This is a no fuss HK cafe, very simple, not pretentious, many items to choose from, good price point. It’s nothing fancy. But it got everything u want for at a HK cafe. Service is quick but don’t expect too much.
My go to place for take out for the family. HK breakfast menu ... my fave is their Chinese style French Toast, Egg and Corn Beef Sandwich on thick bread no crust!! Plus classic Chinese noodles and Rice dishes. Also love their baked Portuguese Chicken Casserole dish and Fried Chicken Wings. Hai Nan Chicken and Rice combo a really good deal $13.95 too. Combos come with drinks HK Coffee, Milk Tea or Lemon Tea Lots of variety here. Gets very busy on weekends!!
Nice little HK Cafe that has been in the neighbourhood forever. Has a large menu of typical HK Cafe meals that are usually pretty solid overall. Service can be pretty hit or miss. I remember coming here 10 years ago and service wasn't good, meanwhile this time service was great and everyone there was very nice. Also have some TVs in there showing Chinese news channels. Cleanliness of the place is always a little suspect. But considering how long it has been here and the consistent popularity of the place over that time, it has done pretty well for itself.
First time to this restaurant. Great food and efficient staff. It's actually quite crowded. However, the turn over is quick. Waiting time is less than 5 minutes. We had pork knuckle noodle, the texture of the noodle was excellent, knuckle was tender n tasty. Perfect broth. The fish rice noodle was well prepared. Very delicious. I'm sure will go back again. Lunch meal is very affordable range from $10-15, with soup, the main course n free milk tea n coffee.
I'm surprised I never reviewed this place even though I go so often! Classic HK style dishes and authentic feeling staff and patrons, feels like I'm back in Asia. Their dinner menu with rice and dishes are done quite well. Fairly priced and tastes pretty good. I give them 8/10!
Been here a few times now. Super affordable place. No frills. Menu is limited. Overall good place for a super quick and non fussy bite to eat. I don't really find the food super flavourful though tbh. Overall, I only come when my friend wants to. I would recommend this place if you want a super cheap bite to eat.
another Hong Kong style cafe with a lot of menu items. They also have dish combos options for takeout. Waitress is very fast and friendly, inside vibes are live and cozy. Price is very reasonable as well. Will come back for more menu items
Came here for the first time. Ordered the fried chicken leg on west fries rice. It was pretty delicious. The waiters and waitresses are pretty jokes. Didn't like sharing the table though with randos. We had 4 ppl.
Cheap food, fast service, good price. Very satisfying!
Food was acceptable but.. BUT.. BUT very very poor service! The floor staff were not friendly at all! Poor service to our table, and also not nice to the table right next to us, where there was a seating of 4 high school kids eating out together, the staff talked to these kids like they didn t have enough money to tip her kind of attitude. And, she combined our take out order with the dine in order together on one bill, just for getting more tips! I wouldn t give this restaurant a full STAR in service at all if there was an option.
was about to step in but a guy was inside with a lit cigarette coming out. probably the owner, guy with white hair. what a waste.
HK milk tea is bad not rich and smooth and warm only not hot! . owner knows famous radio tv artists that real estate man Mr.ATV Hong Kong To Ting Ho Derek helped the restaurant advertised their food because their business is going down hill . we went tried and was bad very bad! So Hong Kongers downfall in trap. Hainanese chicken rice the rice is warm to cold and not fully cooked the rice still hard and dam oily! I had diarrea when back. A torture! I suspect the kitchen handling food isnot cleaned!
Had a baked fish over rice in white sauce, it was pretty bad. Fish wasn t a grouper for sure. Rice was cooked unevenly. White sauce was bland and unflavored.
