7155 Woodbine Ave, Markham, ON L3R 1A3, Canada
Branch of cafe chain offering Hong Kong-style specialties all day, with hot & cold drinks & shakes.
Ordered takeout and was not impressed. We ordered several dishes that came with steamed rice (but every dish, there was 90% rice and 10% of the actual item). Seems cheap and not worth the money in my opinion. Taste is alright but there are so many better restaurants. They also no longer offer 10% discount with cash and they didn't take credit card, debit only. Would not recommend.
If you're looking for an egg cooked easy over, don't think about it, they don't know how to make it. We have been here every week and the same over cooked fried eggs comes out of the kitchen.
A few things that were great about this place are... 1. I liked the Pork Chop Cutlet it was great the soy sauce mixed with some seaweed they added made it taste great! 2. The staff their were super nice! 3. I loved atmosphere! I came around the October month and they decorated for Halloween which was cool. One thing that is not good about the place. 1. DO NOT GET THE HONEY LEMON WATER! It is was to sweet.
I love to dine here. It has ample parking. The restaurant itself has high ceiling, clean and comfortable. Price reasonable and the portion is good for brunch. They still have the two can dine for around $26 after 4pm. That is a very great deal. Recommended
Good and fast food with many menu options. Service was quick and large portions. We had two vegetarian dishes, fried noodles with bean curd and fried noodles with mixed veggies and Japanese curry chicken and noodles. All were good.
Decided to be a little adventurous, chain type restaurants tend to be a hit or a miss. Nicely decorated casual modern cha chaan teng place. Normal cha chang teng menu but they also had a special 2 for dinner menu at a great inflation busting price with plenty of dish choices to pick from and a free drink is included Went with the Fish fillet with pickled mustard cabbage in fish broth & yunan vermicelli. Yeah, the dish name is long but it exactly described the dish. Surprisely the fish chunks were very large and paired well with the crunchy preserved vegs/broth. Soup had a slight mild mala spice flavor causing a slight tingly numbness in my mouth full of soup noodles.. 2nd dish was the Steak with onion paste in rice bowl, steak was braised and tender with a mild onion flavor on a bed of white rice in a bowl. Staff very friendly and efficient. Very happy with their 2 for dinner special, good value for your money, however, I noticed many diners ordering the regular entrees which looks large and delicious. This restaurant is a good representation and carries on the reputation of Chinese restaurants, their prices are reasonable, large food portions leads to getting a doggie bag so leftovers can be stretched to another meal, don't expect large tips and staff are friendly. Although majority of staff and customers speak Chinese, don't let that intimidate you, menus most of the time are in English with photos and there's usual a few staff that can speak broken English.
Phoenix Restaurant is a good choice if you are around Markham. It has many selections at breakfast, lunch, tea time, and dinner. Service was great, our waiter "Kay" was excellent. She remembered what we had yesterday when we went there the next day. The food was fresh and fast, even during busy hours, and the price was cheap.
Wow this location is really not good. My baked pork chop with tomato and cream sauce rice dish came out lukewarm. The frozen vegetable bits were not cooked long enough so they taste raw. The worst part was the meat drowned in baking soda during marination to hide low quality meat/tenderize quickly so it had an alkaline taste and was cooked in sesame oil which you could also taste. Sesame oil?!?! Put all this together, and having to pay $20 for this did not feel good. Food is expensive now, but at least make it taste good :( Go to the Markham location. Or maybe even the Scarborough one.
Honestly. Love this place. You gotta get to know the staff! Theyre awesome. Expect classic HK style service and food.
They accept cash, there is no 10% discount, and they still charge me tax.
After coming to Canada for so many years, I have eaten at countless tea restaurants. This is the first time I came to Jinfeng. It was really, really unpalatable. Don t try the Hainanese chicken. The chicken is fishy and woody, and it s hard to pair it with ginger paste. Eat, oh my God! Curry egg is just like . Make chicken curry with chicken? The first time I ate it, it was too bad and tasted bad... OMG, once is enough, there will be no next time.
