Beautiful, best yakisoba Ive ever had. The sushi is great and unique, missing some staples like ika nigiri but has some great rolls and interesting rolls like Peppa pig roll. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: Has a lot of cute rolls.

I ordered a meal the sushi was served warm and very loose and mooshy it lacked proper texture it was disgusting you just dont serve sushi all warm.The chicken teriyaki was completely tasteless they just boiled the chicken and put teriyaki sauce on top the food is thrown together fast just to take your money they dont have cooking experience and the prices arent reasonable I wouldnt recommend this restaurant at all

Service was a little slow. Had to wait 15 minutes past pick up time. I think they may have been understaffed for a Thursday.

The staff are very friendly and the establishment is clean. They have some tasty fusion rolls and I would happily recommend this restaurant.

Main thing is food is good. Price is fair like any other Japanese restaurant. Only thing that I didnt like was the prison serving trays. They were aluminum molded trays like you would find in prison. I hope they replace those for decent plates. Took a little longer than normal for getting food but understandable because they are pretty busy. Service was good. I would go back again but hopefully by then they will have proper serving trays or plates.

Love the menu options and that it has lot of special vegeterian rolls too and great service! We have done a few take outs and dine in as well! Vegetarian options: special vegeterian section in the menu and most delicious too.

Good sushi, great price, huge rolls. We were the only ones in there for lunch, food took a bit longer than expected but was worth it. Boss asked where wed been all day when we got back.

My friends who live in maple ridge took us here. This is their go to sushi joint! Very small location, can maybe fit 20 ppl max. The decor inside has a lot of character! Lots of trinkets. We came Sunday evening and it was very busy. One server and maybe one chef? Again this is a very small place. Their portions are big. Giving 4/5 on food because one dish (donburi?) wasnt seasoned at all. Chicken very bland. This is a photo of their beef udon soup. It was huge!!! $15? Loaded on veggies and good soup. Other than that, good experience and would recommend.

I have lived in Maple Ridge for 30 years and used to have to head towards Vancouver for great sushi. I am so happy to say that the most delicious sushi place is right here in town! I get the fusion or baked rolls most of the time! While the restaurant is small, it is full of character! The staff is so friendly and wonderful, this place is my absolute favourite! Why are you still reading this? Go order some Maple Sushi, you silly goose!

Very interesting vibe. The food is top notch. Better than most local Japanese I have had and very authentic flavors. The service was not very attentive due to an influx of take out orders. It wasn t a very comfortable dining experience with the chill from the door and the absent servers, but the food is worth going back. I think in the future we will stick with take out orders.

We didnt wait very long, in spite of a few skip the dishes coming and going for orders. If you are looking for a casual dining experience, I highly recommend going here.

Good taste compare to other competitors in Maple Ridge. Overall food is fresh, however, the scallop is not fresh most of the time!! Online order available, but used to take an hour average. Noodles are pretty good with the price!!! Credit cards accepted. Located at downtown Maple Ridge.

I ordered this chicken donburi. The chicken cutlet is a bit thin. I would expect more meat for a 14$ meal. The portion is large but too much rice for one person, maybe I am Asian with a small stomach. My advise is either to reduce the amount of rice to lower down the price a bit or to add more meat to maintain the same price. Sorry to be a picky customer. :)

Such a great place!! We ordered through Uber Eats tonight for my birthday and the driver delivered it to another address. We called Maple Sushi just to get some more info. We ended up ordering it again because that s all I wanted! They sent us a free roll even though it wasn t their fault at all!! Such great sushi too!

Our first time ordering from Maple Sushi and it was okay. The staff were really friendly on the phone when we were placing our order! The tempura, gyozas, and drunken monkey roll were really good, but the rest was really lacking in flavour. This included several items: - beef teriyaki bento box (again, tempura in this was good, but the beef teriyaki and california roll were just okay) - sashimi bento box (salmon sashimi was good, but california roll didn t have much flavour and the tuna sashimi tasted off) - dynamite roll with no fish eggs (i even added spicy mayo, but there wasn t much flavour to that either) - beef and chicken teriyaki rolls (these had absolutely no flavour at all; the chicken and beef were both dry with no teriyaki sauce on them, and absolutely no seasoning) While it was our first time trying Maple Sushi, these are all items we order whenever we get sushi and have been really great from several other sushi restaurants we ve tried. Unfortunately for the amount we paid for our order (around $85), the food was not worth it. We won t be ordering from here again.

