Update Dec 16 2024 830am. Went for brekkie this morning with wife and daughter. It was ok today. The wife and daughter had Bennys which they said were good. I had a skillet and it was meh. Service was meh. Shoulda waited till 9 for Ronnies. Probably the best place in town for traditional type breakfast. Bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, Bennys etc. Even do chicken n waffles. Good service, good food, good pricing. Cant beat it.

I usually avoid eating meat when dining out because I am very sensitive to smells. Many restaurants seem to use lower-quality meat, which often has an unpleasant odor. However, I was pleasantly surprised when my friend ordered wontons here, and I decided to try one. They were absolutely delicious! I was told they are handmade, which explains the exceptional taste. I liked them so much that I ordered takeout to enjoy at home. I was also impressed that the packaging they use is made from safe materials without harmful chemicals. Although it s a bit far from where I live, I would love to come back often. This place serves incredibly delicious and healthy food. Highly recommend!

This is a must-visit restaurant when you go to Maple Ridge. The food is very delicious and the staff are very friendly. This is a local restaurant loved by both Koreans and local Canadians. Its good value for money, the food is delicious, and the price is very reasonable. Don t go to Denny s or ihop, but go here. Mainly breakfast and brunch food, but also good for lunch. This is one of those restaurants that I definitely have to go back to. I recommend it!!!!

Service was poor meal was not good. Buy food arrived at the table by the time my son and brother-in-law had finished their meal. And my sister ate as slow as she could so I would be eating with her. I almost got up from the table and cancelled my order. What does it take to put sliced tomatoes that weren t ripe two pieces of bacon two eggs and hollandaise sauce over the top. Second time I ve eaten there and I will not go back again. I feel they were more interested in the amount of takeout food that I saw on the counter going out The door.

Kinda disappointed with my first experience here. I heard it was a good place so I thought why not I ll try it. Not only are the portions not up to par but flavour was mediocre, meat was dry, order lacked gravy that they claimed came with it, eggs were extremely overcooked and toast was rock hard. Don t think I ll be going here again.

My favourite restaurant in Maple Ridge. The French Toast is so good. The poached eggs are always done perfectly. Ive ordered from here many many times over the last few years and not once have I had something to complain about. The service is amazing. Ok, sorry in advance for this one, but eh.. if i wait 1 hour for flipped eggs and most of it is cold, you get disappointed. Not to mention that it seems that maple ridge never heard of spices what so ever. Food is tasteless everywhere you go here. Suggestion if you go there.. go before you are hungry. By the time they get it ready, you should probably order your dinner .. pathetic All the 5 stars reviews had to be friends or flatout stupid people that have never been anywhere else ..

Vast difference in the experience at Jimmys Lunch box in PoCo and in Maple ridge. The quality of ingredients is good and fresh, but the elevated flavours that the PoCo branch provides are not at all seen in the Maple ridge branch. The menu is the same but everything (even the bread & the French toast) is very different. I felt I could have picked another place for my brunch.

Really enjoyed our visit to Jimmys. Got there around 9:45am and no wait for a table. I got the bulgogi skillet and my partner got the corned beef skillet. We both really enjoyed the food. The skillet comes with either shredded hash browns or potato chunks. The waitress recommended the shredded as its crispy and it was really good with the dish. They came around and topped up our coffees throughout the meal. When your ready for the bill just head up to the front counter. Theres parking on the side street. Would definitely visit again!

The good : I have never staff so dedicated to checking on customers. Every time I blinked someone was walking by topping up coffees or teas or just making sure the customer didnt need something. The bad : Or food was over cooked. High prices with small portions. Very limited parking, 6 spaces total.

Ive been here on multiple occasions and each time I have had the chicken and waffles. If you want to transcend this plane and feel pure joy, relief and absolute peace in one bite at 11 am on a Sunday morning while at brunch here, get the chicken and waffles. When I tell you I daydream about this dish on a weekly basis, i mean I start to salivate every time I think about it. Whatever the employees are doing, its really really really flipping good.

Small cafe with great food. Its such a busy little place, so there is usually a lineup, but its worth the wait. Service staff is attentive and prices are reasonable. Its only open for breakfast and lunch.

First of all, I highly recommend visiting this place. All of the servers were very friendly to the guests, and the food was very delicious, and it felt like it was made at home, with great care and cleanliness.

