This is mine, and my girlfriend s favourite sushi place. The environment, service, food and consistency is impeccable

So unbelievably delicious! Will purchase from there again.

First time going here. The food was amazing, melt in our mouths fresh. The service was excellent! Weve been driving past here for a while and kept meaning to stop in. We celebrated my birthday here, and this place is now our favorite go-to. Weve tried all other sushi places in the area and have been happy with their service and their food, but after tonight, Aburiya took the lead by a land slide. Keep up the great work, and thank you for welcoming our toddler and making his night memorable, too. We will see you again soon! Kid-friendliness: Provided kid friendly plates and cups. Gifted him a special yogurt drink to help celebrate the night. We brought his bumbo chair to help him sit up at the table.

This place has lost their freshness of any dishes. I dont know what exactly change their raspy. Fish smells and too hot and salty. No recomend. Food : 3/5

We recently moved to Maple Ridge from North Van and were looking for a quality sushi spot! We shared sockeye salmon sashimi and a bunch of rolls, which were delicious The customer service was really attentive, friendly and they even gave a roll on the house ! I think we found our go to sushi spot in Maple Ridge, thanks Aburiya!

I decided to order from Aburiya as it use to be my go to sushi place in Maple Ridge. As I drove in there was litter and garbage everywhere including a used needle. As I walked up to the restaurant several rats.could be seen near the front.door. To the owners of Aburiya, have some self respect and clean up the exterior of your restaurant, I only have 1 word and thats disgusting. I will not be visiting here again until the outside is cleaned up. Oh and if you dont believe me or think Im exaggerating go have a look for yourself.

Best sushi in town

Traditional restaurant, the best sushi and most important thing is the wonderful service specially if you have kids!. Prices are reasonable.

I just had the barbie roll. It has salmon in it. God damn that was so good.

My partner and I had a lovely date night here. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The portion sizes here were a lot bigger than we were expecting so Id definitely recommend ordering less and then seeing if you need more. The specialty rolls were huge! Great value for your money compared to other sushi places. They even had gluten free soy sauce and were very helpful in letting me know what dishes contained gluten.

Open late, amazing sushi and hooked up some extra peices. Will def be back. Thanks guys!

This place is an ABSOLUTE gem in Maple Ridge! Definitely the best sushi I ve had in the lower mainland (and I go to lots of Sushi places!) The server was very nice and helpful, she was kind and provided amazing service. The food was top notch too! Would definitely recommend trying here! The staff is so kind and understanding. The sushi is outstanding and well priced, and the wait is not long at all. Easily one of my new favourite sushi restaurants, would definitely recommend.

I rarley ever write reviews but Linn is literally the nicest sever ever , and the sushi is so fresh and comes out so fast you d expect a sushi restaurant in maple ridge to be bad but this one is easily the best sushi place ive been too, and ive gone too tons 10/10 trust if yall want a genuinely cheap and good sushi place nd also stays open pretty late yall wont be disappointed

This is based on delivering orders. Foods tasted good compared to many competitors in Maple Ridge. Portion is just ok, most of dishes are small. Prepare speed is very slow. Expensive, but not bad with promotions. Overall experience were good. Based on personal experience, I would only order when the promotions are available.

The employees are so amazing, the servers deserve a raise, and we are all so sorry about our friend. We ll teach him manners.

There was a mistake with our Uber order and they went above and beyond to rectify.

Wow I just want to say what amazing people work there. They had called me to let me know that they had accidentally packaged the wrong order into my order and then they hand delivered the missing order to my door step out of their own time. They were so nice and helpful, if theres a business you should support its this one!

haven t had the pleasure of eating in yet , however when i go there it s always a very calm welcoming atmosphere, great spot for late night sushi !! and really friendly/hard working employees, June helped me (sorry if i misspelled that) great guy, Spicy Chicken Ramen is great (good packaging, keeps noodle s separate from the broth till you re ready) and cali roll always hits as a classic

The food is great but I was super disappointed that the young man packing up our order made a comment asking me how many people is this for, I replied two and he says This is alot of food for two people....Yes its also our lunch the next day! I wish I would have called him out on that rude comment right then but was shocked that someone would even make a comment like that to someone that just overtipped $20 on a $68 order Wish I had waited to pay until my order was done because the tip would be reflective of that comment! Zip your mouth on comments like that!!

