Classic diner style restaurant. Good food, typical pricing. Fries arent the greatest - hard to find a place that serves good ones these days.

Excellent tasty food here. The eggs Benny Florentino were perfect , went back 2 days later and had the Greek chicken burger and fries and that did not disappoint. The staff are welcoming, efficient and friendly. Have not yet tried theor desserts but will have to do so soon.

Terrible service and experience at this restaurant. We were seated and waiting for half an hour or more, not one waitress offered us water, checked in to see if we were ready to order or even looked in our direction so we could get their attention and wave them over. Everyone around us was getting offered water/drinks, getting their orders taken and all around getting somewhat decent service. Very disappointing cause I had hopes for this place.

I was excited to try the cherry tomato jam on the avocado toast and was told we dont serve that anymore...nobody liked it. this was basically a grilled cheese with some guacamole on it

What an absolute gem!! Been meaning to try this place forever and now Im sorry I waited so long! The bistro was bustling on this holiday Monday but we were seated after a short wait. Hubs had the Ronnys Burger and I had the Caprese Panino; both were so fresh and delicious. Even better than the food is the service; was lovely getting to chat with the owner and we cant wait to go back and try the lasagna!

What a hidden gem! Went here with my family for brunch after some vintage market shopping, and we are so glad we found this place. Super friendly service, one of the workers saw my dad wearing a Harley shirt and gave us our coffee on the house as it turns out he has a mutual love of Harleys! The food was delicious and the portions were a good size which is hard to find nowadays. I ordered the pulled pork hot pot breakfast bowl and even though everyone else loved their food, they wished they ordered mine because it was just that good. I definitely want to go back to try more things and try one fo their awesome looking soups. Highly recommend this place looking for a good brunch spot.

Wish I could give zero stars all around but thats not possible. I dont even know where to begin. Dirty bathrooms, loud annoying music, the eggs benny was over priced and underwhelming to say the least. I asked about the Hollandaise and was told it was house made, Ill bet a million dollars its not It wasnt overly busy yet the server (owner?) seemed preoccupied and annoyed. We were so disappointed all around that we didnt finish our meals, and didnt bother to complain cause it would have come out again just as gross. Save your money and go to jimmys lunch box if you want a greasy breakfast that fills you up.

Such a gem!! Always heard such good reviews and honestly always forget about Ronny s until today. Everything was so yummy. Staff are friendly. Atmosphere was perfect. Would like to try some of their take home items. Seriously happy that Maple Ridge has something like this. Definitely won t forget now and will definitely will return. Oh has the breakfast bowl (hot pot?) highly recommend. My friends had the breakfast sandwich & croissant French toast all highly liked. Yay Ronny s keep it up!

Ronnys Bistro offers a decent dining experience, but there are a few areas that could use improvement. The food is okay, with some dishes being flavorful, while others lacked seasoning. The service was friendly but a bit slow, even when the restaurant wasn t very busy. The atmosphere is pleasant, though the decor feels a bit outdated. Its a good spot for a casual meal, but there s room for a more consistent experience.

Ronnys Bistro continues to impress! I recently tried their Smoked Salmon Benny, and it was exceptional. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, and the smoked salmon added a delightful depth of flavor. The hollandaise sauce was rich and creamy, complementing the dish beautifully. The crispy potatoes on the side were seasoned just right, making for a satisfying and hearty meal. This is definitely a must-try for anyone who loves a good eggs benedict. Ill be back for more!

After the positive reviews I went with a friend to check out Ronny s what a huge disappointment the waitress was rude even though the restaurant was empty. I ordered waffles and they ran out don t you make own waffles?

Came here for breakfast while my car was getting fixed. I found it through Google and it was worth it. The food was amazing. The kids croffle is a waffle made out of croissant dough and it was so good. We also had a hot pot and top of the morning breakfast. It was huge portions and clearly homemade and not frozen. I m so pleased with this restaurant. I would definitely recommend. Parking can be a tad tricky as there s only a few stalls but so worth it. I had the hot pot and posted a picture after I had started it. So much food, lots of veggies and sausage and just so filling. Yummmmmm.