We came here because it was the only restaurant in the area that didnt have a wait line. I understand why. The service was subpar. The servers were really slow. The restaurant was only about 1/4 full, but our dishes took a very long time to come out. The quality of the dishes was 3/5. I would not come back again and rather wait an hour to eat somewhere else
Taxes should be collected, but not having an official receipt is a violation of tax bureau regulations. That is to say, it is dishonest. I believe that if I don t file my taxes, my taxes will be pocketed safely! Disguised price increase.
good price Kid-friendliness: good Wheelchair accessibility: yes
This is an average restaurant among all I have tried. One thing stands out is their combo dish Braised Pork with Plum and Cabbage, as well as their Beef Brisket with Vegetable Rice, are among the must try items. Do not try , Southern Breast Chicken, Kyoto Steak as the chef does not how to cook.... See photos The soup looks like water
Its been a long time that I havent visited this place, furnitures are worn out, servers are nice but not professional, food is okay, price is reasonable, if you are not demanding, its a good option for quickie bites.
Food is soso. It was busy when we were there so it was very loud in the restaurant. We ordered two drinks and waited 30 mins, and no drink was served. We followed up with a server and waited another 10 mins and still no drinks. Finally the drinks came 45 mins after we placed our order. We ask for take out cups because we had to leave at that time. The server took our bill and added 50 cents charge for the cups. We complained and explained we needed cups to go because the restaurant took so long to get our drinks. The server simply said she will let people preparing drinks know, but insisted we had to pay for takeout cups. Will not come here again.
Awesomw egg sandwich
The brisket was sparse and chewy Don t waste your time!
No official receipt but charged customers hst. Customer paid tips according before tax amount, they yelled the customer to pay more. CRA required to issue official receipt with hst number to customers to charge tax, they don t do properly. No good and not honest restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: kids menu Food
Forever loyal customer ... Satay Beef soup Vermicelli and Egg sandwiche
Horrible service. They missed our drinks, no waitress care at all. When it came 10 minutes after we finished our food, they threw it to your table (check the spilling in the photo). The only reason why I still gave it 2 stars is the pricing.
Cheap(er) eats in Markham, HK style cafe with good portions. They have a promo for a free dish (fish ball soup noodles) if you spend $50. Service is okay, and wait staff can understand English.
This is an NPC restaurant. It s not bad, but there is absolutely nothing remarkable about it. As others said, the drinks are on the watery side. I think they went a little too far on the cheap food approach. I would much rather they charge a few dollars more in exchange for better quality/effort.
I think the Hongkong style French toast is pretty meh. Hongkong style milk tea is also meh.. I gave it a 3/5.
Please leave as soon as you finish eating. 30 yuan is gone.
Today is my second time here. The first time I was served by the boss and his attitude was very good. Today I was served by my aunt and her attitude was very bad. I asked for ice water. It didn t come after I sat down. It didn t come until the third time. The milk tea didn t have a lot of milk. I couldn t finish the meal and packed it in the box. I didn t say if I needed to add money. There was no receipt yet. There was only a handwritten receipt. I seriously suspected tax evasion. With such an attitude, I really don t know why I should tip. Ill quarrel with you on the spot. I really don t mind if everyone goes to eat. Bty, I will report tax evasion to the Canada Revenue Agency reports tax evasion.
DO NOT GO this restaurant when approaching close time. The close time Still have 5mins left, and server was walking around you and try to clean table. Really garbage service and food is normal.
Order seafood fried rice, braised chicken on rice and Singapore noodles. It comes with a tasty dessert.
Not bad
Decided to try this HK style restaurant. Mistake. We ordered the signature chicken rice dish, beef brisket fried vermicelli and pork and egg congee. The meals come with Chinese or western style soup and a drink. Price was reasonable. The chicken in the rice dish was literally chopped up backs of a chicken. Barely any meat and all bone. Unlike any of the pictures of the chicken from other reviewers. Looks like our dish may have been an anomaly?? Phoenix restaurant has the best chicken rice dish. The beef brisket was ok not a lot flavour. The vermicelli noodle was fried and retained the shape of the bottom of the cooking vessel. We couldnt pull it apart - it was a clump of sticky noodles. Weird. The congee came after about 30 mins and there was about 2 small pieces of pork and about half of a preserved duck egg. The bowl was piping hot though. The menu was filthy and sticky. The server was efficient but could not be described as friendly. The tea with lemon came 30 mins after the first dish arrived. This restaurant would be a good pick for those who enjoy bland food with no discernable msg. First and last visit. Vegetarian options: Selection of Chinese greens. Parking: Typical strip mall parking that has a T&T and Tim Hortons.
