On a recent dinner out to the Keg I tried the Stuffed Yorkies..while they sounded good, they were not. There was barely any meat stuffed into them, barely any gravey and overpowered by way too much horseradish sauce. Next time I will stick to their steak. The server was pleasant, but the interior needs a makeover.

The Keg Maple Ridge deserves an update to 5Stars. Had dinner there last night. I ordered two dishes from their Christmas menu - Kansas City Steak and Prime Rib Stuffed Yorkshire Pudding. These dishes were superb and so delicious. Wow, they were ever delicious. Thank you for having us last night and giving us the best dining experience. We will be back again.

I am a long time Kegger. First time at this location. I dont think I would go back. Everything was ok. The most exceptional part was the delivery of food otherwise service was meh. And the restaurant was quite chilly.

This is one of the better Keg locations. Great food and service as youd expect at The Keg!

Just went to have some Billy Miner pie and relax. Service was great. I wonder if a renovation is scheduled for this location?

Weve always found the Keg to be a sure thing for a decent meal dining out. If theres something not to your liking its usually made right immediately. Still a nice touch with Birthday dessert on the house. Prices are up every where these days so youll be at least $50 per dinner and substantially more if you order drinks and appetizers. We still go when funds allow. Only issue is noise around sports bar area. If you want to talk get a table in the back. Parking: Handicap parking stalls available out front if youre an early bird diner. They fill up fast after opening.

I dont usually post reviews, but I had to acknowledge the wonderful evening my husband and I had celebrating his 30th birthday tonight. Food as always was exceptional, but what truly set the night apart was the staff. Courtney (sp?) was our server and she was absolutely delightful--prompt and friendly and so attentive--but we had just as nice an experience with 3 other staff members who we interacted with over the course of the evening. Customer service is hard and you guys knocked it out of the park so effortlessly. We cant thank you enough!

This place is sad. Will not let you and your friends have more the one bottle of wine. This is stupid. You cannot even enjoy more than a bottle line with your friends. I would never go here again.

We have frequented this Keg restaurant for over 20 years. We have had good service and atrocious service but tonight was one of our best experiences in all our years. We had reservations for 6:30 and were seated immediately despite the restaurant being very busy. Our server, Chrissy (not sure it is spelled correctly) was such a delight. She recommended a wine that the she described like a Sommelier - although we opted with a tried and true, I was quite impressed. We ordered 2 steaks and 1 prime rib. She ensured each of us were ordering the meat cooked exactly as we expected, right down to temperature and colour. She was friendly and attentive. Everything arrived as desired and then some. I let her know how much we appreciated the attention to detail however I want everyone else to know as well. It was refreshing to have that kind of service at a time when that is exactly what is missing in most dining experiences. The Keg needs to ensure they hire more like Chrissy. Welcome to BC Chrissy! Parking: Since a daycare took over a bar s premises several months ago, there is plenty of free parking now.

We went to The Keg tonight to celebrate buying a new house as it is our go-to location for happy occasions. As usual we were not disappointed, Nathan and Brandon treated us like visiting royalty and the food was first class.

Ive been to this Keg several times and it never disappoints. The staff are absolutely fantastic. They are always attentive and always have a great story to tell. Ive been to many other Kegs, but this one feels different. Like theyre not in a rush to get rid of you. If that makes sense? Now the food... This is the reason we come here, right? Perfectly selected steak for however you like it cooked. Always prepared just right and arranged perfectly on the plate. Whether you like garlic mashed or the twice baked like me, any side is a great option. They might have rice too, I dont know, Im a potato guy. Ive seen Cesar salad being served, so I know they have that! There is a huge menu, but I stick with steak or seafood. I recently went in with my family for Lobster Summer Best decision Ive made since having kids! The lobster dishes were incredible and no shortage of the cute little crustaceans. Lobster rolls were to die for and I got a sauce on my steak that was like a thick lobster bisque.... Oh my goodness! Im angry they dont have it year round, but Im sure my round belly can survive without. Needless to say, it was a great restaurant. Definitely recommended. I highly suggest the espresso martini too! I didnt know that was a thing, I saw one, I tried one and I kept trying until Uber showed up... Kidding, but it was tasty. Parking: Lots of parking on the same level as the restaurant Kid-friendliness: They have kids dishes, colouring menus and a vegetable tray Wheelchair accessibility: Id say at least 50% of the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Might be beneficial to call ahead and let them know. But they would absolutely accommodate a request like that.

