Very fresh, healthy and tasty food.

The Vietnamese food is really good and refreshing, especially during the summer. The salad roll and Vietnamese Coffee was a wonderful way to end my day. Staff are quite friendly and attentive even during busy times.

So many delicious vegan options!!! The ginger chicken salad rolls are a go to for me :)

Enjoyed Salmon Bagel, Tofu Banh Mi, Beet Root Latte and Asian Buddha Bowl.

Very delicious food. I had the wonton soup and pork ban-mi with a peach slush. I really enjoyed everything. I also stole a few bites from my friends shrimp salad rolls and spring rolls which were also delicious.

I heard great reviews about wonton soup and Bahn MI . Disappointing sandwich dry tasteless chicken tough and chewy . Wontons tasted like store bought frozen . And the price was alittle high .

Had shrimp wonton soup, pork spring rolls (combo#1) and a decaf latte. VERY good food; fresh and flavourful! Also, perhaps surprisingly for a little cafe, it was also hands down the best latte Ive had in my many trips to Maple Ridge.

Great local Banh mi sandwiches

I remember coming in last year. Bought a bubble for my pregnant wife - I paid with cash, they short changed me and on top of that they put over $2 in the tip jar themself. All in all I paid around $11 for a $5 bubble tee. I couldn t believe it. I walked out in shock. Needless to say - never went back.

I was killing time in Maple Ridge as my son had a lacrosse practice out here. I just happened upon this place so decided to try and ordered the Lemongrass Beef Bahn Mi sandwich... it was very GOOD. Glad I stumbled upon this place and will be back to try some of other menu options.

This is truly a hidden gem. Very friendly, excellent service. I had the wonton soup and spring rolls. Absolutely the best Ive had. The food is fresh and flavourful. Ill definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: The owner took extra time to have a conversation with my son. She made the experience warm and inviting.

Normally I enjoy this place and the vegan options. But this time I asked for the vegan cookie on display which looked like an oatmeal cookie with cream. They gave me dark chocolate and raspberry, two flavours I dont like. I asked for the cookie in the display and she told me it was the same cookie. I was not allowed to return or refund and am stuck with a product I dont like. I wont be coming back. (Tried the cookie as I was given no other option. I do not like it.)

Came here for lunch because of the great location, good prices, and good reviews. Got the Thai Green Curry and was deeply disappointed. No flavour, layer of oil floating on top, limited veggies (only bell peppers and bamboo shoots), and the chicken was DRY. I should have read the reviews first, I may have to come back and try the banh mi!

Just wanted to get the perfect Vietnamese coffee, not much to ask lol. They delivered! We tried the Bahn Mi and Wonton combo. This is the best all around place Ive ever been. Go here!

The lemon grass chicken and vegetables were great. My only complaint is that the rice in the bottom of the bowl was cold & and dry. Everything was jammed pack together in the container.

I keep seeing Alina Cafe and Eatery on my skip the dishes, and I wanted to give it a try. It is so good. I got a large iced caramel macchiato and some shrimp salad roles. I will definitely be reordering. Their labeling gives it a sweet personal touch. So impressed.

The Poke bowl with salmon was amazing. So full of a great variety of tasty things, beautifully presented. The shrimp wanton soup was homemade and delicious as was the beef Banh mi. Friendly service, good price. Kid-friendliness: Kids books are available.

The vibe is quaint cafe/eatery, the decor is minimal, modern, and quaint. But they are able to pack SO much flavour and variety to all their dishes. We tried both ends of the spectrum, a vermicelli bowl and one of the toast dishes and both were jam packed with everything you could want at a fantastic price point, especially these days. Two full avocados on avocado toast instead of mashed up gunk? Incredible. The clientele base as we sat in were a wide array, some coming for a quick smoothie after a good workout at Club16, some you could tell were regulars already, others humming and ha ing and leaving extremely satisfied just like us. The ladies working were extremely nice, not to mention, as a cafe, the coffee flavourful and with a deep richness. Given that we live 2 minutes away, I think we ve just found our new weekend spot. Come try it out before EVERYBODY catches on!

First time eating at Alinas today after passing it numerous times. I ended up getting the special of the day which was shrimp wonton soup and a banh mi of your choice, I was recommended the lemongrass beef for my banh mi. I started off with the wonton soup first which came really quick and was absolutely delicious; piping hot broth, vibrant veggies & tender shrimp wontons. My banh mi came shortly after receiving my soup and it was just as good, if not better. The beef was so unbelievably yummy with plenty of lemongrass flavour, the baguette was soft and the daikon & carrots were nice and fresh. I wish I had gotten a drink as that would have tied the whole meal together but I just wasnt feeling it at the time, I will most certainly be coming back!

