Wagyu Beef, Sushi and Sukiyaki
My friends have been wanting to try Wagyu Suki 喜和牛 for a very long time. We decided to check it out for my birthday this year :) The menu has AYCE and Set Menu options. We opted in for the Unlimited Omakase Style Wagyu Dinner (108 pp) The food was amazing, came out very speedy, and the owner and staff were all friendly and attentive :) Recommend!!! Some must-order items from the Unlimited Omakase Style Wagyu Dinner: - Sashimi Platter - Sea Eel Sushi - Torched Wagyu + Foie Gras Sushi - Fois Gras Wagyu Pintxo - Japanese Style Lamb Rack - Crème Brulee - Pancake + Matcha lce cream - Haagen-Dazs Vanilla Almond Ice Cream Bar
I have eaten here twice in the service is attentive and friendly. The food is incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff are welcoming and work fast. This will become your new favourite sushi spot. Totally worth the money.
Overall, the quality of food was excellent but service was subpar. The restaurant may be worth trying for the quality of the food alone, but expect to have multiple occasions where the table is barren of food and having to wait around for more to arrive. 3.5/5 Food overall was of great quality. Sashimi platter, caviar wagyu sushi and grilled Wagyu sirloin in particular was the group's favourites, but almost everything else was great to excellent. Service left something to be desired. The service seemed slow on delivering orders to the table. There were multiple instances where my group was sitting at the table for over ten minutes without any food being brought out despite having placed an order with the staff. Additionally, certain items that my group attempted to order multiple of were not brought out despite no signage stating they were limited in quantity (as of this review, at least).
Dining at Wagyu Suki was an absolute feast! The fresh sashimi was a highlight—each piece was perfectly sliced and bursting with flavor. They also offer high quality sashimi that are not commonly seen in other AYCE. The unlimited wagyu was a game changer; it was incredibly tender and rich. The attentive staff made the experience even better, checking in regularly and ensuring our teas were always hot. The vibrant atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment, creating a lively and welcoming vibe. If you're looking for a place to indulge in top-quality Japanese cuisine, I can't recommend Wagyu Suki enough.
This is an all you can eat Wagyu and sushi restaurant. We took the sushi option. They got a selection of fishes and seafood like yellowtail, salmon, tuna, sweet shrimp, scallops and conch etc. but they also got a few Wagyu nigiris choices even with the sushi option. The food was delicious and everything was fresh maybe except the big raw shrimps and some of the cooked meat options was overcooked. But overall very good quality. We enjoyed our experience a lot.
We came on a Saturday night around 5:30, we had reservations but there was still many tables available. We opted for the sushi/sashimi AYCE for $108 per person. The selection was a bit limited, however, of the options most of the food was very good. The sashimi was very fresh. There was limited cooked options - we went with the lobster (just ok, a tad too much sauce) and the foie gras wagyu (nothing stood out about this, unfortunately… shouldve tried the lamb!). All the wagyu sushi was good. You can only have one order of the wagyu raw sushi. The owner was very friendly. The staff checked on us regularly. Initial impression is that it’s def pricey, but when you think abt quality of fish/dishes with Omakase, I would say it def is better quality than your typical AYCE. Overall, quality and service and atmoaphere were great. I still felt that a lower price would be more reasonable, even maybe $85ish. If you pay with cash, you get 5% off.
Food was good, service was great! Overall, I could return. We were a group of 3 guys, we definitely were able to get our moneys worth. Some of the sashimi did stand-out as really fresh, which we kept ordering. The Ama Ebi (big shrimp) was delicious, especially the first 50 pieces. But the following order after that was slimy and we couldn’t eat it. Th Conch sashimi was also ordered throughout the night. Tasted really yummy! Scallops were small, but fresh and tasty and was also ordered through-out the night. Some of the sashimi that night was below average, so we didn’t re-order. Not because it wasn’t fresh.. just because the sashimi grade was low (such as salmon not looking shiny and not having much fat). It’s not really all you can eat wagyu. Wagyu only comes in sushi/nigiri format. So the all you can eat is really all you can eat sashimi (no toro, no chu toro, no otoro at all). Not much expensive sashimi except the shrimp. The plating and service throughout the night was great! So the $108pp plus tax and tip isn’t really worth it unless you can eat enough shrimp. Never-the-less, we were 3 guys and we got our moneys worth.