Went here for dinner and unfortunately this place isnt good. It has the ambiance you could say but the sushi is tasteless. The wild salmon and even the most expensive fish were just basic. It is way overpriced and not the quality/flavor youd expect. We had a 130$ dinner for two and liked 1 roll out of the entire meal. Not worth the money! I eat a lot of sushi at different places so this is not a noob review.

Food is great here only down side, ordered my food at 4pm for pickup at 7pm but wasnt ready until 8pm maybe need a bigger kitchen or stop taking orders when its super busy

Such a nice atmosphere! Took the kids (ages 3-5) and was blown away by the service and quality. Our servers were ON IT!! Complementary appy to boot! Prices are fair for what you receive. The best sushi in maple ridge by far

Aburiya Has always been the best sushi in Maple Ridge. As well they have the best service, During the ice storm Maple Ridge had in December I thought I could make it out and pick up our order but the ice had me stuck they ended up delivering to me past the time their store was open. They really do care about their customers. As well last night we picked up another order and they also included a complimentary new Pork Katsu Burger (sandwich). It was so good I will order everytime now!

I ve been a regular Aburiya customer for many years, and the quality of the food and service has always been amazing. The Sashimi/Oshi Combo is outstanding (although they keep raising the price). I can say without hesitation, it is the best Sushi restaurant I ve dined at, and I ve dined at many. You won t be disappointed!

Fast, friendly service. The fish was fresh. The rolls were much larger than expected with lots of fish in them. Great experience.

This review is long time overdue as we ate here February 14. It was our first time and my husband wanted to try this restaurant. We were greeted warmly by the staff who were busy prepping food orders. A few moments after taking our orders we were served with a complimentary barbie roll! My son loved it and he almost finished everything! We ordered the cheese katsu which has Huge portion that we have to take out some, prawn tempura roll which was satisfying, calamares which is chewy and delish and Ramen for my husband. He was a bit disappointed as he was expecting an authentic one but its all good. As we walk out Aburiya, we are again greeted and thanked by everyone even the chef!!! Thanks for the experience!!!

Came in for a birthday celebration...food was excellent! Everything we ordered came out quickly, Ramen was super hot, rolls were very fresh, tempura and gyoza light and crunchy. Service was slow after food arrived, waitress seemed more concerned cleaning the mens washroom- which we unfortunately had a front row seat to, yet she seemed to ignore all the empty plates and we had finished. We finally were able to ask for our bill and within seconds the bill was handed to us immediately followed by the debit machine. Will definitely return for the wonderful food, maybe take out next time

Normally really good, tonight was really bad! Couldnt eat the rolls ,soggy Delivery person left the order sitting on the ground in the sun and didnt knock or anything! Really passed off Food : 2/5

Tuna Lovers Combo hit the spot! Sashimi was fresh and tender. Nigiri rice was perfectly seasoned and a nice bite. Oshi was delicious and my new fave. Staff was friendly and service quick. Prices are fair. Parking is a little tricky but worth the trouble.

I had the worst ramen in my life. I never had anything like that in a good Japanese restaurant. They make a soup with noodles and cabbage(!) and call it ramen. No eggs, green onions, baby spinach, shallots, ginger root, nori or spring onions. It tasted like those cheap noodles you buy at grocery stores. Their other food was ok but the ramen was a huge disappointment. Sushi Umibe has a much better ramen in my experience.

When our Uber driver didnt deliver our order, we had to reorder our order...the staff were amazing at contacting Uber Support for us, and threw in a few extra items for us. Would highly recommend to anyone. Their food is always fresh.

Ordered UberEats from here and it was super delicious! We had: - Ahi tuna avocado salad (4/5, yummy but imo pretty pricey. pictured is the full size order which was $24+) - Spicy salmon roll (5/5, my favourite thing that we ordered! Super worth it too, because there was a buy one get one deal) - Katsu don (4/5, not pictured. Delicious but portion was small - very small amount of rice came with it) - Tuna and salmon sashimi (5/5, also quite pricey, not pictured) They were also so kind and sent along complimentary salmon sashimi and miso soup, which is what bumped my review up to a 5 stars! Also really appreciated that they gave the ginger SEPARATELY from the sushi - as someone who doesn t love ginger, this was fantastic. Overall pricey, but the quality & complimentary food made it much better. Would love to try this place in person one day!