This is a very cute cafe with healthy and fresh tasting meals and snacks. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is so good (its not listed on the menu but they sell it!). If you are in Maple Ridge and looking for a light bite, I recommend this place! Definitely try the jumbo shrimp salad roll with avocado.

I always order the OG Budda bowl with tofu and my husband has the lemongrass beef bahn mi. We enjoy them so much we just cant change our order. Maybe some day but for now we will keep ordering the same. The place is clean and the staff very friendly every time

The Banh mi was quite tasty. The chocolate mocha coffee was delicious. Seats are comfortable with good back support. The atmosphere was noisy.

I decided to try Alina Cafe and Eatery for the first time today. I didnt even order food because I walked in and saw the staff member (or owner..not sure) CUTTING THEIR NAILS BEHIND THE COUNTER AT THE CASH REGISTER! THERE WERE CUT NAIL PIECES EVERYWHERE! Disgusting. Obviously I walked out. I will NEVER go again. If I didnt know...I would want to know.

The cafe is super cozy and welcoming. The food is amazing and the Vietnamese coffee is to die for! We will be visiting Alina Cafe & Eatery every time we come through Maple Ridge.

I m so happy I found this hidden gem by my old work. I can t understand how they make the food so DELICIOUS! I always get the OG Buddha Bowl with lemongrass chicken. Now I ve been getting the Bahn Mi with lemongrass beef. I ve also tried the banana loaf, wonton soup, and salad rolls. All DELICIOUS. This is my top cafe s of all time. The food is so healthy too, I get ample amount of veggies and protein in everything I order and I always feel good after. A must try in Maple Ridge!

Fresh and healthy menu, service was excellent. I had the wonton soup - loaded with perfectly cooked veggies and tender shrimp wontons. My kid had the poke bowl which was also very good. Very clean and the decor is adorable. I would say this is my new favourite place in Maple Ridge. I can t wait to go back.

Well, the first time I ordered UberEats came 2 hours later and my food was cold. So I had to pickup myself the 2nd time to give it another try. I like their subs. Just wish the meat/filling was warmer. Cute packaging too!

The food looked delicious but that was not the case for me my chicken was hard and dry not even edible. I also tried the beef banh mi flavour was there but lacking on the filling. I don t know if it was just a bad day but the cashier was very rude and uninviting. She walked my order over to me and just plopped on the table, didn t say a work and just walked away. Disappointed I really wanted to love this. ( I ordered to go )

I originally ordered one jumbo avocado salad roll and a large cup of lavender latte. I have tried couple times, my cards were still declined, then I said I only get the latte. After I sat down and wait, they brought me the salad roll said just Give me, dont worry about it Im sooo surprised. The staffs are very nice food, coffee and service are great. Really will come again and more.

The best Bahn Mi s! The staff was so helpful when I ordered on Uber Eats and had an item missing. I expected perhaps maybe a credit or no solution as the restaurant had technically closed by the time the Uber Order arrived. Not only did they answer the phone they were kind and apologetic and actually drove the missing item to my home! Such a positive experience and great food, we will definitely be eating here often! Wow! This place is spectacular! We ordered the Vietnamese Bánh Mì with lemongrass chicken, it was the best Bánh Mì we have ever tasted! Such good flavour and the baguette was super fresh. We also ordered 2 jumbo avocado salad rolls, they were loaded with avocado and were amazing as well! Huge portions for the price. Will definitely be back.

Have lived in Maple Ridge most of my life, but recently started working right next door and I now walk by this place regularly on my lunch break and have checked their yummy-looking menu out many times. Today I finally decided to give it a try, and it was DELICIOUS. I got one of the bowls to go with quinoa base and ginger beef protein, and the lovely person behind the counter suggested which filling flavour combo to match that with. I was extremely impressed not only was it super tasty (even more than I was expecting - great flavours!) but healthy. I felt full and good after eating. I ll definitely be back to have that again and try more items :) Love supporting great local businesses too! Highly recommend. Cheers! I ve been here multiple times with no problems. I had ordered a vermicelli bowl with no peanuts because I had a peanut allergy which I told them. I come home and there was peanuts. Thankfully I like to double check my food because I have severe peanut allergy. It s just frustrating trying to talk to them to get my food remade.