We just went today, went with the sushi option and had a great experience! They have a fine selection of premium sashimi, nigiri and rolls, as well as wagyu and cooked items, we had just about everything on the menu and loved everything (except for the fish liver appetizer), food was fresh and service was great! This is definitely a pricier AYCE option but considering the selection and quality of food, it was well worth it. We’re picky sushi lovers so we came in skeptical, considering the AYCE options we have in the GTA… but we walked out satisfied, each with a häagen dazs bar in hand, we’ll definitely be back!
I recently dined here and ordered their sukiyaki set. While the quality of the beef was impressive, the overall experience fell short of expectations. The soup base was a simple soy fish broth that lacked the rich, sweet flavors typical of a true sukiyaki. Additionally, the presentation and format did not align with traditional sukiyaki, making it feel more like a hotpot rather than the authentic dish I was hoping for. Given the premium price point, I expected a more thoughtful approach to this classic dish. It might be beneficial for the restaurant to conduct some research into how sukiyaki is traditionally prepared. Overall, while the beef was excellent, the dish itself was disappointing.
Good
The shina aji and kapachi were a great recommendation from Sing! Also loved the conch sashimi and raw wagyu sushi.
If you re willing to splurge a bit this is a really good place for omakase style sushi and it s ayce. They have have two menus to choose from, you can either do ayce sushi/sashimi and then pay 20$ per person more for uni; or there is an ayce wagyu shabu shabu.
The old review has been reported, but it does not affect my continued comment on how rubbish this company is. For details, you can go to xhs Lightning Protection and give this company five stars. Can you speak with your conscience?
This was the first time in my life I ve ever waited over 30 minutes for food at an all-you-can-eat restaurant. First, you have to place your orders with the staff, and since they were clearly understaffed, it was hard to even find someone to take our order. It took 15 minutes just to get the first plate of sashimi. We finished the plate in under 10 minutes, but then waited another 30 minutes for sushi. when we asked, they explained that everything is hand-cut and made fresh. In the first 30 minutes, only a quarter of our order came out. It was incredibly frustrating. After waiting 45 minutes, we complained again, and only then did the kitchen prioritize our order. (Not sure if the staff saw my husband was using the phone counting the wait time) The staff explained that a large table was causing delays, but this isn t acceptable service. I paid over $100 for all-you-can-eat, and I was left waiting and hungry the entire time. The food itself was decent, but the sushi all-you-can-eat isn t worth it. You can only order wagyu as sushi, no other options, and after the first round, the quality of the sashimi dropped significantly. I d rather go to a cheaper all-you-can-eat with similar quality sashimi. What was worse, a table behind us (not sure if they were friends with the owner) arrived later than we did, but their food came out much faster, and the staff was noticeably more attentive to them. Overall, the experience was terrible. We waited forever, and the food quality was inconsistent. We definitely won t be coming back!
Amazing food, friendly staff, excellent service, nice environment. A bit pricy for ayce but its definitely worth it given the food quality and huge selection of sushi. Will come back again for sure
Bad attention from the waitress, second time I go, if they are going for services, terrible treatment
Overall it s 3 stars. It s not because of the any bad experience/ food quality etc. it s only because very limited selection of items. The only hot food that could be unlimited is the Miso soup . All the rest are raw/ cold dish. Please consider combine the hot pot with the sashimi menu or add more hot dish items .
Great place to get AYCE high quality beef hotpot! We had the hotpot set, love the wagyu in the set! Wish there were more variety of other foods in the set though.
We had a wonderful meal there. The shashimis were off high quality and super fresh!! Cooked foods are all tasty. Will go back again!!