I have tried Crispy Chicken Burger, Italian way Club house, hash browns and yam fries from Ronny s Bistro and the food was so good and tasty. Definitely visit again and highly recommended.

Ordered eggs Benedict two ways and neither was edible. Eggs were undercooked and whites were running and sauce tasted of just raw yolk. Served in a bun and not an English muffin. Potatoes were frozen style heated up.

Have been to Ronnys a handful of times now. Each visit is always great. The food is fresh and always delicious (highly recommend the Holla-Hot Pot!). You can tell a lot of heart and soul are put into this restaurant, it shows in the food and atmosphere. Not to mention, the coffee is 100% the best in town. Absolute must try!

Went with my wife and 2 kids. Wife and I loved the food, staff was friendly and attentive, and the music was great. 2 year old loved it because croffles were 10/10 with all the fixings and trains were going by so he was over the moon. If youre looking for traditional breakfast done with passion and thoughtfulness. Look no further.

We stopped in today by chance and was pleasantly surprised about our experience! My husband and I came with our baby (8 months) and elderly parents with a wheelchair, and a dog (which was aloud on the patio!). They accommodated everything and were very helpful and kind. The food was great, but the service was even better! The owners are so nice and came to make sure everything was good. We just cant say enough about our first experience here and will definitely be coming back!! Kid-friendliness: So accommodating! Wheelchair accessibility: They made room for us on the patio and it was totally accessible for my dad in his wheelchair!

This is my sons account as I dont know how to change it to mine. I was in today for the first time and ordered the Eggs Benedict. No go, they were out of hollandaise and butter so I ordered a hamburger. The hamburger had way to much grease. Not only should the patty be pressed while cooking, it should be patted after cooking. The side salad I had was basic ice berg lettuce with sliced cucumber and radish with a non impressive dressing ( any neighbourhood pub in the area far exceeds their salad). This review isnt meant to be a criticism in a complaint but a hopeful criticism for improvement. Its a good atmosphere and lay out. Restaurants can not run out of main ingredients ever and honest reviews should be taken seriously if the business wants to thrive. I probably wont be back. I went while waiting for a tire repair at Albion Tire.

Honestly we would like to come back again as the food was good but the service was so slow, we will not return. We waited for over 20 minutes to even be served the coffee. We kept staring at the front where the two servers were chatting and never once looking into the restaurant to see if people needed anything. We almost just walked out, it was like nobody would have even cared or noticed anyway. The restaurant was not even full? We waited for everything, even at the end to pay the bill to leave we had to wait exceptionally long.

Ronny has created a fun retro diner atmosphere in this secret gem of a bistro in Maple Ridge. The food is delicious and the vibe was relaxing, fun and classy all at the same time. Ronny herself came to greet us as well as several of her guests to her place. Ronny made us feel so welcome. You can tell she takes great pride in the customer experience she has created. I absolutely recommend this bistro and will be back again and again.

Popped in today for the first time big menu full of breakfast and lunch items plus daily specials and a few treats decided to try the homemade pierogies and I was so glad I did! My husband went with the Italian clubhouse and he was just as happy with his meal Huge proportions! We took two kinds of cheesecake home for later and they were delicious too! 10 out of 10 we will definitely be back. Great vibes, friendly service and excellent food.

This is the cutest place! I ordered the crispy chicken burger with fries. The burger was probably the best Ive ever had. My friend and I had an hour long catch up and the server didnt rush us to settle the bill. Definately go check out this place.

Went by this past Friday for lunch. Cute place. Fun decor. Comfy booth seating and great service. The food was excellent! I asked about pasta and server checked then I ordered pasta carbonara. So good. Pasta was cooked perfectly , not over cooked as you get so often. Sauce was creamy and the bacon was tasty (decent quality for sure). Hubby had clubhouse on sourdough with fries. Sandwich was huge and amazing. Fries double cooked so nice and crispy. He ate 1/2 of his and me about 1/3. Can t wait for lunch today. Leftovers :). Next time we will share. Saw the burger and eggs Benny go out and they look fantastic too. Will def be back.