We came out to celebrate our daughters 12th birthday. She requested for steak and lobster. This was her first time experiencing a more fancier dinner. Our waiter Jared, made it memorable for her. Especially when he brought out the compliment cake. My daughter had the biggest smile. He was kind, patience, did an amazing job for being a new waiter, and applauded to him.

The Keg is my happy place. I have never left this place unsastistifed. This is my 5-star place. Yes the price is up there but this is where I dont care cause the food is always worth it. Kid-friendliness: The littles love the kids menu! The veggie appetizer is next to nothing!

The Maple Ridge Keg in B.C. has lots of atmosphere and the young people who serve add to the ambience which makes it very relaxing while eating a well presented and very wonderfully tasty dish.

I always get prime rib from the Keg. Came here today, Prime rib came out overcooked initially. However, after I told the waiter the manager came out and brought me a fresh new cut that was of the delicious Keg quality I usually expect. Excellent service!

The steak, the ribs and the twice baked potato were delicious. The side of green beans and carrots had no salt = no flavor, fries were fine. But $13 a piece for basic cheesecake? Ridiculous.

Had the Blacken Chicken last night and it was awful! The chicken was hard and stringy, the beans were way overcooked and the meal was way overpriced! The last Keg meal I had in Abbotsford a year ago wasnt very good either. I won t be returning.

As you all know, behind the success of any Restaurant, there are (3) major factors; a) The Chef, b) The Service, c) The Price This was my first time at The Keg Steak House in Maple Ridge. Before I used to go to The Keg Restaurant in Coquitlam. I find the Food Quality and Taste is much better as comparing to CIQUITLAM branch. We ordered T Bone Steak and Prime Rib. Starters were Calamari and Caesar Salad. Dessert was Creme Brûlée. The Server named EMILY made our Dinner more enjoyable by rendering EXCELLENT SERVICE to us. Only various Sauces for the Steaks were watery and no taste? Otherwise our Dinner was enjoyable!

I had an exceptional experience on Friday, thanks to the service provided by Paul. He is the primary reason I travel one hour to visit this location, and I will continue to return because of his outstanding service. I strongly recommend considering him for a raise, as his performance and dedication make him an invaluable asset to your team.

First time at this location, got the NY striploin cooked Chicago Blue and it came out perfectly cooked!! Thank you to the amazing staff for the fantastic food and service

Service always amazing here! Peppercorn steak was $64 or so and it was very dry. I had a baseball steak and it was amazing. Caesar salad had too much anchovy taste. I love the Keg and come often tonight was a little off for the peppercorn steak :(. Likely won t order that again. But again def ice was always amazing :)

I was not satisfied with my meal compared with my last one at the Keg. It was disappointingly cold and the onions were not fresh- seemed more like the Frenchs onions you can get in a plastic container. For the price I should have had caramelized onions and/or other sides offered with my prime rib.

Weve been here a few times. Always served right away, friendly staff and meat cooked to your preference. I would say the dining room is a tad bit dark as many patrons, ourselves included, used our flashlights on our phones to see the menu. We will definitely be going back.

Food was fine. My cousin who is autistic accidentally undertipped without realizing till after the fact but how the server Derek W treated him was not okay. Will not go back if that s how you treat people. Tips aren t mandatory.

The quality of the food has gone downhill. It no longer feels like you get the quality you are clearly paying for.

This is a prime rib steak restaurant that you must visit at least once when visiting Canada. The price is not cheap, but I think its a good deal considering the quality. QSC is a chain store with stores in various locations, so its very convenient.