SOOO DELICIOUS!! I just came back from Japan and was really craving wagyu and it hit the spot! Also made me feel I was still overseas. Everything is 10/10 Food
Great quality and services! I am not an ayce type of person. Not usually recommend ayce to any of my friends. This would be an exception after my multiple visits. If you are willing to spend the money for a meal of omakase, this may be something for consideration. They have items I like and would normally enjoy though the selection might be limited to some peoples perspective. Plan to return once in a while.
The beef was so fresh and tender, and the service was amazing and super accommodating! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for a bday celebration
Hiwagyu is undoubtedly a top-notch restaurant that deserves praise! From the moment you step into the restaurant, you can feel its unique luxurious atmosphere and excellent service quality. Every dish showcases the ultimate deliciousness of Wagyu beef. Signature dish: Wagyu Sukiyaki. The meat of Wagyu Sukiyaki is delicate and the soup base is delicious. After the meat slices are gently cooked in the soup, it melts in your mouth and is intoxicating. Service: The service staff in the restaurant are very professional and friendly, and can recommend the most suitable dishes according to the guests tastes. Their attentive service that doesnt discriminate based on the persons status makes the overall dining experience more enjoyable. Overall, Hiwagyu beef is not only impeccable in terms of ingredient quality and taste, but also provides an excellent experience in terms of service and environment. This is a restaurant that people are willing to visit many times, and the 100-point rating is completely deserved! Highly recommended to every Wagyu lover!
Amazing and quality is top notch!!!! Must try
Well.. we reserved a table for sushi AYCE which cost $108. Service is good, but food is so so, not worth for the price. 1/ Most of the fish are fresh, except for the scallops, which have a strong flavor 2/ Wagyu is okay, but don t eat too much as it will become greasy. 3/ I have to ask the waiter for help every time I order. I don t know if I have finished ordering. Why don t I order online? 4/ The grilled food is delicious 5/ There are too few types of desserts and they are totally unacceptable. 6/ Most of the fish are rare in many AYCEs. The pond fish and sea bream are really attractive, but the price is too expensive. I would rather buy sushi alone than pay this price.
Sushi and sashimi are very good, wish there are a bit more hot items options on the menu, the grilled items and uni nigiri can only order once per person.
Only came to try it out because recommended by YouTube channel, very disappointed go try it somewhere else,
Im so disappointed in the food quality for the price of over $100 per person. It feels like a scam, and I wont be coming back.
This place is a total scam! The abalone was absolutely stale, and the green vegetables had been stored for who knows how long. For $150 per person, it s better to make hot pot at home! I feel like vomiting after eating Food poisoning!
First of all, there are too few kinds of food in their house. There are so many limited dishes that each person can only eat one portion. It is very small and the delicious food is all in the limited portion. Secondly, each piece of sushi is wrapped with a large rice ball in order to fill the stomachs of the guests, and the others are all sashimi. The stomach is particularly cold. In short, the overall experience is not very good
The foie gras was bitter, the abalone wasn t properly prepared, the cabbage stems were black, and the mochi wasn t fresh. For $100+ per person, you can get better food elsewhere.
My wife and I went here over the weekend and could not be happier with the food and service. Our meal tasted fresh and definitely felt like this was a step above the normal AYCE places we have been to. I also wanted to shout out our server Emily who actually took the time to answer any questions we had and provided some great suggestions for us. Will be coming back for sure!
The food in general is ok. Maybe I have high expectations for the food quality at this price. If its around 50/person, that would be reasonable. I tried the sashimi AYCE and theres no salmon belly for this price range. The Amaebi shrimp is good but the sweet shrimp is a bit fishy smelling. The waygu is speachless. I rather eat at home. Never try the raw waygu sushi, the meat is greasy. The menu setup is questionable since you dont get any hot dish but only cold sushi and sashimi. I have to keep ordering miso soup to keep myself warm.... I probably will try the sukiyaki AYCE to give them a second chance.