The food standard and taste is very good.
They decided to RAISE THE PRICE for a meal for two by 12% right before the Tax Break. Theyre definitely losing a customer with this move. Just something to keep in mind if youre planning a visit.
Amazing taste! Good service. Ample parking.
Always visit this Hong Kong style fast food shop whenever were in Toronto area for the combo platters, especially the mini waffle egglets with fillings. Very yummy and well made that goes really well with milk tea. Other items are great too. Love the thick toast, baked rice dishes plus many more. Worth the visits
The waitress not really friendly no smiles ever and the food 5/5 good!!
Average HK cafe style food with very large menu selection. Prices are slightly higher compared to other similar restaurants, but Phoenix is a larger franchise. Worth a visit if youre in the area. They offer cash discount. They currently have a 2 meals+drinks deal for $25.88 which is killer. I will return to try more.
Good food with good price.
I ordered and waited for a long time and learned that my order was never put in.
The price is okay, the taste is average
Their ICED MILK TEA is my personal favourite!! Chilled glasses make it even better. Prices are above-average compared to similar-sized restaurants, but able to compensate by serving relatively bigger portions. Their staff, however, is indifferent and emotionless. Quick and acceptable service-wise. Parking: Depends on the time of day, usually able to scramble for 1-2 parking spots. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair-friendly
Delicious food and fast service! I love their Hainanese chicken rice. Only the 1 location that offers now - Woodbine and Steeles... Parking: Easy to find the parking lot.. Kid-friendliness: We love the kids meals.
This tea restaurant can survive in a commercial area of less than 800 meters on this street with 5-6 Chinese restaurants. It is indeed quite powerful. Therefore, the restaurants ordering and delivery are very fast, and there are many varieties of dishes to choose from. In addition to Chinese food, there are also sandwiches and French toasts. Therefore, it is very popular among diners. The attitude of the waiter is very friendly. When a child accidentally hit his head and cried, the waiter took the initiative to take out a lollipop to comfort him, and stopped the childs crying from affecting the appetite of the diners next door in time. Although on the pricier end, Phoenixs taste and portion dont disappoint. Ive tried their grouper in the last two orders and its very tasty and thick.
The taste is on the strong side, suitable for Westerners and the elderly. The gravy is thicker. Those with light taste should be careful, as the price is on the high side.
service is good
I like hainanese chicken rice at phoenix restaurant, i try many restaurants of this kind, nobody s I like, little bit expensive but I don t wanted to waste my money of another restaurant, I hope they will continue of this at McCowan phoenix restaurant, I don t have to drive to woodbine. Service ok friendly and fast.
really bad customer service and missed my food. the hainan chicken is bad, especially the source come with it smell stick.
Great Hong Kong style cafe. Good HK style milk tea and breakfast. They also offer afternoon tea specials. Very stable quality and good atmosphere.
Expensive. And food is not good.
Hidden gem. Great food.
Pay cash then get 10% discount :)
Hygiene is too bad
Ordered the same dish (salt n pepper pork with Maggi sauce over rice) at the Raymerville location and not a single piece of bone in the pork pieces, but the same dish from this location at Woodbine had bones in half of the meat pieces; in addition one piece of the green vegetables had a weird taste I spitted out after one bite into it. The Woodbine location also gave twice as much veggies. Their offers are also inconsistent; again ordered exactly the same dish twice but one time they charged me for a HK tea whereas the staffer who took my phone order the second time asked me what I wanted for the drink that was included, which meant it was free! So why was it free one night and not another; both were ordered on a weeknight.
No one want to care about you. Its your choice to stay or want to eat. Food
Delicious food, clean place and excellent service. Update: went back for breakfast, good value for money and its authentic HK style. Food : 4/5
Legit Hainanese chicken rice. Will come back for more! Order ahead for take out if you re not willing to queue up at lunch hours
Everytime I come here the service and food always so good. Definitely recommend.