Good brunch food from this off the beaten path restaurant. Our group has egg Benedict with pulled pork, burger, club house and avocado toast. Good size portions. Open 9:30-3:30.

My wife and I were there for lunch today, Eggs Benny for her, Sausage and Pepper Hotpot for my, just excellent, plus, the service was terrific. Also, the Hotpot has their homemade BBQ sauce, which they sell, brought home 3 bottles, absolutely delicious. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

A friend recommended this place for a Saturday brunch. A hopping joint with a great diner atmosphere mixed with Nona s Italian kitchen. We had a pulled pork Bennie, regular Bennie and the pasta special. Portion size was great to fill a very hungry person. Pasta was cooked perfectly. The Bennie s came on a roll that added a nice touch of texture. Great flavour at a reasonable price.

Breakfast date with my husband and we finally made it to this not so hidden gem anymore! We arrived at 9:30 and were the only customers there but others slowly arrived to fill the tables. The server said they have been so busy with all the FB reviews and now I know why! Our food was amazing and so flavorful and the service was great. I couldn t finish mine and had to bring the rest home. We will absolutely be back again. Update (Feb2024) - came back for brunch on a Saturday morning, there was only 1 person serving a room full of guests. Our food took 50 mins to arrive at our table the coffee was warm and my mug had lipstick on it (not mine ). The bill was about $55 for both of us and although the food was decent, definitely not the best start to our weekend.

I picked up a soup (beef barley) and sandwich (turkey club) and both were delicious - even after driving home and eating it 30 mins later. I especially loved that the sandwich had buttery grilled bread and yummy melted cheese.

My husband took me here for our first valentines lunch without our kids before school pick up at 220. We showed up at 1pm, seated ourselves and drank a cold coffee from a dirty mug until 1:50 when we decided to just go through a drive thru so we werent late to get our kids....youd think with an hour and a half of time we could get the two clubhouse sandwiches we ordered lol....it was one server, the poor girl. I heard so many raves I talked about going here for weeks before we finally had time without the kids, I was so disappointed

My wife and kids come here often. My favourite menu item is the Ronny s Munch and my wife loves the eggs Benedict w/bacon. Service is wonderful and friendly. Nice atmosphere.

Summers dinner has changed to Ronnies Bistro and it is so great. Went in January 2nd and had an amazing breakfast with great attentive service. They were out of hash browns as the deliveries had been inconsistent because of Christmas and New Years, which is to be expected. They substituted with fries and honestly I might try to order fries with breakfast next time. Menu has good variety, lots to try. Will be back for the Ruben Sandwich and I cant wait.

When I tell you Ronnie made my New Year s, I mean it. I reached out to her via FB to see if she would be available to cater my NYE party. I d been intending on cooking but decided about 10 days before to look at other options. Ronnie was such a delight to work with. She worked within my budget, prepared copious amounts of everything, and made it all to perfection. We had chicken cacciatore in a homemade sauce that was to die for, 2 pasta dishes to accommodate preferences, homemade bread everyone loved, and a beautiful Caesar salad with the best homemade dressing I ve had. We had 15 guests and enough leftovers to send each home with another 2 servings. The menu was thought out perfectly for our buffet style party. She made it so we could truly focus on entertaining our guests and for that I ll be forever grateful. If you haven t given Ronnie s a try,.. you are missing out