This place is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. It s not cheap. They over charged me and a waitress came out running asking for tips when they were mopping with bleach while we were eating. They could mop after everyone s done eating so the food doesn t taste like bleach either. Tipping is also not mandatory I have no reason to tip for no service. Everything tastes gross. AVOID
Tasteless yinyang
this is a restaurant open many many years, I love the egg sandwich with the fluffy egg.
Hong Kong style restaurant
Overall Okay. But the frozen milk tea is really too sweet and tastes like too little tea. If you don t want sweetness, remember to ask for less sugar.
Never seen such a bad restaurant before. The service attitude is poor and the food quality is even worse. I dont know if he can survive.
Not always keep quality sometime is good sometime is bad
Heads up! Their waitresses did not welcome the mandarin speaker! Terrible experience!
Decent food for the price, fast serving times.
The price is the main factor . The food underprepared. But with such lower price , you can control your expectations.
Very cost-effective
I ordered black pepper pork chop on spaghetti right off the menu (no special requests) and the chef got it wrong twice. The waitress came out with bolognese spaghetti with pork cutlet, which is completely different from what I ordered, as the sauce is different and the pork was different too. The waitress asked if its okay and I sent it back because its not what I ordered. After 15 minutes, they came out with black pepper spaghetti on pork cutlet, which is still not what I ordered. What was horrifying was that you can tell they washed the sauce off the noodles and just put black pepper sauce on top because there were red stains from the bolognese sauce. I sent it back again because thats unacceptable. They finally got my order right the third time. I want to point out that the restaurant wasnt busy at the time and there were maybe 3 tables there. I drank Ovaltine and it tasted like water, no amount of sugar helped. Also they spilled soup on the jacket of the lady beside me. Very dissatisfied with the service and the food here. I will not be coming back.
This is the worst Chinese cafe in the existence of Markham or maybe even in GTA. Ordered a ketchup pork rice for 45min did not came, waiter ignored us, i mean not even answering us. After I could not wait anymore I decided to go and not leave any tips. The staff still insist on tips which is ridiculous. Of course I did not pay tips and left. If you have similar experience please leave this cafe a review, so people out there know and will not have the same experience that I have to go through.
Nice foods here
Have couple piece eggshells in egg sandwich, unacceptable!
There is only half a bowl of rice noodles for 13 yuan! ?
It was my first time being there. The taste did HKG style. But we were very lucky we were able to order some ( French toast) before they went out. The pineapple bun did sold out.
I ordered baked ham and shredded chicken with spaghetti for take out. When I got home, found there s no chicken at all. Also HK milk tea has no flavour at all. Will never go back.
I grew up eating Ho Garden, all the way back when they were still located at Alton Towers. I luv how the family members all worked together to run this business. Prices are fair and reasonable. Some of the food items are hit and miss but most of the time, they do deliver. I enjoyed it here. When you come here, you are not looking at fancy decor or superb service, but the comfort and casual dining. And this place brings nostalgic memories. I always come here and order the All-Day Combo that has the fried egg sandwich, satay beef soup noodles and hot yin-yang. The fried egg sandwhich always made to the perfection when its runny and steamy hot, its thickness is amazing. The satay beef is nice as well. Today, for some reason, I craved for congee so I ordered the breakfast combo which comes with century egg salty pork congee + bean sprouts stir fry ho fun noodles. This combo doesnt come with a hot beverage which I am ok. The congee itself is nicely prepared and smooth and steamy hot. However, it lacks enough ingredients and the pork seemed to be big pieces and not marinated enough as you can smell and taste the boiled pork smell, which I hate. Ho Fun was nicely stir fryed, you can smell and taste the Wok He and wok skillz, bean sprouts was crunch. The combo portion was so big that I have to bring ho fun home. I also like to order the ham soup macaroni. The Hainanese chicken with oil rice and ginger/scallion is delicious. For afternoon tea, I like to order the beef brisket tendon and shrimp wonton soup noodles. I dont really dine here for dinner time, as I mostly visited for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. Luv this place! Parking: Spacious free parking and close to the restaurant. There are also accessible parking spots around the restaurant as well.