Hk style restaurant Food quality is not good and no heart for food preparation but still a lot of customers! Not recommend! Food : 3/5
Food great but the workers are fomo for tips especially for take out
Another speedy Hong Kong style cafe. Highly recommend cold milk tea and Hainanese chicken rice (boneless) or curry dish pretty tasty too
This is our new go to restaurant ever since they closed the North York location. Food is fantastic and the price is great too, especially the two can dine deal they currently have going on. Good stuff!
The Hainanese chicken was so delicious that I ate it directly, and the chicken was really fishy, and it was black to the naked eye
The Hainanese chicken rice no way comparably to those in Malaysia and Singapore. The rice is utterly lacking chicken flavor. GTA is attempting to move away from the tipping culture and this restaurant boldly suggested at least 15%. It s likely they are abusing servers with under minimum wage. Shame.
The delicious taste of the Song series is worth recommending
The staff were very nice and the food was great!!!!,and not expensive. I recommend.
Tasty place, they give you a lot of food for a meal. Price per meal will be around 15-20$.
Came here for their $26 for 2 combos special. The drink tasted pretty bad lacking flavor even though they are complimentary. I recommend the steak now, tasted good. Overall I like their McCowan location better, in terms of food quality.
Food is good. Great service.
I really like their satay beef noodle for breakfast! Price is good. Service is a bit fast pace but thats a typical HK style cafe
One word good
Large portions. Main dishes were on the too salty/sweet side but they came sizzling hot.
The afternoon set menu for two was delicious, with a variety of fried noodles and delicious stone nest rice, served with pork chop and egg, or sirloin and beef cubes. The portions were generous, and the staff were enthusiastic and attentive. It was a satisfying meal! (The set meal for two starts after 4 p.m.)
The taste of old Hong Kong, the service staff is very enthusiastic
Great HK cafe! Their hainan chicken rice is amazing and so are their baked dishes. Their pork cutlets are also very crispy and tasty.
Great location and food
Its a pretty competitive area for hk style cafe food, this place does not live up. Many items are overpriced especially considering the food quality is very poor.
Though I drove by often, it was the first time I dined here. The chef did a great job. Neither under nor over. Just perfect!
The red-bean cold drink is VERY disappointed as it is not an ice-cream topping , rather , just ice pretending to be ice-cream (tricky restaurant marketing ). You be the judge by checking out the photos yourself . Secondly, size of food is under average while taste is ok la. I wont return because like this Singapore noodle, the noodle is broken , meaning , they use the cheap one where other good restaurants will not happen. Quality of good cant lie.
Best hainanese chicken in town! And their Lai Cha milk tea is fantastic. Pay cash for discount
The waitress was rude and rude. I have politely asked him to add a pair of cutlery. She felt as if she had done too much and threw her chopsticks and spoons at us, which made us feel very insulted. In addition, the food quality is very poor and tastes terrible. I will never patronize it again!
VERY DISAPPOINTED AND NOT RECOMMEND Their hainan chicken is water-boiled , comes with white rice, very disappointing and not worth the money. Chicken is stinky, clearly not fresh, and tasteless. The rice is plain white rice. I think they misunderstood Hainan Chicken, the rice should be seasoned. Worst ever among all other Hong Kong style restaurants I tried, and they even charge the dish in higher price than others The pineapple bun is very average and the topping does not make it nicer.
Hanan chicken not as good anymore.
Very bad service indeed. No matter what I requested, I have to wait and repeat two times to remind/urge. The waitresses were not that busy but they chose to do whatever they like. Two waitresses could just gather at a table to chat with their familiar customers and let me wait for my requests and eventually they forgot my requests. They didn t say a single sorry to me. I see that this is their style or way of doing their jobs.