We have been here for a few times. Food has always been good! We were there on a busy night this time and our table was kind of in the end but we didn t feel left out or forgotten at all. We want to thank you a server, Emily! She was so attentive and always come by to check on us and we wanted to order, she is always the first one noticed us! I had to ask her for her name! She made us feel so warm and welcomed with her genuine smile! Having an attentive server in a AYCE restaurant isn t always the case so I really feel the need to give her a shout out here :D good job ! Can t wait to go back to visit her and for more premium sashimi and wagyu! Food 10/10 , Service 12/10 !!
This is probably the best premium ayce sushi spot so far. The high quality sushi reflects the prices. It s reasonable for what they provide. I m definitely coming back here again!
The first round of tuna sashimi was very plump and delicious, but the second round was so sour and fishy that I almost vomited it. You can see the difference in quality by comparing the pictures. I really doubt the bosss character for being so petty with customers. I would like to ask who came up with the idea of salmon roe and sea urchin sushi. Eating these two things together will really maximize the shortcomings of both. None of the dishes that are limited to one serving per person makes me think it is valuable. The foie gras from the cow is not glutinous or fragrant at all. The beef tendons below are very difficult to chew. They are limited to one serving and they are not even wagyu. The lobster is the fishiest thing I have ever tasted. Even if I go to Costco and buy lobster tails and cook them in plain water, they won t be so fishy. The wagyu is quite average. There is only wagyu sushi and no other way to make it. It is very monotonous and boring. I don t understand why it is pointless to use wagyu as a signature. Isnt the catering industry in Toronto very involved? You cant see it here at all. Restaurants that dont want to make progress in the design and taste of their dishes and just want to be petty with customers will be a lightning rod for everyone they know.
Food was so fresh and tasted amazing. Owner was friendly. The servers could be more friendly. But our family loved it and we definitely will be back. Food
Very unsatisfactory experience in Wagyu Suki. First, the serving speed was extremely slow. Each time we ordered, we had to wait a long time for the dishes to arrive, which was very frustrating. Secondly, the quality of the food was disappointing. The food was not fresh, and some dishes were clearly left out for too long before being served, resulting in poor taste. Furthermore, the restaurant offered very few varieties of food. The selection was extremely limited, which is not what you would expect from a buffet restaurant, leaving us feeling very disappointed. Overall, this dining experience was very disappointing. I will not be returning to this restaurant, nor will I recommend it to friends. I hope the restaurant can improve its service and food quality, otherwise, it will be difficult to attract returning customers.
Slow & Chaotic Service * Unacceptably long wait times for dishes * Inefficient and cumbersome ordering process * Inconsistent order fulfillment, with dishes arriving randomly Food : 4/5 |
Amazing service and food, excellent quality and quantity!
The experience was great! The staff was very attentive. Food quality was great. The staff did a splendid job in making our dinner enjoyable. The only suggestion would be adding more food selections.
Sooner or later it will go bankrupt, the products are not fresh, arbitrary charges are a scam.
Everything is delicious. Just I couldn t eat much.
We booked a table here upon the recommendation of my friend that the food is really good. The owner was very friendly and accomodating, he gave us the booth table that I requested for since our toddler kids were coming as well. I thought the wagyu tataki was ok, it was really cold, almost maybe previously frozen? The scallop didn t taste fresh, it was not sweet at all. It was not fishy but a bit tasteless to me. The wagyu sushi was good and so were the rest of the sashimi. We really enjoyed the conch and emaebi shrimp! Those were the two items that you cant easily find elsewhere. Everyone can only order one uni item and unfortunately the uni I had didn t taste very fresh/sweet either. Overall I did enjoy my meal here but definitely an occasion type dinner. The presentation of the sashimi and wagyu sushi was very aesthetic.
Great tasting experience. Good value. The sushi was fresh and the ingredients are premium.
