pho they offer a smaller size on the menu that is perfect for kids if they are really hungry

Went there due to the reviews. Worst idea ever. Meats were cold in the inside in all three dishes. Felt sick afterwards. Portion very small for the price. No favors other than very salty. You can find other restaurants that will treat you better. Will never go back.

The food was disgusting and the service was horrible. The guy in the back didnt speak much English but he didnt seem like he was too interested in his job. He seemed like he was lacking in cleansiness. Would be surprised that he would have a completed food safe. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and would never come back.

long time fav of the fam and myself, when ever my parents are down we have to make a stop in and see song. the broth here is unreal and the service is so fast and efficient I dont even call in my pick up orders just show up and order in person the street parking can be limited out front but there is also parking around back and a rear entrance. although the rear entrance is not handicapped equipped. some stairs to be climbed I have eaten pho all over this city and this place is a gem ..

One of my very favourite places to eat in Maple Ridge. Love the vermicelli bowls, and the bun bo hue is a personal favourite. Rice plate with lemongrass chicken or beef with fried egg is awesome too. Recent personal favourite is no. 37 + an extra spring roll. Go ahead, treat yourself, you deserve it :)

Worst chicken pho Ive had.

Worst lemongrass chicken ever. Seriously, chicken was tough to chew and rubbery. Also, it came scattered like hacked to pieces by a clumsy chef. At least the server was nice and so was the soup. It really isnt the best on the menu.

Best chicken pho, good service

We just moved to Maple Ridge and are looking for a new go-to pho place and vietnamese redtausrant. Service was solid, staff were pretty friendly and efficient, food came out quick, price was right. We had the spring roll, chicken salad roll, and pho combo with the rare beef. Flavour wasnt really for us. Salad roll much smaller than we are used to. Our friend who had the veggie pho (with regular beef broth) didnt feel well after but we felt okay. Unsure if we will return for those reasons but seems to be popular as it was quite full.

Super good service and really recommend the food. Healthy, makes your feel light and filling.

This is for my only dining experience at this establishment and I found it to be overrated. I got the #17 lemongrass chicken, which is a noodle soup and denoted on the menu as a recommended house specialty. What I received looked nothing like the menu picture, which showed a full chicken breast. Instead I received very overcooked pieces of thigh meat in a flavorless broth that was lukewarm. I had maybe two bites were I could taste a hint of lemongrass. The bean sprouts and basil were fresh and the serving size was good. Price was okay - perhaps a bit high considering the so-so quality. Cute dining room. Limited street side parking.

This was our first time ordering, and overall the food was very good with decent portions. I picked up my order and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I added a chicken salad roll to my order and recommend eating the same day for maximum freshness. We will definitely be back.

Their broth alone is worth the visit, it so good! Perfect balance of flavour. I had the small pho with rare beef and beef balls and shared a pork bahn mi with my son. The pho portions were generous, and the add-ins to the pho were very fresh. Their buns were so soft and crunchy with tasty fillings. Parking is a bit of a pain, but it is definitely worth a try here. The owner clearly takes pride in their craft, and the service was friendly and quick. Highly recommended! Ill be getting a large soup next time!

Tiny little family run Vietnamese restaurant in Maple Ridge. We ordered and ate in the restraunt and the pho was awesome. It came to us very quick and was more than enough for each of us. Judging by the amount of takeout this a very popular place for good quality soup. Our Oho came very fast and was hot and very good. If you are in the MR area this should be your go to spot for quality Vietnamese fare.

My favorite resto in downtown Maple Ridge

Read a review on a FB page about the Wonton soup so on my lunch break I popped over and grabbed a Wonton Soup (no noodle) and a Shrimp/Pork Salad Roll. Wow the broth flavor is out of this world. The size of the soup was beyond worth the cost! I ordered for takeout so the Wontons and veggie came separate. I couldnt fit all the veggie in at first there was so much broth but got it in there after eating some. The soup was Soo filling I couldnt finish the broth or attempt the salad roll. Took both home at the end of the day and reheated broth while snacking on the salad roll. Both full of flavor! Texture on the peanut sauce was jelly like when I took it home (fridge all day) but flavor was still delicious. Will return for more!