I ordered takeout last week, specifically the Curry Beef Brisket. It totaled $20.33, and I was very disappointed by what I received. There were two containers in the bag (I should have taken a picture, but I didnt). One was a regular white plastic container for the rice, and the other was a round plastic tub for the curry brisket, which is pretty standard packaging. The upsetting part was the rice container. They only filled half of the box, leaving two-thirds of it empty. As for the curry brisket, they gave me very little not just in terms of meat, but also in the size of the container. Normally, they would put the sauce and protein in a tall congee container, but this time, it was only half the size (like the dessert-sized container). I was already unhappy, so whatever food I put in my mouth had to be exceptionally good to change my opinion. Unfortunately, it didnt change my mind. I wouldnt recommend this dish or this place. I understand that running a business is tough, but Im still paying $21 for a dish. I wont be going back there again.
The recently launched set meal for 2 people is very cost-effective
I went there for dinner and I had a great time tonight. The food brought all the childhood memories. The price is right and very honest and friendly staff there. I will visit again. Thank you!
Food its good and prices are wonderful. Very fast service
Too noisy. Service is next to none. There are better choices else where
Dinner for three after a day of touring. Service was friendly and the meal was prepared quickly. The food was delicious but the strip mall atmosphere leaves something to be desired. The price was reasonable.
We came around 12:30pm for lunch and it was packed! We didnt have to wait too long before we got seated. The food came out quickly. The hong kong milk tea was ok, pretty standard but creamy. I ordered Y01 porkchop with black pepper sauce. Needless to say it was so bland...the meat wasnt crispy and I ate like I was being forced to eat food. My partner got the backed fried rice porkchop with red and white sauce. That was much more tasty and flavorful! I recommend that dish. It is hit or miss depending on what you order but this place is fairly standard. You get what youre looking for.
Food production still needs to be carefully controlled. Although I ordered a basic dish of rice, the rice base was uncooked, which made the customer feel bad; it still needs to be improved.
I absolutely love the Malaysia Curry Beef rice and the ice milk tea here! However, I must admit that the chicken leg salad was a bit disappointing. The meat didnt taste fresh, and it had an overpowering pepper flavor.
Quick service with delicious dishes. After taking our order, items started coming out in short order. There is a cash discount if 10% and also a volume discount.
At 4pm, we were the only two diners. I had ordered a bowl of fried pork chop with instant noodles and a hot drink for me. After waiting about 25 minutes, I urged the waitress to check the order. The pork chop tastes okay, but the instant noodles have been soaked for too long and have lost their taste and texture. I have never eaten noodles that taste so bad. I believe that after the noodles were cooked, they were left for too long and then be taken out. The noodles was completely ruined. It cost $12.50 before tax and tips which is totally not worth. I will definitely not go to that restaurant in the future.
Authentic Hong Kong style food, good service.
Quick service. Consistent food. Great price.
The so-called coupons to attract stupid people* I don t know what it means
authentic Parking: Free parking lot in front, as well as very close nearby Food : 5/5 |
Hainanese chicken rice was quite disappointing, the chicken was not fresh. The beef curry is very spicy, but the beef is quite tender and the portion is sufficient. Because the location is good, people come in all the time and business is good. It s okay to eat whatever you want.
This is the second location for this restaurant I visited. It is a great place for Hong-Kong style breakfast - Service is fast and food was great!
Baked pork chop rice is very bad. garbage
Food not bad: Hong Kong style milk tea, satay beef vermicelli, pineapple bun with butter on the inside. Pricing is fair.
Great Hong Kong style food. This is comfort food for me. Its not fancy, but hits the spot. Fast service. Huge menu. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is at the back of the menu, comes with a drink and dessert.
Such a simple yet welcoming hong-kong style restaurant. Friendly staff makes you feel at home. They offer a variety of HK dishes and beverages at a reasonable price.
Typical Hong Kong styled food. Fast service. Taste is not bad. Doesn t take credit cards - cash or debit only.