Food is prepared fresh I had the wonton soup and the wife had salad wrap. Both were amazing, will be back for more.

The lady serving was not fully attentive, she had her mask off and it was sitting below her chin, while she was talking on the phone using a headphone to someone else. She said there was no food so I ordered 2 of the 3 crossoints on display. I asked for a small tea after seeing the cups sizes on display on the counter. She said they dont have small sizes only large. I cancelled that. She put the crossoint to warm up in the oven on a stained burnt tray. I asked her to put her mask on before she handled my order out of the oven. Whilst she was waiting for the crossoints to warm up she was scrolling on her phone, scratching her head and she did not sanatize her hands at all. Very disappointed with the lack of appropriate clean service and the lack of choice available. I would be careful ordering from this place during COVID. That member of staff was not following the guidelines. She was also not wearing gloves nor did she wash her hands before touching the food or equipment.

I ordered the poke bowl off UberEats and the bowl was delicious, it was a perfect serving, I chose the quinoa base and it was delicious. I would definitely order from this place again.

The best beef pho in the town.

Went here for the first time last week. The family that owns the cafe and their employee all were very friendly, easy to talk to, and I got a good recommendation for the delicious shrimp rolls from the girl working the cashier! Will definitely be telling my friends about this little spot. A huge bonus is the prices are VERY affordable!! Be sure to stop by if you re ever in Maple Ridge you won t regret it.

A little family-owned cafe with delicious and reasonably priced food and drinks. Including boba! If you are looking for vegan or vegetarian, this is the place to go. Vietnamese Bhan mi and pho. Tofu options etc. Made right there, so dont expect pre packaged soggy days-old stuff. The family are so sweet and kind; I go out of my way to take lunches here! My fav is the salmon and cream cheese bagel !

Went to this cafe looking for a coffee & a bite. Coffee was adequate. They had pastries in the display case but nothing to purchase. I will continue searching for a good independent cafe in Maple Ridge.

Awful experience. The woman greeting us didnt say hi when I could not hear what she said, she pulled down her mask to repeat herself. Food was made by her without gloves and long fake nails which was incredibly unsanitary. Chicken was pulled out of the microwave and incredibly dry. During a global pandemic, I find it very disrespectful to prepare food without taking proper precautions. The woman returned to make our order after touching her face as she pulled down her mask. Did not wash her hands. Would give it two stars if she had at least been warm towards us. Will be reporting.

Tried this place for the first time after frequenting the other Italian cafes around town. Was highly disappointed. The cafe was super dirty, not vacuumed, lots of dust and carpet had some particles of food on it. 2 staff members were working and there was not a single person there so not sure why it was in such a state. The coffee was actually not good. Tasted super watered down and the actual latte was watery. There are no decent pastry options. I think there were maybe 2 things available which did not look appetizing and very basic. Cant say anything about the food but did not enjoy the coffee in the slightest.

Was going to give 3 stars however after my 3rd visit now to this place and reading the latest review in regards to poor customer service I have reduced it to 2; The food is OK, nothing special. The prices however earn the place a few stars I have encountered the same lady each time I have attended and have received poor customer service each time. This will be the last time I go, also partly due to them blatantly lying in response to the last persons review- obviously the same person is providing this poor service still and is in fact still working there (or they have a questionable hiring process). I d suggest the lady working today around 5PM assess her customer service skills if you would like to keep this business running!

Lovely family running this Bistro! Food is great and lattes are fantastic. Vegetarian friendly and they have good substitutes like oat milk and soy. I recommend the Tofu banh mi (sub sandwich) and the avocado toast for breakfast. Great prices as well!

I wish I could rate this cafe higher, but sadly my first visit today wasnt positive. The two stars are because my drink was enjoyable, but I wasnt impressed with anything else. I arrived at 10:00 am to meet a friend and the woman behind the counter did not greet me whatsoever (I was the only customer at the time). She stared at me blankly and told me no food until 11. This was fine and I ordered a drink. She lacked any friendliness or customer service skills. I went to sit at a table and all three tables were covered in food crumbs, so it was obvious that they were unclean. Its unfortunate that I must rate this experience so low because I love supporting small, local businesses.

