This is my go-to for authentic Mexican groceries. Our family loves Mexican inspired food, so I buy all my ingredients at Lupita. Their staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

The food is great, not fancy but v tasty. The staff is very friendly and the vibes are good. I frequently buy corn tortillas from here as they are decently fresh, the salsas are excellent. Id eat here for dinner more if it was open a touch later but thats minor

First time giving this place a try, front service woman was very nice and helpful, food was a nice big portion for a normal person could probably have left overs, meat was nicely seasoned veggies all tasted fresh not much more you can ask for, if your hungry this place is for you, and you can get some awesome groceries/sauces to take home from there store will be a regular from now on

I came from Downtown, Vancouver just to have some enfrijoladas for breakfast because Google tells me its open and they actually have their store closed, terrible service.

Very authentic my favourite in the area sooo yummy. I also get my stuff to make my homemade enchiladas from here as well. Little pricey but worth it.

My fave! We ve started to cook some of these traditional dishes on our own as well. They sell the traditional supplies to cook it yourselves. So in love with this place and its gotta be 15 years or more we ve been going.

Walked in to order some food and the cashier is busy flirting it up with some lady. Whatever no big deal. But I waited 10 minutes and they were still talking and nobody acknowledged me that I was there to order food. I just walked out the door, that was so rude.

It s my go to every time I crave real Mexican food (which is more often than I d like to admit). It s fresh, decently priced and so delicious. Love their street tacos! The folks behind the counter and in kitchen are awesome too!

I love Lupitas and eat here regularly. I am celiac. Having been eating here at least once a month for a year, I have never been sick and sometimes even forget to tell them to be extra careful of cross contact. Their tacos and other orderable menu items are great (my favourite is the potato!), but also be sure to check out their freezer items! They have great tamales, but hot diggity the pozole soup is something else! Theyre even going to be making the food for my wedding! I cant wait. :)

This is the only place to go . Me and my daughter love Mexico and go every year . over to yours my daughter has fallen in love with the street tacos, in Puerto Vallarta from Don down by the marina. When we found this little jam, about 15 years ago, it was a place and the only place . We make up a lot of our own authentic tacos at home. This place has the supplies we need. There s other taco places in Maple Ridge. Just ignore them go here.

Lupitas is your go to source for everything you need when you are craving Mexican cuisine. Their in house made products are delicious and make a Mexican meal at home simple. I m always impressed with the selection of products they carry and the fact that they keep adding to the inventory with new items is great. Excellent selection of dried chillies.

The tortilla soup is a stand out top notch meal. Ive had it to go a few times and it is FANTASTIC with chunks of well seasoned chicken and all the fixings of a great tortilla soup (creama, Cilantro, avocado, cheese and tortilla strips). Totally recommended.

OMG...I just went there for lunch today and ordered four 4-inch tacos (adobo chicken, chorizo, birria, and carnita! I honestly dont know which one I liked BEST? Because each bit was like a flavor explosion in my mouth! I would say that this is some of the BEST Mexican food in all of Maple Ridge! I got a birria burrito which was amazing! It s definitely a two-meal burrito. Absolutely stuffed with flavourful, fresh ingredients. I looked around while my food was being prepared and found so many things I want to try at some point. They ve got all sorts of bottled sauces including Valentina s. They even have Chamoy sauce! Bags of hand-made tortilla chips are available for purchase as well as all ingredients for a family taco night at home ready to go in their fridge. Everything from pico de gallo to the tortillas. It s a must try and a huge step up from any mexican restaurants around. This place is the real deal! The lady that prepared my order could not have been nicer. She was awesome! Great experience overall.

Awesome little store and restaurant combined. I regularly buy fresh chips and salsa from them as well as all the bits for making great Mexican food at home. Only eaten there once so far but it was very good, as expected!

This unassuming restaurant serves up amazing authentic food and the owners are very friendly. It is a casual dining place, with a few small tables and options for take out. There are plenty of quality supplies on hand to stock in your kitchen when you want cook your own amazing food. Stop in and grab an authentic street Taco! The carnitas (pork) is my fav and the beans are fire. They also sell a variety of unique confectionery to try, we had a tiny sponge cake covered with chocolate, and it was amazing. 10/10 will be back again.

Each and every time Ive ordered from them, lunch or dinner was fabulous. Great menu and if youre fussy like me and cant make up your mind just ask the staff for recommendations. Best Mexican food Ive tried, very fresh authentic and seasoned perfectly. All around Id give this restaurant a 5+. The only thing that i wish is that they were opened on Sundays.

Great authentic food. Portions were large and the price was reasonable. We had heard about Taqueria Lupita for some time and finally just decided to drop by and we were pleased with how good the food was. They sell other Mexican items like sauce and chips. It would be an understatement to say well definitely be going back again in the future. Not too many high quality Mexican restaurants out there.

The owner brings in fresh Ingredients throughout the week and has some unique offerings for dining in and taking home. We went with the tacos of of day. A slow cooked beef with all the toppings. I bought some goodies to go. Fresh tortillas with a spicy guacamole! Some of the best nachoes Ive made. Its all in the chip.

I love this place. First time here today. I had the chicken tortilla soup and the kid had a taco. The food was fantastic! Staff are so lovely! I cant wait to go back and try more. They also have groceries. Lots of Mexican groceries to stock the pantry with. Go see them. Places like this need to stay open and thrive!

I felt Id stepped in to a small place in Mexico. The quesadilla was delicious which came in recycled container. Lots of choices, lots of Mexican products. Definitely recommend it.