Its delicious, but its a bit expensive.
Recommend the mandarin duck pork chop baked rice Not recommended for duck breast rice, too sour
Its a place to get a quick bite. If you want to enjoy your meal, go somewhere else.
The service needs to be strengthened .
Food is not as good as it used to be
Great selection of breakfast and lunch, tasty and delicious
No service.
Great location. Fast service. Fair prices.
the milk tea is so good. Its like Im back in hk
Hong Kong-style tea restaurant feeling, many choices, generous portions, but the price is not cheap, milk tea is ok, and the tea aroma is average
Affordable, yummy food. Friendly services.
milk tea was good - everything else made me want to barf. the steak on the steak rice was literally inedible and i m still digesting the fried chicken rice 2 hrs later. it s in my stomach like a rock and i still feel nauseous from it.
Mandarin duck grilled rice with braised sauce setY08 Big plate, average taste, bland The meat has no taste and the rice quality is poor Hot drinks included $20 inclusive The place is easy to sit, but I heard someone talking about quarantine Service
Food not that yummy and not good customer service , how do I know the table number when I come in ??????
Very good HK cafe. Lots of menu items to choose from ... Im talking about 100+ ; gonna take you at least 10 minutes to go through the menu!
The braised chicken with tomato sauce is stellar. However, the satay beef with vermicelli was a let down. Definitely get the extra cold/hot drink with your meal.
Good food and fast service. Would have merited at least.a 4 star or maybe even 5 star, but when I tried to pay the bill, I was told that they wouldn t accept any credit card issued in US. To make matters worse, they would only take my American dollars at par value, ie if the bill is CAN$30, you will have to pay US$30 cash, unless you want to go and look for a bank to exchange money. I didn t have time for that and frankly it would have been a hassle unless there was a bank next door, so I just paid my bill in US$ at the 1:1 ratio, even though the current exchange rate is 1.4 to 1. The thing that bothered me was they never posted any sign in the restaurant or on the menu. Somebody else later told me that a lot of Chinese restaurants in GTA do that, but I have visited dozens of them in Mississauga and never ran into this kind of situation. Maybe it s more a Markham thing. So consider this a PSA for American visitors- make sure you have CAN cash before visiting this place.
taste good
Food is always good. Service is always fast.
overall experience was good
Nice quick spot for comfort food
Bad service attitude and unhygienic!
Food is quite tasty and they had a discount event so it was great.
Excellent but small chinese bisto. A lot of variety and choice. The portion is big. I visited for breakfast. The beef satay vermicelli is very authentic. HK Milk tea is really good. There are many other options for kids and elderly too. Service is really good. But it is a bit small. So please visit it before the usual peak hour
This location is same as the other location that used to be on Bayview Ave in terms of the dishes offered. A bit cramped inside. Lots of patrons in Saturday morning, having to wait a bit for tables.
Pheonix have been in Toronto for many years. Very consistant in quality and taste is good. Not cheap for these HK style cafeteria food. They have 3 outlets in Toronto. Recommended
It s so hard to eat On July 16, 2023, I ordered baked chestnut rice and pork belly rice for lunch. The baked rice was like a college canteen. The rice was hard, the fish and sticks were dry, and the rice was very salty (someone has kidney disease). My girlfriend calls me fried pork chop with udon, and the pork chop is made with wood... Li Shen: I was so hungry that it was difficult to eat, but the service quality was OK. My sister placed the order quickly and served the food quickly. I can make do with it even if I don t have any food. 35CAD (210HKD)
great value great taste
This is a very average restaurant. It does have a large menu. We ordered quite a lot, but nothing was overly impressive. The waitresses will push you to pay cash for a 10% discount but will then not give you the discount or your change if you do pay cash. Very average experience but I would recommend it as the food was decent.
