Got two chicken burgers. It was ok, mediocre, nothing special. I had higher expectations but it was underwhelming. It was just like any other fast food joint. I would like to at least try their fried chicken and give that a go and see.

I had a very bad experience here, I went back after my first visit when they just opened up, and the fried chicken was cooked and all pink inside and the Sandwich was very dry and chewy like plastic. They dont even turn on the heater. Only one person was working and he was in charge of everything. I think they should improve their service and the quality of their food items otherwise this business will fail

Jaspreet is very nice. She welcomed us with a big smile. We are definitely coming back! The biscuit were soft and warm.

The stale coleslaw was disappointing and had to be discarded immediately, indicating a possible lapse in food quality or freshness. Additionally, the fried chicken did not meet expectations, we feel other places are better. We did takeout and were not provided with any napkins. Despite these issues, the grilled chicken and tandoori fries stood out as enjoyable and probably better items on the menu.

We ve seen the ChickQueen sign for a few months while it was under renovations but finally got a chance to try it for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The grilled chicken was so tender and the spice level was just right. The tandoori fries were crispy and spicy and overall delicious! But what made the experience top notch was the staff. They made me feel welcomed and we had a wonderful conversation about our different backgrounds and cultures. We will definitely be coming back and trying the other menu items!!

Never heard this name before. First visit here, Grilled chicken is the best. Better than Nandos and some other Peruvian or grilled restaurants nearby. Very well marinated and cooked. Generous on the portions. But the chick pop was too dry and also they dont provide any sauce with any of their items.

Don t recommend you to eat at this place. Not satisfied at all. Very bad service, after waiting for more than 20 minutes to get our order, the food was completely cold. The fries tasted very bad as well. The restaurant is very cold and the fire alarm went off for more than 5 times in few minutes!!! Food

We ordered the double double meal. Both sandwiches were clearly one as the chicken was completely dried out. Same with the fries. The only thing that was decent were the tenders since they were made fresh. Why serve chicken that has clearly been sitting out under a hot light for so long?

The premise: My family was very excited to checkout this new chicken fast food place that originated with Middle East and South Asian spices. It was advertised on Instagram with 10% off. The store: Easy to find however there arent clear lines to indicate parking spots. Place was clean and there were a little over a dozen people waiting for their food. After ordering, there was smoke and a spicy aroma coming from the kitchen. It definitely hit the nose hard as few other customers were coughing as a result. The service: The person who took our order was not very clear about additional charges for Chicken breast & thigh pieces. She was impatient, unclear and did not know what the 4X4 was. Also if I did not indicate the 10% promotion it wouldnt have been applied. Others people who ordered after us got their food first. From ordering to pick up it was about 35 minutes. Accurate they were not! They need to triple check the order as the person already called out my receipt number without bagging the entire order. After another 10 minutes, they put it in a bag, at least so I thought. When I got home the tenders were missing so drove to picked it up, more time wasted! The amount for the 10% discount wasnt worth the gas going back & fourth. The order: 4x4 VARARIETY PACK, Upgraded to Poutine Upgraded to Onion Rings Added ChickPop. The food: Fried Chicken, crispy however overly salty, size is about the same as KFC on the small end. Grilled Chicken, spicy and not for kids! Found out the hard way. Tenders, crispy well battered not dry, decent size. Onion Rings, crunchy good balance of batter & onion. Poutine, very small container for what was paid definitely not good value, thinking of the small plastic containers from Popeyes mash potatoes Tandoori Fries, fries with a Cajun mix, decent portion for individual size Macaroni Salad, decent but very small for individual size, about 1 & 1/4 teaspoons each for 4 people. (Yes 5 teaspoons full) ChickPop, tasty however very small container for the price, think of 1/2 the size Harveys small fries. My family and I was dehydrated for the reminder of the evening. Overall, disappointment! From the lack of knowledge from the staff, weak exhaust system, unclear spice levels, aka their Grilled Chicken. (Does that seem reasonable?) Unclear signage, fast food this is definitely not, missed ordered items, and on top of that owner/manager did not seem authentic in their apologies for all the inconvenience nor did they try to make it right. This is the first negative review I would give from the experince. I definitely not recommend by any means, they seem very dishonest. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. You have been warned The other Chicken establishments have nothing to worry about as they are not a threat to take your customers.

Bad, not worth it, it looks nothing close to what its shown on the menu photo. If you think McDonalds actual meal to menu photo is bad, this place trumps McDonalds at being worse. If you want tandoori flavor chicken there are tons of better places just minutes away. If you want real Fried Chicken, youre better off with Popeye / KFC at least their portion sizes are worth what you paid for. I purchased a family meal for 4, and the sides was not even enough for 1 person. Doing this kind of lousy business on your first opening week its business suicide.

One of the worst fried chicken I ever had, I got the Classic Bucket which comes with 6 pcs of fried drumsticks and tights and 4 pcs of tenders, fries and a little box of whatever that s was! Paid $44.xx plus tax for it! it was a complete rip off, and the chicken was so dry and old, completely black inside, I had to dump half of it in the garbage, I mean you are charging so much money for pieces of dried old chicken? I will not come here ever again. People, don t say I didn t warn you.

Walked in, asked for 6 pieces dark meat, wanted to charge me $24 plus tax At first the cashier tried to sell me a combo, I insisted I just wanted chicken, cashier started to become confused, After that, seems like a manager came out and told me they don t do just chicken only.. But I told them I don t eat fries, mashed potatoes, or macaroni.. Manager finally gave me price or $24 plus tax for 6 pieces dark meat chicken. I told them to cancel it, they literally turned their back against me and started doing other stuff immediately.