I assume the man named Nelson serving us is the owner since he gives off the vibe he s in charge. Anyways he was super generous with serving us with quality sashimi. Very happy that we didn t have to eat all that filler rice. We definitely got our money s worth from this place. Wagyu was also very good but we had more of the seafood instead. The conch sashimi is something very special since not every japanese restaurants have it. There s this yuzu pepper sauce that was on one of the sushi pieces and I asked for a sauce plate of it and he gave us quite a bit. The desserts were mediocre but still fine. You can talk to any server and they will serve you unlike at some western restaurants, you get assigned a server and can only ask your own server for service. I would definitely repeat this restaurant if I didn t try to eat till I m stuffed. Not like me to eat at all you can eat restaurants. Also if you bring cash, they offer 5% discount. 2 people came out to a total of $215 with taxes. Tips extra.
High quality sashimi, good service
We were served bad wagyu. Its slightly hard to tell because it s served on sushi rice, but we ordered an extra piece and confirmed the beef was sour and rancid. The service was ok. They can t keep up with the number of tables they have, although the staff are great. Shortly after (30 mins) we had left we got really sick and had to spend the rest of the night in the bathroom. It might ve been the wagyu, the uni, or the fish - who knows, but it was a expensive meal to have end up like that. I don t bother with this place, you can t eat over $100 in wagyu and even if you can, you might be feeling the consequences from the other end for the night.
Don t venture within 20 miles of this place. Never have I gotten such bad food poisoning from a sushi place and paid over $100 for it. DO NOT GO! Food
Limited amount of food choices even the price is $100+ per person. I cannot believe how limited is the vegetable dish options (the only option is edemame, no salad or any cooked veg dish) and the amount of appetizers. Even you are paying more than $100 pp, you can only choose 1 or the 5 sushi with uni and 1 of the 5 grill dishes. Dessert is disappointing, bulk buy creme brulee from Costco and non-fresh mochi. For the wagyu beef, the quality is good but missed our orders for 3-4 times hence service is not at par with any premium sushi places. The Sashimi are not fresh as expected too. Quite a disappointment.
I went here for my birthday dinner and everyone at my table was very pleased by the experience. The food needless to say was amazing (the fois gras unagi roll was ). The service was above and beyond, as we never needed to ask them for another order because they would see us with the menu and just walk over. The atmosphere was great for an ayce restaurant. I definitely recommend.
Got the $109 menu and it was pretty good if you want to try wagyu beef, only one plate of the Japanese wagyu per person & the other meat was AYCE
service and atmosphere was warm and welcoming, definitely 5 stars for both of them. had to deduct 1 star from the food for the following reasons: 1. they didnt have enough uni so we couldnt add that to our ayce dining experience 2. the sweet shrimp was especially fishy, almost as if it had gone bad and left a bitter taste in our mouths. 3. the wagyu striploin was tough and overcooked - though I do recommend the foie gras wagyu, their foie gras was sweet and buttery just right. aside from these factors, the rest of the meal was delicious. - most sashimi options were fresh and had a good variety available, really enjoyed the Shima aji - wagyu sushi was delicious - maki rolls especially green onion wagyu roll was the highlight of the night - traditional desserts such as the pancake and mochi were amazing - appetizer dishes were yummy as well
This is the worst meal that I ve had in a very long time. Please listen to the other one star reviews on the I restaurant. I don t understand anyone that would rate this place higher than a 1 star. The quality of the food is literally worse than AYCE. Everything took a long time to arrive and ended up not being worth the wait. I genuinely feel scammed for the price that I paid versus the quality of the food that I had today. The only good part of the meal was the Haagen Daz and that s probably because it wasn t made in house. This was a big disappointment and I will not be coming back.
