Really good sushi. A lot of gluten free options labeled clearly on the menu like rolls, spicy chicken, and teriyakis among many others. Its hard to find a sushi place with more gluten free options than wasabi.

Food was really good! So nice to had gluten free options The service on the other hand wasn t that great took 20 minutes for someone to come check and then had to ask for a water and tea. Had hot sauce splashed all over me and in my eye, server apologized but nothing else was done about it. Dietary restrictions: Great gf options!

Wanted to try a different sushi spot near my place, what a disappointment. I love sashimi but the order I got here was stringy and barely edible. I had to dissect it to avoid gagging on it, but probably should have just sent it back. I definitely will not be returning!

Great place to go if you have a gluten intolerance! There is a whole gluten free menu section and they have gluten free soy sauce. Awesome service and the portions for the rolls are huge. I couldnt even finish two rolls with my veggie sunomono. Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free menu options

Wasabi is amazing. I have celiac disease and they give me a safe opportunity to enjoy sushi like I did before I was diagnosed. I ve gone about 4-5 times and it is going to become a weekly stop for me. Taste is 10/10 and staff is super friendly!

unseasoned, mushy and warm rice. admittedly we went quite early. service was extremely prompt though. toro was not good, but not egregious. shame since when we move to maple ridge ten uears ago it was excelllent. no longer

So great to be able to have sushi again as Wasabi has a gluten free menu. We mostly do take out and they package up gluten free soy sauce and label it even. The food is delicious too! If your looking for gluten free options definitely give it a try.

Always our go-to place. Best Spicy Tuna roll. We have been going here since we have moved to Maple Ridge, almost 8 years and the consistency and quality have never wavered. Yes the prices have gone up but that is expected over time.

They charge $6.75 for literally 2 bites of gomae it s practically stealing. After nicely confronting the restaurant about this (we thought this must have been a mistake), we were informed that they purposely portioned and priced it that way. Do not order from this restaurant it s a total rip off.

I have eaten at Wasabi sushi twice and have been really impressed both times! The staff are absolutely lovely. They make fantastic GF sushi that is not only safe, but delicious! Its such a treat to have gyoza, agedashi, gomae, and teriyaki. The restaurant is spotless, has comfortable seating, and a nice atmosphere. I wish I lived closer! Tuna sashimi had some kind of blood spots in it or something. Probably harmless but it grossed me out and I couldnt finish eating it. Had to eat in my car because indoor dining is still closed although they are allowed to have dine in, they also arent letting people use the washroom still.

Wasabi has a gluten free menu, and gf soy sauce as well. The gluten free items are prepared in a separate kitchen, now thats caring for your customer. The sashimi was divine, as were the rolls. The sushi rice was fresh and delicate. Thank you for a lovely meal, well be back.

We live in Surrey and make the drive out to Maple Ridge every time we are craving sushi. My wife and I are sushi lovers and know when we have found an establishment that is fresh and that takes care of the presentation and overall experience. This is the best sushi place in Maple Ridge hands down. Clean, fresh and quaint. The staff is amazing and the head chef is extremely friendly and grateful for patrons coming into the restaurant. As soon as skip the dishes reaches our area in Rock Ridge we will be dining on a more regular basis. 10 stars!!!!!!

Wasabi is my go to for delicious Japanese food. We dont live in Maple Ridge any more, but when we are in town we always try and stop. The people working there are always nice and provide quick service. The food is consistent. The chicken teriyaki donburi is my favorite. Wasabi is worth a shot for your next family takeaway meal!

This was my first time ordering from wasabi and I was terribly disappointed. I ordered a California and dynamite roll and a California roll which includes An imitation crab mixture was so incredibly dry and the dynamite roll was awful as well. I will never order from there ever again

Absolutely delicious and fresh - our family favourite is the yakisoba noodles - extremely generous portion that feeds 2 easily. Tempura yams & sushi are favourites as well - plus the service is always east and so friendly!! We stop here regularly and highly recommend giving it a try if you haven t yet! It s been consistently perfect every time we ve ordered!

I have driven from burnaby many times to enjoy their sushi. its always fresh and delicious! Im so thankful they do gluten free - I have a wheat allergy and they have NEVER made me sick in what has to be close to 100 orders

I ordered 2 teriyaki box which includes chicken teriyaki, rice, California roll, and tempura for 13.95 each. I got home and they only gave us chicken teriyaki and rice and charged us 14.25 each. When we called to correct they refused to reimburse our food and tried to get us to pay MORE for the food we were missing despite how it was their mistake. Horrible customer service. Never coming again.

Used to love this place. The food is always amazing but only go if you have A LOT of time to kill. Unfortunately the service has gone downhill. The last time we went we were there for 2+ hours.