I used to come here, when Tom s burgers was around at this location. I decided to give chick queen a try, and I m glad that I did. Jaspreet provided excellent customer service, and the interior is clean and welcoming. I had the tandoori chicken combo, with mashed potatoes, and an orange Fanta. The food was great overall, and they have some good options, for spice lovers like myself. The prices aren t even that bad as well, and the chicken sandwich combos compete with a McDonald s Big Mac combo. I d rather come here for a sandwich combo, if anything. Overall, I ll definitely be back to try out the other menu items.

Honestly not sure what the other reviewers are eating. Ordered the 4x4 (fried, grilled) to try everything and a tandoori chicken sandwich. The walk in order took over 35 mins and would have been longer if I didnt go up to tje counter. The guy at the front didnt even remember my order when I was one of maybe 3 people to have entered the place in the time I was there. (They could have been busy with take out, but I think the staff was busy chit chatting) because the we make it all fresh so its going to take longer was definitely not the truth. The whole order was cold, dry or stale. Fried chicken - good flavor, chicken was dry and cold, there was no crisp it was just hard. 1/5 much better fried chicken places in the area. Chicken fingers- decent, but suffered the same problem. Cold and dry. On top of that for this specific combo, sauces are extra cost. Grilled chicken - good, flavor and probably the best part of the meal, cold and dry again. But much better places for Indian spiced grilled chicken in the area as well. All the sides, either from pre-made tubs or cold and stale (coleslaw, fries) Tandoori chicken sandwich, they actually forgot this part of my order until I went up to ask about the status of the order. Rushed to make the sandwich, but somehow the sandwich arrived cold as well. I honestly do not think I would have been called at all if I didnt check on the status of the order. Over all the service was bad, food bad and price way too high for what you get. Wont go again, and would not recommend it, most of the people that we ate with also would not try this place again. I would 100% avoid it. *adding since owner replied* I wont contact you, dont need compensation or a any fix, prepping your business to reflect well is different than being good to any/all clients on every order. Ill commit to randomly ordering from this place one time in the next month and seen if its a repeat experience. Order was done here, I live 5 mins away from the place, I ordered Sept 8th later afternoon so if 5 minutes from pick up is all that it takes for food to go from fresh to cold... I loved their burgers and chicken! Everything was great and the staff were really nice as well.

We order bucket chicken combo, all spicy chicken and tenders but we got mixed chicken . And instead of tandoori fries we got regular fries.

Overall food was amazing and the service was really really impresive. I enjoyed a lot. Highly recommended to everyone

I went there to try it on the first day and was very disappointed with the service because of all the things they got wrong. I ordered the 4x4 variety pack for take out and paid extra to replace the drumstick and chicken wings for breast and thigh pieces (see receipt). When I got home and opened the box there were TWO CHICKEN WING pieces in the box so I paid extra to get more of the pieces I didn t want!!!! They also forgot to give me the 4 chicken tenders that comes with the meal after reassuring me it was inside the box. Finally, to top things off, guess what I got got for my grilled chicken? One piece of chicken breast and THREE DRUMSTICKS!!! I mean come on!!! In summary, they charged me extra for breast and thigh that they never gave me, they left out my chicken tenders completely and they gave me 3 grilled drumsticks for what was supposed to be a mix of different pieces. Oh, and I waited for 30 minutes for them to fulfill my order. Overall a terrible experience.

Tried the double crunch sandwich , chicken was bland no seasoning. The breast was dry and no flavour in sauce . The bun seem overcooked on one side and undercooked in other. Definitely other better chicken sandwich in Markham compared to here. Sandwiches feel overpriced compared to other places.

The fact that they opened just the other day and the service/speed/ food was great! Will come back again

I went there on its opening day and despite being busy, the customer service was top notch! The food and specially the tandoori chicken burger was really flavourful! Highly recommended!

I was little hesitant going into chickqueen as it s my first time trying out their food. I don t usually write reviews for restaurants. But Holy! The chicken was soo crunchy and yet so juicy. My favourite item was the chicken burgers! This place has potential to become soo big. The services was excellent as well. Whoever is reading this yall should definitely give this one a try. Absolutely worth it!!

I ordered 2 piece chicken and a royal crunchy sandwich, it was freshly made and was very juicy. I have been to other locations of Chickqueen the quality is the same though out. Service was very friendly. Highly recommended it.

Had a chance to go on the openning day for this location. I have to say with the number of people lined up and how quick the service was, I was very much surprised. I placed a big order and everything was perfect. Got the burgers, fried and grilled chicken, the chicken was juicy and crispy. Will be taking pics of the food next time we visit, kids devoured the food before I could get to it. Definitely give this location a try!

Fried chicken pieces Combo ($12.99) were too dry outside but juicy inside-although I did see some blood oozing from the meat. Tasted like some unknown Indian spices. For me, it wasn t as good as Jollibee or Popeyes. The chicken pieces were also smaller.

One of the worst fried chicken I ever had, I got the 4 pieces spicy 16.99 fries and a drink l, it was a complete rip off, and the chicken was so dry, I mean you are charging so much money and you can t even cook a piece of chicken. I will not come here ever again, learn how to cook fried chicken.

Oh so good, I ve been waiting for this place to be open for such a long time worth the wait.