Very friendly staff and the food was very tasty

I stopped in here today because I was in the area and a friend had told me it was getting rave reviews on Facebook and we should try it sometime. It was about an hour before closing and there was one other customer. I ordered a Ronnys Chicken Burger. I cant eat potatoes so I declined fries (told the server why) and asked if they could sub something. The server offered a choice of soups, one being Thai Corn Chowder and the other being Potato, Bacon & Leek. I repeated that I cant eat potatoes so chose the Thai Corn Chowder. After a while in which I enjoyed the decor and the server filled the other customers water but not mine, my meal arrived, with the wrong soup. She apologized and quickly brought out the corn chowder. She also refilled my water at my request. I ate the burger first. The brioche bun was toasted and deliciously crunchy. The burger sauce and ingredients tasted fresh. The chicken breast, although marinated, was a tiny bit dry and seemed to fall out in bits, rather than being one breast. By the end it was too messy to eat with my hands (although I often find burgers to be that way and rarely order them for that reason) so I knife and forked it. Overall, the flavours were great and I dubbed it delicious. Ive never had Thai Corn Chowder but I love Thai chicken soup and was expecting a similar flavour profile. It was different but good, until I discovered it was also full of chunks of potato. However, they were easily removed. The server was very apologetic and really it was no big deal, but I cant give four or five stars. Im not allergic to potatoes, they just aggravate my arthritis which is bad right now anyway so I avoid them as much as possible. And because this is a roadside diner in an industrial area, my expectations of the service are probably too high. No matter where I go, if a server expects a tip (which they all do and which I always give regardless, just on a scale), I expect good service. Excellent service requires many skills including listening, memory, communication, organization, time management, attention, knowing ingredients in the food being served, friendliness, smiling, and caring, in my opinion. I eat out a lot and rarely encounter servers that possess that list of skills. Most are three stars. A note to the owner, I make comments about the service on most of my reviews so youre not being singled out. The server was pleasant enough and apologized three times so its fine. But its strange to me that for such a popular and well-paid (if you count tips) job, there is no education required or available to teach people how to become excellent servers. Anyway, its a cute little place and hopefully the current success will continue.

Arrived at the restaurant around 11am on a Saturday for dine in a few weeks ago. Luckily there was no wait at that time. The food was amazing! Portions were big. Good variety of breakfast and lunch items. Ordered a coffee and they kept coming to fill it. Food and drinks are reasonably priced. Friendly staff. If your not happy they make sure you will be when you leave. Be patient tho because its a new place! They are still trying to catch their bearings. Rome was not built in a day!

Every time I ve gone here I ve been impressed. Food is delicious and prices are reasonable. Very community oriented ownership and the food is consistently tasty and comforting. Seems more like home cooking than a restaurant!

I was expecting a lot more based on the influx of awesome reviews Ive seen in a Facebook group. The service was excellent and attentive, but the food was really not impressive. My husband and I both had the Sausage & Pepper Hot Pot, which is a bowl of hashbrowns, roasted peppers, chopped bacon, spinach, bbq sauce, sausage and two eggs on top, and choice of toast. Very disappointed... Super small portion, hashbrowns were soggy, both my husband and I had less than half of a sausage in each bowl, NO BACON in either of our bowls, and unfortunately the sourdough bread, although delicious, was cold. Walked away with a $50 bill for two breakfasts and one coffee that were underwhelming... Not impressed. I would suggest making the hashbrowns more crispy, adding more sausage (not unreasonable to have at least ONE sausage per bowl?), dont forget the bacon..... and cheese. Its too bad because I was expecting a lot more. Ive been to this location before (previous owners) and had one of the best breakfasts Ive ever had. I dont think I will be back :/

Very unique setting offering that old Italian charm. I had breakfast, the service was great, warm and attentive service. Breakfast was delicious, eggs basted perfect, toast was grilled on one side making this a delicious bite. They were so accommodating to my request of having a split of bacon and sausage. If I have any suggestion it would be to have an option of pan fried hash browns vs deep fried. Highly recommended this place. Will definitely come back to try the daily Italian specials.

Veronica worked with us to have my Dads birthday in her restaurant. She was extremely accommodating to dietary needs and worked with our budget. The food was incredible! We will not hesitate to have future functions in her restaurant moving forward!