Me and my mom dined in and had the best experience! Not only was the manager/chef kind and welcoming, but he served us and even created a new roll for my mom (she was craving a roll that was not on their menu) he made it himself, and it was so tasty!! He even brought out complementary oshi! Hands down our fav restaraunt because of the people and it s only a benefit that the food is incredible!! My husband and I come here regularly because of the incredible service, we feel cared for and our bellies are always happy

SO GOOD!!! This is the BEST sushi place you will ever find. Super fresh sushi. Huge portions. I literally order every weekend. Sometimes twice. The waiters actually know my order now, I dont even have to ask, the staff is super nice and knowledgeable and care enough to remember your order. What I recommend: Spicy Chicken Karage Bowl and you cannot beat the price of their lunch plates for super fresh sushi and large portion (feeds 2) What I dont recommend: Chicken Yakissoba and Ramen.

We moved to Maple Ridge a few years ago and tried a few different Sushi spots but once we found Aburiya this is our only Sushi spot! We love their beef teriyaki rolls and their yam tempura rolls!! They also have a delicious appetiser of pan seared scallops which is so so tasty! The staff is always so friendly and fast I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Ramen was less than stellar, almost seemed like it was from an instant pack and was only able to choose from mild/spicy. True ramen dont have those choices... More like shoyu, etc etc.. Also had the big combo - choose from 5... Decent price, decent portions. Staff was friendly...

I hate giving bad reviews...but unfortunately this was the most underwhelming sushi I ever had at a restaurant. Cheap ingredients, over-expensive and they substituted cream cheese for a weird salad dressing (?). I honestly wonder whether they had stock issues and ordered sushi from Superstore because thats what the quality reminded me of. It was nice to reminisce about sushi I had in high school, but I was anticipating a different, more refined experience.

I ordered aburi set and beef aburi sushi was really good as well as other sushi also lunch set was reasonably priced and comes with generous portions. When I went there, it was little quite. Highly recommend this cozy neighborhood restaurant ! Also good luck with new management team

Went here this past Friday night for a birthday dinner and they knocked it out of the park! The food was excellent quality and the service was five star. Although food prices has gone up everywhere, we did not find the slight increase here to be an issue. Certainly worth it given the quality of the food. We became aware that there is new owners as of July have they seem to be continuing, if not exceeding, the previous Aburiya ownership. Will definitely go again.

Ordered chef choice sashimi for $59.99. Usually sushi chefs take pride in their chef choice, but not this one. The only fish included was the tuna and salmon. Will not go back.

We dined in to celebrate an occasion with our friends and we had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was presented beautifully and tasted very good. The servers treated us very kindly and were nice to talk to. Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants I have been to and will come to eat again!

I was surprised that the sashimi smelled so fishy and wasnt fresh. Sushi is not fresh and their sashimi smells terrible. I think they use very old and bad ingredients for their cook. I would never order here ever again in my life.

Some of the best sushi I ve ever had. The spicy tuna, was the spiciest I ve ever had, and was was a bit too much for me, but that fact has no bearing on the quality of food or service.

Lunch boxes here have the best selection compared to traditional bento boxes. You can pick and choose between numerous rolls, appetizers, and mains. Atmosphere inside is good and booths are private and cozy

What the heck did I just get. Ordered tempura and chicken teriyaki. No taste and I could have made it myself. Cold and over cooked on arrival. Will never order again. Honestly had to throw it out.....

Not your typical sushi restaurant. I find their dishes taste fresher and are healthier than other local restaurants. Their salmon teriyaki is superb. I loved that they put the teriyaki sauce on the side and it came with brown rice.

This is our go to sushi place in Maple Ridge. Reliable taste and quality, reasonably priced, and close to home. We usually stick to picking from the same items - Crazy boy roll, Victoria roll, Miso Soup, Katsu donburi, spicy chicken karaage bowl, tempura, gyoza - as the few times we ventured, we were not as impressed. And they have forgotten chopsticks or soy sauce on occasion so remember to double check if doing take out.

Presentation is 10/10 and the fish is great, but the sushi rice recipe needs to be rethought. It tastes.. like lemons?? Just go back to basic sushi rice and this place would be a hit. Go a little further and this place could be a destination sushi spot. Peace and love

Best place to get sushi

Was quite disappointed by food quality. Beef ramen turned out to be plain beef stock with noodles and few slices of beef. No taste whatsoever. Gyoza were burned on one side. Tuna sushi felt like the fish was frozen before. I wont recommend it.