Second time here and this time it was for my husband s bday. Amazing food and the sashimi quality was really fresh! The wagyu quality was great and although it is pricey we will definitely go again. We recommend getting some sake to go with the meal as the wagyu and sashimi gets really rich. For the quality and price it s definitely worth it! We especially like the servers and manager they were really friendly and always checked up on us. If you are looking to rest yourself and enjoy some nice sashimi, sushi and wagyu, give this place a try :)
very enjoyable, ive always dreamed of ayce with omakase level fish quality but i didn t think it would be possible. this place was awesome cant usually eat sushi at most ayce due to the fish quality this place had great stuff. there are groups of items you can only get 1 of which is a bit annoying though most of the stuff i really like wasn t limited so it was fine the hotate and and raw wagyu sushi were my favourite the sashimi platter was also amazing. hoping to go back soon to try there sukiyaki menu. also nice sake selection
Tried their Ultimate Unlimited Wagyu Sukiyaki and love the meat quality. The Japanese A5 only 100g per person but the Australian M8 and US SFR are unlimited and both are my favourites. Shrimps are fresh and great taste and the abalone are unlimited. I will go back and try the Omakase menu.
The quality of the food is worth the price. Food selection is not a lot. I normally have a Sushi AYCE menu and fewer hot dishes to order.
they need to either improve quality of their food or just try something else because very soon they will close down due to slow business. ate dinner here only two other customers. the food tasted like a $50 ayce and the wagyu was nothing special. one of the rolls they grind the meat and it was so disgusting i spit it into the napkin. overall i was excited at first but everything tasted very mediocre. price does not reflect food at all
I had the AYCE Sukiyaki dinner. The Japanese A5 Wagyu and Australian M8 are my favourites Will definitely come back again
Scam, pure fraud: 1. The hotpot and sushi menus cannot be eaten together. If you want to eat together, you have to pay 200+ per person. There is no reasonable pricing. 2. The first round of sea urchins will be golden and fresh, and the later ones will turn black. 3. The food is served slowly, which is a common problem in self-service, but I think this price should not be like this. 4. There are a variety of extra charge options in small fonts. They were not informed before sitting down. The fonts are very small. 5. Choose from a variety of dishes and the portions are small. It s the most delicious thing and you can t pay extra for it. 6. The things on some sushi are so small, such as foie gras, which is almost tasteless and very thin, just like the decorations. If you can add money to make it bigger, you can accept it. Im thinking of adding more. No exaggeration, no malicious slander. Please judge for yourself. Advantages: The sashimi is quite delicious.
The sashimi is not very fresh, the scallops are fishy, which does not match the price. The desserts are Dorayaki, Daifuku or Popsicle Haagen-Dazs, which are too perfunctory and not worth the price. . .
Its pure fraud. There is no service. The waiter ignored you for half an hour and the ingredients were not very fresh. I spent 600 yuan on a hearty meal. If you are constipated and have too much money to spend, you may consider this option. Home
I love that this restaurant keeping their customers volume and size of store as of now so they are able to provide perfect customer services. I wouldnt prefer them to enlarge their store like other AYCE sushi restaurants if you know what I mean! But for sure I hope they will open sub stores later on as this place is a must to have everyone to experience their good food and good service!
Trash, food not fresh at all, all brought from super market. Very tiny lobster tail, same size as my car key. Please don t go.
This review is gonna be an essay and not straight forward at all. I cant comment on the sukyaki/shabu shabu as we didnt have it but I will say ... even though Ive given a 4 star overall star rating, my actual rating is more of a 3.7 or 3.8 star rating tbh (also cuz we can only give 3 or 4 stars but i do feel like its better than 3). We collectively ordered 80-90% of the items on the menu so I have a general sense of whats good and whats maybe not as good? Where to start? My friends and I came here recently to celebrate 2 bdays jointly. We saw that the menu had 2 tiers for AYCE wagyu and also a la carte which was intriguing to us based on the items that they were offering. The resto is located inside Metro Square and the unit itself is really not that big. Its got around 8 booths running the length of the walls and one long table running down the middle of the resto that can fit ppl on both sides. The base AYCE tier is $98 (at the time of this review) while the $108 AYCE tier basically includes shabu shabu. The restos value proposition is that it serves omakase quality sushi and sashimi as an AYCE option. We had a party of 12. 