Love the variety of dishes. Service is quick.
Mostly takeout orders from this restaurant for me as I usually come during busy periods and dont want to wait around. I come for 1 item only and thats the baked seafood on rice with white herbal cream sauce and ita awesome try it with spaghetti as well. Not many restaurants are able to make this dish consistently anymore, but this one does so I continue to return.
paid 12.99 for this where is the chicken????? (I took this picture right away haven t eaten anything yet)
Friendly staff, decent food for such low prices, no complaints at all, 1 of the few restaurants that doesnt jack up the prices yet Parking: Parking lot could be quite full during rush hours
Good prices for HK style food
It s a 3.5 stars rating restaurant. This restaurant has been around for a long time, lots of items to choose from and prices are very reasonable. We ordered a baked pork chops on rice and it s quite tasty. We also order Hainan chicken rice but it s a disappointing dish. The rice is bland and doesn t taste too fresh. One good dish and one not so good dish, but we will go back and try out other items.
Excellent value for their all day specials. For less than $10, you can get a meal with a drink. Service was quick and friendly.
Fast service, friendly staff, reasonable food prices, fairly big food menu........
Great food! Great price!
love this place
It was the first time I had breakfast here and I ordered satay beef rice. There was no satay juice at all, only a few slices of beef... no satay flavor, just like eating beef clear rice soup, and the milk tea flavor was also very bland; preserved egg and lean meat porridge The lean meat had a sour taste...it had obviously gone bad. I asked the clerk to change it to another porridge, but they were both watery and bland, and the fried rice noodles had no wok flavor. I have only had breakfast. I don t know if the lunch/dinner market will be better, but I would not recommend going for breakfast. The standard is very poor!
Family friends restaurant and by far my favorite place to go when Im hungry for some HK Cafe food
This place had proven to me that it will only be the last resort if and only if all available restaurants (even fast food places like McDonalds or Timmys) are all closed, and nothing at home to made, then I will only consider this place. Bad service, drinks are very watered down, food was just okay.
Affordable and delicious. The service is good. A set meal with soup and drinks is about $10-12.
Unpalatable, finished
Not the best milk tea but for morning breakfast it s a good quick spot. Better than Tims if you have time to sit
okay hk style cafe. staff arent bad, the food is average quality.
3rd time here and thats it, not coming back. was all fine until the old lady (with a grin all the time) was so rude to us. All we asked was about the set, does it come with bacon... yesterday i ordered the exact same thing and it came with bacon, today it didnt. So i would say think its a fair question to ask. but this old lady took it to the next lvl.. she thinks we are taking advantage of her and started yelling at us, saying we ordered the wrong set. anyways... extremely bad service.. not coming back
The staff are extremely nice and the food is amazing. They also are of great value.
My friends and I went here for lunch, for the first time today, and were very disappointed by the extremely rude waitress and bad service. If we hadnt raised our hands, they would have completely ignored us. The food was decent, but it is not a place my friends and I will ever dine in again. Absolutely terrible!
menu link cannot see menu
Small portion , teast so so
The portion is sufficient and the price is reasonable. There are not many menus to try. The baked rice tastes very good. I recommend the Portuguese chicken rice and shredded ham and chicken baked rice.
Hainan chicken was good in view of the price.
Its a typical HK diner. Food is nothing special, but hits the spot. Always busy.
Taste not bad will return to try other dishes
Food is okay for the price. Stay away from the baked rice dishes. Club sandwich is a good choice. Breakfast items are okay as well.