We are always pleased with The Keg, even when things seem to go sideways. Last night, anniversary celebration and my meal went sideways. Steak was overdone and baked potato cold. Mateo, our server addressed the issues promptly. New steak, done beautifully, blue rare. Without even asking, two cheese cakes comped. And we were not charged for my meal. I hate complaining, and was not going to ask for meal to be deducted. Manager personally made sure the new steak was done correctly. It was excellent. Such a good touch that they comped meal without me even asking. Just reaffirms this is a top notch establishment.

It was a birthday night and we did Dine Out Vancouver. Service was good and the food was actually good for a change (although I was surprised there wasnt a piece of lobster, even as a garnish for the soup). The one thing I didnt understand was, they asked when we booked if it was a special occasion, which we replied yes, a birthday. The hostess asked us this again, the person walking us to our table asked us and our waitress asked us. Why??? Its not like we were given a free drink, free meal, free dessert or someone singing happy birthday. Why was this constantly asked if its not even acknowledged. Might have rated them 5 if something had happened.

We went for Dine out Vancouver. It was nice to see full size portions used during dine out. It was $65. P/P and came with Salad, Entrée and desert. Steak is still cooked veey nicely & to your liking.

We frequent this Keg (our trusty old faithful) quite regularly as its just down the street from where we live. We decided to go to the Boat House in Port Moody for Valentines Day, just for a change. Boy was that a big mistake. For that review, check the Boathouse. Knowing we probably would not get in till quite late, I made a quick phone call to the Keg. After speaking with a manager and telling her of our experience, she quickly put us on the wait list and told us to come on in. Within 30 minutes we had a table ready for us and were seated to a fabulous meal. This Keg is consistent and welcoming and on point every time!! As I mentioned, its our trusty old faithful. Shout out to Mariah, Kailey, Brando and Kendra for turning our evening around and making it memorable. Thank You!! And I apologize if I didnt get the spelling right for your names. See you next week. Very good experience and such a lovely atmosphere

The food was excellent and the service was prompt. I had onion rings to start (which was new to the menu), prime rib, and finished off with the classic Billy Miner pie. Im stuffed.

Our server was super helpful and kind. He did a great job of checking in enough without hovering. The food was delicious and while its pricier than what Im used to spending for dinner, it was a special occasion. The food was also so delicious that it made the price worth it. In the future, I wouldve liked our calamari a bit crispier and knowing that my steak came with some vegetables. But other than that, a great experience. (This location does not do Happy Hour but it gets busy right from 4pm on the weekends)

I was a little hesitant about going as my only other trip here was absolutely horrible , but I decided it had been a few years, hopefully it would have friendly servers this time and honestly I am so glad I gave them a second chance . We went in New Year s Eve for dinner , got there at our reserved time and was immediately sat at a nice little booth for 2 . Our server Naomi was absolutely amazing , she was friendly , sweet and never made us feel rushed and even though it was crazy busy , she continued to check on us , made sure our drinks were topped up and that our food was okay and honestly the food was amazing ! I got the blackened chicken with garlic mashed potatoes , and my man got the peppercorn steak and both were cooked perfectly ! Also tried the cheesecake and Billy minor coffee for desert , also a 5/5 ! Thank you Naomi for helping make date night a success !

They think they can charge you and give you an over done $75.00 lobster, not happening with with me, I would pay $150.00 for an excellent lobster, the management is very unprofessional for such a substantial establishment.

got a 100$ gift card for my birthday at the Keg. We went to the maple ridge branch. Old, outdated. Husband asked for medium rare and steak turned out raw. The appetizers were great, however the main dish dissapointed us, and for the cost oh my goodness. my husbands steak had a giant strip of fat that was not trimmed or cut off, it was not appealing. My steak was not good, i asked for well done and it was rock hard. Service was just slow, the waitress was kind.

I got the sirloin Oscar and mushrooms Neptune, I wouldnt order either again. My wife got the teriyaki steak and it wasnt very good either. She did enjoy the creme brulle.