8 ppl opted for tier 1 AYCE while 4 ppl opted to just order a la carte. Because of this, the 8 of us had to sit separately from the other 4. While the sashimi and sushi WERE good, all of us thought that they were just a lil TOO chilled for our liking. Bringing the fish down a bit closer to room temp wouldve been our preference. The fish was certainly fresh, Ill give them that. However, we all thought that it played second fiddle to anything that involved unagi or wagyu. Of all the torched wagyu nigiris, my fave would have to be the wagyu + truffle nigiri or wagyu + foie gras nigiri, with the raw A5 wagyu nigiri coming in 2nd. The fois gras + unagi maki and green onion wagyu maki were also VERY tasty. Unagi was a major sleeper hit for all of us. Very tender and completely melt-in-your-mouth texture. The green onion wagyu roll also had the most flavour out of all the wagyu I tried as well. In general, I do think the wagyu items couldve had a bit more flavour overall which is why I actually liked the green onion wagyu maki roll the most out of all the items on the menu. It was dusted with togarashi spice which really enhanced the flavour of the beef and made it sing. I also liked this item the most because it had a nice contrast of temperature. The outer part of the roll was hot, seared beef while the inside of the roll was a creamy, cold wagyu mix. The grilled wagyu striploin was so juicy but I do think it couldve been cooked a lil less (more medium rare as opposed to medium well). Every person gets one uni nigiri included in the price but you can pay an additional $20 on top of your base price to get unlimited uni sushi. Dessert was surprisingly pleasant actually! Most of them were quite unique. I had only one haagen daaz ice cream bar (these things are pretty expensive if you buy em in a grocery store or supermarket so I was tempted to just eat like 4 of them), creme brulee and 6 scoops of ice cream (3 matcha 3 yuzu sorbet). The yuzu sorbet flavour is not listed on the menu fyi so just ask the server for it. TL;DR: If you really like unagi, shrimp, scallop or wagyu this resto will be worth it (especially wagyu). If youre a stickler for true omakase level fish in your sashimi or sushi then you might find it slightly weird at how chilled the fish is. But after all, wagyu is in the restos name so it kinda makes sense to me you would come here and fill up on wagyu rather than fish. Would I come back personally? I think I would ... but only for a special occasion (and if someone else picked it for dinner) due to the expensive price. Also, for me personally, if I did come back Id probably stick to ordering unagi, shrimp, scallop or wagyu items constantly before rounding off w/ dessert. If you can eat a lot and eat a decent chunk of wagyu, you can make that $98 worth it. To reiterate, final rating is 3.7 or 3.8 out of 5 stars.
Amazing food quality and service sashimi is really fresh and beef is very tender (5 seconds is enough). Service staff is very friendly. Extremely value for money. We tried both sashimi and seafood all u can eat menu on separate days. Highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing! We had such an amazing time here. The food was excellent! The fish was fresh and the rice was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The servers were very attentive, every time we finished a plate they would always clear it and they are always refilling our tea pot. Once we finished our 1 round and placed our order for the 2nd round, the manager did apologize and mentioned that it might be a bit longer (we arrived at 6:30pm with less guests and by the time we ordered our second round the restaurant was full). We didnt have to wait more than 10 - 15mins and our 2nd round of food to came out. We also really appreciate our server assisting us in placing the quantity of sushi. Since there were 4 of us, he said to order 2 pieces each of the wagyu sushi and we can see what we liked...that was an excellent idea and we didnt feel like we were wasting food at all. By the 2nd round we all tasted all the different flavors. If youre looking to have the typical AYCE experience of lots of food and fast this is not the place to be. All the items here were carefully crafted and meant to me savor and enjoyed. Come with friends, chat and enjoy a good meal without trying to make bang for buck. Well done!
Honestly went in with an open mind, didn t have much expectations and was pleasantly surprised! Great choice of sashimi and sushi and everything we had was pretty fresh. What surprises us the most is the quality of the sushi rice, their sake is also imported from Japan and you won t find it in LCBO. We went for my birthday and made me a little wagyu sushi cake, super cute of them! Overall highly recommend and will definitely go back!