Service was great; staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was also nice and somewhat bustling. The food tho was mediocre. I had the wonton & beef brisket noodles, and both wonton and beef brisket werent very good. The wonton was tasteless and the shrimp was chewy, while the beef brisket was also quite tasteless and chewy. My friend had the salted fish and chicken fried rice and it apparently was also rather bland. The soup that came with the meal was also flavorless. All in all, for a slightly more expensive price you could get better food at other HK style restaurants but if you want to save a bit and are ok with blander food then the service here is great.
Not consistent with their qualities. Sometimes they can be good but totally opposite also happened. I like their iron plate steak meal.
I visited three times, one time for Baked Pork Chop Rice, the second time for Dry Fried Beef Brisket, and the third time for Curry Beef Brisket Rice The overall satisfaction level is high. The taste, quality and portion are also good. I declare that I am just a diner and I will strictly rate the restaurant. There will never be a five-star restaurant.
Ordered two curry beef brisket dishes, one with rice and the other with spaghetti. We are all disappointed with tasteless curry paste and sauce. I trust myself and conclude that the beef brisket meats were prepared on different times and quality (meats were tough and too choked). Ordered two western borscht soup, waitress placed two different soup. We have to accept... We are quickly finishing with our lunch, and not thinking next time...
Food is hot, price is affordable. Hong Kong style food: HK milk tea, rice, noodles, afternoon tea combo, etc
Ive been here twice recently. The first time, I was hesitant to order the pork belly with preserved vegetables on rice, but did so anyways. It was actually really good. Portion was generous and the pork pieces were a good mix of lean and fat. Overall, the food is good. The price is what will bring you back. Excellent value here. The service was nice too. Im definitely coming back in the near future.
Affordable and filling.
The signature noodle soup costs 11 yuan, which is very affordable and comes with a free drink Very delicious, the waiter is very friendly and has a good attitude. High praise
Traditional hk style restaurant. Service is fast, food is so so.
The food tasted ok, price affordable
Ordered the deep fried chicken leg and toast with peanut butter. The deep fried food takes a while to arrive but the taste is good
Food is OK, but the service is terrible terrible terrible!!!
Be in this restaurant many times. We ordered Hai Nan Chicken Rice and Black bean beef fried thick noodle. The Hai Nan chicken rice was not as good as before with the meat not tender enough. The fried noodle was served very hot and good smell. It was tasty also. The servers were very friendly as one of them basically knew every patron.
The price is reasonable, the beef tendon and brisket taste average, the tendon is soft enough, the brisket is slightly tough, and the milk tea is average. Remember to provide enough tips, otherwise the store staff will remind you warmly.
Worst service ever!!
Good people, good value
The instant noodles they used to have was very good. We would always come here just to order the instant noodles because the noodle texture was very nice and the noodle soup/ MSG soup was also tasty. However when we went today we noticed the quality of the noodle greatly decreased, it s not as chewy as it once was and it s just really mushy. The broth also changed into this white broth that was not at all what it used to be. We are guessing although the price remained the same, they simply used lower quality materials to make up for it hopefully this is not a permanent change as it s one of the main reasons we would come here for lunch!
Great tasting authentic HK cafe food. Been a staple in the community. Delicious Portuguese chicken and baked pork chop. Egg sandwich was filled and delicious! Drinks were flavourful too. Service is standard Chinese restaurant service.
Service is a bit slow at times but the food is usually pretty good.
One of the dish we ordered was a Singapore fried noodles, we made a complaint about how it lacked flavours, like no salt. But thats not the issue here. Once it came back to our table. It does have saltiness to it, BUT there is a weird hint of chemical or weird taste to it. Its as if the chefs got mad that we sent the dish back, and added something in it. Im skeptical because the amount of salt they added in far exceeds any dish Ive had on their menu, . Its like theyre hiding what they secretly put in,the amount of salt they put wont hide it for me. It could be unsanitary oil(or even gutter oil), water from mop bucket, they couldve spitted on it. From before it looked dried, but now, its strangely way more oily. But yeah, im never eating here again.