Normally I dont really want to leave a review because everyone has their own preferences, but Im really bad at this. It s good to scan the QR code to order. The QR code is posted at the counter. When ordering, customers can choose the restaurant by themselves or enter the counter number themselves. When the clerk walked away, he said I m not here yet . I thought I was going to Ao Niu when I left. , I ordered the fried chicken steak and left it to me with my chopsticks, and served myself the whole time. Wild food is for everyone s taste, I can only say that at such a price, there are similar prices everywhere, so why bother with it?
The Malaysian curry beef with rice tastes good. As the title mentions explicitly, the curry belongs to Malaysian style and strikes a good balance between saltiness, sweetness, hotness, herbs and the portion of ground peanuts. The beef is also very soft. The curry sauce is abundant that you can have the last spoon of rice with curry sauce. The ox tongue with spaghetti and tomato sauce is also good. The tomato sauce also strikes a balance between sweetness and sourness. The ox tongue is very soft. It also absorbs the tomato sauce. Impressive. The Hong Kong style milk tea is good. The only thing I need to be picky is that the tea is a bit old. This may make the milk tea less silky. The attendants are polite and diligent. The place is also clean. A delightful place to visit.
Food are delicious, like Pad Thai. BUT actually with THE WORST service EVER. One of the employees with poker face looks like she don t want to work. If you would like to get the WORST service ever in the world, please go there and ENJOY THE SERVICE :)
We came here for morning breakfast, the breakfast menu has a lot of different options. We ordered the Satay Beef vermicelli and Pineapple Bun with egg & ham combos. Each combo came with a hot drink. Within 5 minutes of order, the food was served on the table. Parking: Free parking on site.
Good portions and good food. Lots of choice on the menu but pretty typical of a Chinese restaurant. Servers were kind and quick.
Restaurant is not very big. Probably a couple dozen tables inside. Went around 1pm on a Saturday and waited approximately 15 mins. This is the type of place you go in, get your food and then bug out. Not a cozy spot. Its very crammed. We actually were a group of 4 seated with 2 other random people, Hong Kong styles sharing because it was so busy. Service was quick. Surprisingly they didnt know what the coded menu numbers were. They had to see it and read out the chinese name of the dish. Food was mediocre. Prices are high. Portions are not very large. We got a tomato and cream sauce baked pork chop dish. Its pretty much a egg fried rice with frozen peas, carrots, beans, and then 2 giant fried pork chops smothered in 2 types of sauces. A cream based one and a tomato one. Sauce was very thick. Amount of rice was actually not very much. Tasted ok. Pork chops werent overly dry. Nothing stood out as being amazing. Also got a Cantonese fried noodle dish very veggies (bean curd, carrots, mushrooms, gai lan). Noodles were freshly fried and then smothered with the noodle sauce. Sauce was average. Tasted fine just not amazeballs. Kinda weird their used button mushrooms. Was expecting shitake musrooms. Bean curd was good. Gai lan was good . Overall, would not recommend due to atmosphere (crammed like sardines), price (high), and quality. I would rather go to congee queen and get similar things.
one of the older Phoenix branch around. Food is always descent, fast and had maintained its standard quality for the last 8 years. Legit cantonese cha chan tang. Note: Menu items are different than the new Yonge Branch.
These guys are okay I suppose. They have a large menu and meal portion size is decent. I would recommend bringing cash and taking advantage of their 10% cash discount, but overall I d say they re pretty average Kid-friendliness: Has a kids menu, but isn t much cheaper than an adult meal.
They have a large selection and all look so good. Milk tea and milk tea with coffee are excellent, red bean ice drink as well. We ordered few lunches and they are good for the price. I will go back again.