Never even got a chance to try their food. Once we sat we were completely ignored without even a drink order with only 2 other small parties. Horrible experience

Good boxes for both lunch and dinner. I like variety and I appreciate them having a sashimi dinner box. A good way to get an assortment of delicious food for one without having to order a bunch of separate items. Yum.

Food is good but service is slow. No falt of the server just not enough staff. One person has to wait on tables, attend the till and all the take out. We were regulars and stopped coming because of this for few months and just thought we would try again but no improvement.

I was hoping for better after seeing the high rating on Skip the Dishes for this place. The rolls were barely holding together in the box and fell apart when we tried to pick them up and the flavours were kind of ok, but mostly meh -- nothing in the sushi or sashimi we ordered stood out as something wed want to try again. Wont be ordering from here a second time.

The best place around. I drive an hour round trip just to eat here on regular basis. Their gluten free menu has been a treasure for myself and my girl friend who is celiac. Anyone who knows someone or is celiac themselves will know hoe frustrating it is to find great food that is actually gluten free. Been here many times and I am always impressed. I have tried literally hundreds of suhsi places from Vancouver to Abbotsford and this one takes the cake. Never an issue... What more do you need to hear?

I have been a regular at Wasabi since it opened. The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly and the vibe of the space is great! I love that they change the music up over the day. The spicy chicken is to die for.

The food was good, but they messed up my order. There was no rice in our teryaki.. I paid for extra rice and I only got the extra rice but not the rice that comes with the dish. I called them and they said they would give me extra rice next time, I wont be going back. The portion of the extra rice I found was also super small in comparison to other places like Shinobi. Most places also include miso soup with the order, I dont know if its just not included or they forgot it as well, either way, not impressed. Im not saying this place is terrible but first impressions are big, I wont be going back.

We love this place. Comfortable private booths.. service is always very friendly and you are greeted by the owner and chef upon arrival... good wine for a sushi place at a very good price. In a competitive market (and weve tried em all) this place is a cut above the rest.

I go to Wasabi often with my girlfriend, and we both love it. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The Twisted California roll, and the Heart attack are two of my personal favourites, along with the Salmon Tempura. The portion sizes are quite nice, and the environment is nice. 5 Stars!

Its not a big Japanese restaurant, but the food is pretty authentic, especially the udon noodles.

I was a regular customer there for over a month until the first time I returned some bad food to the kitchen. The owner freaked out and wanted me to pay for it anyway. He said he didnt care if I came back or not. Maybe someone should inform him that the customers ARE his business. Ill never go back. Terrible service.

I finally found this place after having some bad sushi at 2 other places in town. The housemade spicy agadashi sauce and gyoza sauce is SO tasty that I always have to order extra. This place is my treat whenever I want something really good.

Classy. Very clean. Clean washroom. Good interior. Convenient parking. It is the only decent sushi place in Maple Ridge. Other sushi places in Maple Ridge have dated cheap plastic interior and dirty wash rooms. Wasabis washroom is clean. They have monthly fresh magazines ( not junk mail) for reading while you waiting for your order. Sometimes service is slow, when the place is busy.

LOVE this place!! Staff is super friendly and service is quick. I have Celiac Disease and they have an extensive gluten free menu, so many choices!! I have eaten there many times and have always enjoyed the dishes I ordered and never once had a problem with gluten cross contamination with my food. This is my go to Sushi place.

After my regular sushi place got a little stagnant I tried Wasabi and I think its one of the classiest and best tasting sushi places in Maple Ridge.

My partner and I have eaten at Wasabi 5 or 6 times, and the food is always great and the service is flawless. When ordering freshly created food, one might expect a wait. Also, to the man who criticized every aspect of this restaurant.....making negative and stereotypical comments about the homeless, nothing else you say means a thing.

Ive been there four times just because I was in the area and I didnt noticed any other Japanese restaurant around. First time I went in with my family and I enjoyed the service and the food. Then the second time I invited a friend there after some rough adventures, we were dressed like some homeless...the restaurant service was poor at that time, the food was ok. Yesterday I went in there, the place had no customers, we thought that is unusual for a Saturday evening... I didnt shave for a week ( in sales there are signs to distinguish the customers: the guy has expensive shoes and watch, or the lady has an expensive brand-name purse, a sign for buying power or a big tip) then besides the poor service, my wife got half the amount of food we expected for the price, so we left the place hungry. The next day we went to .... Sushi in New Westminster, I ordered exact same menu to be able to compare and I realized why I am not going to go back to Wasaby sushi. At ..... Sushi, regardless my appearance, I am getting a good food and service all the times. Also, I sat beside the cooking area, lucky enough to see if the place is clean or not