Food was below average. the price is relatively cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.
always good.
One of the best Hong Kong style Chinese food in Markham area, price is good as well, love their free Russian soup which comes with most combo deal, must go !
I will give zero star for the service
A so-so neighbourhood HK Style Café ( ), extensive menu, reasonable priced dishes, busy lunch time crowd for fast service, most meals include soup & hot drink, food quality could be improved.
Having beef brisket Ho Fun, only two edible beef, the rest are hard as rock... The Hong Kong tea is alright but the quality is not as good as before.
Large portions for their tea time specials. Parking: Plaza parking lot.
Excellent service. Delicious food.
The price is quite affordable, but the ginger and scallion beef noodles I ordered were too salty, and the soup delivered was also extremely salty. I don t recommend ordering this dish.
food is one star, price is not matching the quality,go somewhere else.
One of the Hong Kong style restaurants, lot of varieties and familiar Hong Kong style western food.
The chef made a big difference. I havent been there for a while, in the old days the food were just ok. This time l ordered a Singapore Style stir-fry dishes, awesome; l enjoyed it a lots. I mentioned to the waitress about it, she said they hired the chef from Casino Rama...is a A 1+++ hotel grade cooking. For sure l will go there more often.
Price reasonable, food not bad!
Avoid ordering the pineapple bun with butter. The bun is hard and Slightly underbaked. Other than that, the soup in SayTay Soup with rice noodles is only chilly sauce, but not saytay. The taste is kinda weird compare to other restaurants. Staff is cold to us. When we asked for cold water instead of tea, they gave us hot water. Ive eaten pineapple oil twice, and its getting worse and worse. The color is still lacking, and the pineapple skin actually fell out in pieces...its tough when you bite it off...its not worth it! Satay, rice and beef shoes, I like the food, but the waiter has a bad attitude! black mouth black face
But without losing Cons: Fried noodles are greasy Pros: lower price
First time returning to Ho Garden after the lockdown period. The restaurant followed the social distancing restrictions carefully. It was clean & organized. The food and service were great! Good for value! We tried their take outs during another lockdown. The food quality was not as good. We felt a bit disappointed. Hope they will improve after the lockdown period. Recent Visit: We finally came back for dine in during afternoon tea time. They have a lot of variety for afternoon tea set on their menu. The portion was reasonable and the price was affordable. The food and service was much better this time. Glad to see things return to the good old days.
The food is not very good at all. Not worth the $$.
The food was pretty good for its price. I order some macaroni with a toast for $7.50, and it s not bad. The soup in macaroni was a bit salty and the toast seemed a little blend, but I can t complain much when the combo also comes with a milk tea!
I can t wait to get rid of it, I really can t lose this afternoon tea with western toast
Taste not bad
Good place for lunch options - dishes generally come with soup and a drink of choice
Simple place with great food. Good generous servings and good service.
Fast service. Very reasonable. Pricing and food was very good and food was very good. Prices great!
Not busy but service poor! Only 7 tables have customers 5 servers can t handle it? Food normal!
good value food, all the old people here so they know where to get best price per lb. tasty toob
I felt like vomiting halfway through eating. I don t know if the things are unclean.
Returning to Ho Garden first time after the lockdown period. Clean & bright. Excellent customer service. The servers were friendly and nice. Breakfast served fast and hot. Cost effective and efficient. Good for value!
Poor service!!!
There are many kinds of food, the price is reasonable, the service is good, the value is great, and the food is delicious
Chinese Bistro Cafe style restaurant with 4 booth seats. Seems to be a family business, thus most servers are friendly and welcoming, except a few hired servers. Overheard their staff taking orders, polite and efficient but remain friendly. Food not greasy, a bit on the plain side if you are used to salty food. Set meals are very reasonably priced. I chose one that came with drinks. The milk tea was smooth, strong and taste surprisingly great. Also on order was rice plates (one with Hainan chicken & another with pork chop), porridge and fried noodle. All comes with very good portions. Congee is a bit on the plain side, not watery as others mentioned, but need to add a small dash of salt. Vegetable dishes tasted great. An excellent place to grab a quick bite in Chinese style. Looking for to come again for breakfast as well.