This place is a gem. Great service, plenty of options on the menu and fantastic food. The bulgogi skillet is far and away my favourite breakfast option. There is something so satisfying about the hash browns, the poached eggs, and the bulgogi spiced meat. Always a safe bet for breakfast or lunch!

Cute little mom and pop shop serving breakfast and dinner. Good portion sizes but be prepared for a wait as there is limited seating. Our table ordered Wonton Soup, more wontons than broth! Hawaiian burger, BLT, fish and chips and a breakfast omelete. We all came out well fed. 1 less star on service just for the wait.

JLB never disappoints, as food is always great along with service. The staff are very friendly! You need to be patient to get a seat, but its worth the wait.

Sorry bout photo, it was all gone when I remembered. Shows how good it was. Poached eggs done to perfection, slivered corn beef exact right amount. Should have got shredded potatoes may have been more crispy but thunks were ok. Looks like Benedict salmon was good too. Very accommodating with baby.

Best place in Maple Ridge to grab a bite to eat. Love coming here, totally worth the wait. Kid-friendliness: They are incredibly supportive of our toddler. They bring the highchair over and provide him his own plate. Lovely staff!!

Finally tried this place for breakfast and it was excellent both times. Great food, great service. Highly recommend trying it. Farmer Breakfast is a favourite.

The staff are friendly and always seem to care about their customers. I have NEVER had bad food or bad service here. The kitchen must be incredibly clean and you can taste that in their food. Prices are average to most and food quality and service is above average so thats a no-brainer! I just wish they were able to expand and be even bigger and serve dinner??

Always a great go-to for a weekend brunch or a great mid-day lunch. Try the tuna melt, its absolutely delicious. The service is great, every server is polite and seem genuinely happy to see you. There are lines, especially on the weekends but it is absolutely worth the wait!

Amazing service and food. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles, I had the salmon Benedict. We were blown away! They were graciously open on Christmas Eve morning, despite the awful weather. They were busy but never skipped a beat. Best service I ve had in a long time. Thank you!

Very few places get breakfast / brunch right and this is one of those places. Ordered two eggs with Ham, toast and a side of fries. The eggs were cooked perfectly, sunny side up. The toast was done well and the fries were absolutely delicious. The coffee was really good as well. Polite service and relaxed ambience Will definitely come back here again to try more options including something from the lunch menu. Good food, good ambience and good people. Two thumbs up !!

Its my first here and went on a Sunday with family for brunch. I tried Bulgogi skillet and really liked it. Everything served in a timely manner with friendly staff. Jimmy s is a hidden gem in Maple Ridge. The food is always outstanding, and the service is great. This time I ordered the Pulled Pork Skillet, it comes with 2 poached eggs, pulled pork, caramelized onion, cheese, BBQ teriyaki and hollandaise sauce, sourdough, and your choice of hashbrown. Amazing! It s essentially an Eggs benny skillet, and it s my new favourite item on their menu! My girlfriend got the California Eggs Benedict, with Poached eggs, avocado, tomato, bacon and hollandaise, this is our go to and it s delicious every time!

Dropped in for breakfast. Got seated right away. Order taken also right away. Got espresso for $3, pretty good. Prices reasonable and food was good. Lots of choices. We will return.

Went here for the first time with my boyfriend. We were seated right away and the servers were so kind and welcoming! The food was ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR!!! Everything was sooo flavourful that my taste buds were bouncing in joy! I have never had such an amazing breakfast 100/10 we will definitely be back soon !

Wait staff was prompt and friendly, attentive to coffee refills. I had the Waffle and Chicken which had 5 deep fried *boneless* thighs - a bonus in my mind since it wasnt mentioned in the menu description and I expected to have to deal with bones.

JLB is our go to basic diner spot.we love the eggs Benny and shredded hash browns. We always say we are going to order something else but never do.

Went for lunch. The restaurant was clean, servers were very attentive and friendly. The food came quickly and was piping hot. There is art on the walls from local artists for sale. It really gave the atmosphere a warm feel. I highly recommend this place and will be back the next time Im in the area.

Wow! The chicken and waffle breakfast was amazing! I mistakingly ordered extra bacon, thinking it wasn t going to be enough food. It was unneeded because there was 5 chicken thighs on top of a delicious waffle. The eggs Benny was also delicious, as was the won ton soup. And the price was WAY better than I would have expected for what we got. Too bad I m only visiting for a few days because I would be here every other weekend for family breakfast.