Retro vibe with lots of Harley decor, posters, wooden furniture etc. It s not often you see the owner of a restaurant not only in on a Sunday but walking around refilling waters and coffee. Eggs are perfectly fluffy, the waffles as well. Hash browns crisped to perfection as well as seasoned. Sausages were fantastic, sourdough slices nice and thick, perfectly toasted on one side with butter, the other side soft and bready. Highly recommend.

Despite being in the middle of nowhere, this place has some of the best food in town. Not even in Maple Ridge, in the entire Lower Mainland.

A-one for this place! Personal service for dietary needs were easy and Ronnie (owner/chef) came out to make sure our needs we met. Ronny is absolutely one of a kind, she pours her heart and soul into everything she does. We had a private party at her little restaurant and had the absolute best time. Wow! Walked in the door to be greated by a very nice lady. Its been updated since the place before, looks great. The food was TOP NOTCH!! Had a caramel macchiato followed by eggs benny (not on the menu but server suggested). Husband ordered the sausage and peppers hot pot. Fresh ingredients for sure. Will definitely be back and recommend.

Had a really well cooked , seasoned and served burger at Ronnie s. All of the ingredients were well balanced and fresh tasting.

I love a good clubhouse Sammy, so when that craving hits me, I have to fulfil it. Usually, I ll get one from Jimmy s Lunch Box or White Spot. Today however, I decided to give Ronny s Bistro a try given the positive reviews here. I used Uber Eats to order. When I saw the menu I was super excited because the fine folks at Ronnys understands the importance of cheese on a clubhouse. They understand that if it aint cheesy it aint gunna go down easy! One of the reasons I don t order a club from the Home restaurant is because they have no simple mechanism to add cheese to a clubhouse and it offends me on behalf of the Dairy farmers of Canada (#butIdigress). Ronny s is amazing because they actually include TWO TYPES of cheese on their basic build Swiss and mozzarella! So, it was an easy order. I included a Caesar salad as my side in a failed attempt to pretend I am eating healthy. The order arrived and I opened the clamshell container. This is when I realized that Ronny s Club was in direct violation of one of the key laws regarding clubhouse sammies . 1) A clubhouse shalt always include THREE layers of bread unless the eater determines they cannot handle an actual clubhouse and demands less bread. The Ronnys club had just two slices of bread, but they were sourdough so at least it was good bread. The ingredients in the Sammy tasted excellent, although there was just not enough bacon on it for me. I had to go looking for it in the Sammy and it took a little digging In the end, the clubhouse was tasty, but I felt like I only had 2/3 of a clubhouse and for the same price-point at Jimmy s, White Spot, etc., I get more sandwich. Sadly, the Ceasar salad was nothing short of mediocre. The dressing was bland and tasted a lot like a salad kit from Walmart/No Frills. There was no bacon, no parm, and very little seasoning. Which, on the plus side meant I actually was eating healthier and not just pretending. The packaging was also not something I preferred. They put the grilled Sammy in the same container as the well-dressed Ceasar Salad, which meant that for fifteen minutes my Clubhouse was getting soggy. I believe in minimizing packaging, but all it would take is a small bit of wax paper to help keep the Sammy and salad separate so both arrived in good shape. I can t comment on the service or venue. I ordered in and any criticism of my desk or the service I gave myself as I opened my delivery bag would be unfair as I am not a professional. I didn t tip myself but that shouldn t be seen as a testament to my lack of service. Also, I think I probably need to smile at myself more and I never asked if I needed a refresh on my soda so the tip may have suffered. I will definitely try Ronny s again! I won t order the club and I probably won t get it delivered, but I will head over with friends to try burgers or other fair. This experience wasn t up to my expectations, but it wasn t bad. It just may not be a place where I get my Clubhouse fix.

I am not sure why people give good reviews to this place because the food is absolutely gross! We had simple bacon and eggs. The bacon was undercooked, eggs were black from an unclean frying pan and the toast was soaked in grease. However the server was very polite as the place was empty due to the quality of the food.