1000 year old egg with pork congee had no taste . Fried noodles tasted ok but no fried aroma. Like home cooked noodles without wok fried taste and smell. HK Milk tea is not the best, Ive tasted better. But the price is good . Only $9 for tea, noodles and congee. If you want a simple, no thrill, inexpensive breakfast or lunch, this is the place to go.
Price is right and food is good.
This is from my experience. I like couple dishes they have Hoi Nam chicken rice lol Lemon grass porkchop Rice noodles stir fry beef with gravy Top it of with hk ice lemon tea
I had dinner here with my mom. We ordered beef brisket with noodles, and Hai Nan Chicken with rice. Both did not meet my expectations. Service was good. Overall I would consider this is below average.
Quality has dropped recently
First time at this cafe. Ordered a pork knuckle and beef brisket noodle that tasted really bland. The knuckle and beef was cold and noodle was soggy and had this soapy taste. Cold milk tea was watered down and way too sweet. Interior lighting was dim and tables were damp. Service was mediocre. Price wasn t cheap either. Should have trusted the reviews here before giving this cafe a try
Its ghetto lol
Mid Dec 2022 weekend lunch. Busy before 2 pm and quite noisy as usual HK style cafe. The Hainan chicken rice is just bland overcooked steamed hard meat chicken. The rice has some oil but missing coconut taste, aroma. It costs $12 dor the meal combo.
Food quality decreased
Cantonese Chow Mein is the best value and really well done! Incredibly fast, too.
When the customer is Yang Gu! I ordered a takeaway tuna sandwich for afternoon tea. I opened it when I got home and saw that the tuna was thinner than a razor blade (only the tuna juice coating was the same). Then I added a large amount of lettuce to make a thick sandwich and cooked it. Duli! The tuna fish served in other restaurants is 100 times thicker than this, and the price is even more affordable than this peninsula. I won t patronize you again!
Took 35 min for a simple meal
Food, service are above average. Price is reasonable.
Best value and quality restaurant in the area. Ordered countless take out during lockdown. The baked tomato sauce pork chop with rice is a must try. They have spaced the tables out so we felt very safe while dining in. Usually not too busy in dinner time.
This place is pretty good. Has a lot of tasty snacks. It also has a good variety of food for the kids and family. We ordered the club sandwich, hai-nan chicken and the fried fish and French fries. I didn t get a chance to photograph the fish fillet and french fries but they were absolutely delicious. The batter was light and crispy. I think it was panko flake. The sandwich was spot on. The chicken dish was very tasty. The only problem was that when the chicken was chop the bones were fractured into little pieces.
Mmmmm delicious! I suggest this to anybody looking for a good meal at a great price. You can request no msg which is great and I always order their Yeung Chow fried rice here and anything that is on the menu is pretty much their speciality! I would say that the employees are nice and friendly and the restrooms are clean.
We got the club sandwich, hainanese chicken and Portuguese spaghetti. The club sandwich was good, no complaints, cant go wrong with a sandwich! The Portuguese spaghetti didnt seem like it was baked at all and the sauce for the spaghetti just seemed like it was poured on top at end. The rice for the chicken was delicious but the chicken itself was ok. It has a lot of bones, and wasnt too flavorful.
The service is good, the food is of good quality, the price is moderate, it s worth visiting
The food quality is ok.
Decent food quality. Friendly staffs.
Half of the servers in this restaurant are very rude, seems like they don t want to serve you. The tables in there are too close and they don t care about you got fully vaccinated or not , just ask you to sign up the name and phone numbers, that s make me feel not safe. I m not recommended this restaurant