Everything sucks . The Italian noodles is not good . This HK classic doesn t even add cheese . Portions are small . The beef bitter melon rice is 20 % ingredients and rest 80% rice . Complete rip off . Doesn t give free soup . Go to Pine house cafe instead . Safe money
Ok place to grab something quick to eat and cheap
It is a very Hong Kong style tea n snacks restaurant. Service n servers are good n responsible. Lots of free parking on site. Come n check it out. Food : 4/5
Average and expensive
Large menu from breakfast, lunch to dinner. Baked rice/spaghetti, sandwiches, cold/hot drinks, desserts, waffles, snacks, noodles with soup and much more. The food comes out quickly and generous portion size. It does get busy during lunch and dinner hours. They only accept cash and debit.
Great and fast service for tasty HK cafe faire. This place really reminded me of the cafes in Hong Kong.
The food is always great here and I never have an issue when dining in. However, the last two times (Aug 30 and Sept 6) I decided to get take out for dinner and was told to pay cash to get a 10% discount. Both times I ended up paying more than the regular non-discounted price because the waitress doesnt give you change or will not give you the correct amount of change back so unless you have exact change, its easier just to pay with credit card.
Great portions . Fresh . Good good .
Great food and great service. HK style cafe with all the usual options done in the traditional way. Place is a bit worn out due to the heavy traffic. Which you know it means gear food were served here every day.
Nice food, good portions! Very big selection. Kay was very kind to us and super helpful despite the language barrier. Would definitely come back. Note that its cash or debit only.
Great food and classic hainese chicken! Their bubble waffle ice cream dessert is also worth trying. Not a surprise they are branching out to different locations
The three-color bean is a mysterious existence Satay Beef Noodles But it looks like curry satay The best thing is the baked crispy ones Topped with toast filled with condensed milk
We came pretty late to get dessert, so I can only review based on the French Toast, and the Toast Ice Cream! Both foods were great and the people here were very helpful! Definitely would come again for desserts!
Food quality has gone down significantly. No longer worth the prices.
I specially drove here from DT to eat there. It was my first time here and there was no wait list to scan the QR code at the door. The waiter saw us coming in and waiting there, but no one came over to tell us how to line up. I have been standing in the store waiting for 20 minutes. When I saw that the new arrivals all had a dialing device in their hands, I realized that I was going to get a number. The waiter asked me to queue up again.
The fork-and-egg rice costs twenty mosquitoes. It s really a depressing meal.
Satay beef vermicelli was very good. Lots of satay taste, and beef was tender. HK style milk tea was excellent. Lots of black tea taste. Thick cut of HK toast with condensed milk tasted great. Small restaurant compared to other Phoenix locations, so expect a wait time of 10-20 min during the weekend morning.
That s right! Add toppings
A family favourite. They have an expansion menu of all of your HK cafe favourites. The location is a bit small though the turnaround is quick-ish if you have a smaller group. I had the beef in rice pot which was tasty. Also instant noodles with egg and sausage. Baked rice with ham and chicken (be sure to add the cheese). Service is good and food comes relatively quick. We ll definitely be back, if not this location, to one of the others.
Busy on Sunday lunch, took 15 min to get a table for 6 people Food: too much rice and MSG, average meat portion. The place is ok, food didnt wow me.
Order thick toast, it was cold and dry inside,
Service was defiant poor.. and slow.. and at THEIR pace.. definitely could have been better Had 2 empty tables but had ppl lining up and waiting.. Drinks came almost at the end of the meal.. The Satay Beef Rice Noodle was so-so, beef was tender the way it should be.. too much MSG in the soup.. The instant noodles they used was a cheaper brand.. IF, big IF, we come back.. won t be ordering those items again.. $22.50 plus tip for breakfast.. which is about average
A busy place, reservations are highly recommended. The hostess was very accommodating and assisting us to get tables for our large party. The food was great, tasty, and large portions. They came out quick and fresh upon placing the orders. Since place was packed, the staff weren t attentive, you will need to get their attentions to ask for something.
Typical Hong Kong style restaurants. Fast services.
Food was great. Portions are very big. We could not eat it all. 3 of us was like $55.00 Would come back again. Good was great
Mindblowing rude staff.