Stumbled across this gem this month, I use to go to travel to Langley to get my Spanish goodies. They are WAY cheaper then the store in Langley. Tonight we decided to give the tacos a try, ordered the tex mex street tacos combo, all I have to say is OMG! The tacos were AMAZING and the beans and rice were AMAZING as well! Very reasonable prices and the quality is at the top of the charts! We are definitely regulars there now! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

Authentic Mexican Style street bites in central Maple Ridge. They have a nice Mexicano vibe uniquely also sell pinatas and other local Mexican products. Beef tacos were picture worthy presentable and looked appetizing, but a little on the salty side.

I find it very hard to rate this place. Food was so-so, we thought the wet burrito was soggy and weird, and definitely not authentic according to my Mexican friends. The filling however was delicious. The portions were huge overall, buy the prsentation we found to be less than appetizing. The tacos were ok, weve definitely had better. The people there are lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable. The guacamole was delicious, and so were the chips. They have a variety of goods imported from Mexico, which is a plus. Well likely give the food a second try.

Trying to find ingredients to make authentic Mexican dishes in British Columbia is tough. These guys were super friendly, helpful and had a large selection of unique items. Im going to recommend this place to everyone who will listen to me.

Not bad. I used a Mobile Bandit coupon for buy one get one 50% off and I did notice that the second burrito was, well skint to say the least vs. the other one. Honestly, good flavor but nothing that stood out for me. I find better value and great flavors at Quesada tbh. Would I go again? Probably, but hopefully its a little more next time for the money.

2022. Michelle is a great host. Her chef makes delicious food. I miss the self serve salsa and hot sauce. Hope theres a way to bring that back at some point. Its changed ownership since I first went... But still turning out great food. Wet burrito and took tortilla soup to go. They packed the sides separate so they stayed fresh. Wish there was non plastic packaging? Yummy! Covid took away the self serve salsa options but they put some on my wet burrito for me Original review from 2017 Friendly, warm good cusina-del-casa. Great burritos, tacos and more. Not American style (so no crunchy shells). Mild food... but spicy salsa. Easy to adjust to your taste. It would be GREAT if they had a water picture lol. Maple Ridge is getting more Mexican food restaurants. This is still a Go To when getting Mexican take away.

I tried this place again after 7 months and it still suffers from the same issues: an unremarkable menu that sees little to no change stapled up on the wall with poor quality photos, and food thats merely passable. This time around the order didnt come with the salsa it was supposed to and staff didnt seem to care at all. In general, most of the plates taste like meat and cheese with little else to elevate the dish, especially compared to competition just around the block.

Lupitas is the best Mexican you can get outside of Mexico. So good in fact we had them cater our wedding and everybody raved about it!!!

I ordered a burrito from Taqueria Lupita on Skip The Dishes today, and I wrote extra spicy (do your worst) in the special instructions. They absolutely followed through and this burrito has destroyed me and reduced me to tears. 10/10. Will order again.

The food is ok. The last time we visited this place we arrived 20 min before closing and couldnt order any food because they already shutdown the kitchen. They actually close the kitchen earlier than listing time but the store remains open.

Had their farmers market frozen burritos to give them a try, top notch. We have also been to the restaurant for takeout twice now and its flavour and consistency is great.

Honest to god authentic taco, I swear this reminds me of places I have gone in Mexico. If you happen to stumble here, lots to recommend because they are all good, I just ate grandma s recipe , but beef and avocado are great too .

Owner or manager as well as front counter employee is not very responsible and very careless. They are just busy talking always. She said waiting is 2 mins for order pick up but she took 15-20 minutes. They dont care at all. Very disappointing behavior of staff.

Small, local, great food. We can get spices and other supplies for cooking Mexican food, as well as purchasing meals to eat-in, or take away. The staff is pleasant, and always willing to answer any questions we might have, whether its their recommendation for a meal, or cooking tips. They offer some gluten free items including GF carnitas! I ordered lunch from this place on skip today so so glad I did. The food is amazing. I ordered extra salsa and chips and Im so glad I did. The portions are large and its sooo fresh! Very good value for what you pay and the portion size. I had a chicken enchilada and a chicken burrito but it was so large I only got to the enchilada. Glad I over ordered cause now theres lunch for tomorrow!! Cant wait to show my friends about this place as I highly recommend it!!

Went here for the first time today and Im amazed! Very authentic real Mexican food, lots of awesome groceries in there as well. So impressed! I had the chicken enchiladas with half rice and half beans. So delicious, the enchilada sauce had the perfect kick, Im kicking myself for not grabbing a bag of their frozen burritos. I will definitely go again!

If you are looking for delicious authentic Mexican food, THIS IS IT! We spend several months a year in Mexico and we have been all over the Greater Vancouver area in search of something close to Authentic Mexican food, we finally found it in our own backyard. This will be our regular go to from now on. Stop and get some chips, guacamole and salsa to take home. Amazing. Don t forget the Churros, you can bring home and bake & sugar.

I first went there to grab some Mexican grocery items that are usually hard to find such as certain chilis and spices. Impressed by their large selection:) I regretted not giving myself enough time to have eaten there that day. So, I went back a day later for tacos! I have a small appetite, so I opted for their smaller size tacos. 2 filled me up perfectly. The (very nice) woman who worked there reccomend the carnitas cucumber salad tacos for me as I was torn what to order with their large veriety...Best tacos Ive ever had. Ever. Put an instant smile on my face. I am a regular traveler to Mexico and they are spot on authentic. Im fortunate enough to live close by so I can enjoy this place more. Will reccomend to Anyone!