Walked in and asked for some food and the lady said they didnt have any. There was clearly muffins and crossoints on the bakeing sheet behind her, nothing in the cabnet thoe, the furniture looked beaten down, no one was there. Dont go!!!

This cafe is truly great. If you want to support local, get greeted and treated very well + enjoy healthy avo toast & lattes - this is the place. The egg was perfectly poached with avocados, dijon + chia seeds. The manager here is very kind and this is good place to also study/ work from. Highly recommend!

Usually I have a wonderful experience here and have come back multiple times. However after today I don t know if I ll ever come back. The woman behind the counter was extremely rude and we came into multiple issues with her. We wanted to pay with half cash and half card and she simply would not let us and was angered by the fact that we would even ask. We also asked if we could buy a bottle of monin syrup, which we have purchased from here before. When we asked if we could purchase it she said that no we were not allowed, even though it was in the for sale section of the cafe. She called the owner at my boyfriends request to ask and he said yes absolutely. She has also not let us order from her multiple times even though they were still open. This woman is the only worker we have had issues with and hopefully if we do decide to come back we do not get met with the same rudeness and negativity.

Just ordered the Vietnamese subs, got 2 cause I m a big guy. And Skip just showed up. These things are MASSIVE, packed with flavour. Meat is done perfectly. If I could give you a better rating I would, much love! I will be back to check out more goodness.

I ve ordered from here many times and they never disappoint!! I love their food menu. I ve tried the salmon poke, lemongrass beef banh mi, salad roll, beef pho and pineapple bubble tea. I have nothing but positive things to say about all of it. Their salad roll is huge, and there s a lot of filling of the banh mi. They re so generous with their portions. Great value and amazing flavour. Super delicious and highly recommended.

Ok, im still in the middle of eating my Thai Green Curry dish but its SO AMAZING I cant wait to leave this review the flavor is on point. Sweet and spicy. Definitely a new favorite. I eat out more than I should and this is definitely going to become a new usual for me. Prices are more than fair and serving size is perfect. Looking forward to trying more from this spot!

Every time Ive gone here Ive been treated with amazing customer service. Not only is the service amazing but the food is different than the normal Maple Ridge fare around, and top notch. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting specialty coffee and great small meals.

One word... WOW!!! If I could give this place a thousand stars I would. The owner is just wonderful and his family is so kind and welcoming, really warm hearted people. The food was PERFECT, it brought me right back to Vietnam, we had the Vietnamese sandwich with coconut chicken, the lemongrass beef salad roll and the buddha bowl, they were all amazing. Everything was super fresh and made right there in store, definitely worth the walk if you have to park further away. This is my new favourite Maple Ridge eatery!!

My Wife and I stopped by here today for lunch, we had a pumpkin spice latte, cappuccino, beef pho and a Coconut chicken buddha bowl. Everything was clean, welcoming, perfect and delicious. Their customer service is absolutely spot on and they are very friendly. This is now our favourite café!

Stumbled on this place their third day in business, and turns out its great! Really good coffee, the avocado toast is delicious, and its a really nice little space with lots of outlets if you want to get some work done.

Tried it for the first time because it is literally seconds away from where I work, and I absolutely love the place, their poke bowls are my favorite and a really healthy choice of a place to eat right after a workout.

Service is out of this world, Poke bowl with tuna and rice was just incredible. And they carry OATMILK for coffee. Just an overall incredible experience and I hope they stick around for a long time! Great for vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians like myself. Or anyone who enjoys great Vietnamese food! Super fresh and fast. Had their Hazelnut Latte with OATMILK (of course) coffee beans were great not to acidic. Highly Recommended if youre in the area!

I work across the street and have been dying for some fresh good food that we can quickly grab on our breaks and this is the BEST! The food is amazing and the service is even better! So friendly and welcoming just like one of the family keep it up guys you rock!!!

Just went for the first time today. The menu has a lot of interesting and original options, in addition to the classic kinds of pastries/foods youd expect to see in a cafe. I really liked that. The owner was so friendly, you can tell he really cares about this place. Ill definitely be coming back.

What a great surprise, a new bistro that serves excellent espresso drinks. Next week we will try the food which from what was being served around us look delicious as well as a good value. Tried their food, rolls, soup and more. All of it excellent

Great new café/bistro in Maple Ridge. Ive been here twice since theyve opened and both times have been splendid experiences! Food tastes (and looks) great, and the drinks are the same. Very friendly staff and great prices for the quality they deliver. Highly recommended!