One of my top sushi places in the lower mainland, everything on the menu is tasty, fresh and flavorful. Service is always super friendly and I look forward to my next visit, every time! So happy this restaurant is local in Maple ridge

The yam tempura was 10/10 but the rolls I ordered were a 1/10 so I gave two stars. My spicy salmon roll was brown and not spicy and the deep fried California roll was deep fried in something else than tempura batter and was yucky. I m new to Maple Ridge so this is hard as so far I m 0 for 2 out of the sushi places I ve tried so far. Also I ordered 2 miso soups, was told one was free and then only got one so my kids were unhappy about that.

The food is good, no doubt. However despite ordering many times we have yet to order and receive our food in anything that resembles a reasonable amount of time! THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME. Today we pre-ordered 2hrs in advance and are STILL waiting 1hr and 10mins after the scheduled delivery time. The rest of the family have eaten and finished their food which arrived on time from other establishments. if you order from here, be prepared to wait an undetermined amount of time, despite what they tell you. I dont mind if you tell me its going to be 45mins or an hour or whatever, Ill plan around that time. But thats not what happens. Youll be reassured the food is imminent despite the fact that its not. WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH AND WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN

One of the better sushi places in Maple Ridge. Good sushi that doesnt overdo the cheap fillers. Prices are reasonable too. Theyre super busy at dinner time so the wait is usually longer than they predict. Thats good proof of how good they are though.

Really enjoyed the flavour they made there. Had something the name is a lost for me, but it definitely was bacon inside the sushi roll, aesthetically one would not believe it taste above and beyond, but I swear this was a treat.

Volcano sushi is good

Their employees are very rude. I saw many times their attitudes to the customers, and there is no respect from for customers. They cant manage five order to be prepared, and taking so long to prepare the orders. Hopefully they are going to change their employees.

Have had pickup a few times. They will not do California rolls without mayo, which is a shame. But the Dynamite roll is excellent. Tempura and noodles are good.

Good sushi

Convenient location with really good, fresh sushi. The vegetable tempura was an extremely generous serving and light, crispy and not greasy. The fitness roll was excellent and the crispy yam was the perfect topping. The only disappointment was the styrofoam containers.

I used to eat here a lot when I lived in Maple Ridge, They have a wide selection of vegetarian rolls and many of them are really good! They were very accommodating with payment and delivery when I was doing a mandatory quarantine. They also put my sauce on the side when I ask (seems like a small thing, but not all places remember to do it). Also when they first opened, I went there a few times and they gave me a free sample of a new menu item, which I really appreciated. Sometimes the service is a bit slow, but the staff is kind and the food is great! Highly recommend.

Also inside, they have the cutest art up, it s designed in such a fun way that it makes it an entire experience dining in :) the host was so cute and friendly also, they are super welcoming and amazing! Was craving some sushi but didnt want to go out because of all the self-isolation thing, so we ordered through Skip the Dishes. Sushi came fresh and the gyoza and yakisoba were still hot, and as a bonus, they threw in a free Fat Elvis for us! What a pleasant surprise!

Ordered pickup, was told to come in 45 minutes. Arrived 45 minutes later and waited another 30 minutes. After finally home I open the bag and they forgot to include the Miso I ordered. I guess they dont put the miso on the order receipt because its complementary? Worth trying once but I wouldnt go back until I had tried the other restaurants in town.

There must have been a mistake; I paid $10 for a lunch bento box and got $20 worth of food. I could barely finish it. Recommended.

Absolutely poor treatment. Nice to your face and goes to the back and speaks so loudly that the customers can hear her complaining about you. Accused me of not ordering edamame beans over the phone. I called them *edamame bean and chuckled on the phone. Dont accuse and just apologize for the miss communication and move forward.. basic customer service skills.

I was very impressed with my first visit to Maple Sushi. The rolls were so fresh and flavourful, the jasmine green tea was perfectly brewed by french press and the service was so friendly and on-point. I would definitely eat there again.

First time we tried this place. I love Bento boxes and they had them all day long! Very good prices. There was so much food and it was so fresh and still steaming by the time I could go back and forth to try all my food. The service was exceptional! Such nice staff. We think this could be our number one go to sushi place after this experience. Oh! And, not to mention their fresh brewed complimentary tea was a cherry on the top.