So nasty service, a server threw our food we ordered away on our table. I told her you re so nasty. she said nasty what??? it s totally waste even to give one star rate for review. terrible horrible experience here. Food

The dish I ordered had a bad taste and the cook tried to blame it on me for putting the normal sauce on it. When the server brought a replacement order she rudely dropped it on the table and rushed away. They made me pay full price for the bad dish and half price for the second dish even though they didnt tell me they were charging for the replacement until I was at the checkout counter. Bad food and bad service means I will never be returning here and advise you not to either.

I eat pho Soup #3 .. I eat here at least once a week . The food is amazing, hot and very fresh ! The service is above and beyond they treat you like family! I highly recommend this place ! It s is the best pho in maple ridge and Langley !

The two bad reviews written here today are completely inaccurate. This place has authentic pho soup which is better than any place. If you put too much sauce in your soup the restaurant isn t to blame for this and why shouldn t they charge you for a new one. Also the service here has always been fantastic. Friendly and welcoming.

Weve been going to Songs for years now, but we like to try new pho places in the lower mainland as well. Without a doubt, Song has the best broth around. Her pho is, in my humble opinion, mana of the gods. All of her food is just so good. Outside of the menu, Song and her staff are warm and welcoming. If youre in Maple Ridge for lunch, stop by, you wont regret it.

My goto takeout Vietnamese place. The rice and vermicelli dishes are great here and spring rolls are phenomenal. The pho soup is great too.

Song Pho is a great place to eat with friendly staff and good food. It s to bad that a disgruntled, fired employee has tried to smear Song . We have eaten many meals there and it s always been excellent as well as the staff.

If you are looking to try Vietnamese cuisine, pho song is a place you should try. I have tried Pho soup in this restaurant during my business trip. The beef bone broth taste absolutely delicious. I can say it is one of the best pho soup which I have ever tried in Canada. I recommend to try and absolutely, I will be back with my family.

Our family have been coming here for years. Staff are so friendly and helpful and song the owner makes us feel like family. The soup is always a go to meal and a great choice if we are in rush as it comes out fast. We have also gone through rest of the menu and combo dishes are very tasty! I love this place! I ve been a regular customer at Pho Song for years. I ve gotten to know her and she has even hired me to do some work on restaurant What I can tell you is that the employees here are some of kindest loving people I ve ever met. The food here is first class and always fresh, Song makes sure of it. Even before Covid she made sure to keep things clean and sanitized, because she genuinely loves her employees and customer. This place is great and highly recommend her restaurant, 100%.

It saddens me to see that post from Leela putting a bad name on pho song. Song has prided her self for over a decade in the customer service she delivers to each and every person. She knows them by name, there kids, there lives and there orders off by heart. She builds relationships and delivers the absolute stunning service with the freshest hottest best tasting soup for miles. I find this hard to believe as I m a regular customer of hers 1-2 times a week I dine in for the last 5+ years and I ve never seen this employee who claims they worked there months. It was days from what I heard as I never saw her. Songs kitchen is wide open to the dining room there is no way she feeds off the floor we would all see it she would be shut down and have no customers. She absolutely follows food guidelines.

Incredible Beef Stew Pho.

Food is always 10/10! Service is also always 10/10. We actually just had an issue with a third party delivery service(skip) where the driver mishandled our food and a bunch was spilt out in the bag. After we called the restaurant they apologized even tho it wasnt their fault. They also rushed over 2 new items for us to replace the ones the driver spilt. We love pho song!

It s been a while since I ve had a chance to come see Song and have her wonderful food, but when I was a broke high school student, this was the spot. Our friends and I would come here sometimes five days a week. Sometimes a pair of us, sometimes up to eight of us. Song always makes you feel like family and is a great example of an amazing, hard-working business woman! We will have to come see you soon.

Went here for the first time tonight two bowls of soup were absolutely delicious! We also ordered some salad rolls which were the best I ve ever had. They told us 10 minutes and their timing was bang on! Awesome job to this team.