Great breakfast/brunch spot in maple ridge. We came all the way from north van! Delicious pancakes, & skillets. Loved the food, cute/cosy diner esthetic, and also great friendly service. It was a pretty long wait for our food (35-40 mins) but it was worth it because alot of care went into every dish! I would come back for sure. Would also like to add: the prices are also very reasonable! Best Ive seen for breakfast.

Varied and unusual menu but loved everything weve tried!

After going to the Coquitlam location for a year, I was very excited to find one in maple ridge once moving. Unfortunately, it was an ok experience. We were told we would wait 15mn, it ended up being more than 30mn. The food was great, but I found the portions of both the food and hot chocolate a lot smaller than Coquitlam for the same price. It is good, but I rather drive down to the Coquitlam location for a better experience.

Ive been coming here for years. Its a great breakfast and lunch spot, with diner style hearty comfort food. Simple, yet flavourful, this place is a favourite with locals. The service is great, even when the place is busy during rushes.

The best hollandaise sauce and the shredded hash browns are to die for. Mine and all my friends/family s favourite breakfast spot. Everyone I know who tries it absolutely loves it. Vegetarian options: I m vegetarian and I am absolutely obsessed with the California eggs Benedict with no bacon! You can modify lots of the menu to fit what you would enjoy. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free toast option! Which I always get with my Benny Kid-friendliness: High chairs

Best little place for breakfast/ lunch in the Ridge , my wife says the pulled pork is heaven and the eggs and hash brown breakfast is top notch. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food comes fast and hot . Highly recommended for a tasty meal .

The best brunch place in Maple Ridge! It served during the Covid period. It opens from 8am to 3pm. It was around 2pm. But customers still came here for brunch. Old and young people also came here for brunch. Would it be amazing? My husband and I ordered chicken waffles egg with egg and bulgogi egg benedict with sourdough toasts. Wow the chef cooked each ingredient well. Presentation of the chicken waffle with egg was well don. It looked very beautiful when a server brought the dish to our table. The hash brown was very crispy and Bulgogi (which is Korean beef) was very soft and marinated well. We were very satisfied with every single ingredient here. We could see the chef put an effort to make each dish perfect. I would highly recommend others to come here for brunch if they go to Maple Ridge. The service was excellent. Servers (who were two Korean ladies) were friendly and cared about each customer. There is street parking everywhere, so don t need to worry about parking. I would love to try more dishes next time if I have a day trip out in Maple Ridge

great little hole in the wall for a lack of a better term. You know its good when people are waiting out on the street to get a seat. Food was fantastic! We had eggs benedict, veggie bowl and Bulgogi Bowl. It sounds weird, but it was delicious to me! Will most definitely go here again on our next trip thro here.

Would honestly give this zero stars. This is not the real Jimmy s Lunch Box. The real Jimmy s Lunch Box is in Port Coquitlam. The food we had at JLB tasted like it was reheated from frozen.

I used to love this place but every time I go there the quality of customer service is lower. Today I stood at the wait to be seated sign that five feet from the cash register for ten minutes. The servers at the register never even looked at me. The servers walking past me never even looked at me. When a server stood a foot from me to pick up the sign in ledger (for covid?) that sits on the podium that says wait here to be seated she never looked at me or acknowledged my existence at all. There was no one else waiting, just me. Will they seat me? Am I in the cue for seating? Am I invisible? Do they not seat single people because they don t make enough from a table with one customer? Are they trying to use ESP and haven t figured out I m not mind-reader-literate?! How hard would it have been for one of the people working there to make eye contact and give me a nod so I know they at least recognize a human is standing there? How do you work in customer service and refuse to acknowledge a customer s existence for ten minutes? Naw. They don t need my business I guess. I hear restaurants are doing super well in this economy so losing customers because you ignore them while they re trying to spend money with you makes a lot of sense. As I left the last server who ignored me while standing a foot in front of me decided to acknowledge me while walking out the door so when I m walking out you want to acknowledge I exist but not for the ten minutes you avoided eye contact.

I ve gone to the Poco location a few times, but stopped at this location to get some food to go for bringing along while 4x4ing. I love their Turkey Club Sandwich - it s the perfect triple decker. Really good fries and onion rings too. Thanks Jimmy! Lol