Spent weeks setting up a surprise birthday for my girlfriend. Set up a birthday reservation online and showed up and told the host i was there for my resevation, to which she replied oh, theres people waiting. i thanked her immediately for unnecessarily ruining the surprise. We ordered the lobster appy and got baked shrimp. I ordered the rib steak with butter and they forgot the butter and brought out a frozen brick of butter for my then warm steak. It used to be that a server got 18% as a tip or higher for really great service and now the tip amounts start at 18% for what is now an industry standard of sub par service where its expected that orders arent ever filled in correctly. The food was great. Love this location. But from the moment the hostess over shared and ruined the surprise element i was unimpressed

We only go out to dinner on special occasions and we always enjoy The Keg. We love their escargot and usually have two plates each in place of an entrée. The waiters usually never even flinch and serve the order timed perfectly. The service is attentive and friendly with lots of smiles both to customers and to each other. A genuinely nice place to spend the evening.

While the first steak I ordered was medium instead of rare, the refire by Ian was ON POINT. Single handedly best steak Ive had that someone else has cooked. Still quite red in the center, but hot, and flavour was beautiful.

Lobster and steak deal was average priced, but the lobster as you can see in photo was big, tasty, and amazing. My wifes and sons steaks were burnt on the out side and raw middle. My wife wanted med and son wanted med-rare, both were really bloody. My moms ceaser salad was dry and had to ask for more dressing on side. Waiter was good and comped the salad. Atmosphere was super dark for 630pm dinning, think it is to hide how old, run down and dirty it is. Food was its saving grace but would have been better if cooked correctly to what was ordered.

It was truly great all around. As a party of 13, the table and seating arrangement was a little awkward for my liking. But the chairs have a solid closed back rest, so my phone and wallet fit perfectly secured behind me.

Went for baked garlic shrimp which is my favorite and Bellini.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner! Our server (I want to say her name was Kim?) was bubbly, fun and all of her menu recommendations hit the mark for making our meal extra special. The pistachio salmon is to die for. Kudos to the Keg in Maple Ridge for maintaining their reputation as one of the higher end restaurants in our corner of town. The dessert that they comped for us when they found out it was our anniversary was the cherry on top to a really delicious meal and a nice evening out with my husband.

My go to is the peppercorn strip loin it is super yummy and keg size it all

Was so dark had to use flashlight to read menu. Food on plate looked like it was thrown on. Presentation was just plain ugly. Had the steak classic 6 Oz. Steak was tough. Garlic mashed pototoes were..blah. Best part of meal was the roasted vegetables. Was not worth the $100.

Food was excellent, but the service was mediocre at best. A tad too dark in our section, requiring cellphones lights to read the menus, but the intent is good. Service: Our server was pleasant, but never an offer if anyone needed more drinks, even with glasses empty. Durng the delivery of the food by a number of servers (we were a group of 8), they cleared some glasses, including a 9 oz (partially drank, but not much) glass of wine. We noticed as soon as the servers left, and immediately notified our server. She expressed doubt that the wine had been cleared. After a short discussion the server said shed bring, 3 oz of wine as a replacement... Really! Youre looking at a $600+ tab based on the size of the group, and the food/drinks ordered to that point, and our server argues over a single glass of wine! After the meal our server came with the credit card machine, and we paid the tab, including a decent tip despite the wine incident. However, we continued to visit for another 40-45 mins, but clearly we were no longer customers, and never saw any server again for any pop or water refills etc. Not a welcoming experience overall.

Classic keg, love the escargot and the Neptune stuffed mushrooms. Tried the lamb special. It was ok, not sure if it was the gravey or the lamb. There was a flavor I wasnt particularly enjoying. Would recommend the New York strip!

We had dinner last night and were served by Margaret. She gave us the best service we have had anywhere since moving to maple ridge. I was a server for 30 years and managed a restaurant for 11 years , so we wanted to thank Margaret and the kitchen staff for an amazing meal and experience.