The food was fantastic I enjoyed nearly everything on the all you can eat sushi menu. They also offer an all you can eat hot pot option. The Wagyu dishes were exceptional, including the Wagyu sushi rolls. I highly recommend trying the Green Onion Wagyu roll; it was the standout among all the plates I ordered. While its a bit pricey per person, Id definitely return for special occasions. I rated the service four stars because the food took a bit long to arrive, but overall, I really enjoyed my experience at this place.
Had a wonderful experience at Wagyu Suki. Even though its a all you can eat, its better than any AYCE Ive tried in Toronto. Yes, its more expensive but its well worth the premium. We never felt rushed. The service was excellent We got try everything on the menu and definitely left feeling satisfied! Highly recommend you try
Fresh and delicious, good service!
We had an absolutely delightful experience at this restaurant! The quality of the food was exceptional, with each dish impressing us both in taste and presentation. Service was prompt and attentive, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, even helping us navigate the extensive menu to customize our orders. Special thanks to Amos, the manager whom helped us that evening, whose exceptional service made our visit truly memorable. The ambiance of the restaurant was charming and relaxing, adding to the overall enjoyment of our meal. We cant wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. We were shocked when their ratings were not 5 stars already!
Excellent place, everyone is so nice it makes me feels like home. Food is fresh and the wagyu roll just melt in my mouth
Good food and service
Wagyu Sukí is an absolute gem for anyone who appreciates top-notch dining. The selection of wagyu and seafood is unparalleled, offering the best quality Ive ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable, adding to the overall exceptional dining experience. If youre a fan of wagyu and seafood, this is the place to be. A truly delightful culinary journey that I cannot recommend highly enough! I hope you find this review helpful! If you need anything else, feel free to ask.
Wagyu Suki $98 Sashimi & Sushi AYCE A5 Wagyu Sushi Please mass order this! Its the most delicious item they have on the menu Other Wagyu sushi are impressive as well but the taste sensation of A5 Wagyu is the best! Salmon Sashimi Best item from the sashimi menu. Uni + Ikura: Uni Nigiri Sushi(One per person) best combination for Uni Nigiri OMG Overall, everything on the menu is very tasty. I would love to go again and try their sukiyaki next time. Special thanks to our waiter, who is Lambert, for our wonderful experience!
Not your average Japanese AYCE! Food 3.5/5: Not your typical Japanese Ipad buffet joint. No fried appetizers, limited rolls, and mostly sashimi and sushi. BUT, the sashimi was very fresh. Beef and salmon tataki were perfect sliced and seasoned beautifully. The waygu sushi was delicious, and the desserts were ok. But in my opinion it s not worth $98.00/person with the very limited selection. But you re paying for the wagyu with that price point. Service 5/5: probably the only restaurant I have been to where all waitresses and waiters are friendly. Everyone kept checking on us and even gave us good recommendations since it s our first time. Atmosphere 3/5: The place is cozy but wifh the price you re paying you d expect the place to be a little nicer. Could be better in my opinion. Overall 4/5: Would come back and try the hotpot wagyu. Will recommend if you re into fresh sashimi and love wagyu.
Excellent Service! Extremely high quality in both Wagyu and Fish! AYCE $98 Omakase Sashimi and Wagyu Assortment, Service, and Quality is top-notch. All staff is very attentive, cordial, and prompt ~ very consistent and uniform! Nelson and Amos as Front of House ensures a positive experience - very well managed! Highly Recommended! Thank you for one of the best dining experience in Toronto! Dietary restrictions: Excellent choice for pescatarians and high protein diets! Parking: The parking is plentiful, however, the plaza is extremely busy
Two separate menus $98 AYCE Sushi sashimi and waygu sushi menu $108 AYCE waygu sushi and sukiyaki menu Review based on $98 menu Did not add $20 for ayce option on the sections where it is one piece per person. Amazing quality of food, service was lovely and professional by Nelson and his team. Small intimate restaurant thats clean and beautiful with all ita dishware and interior design. A decent drink menu with sake and cocktails available Unfortunately only one washroom stall per gender however, clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend for a lovely meal and would definitely return to try the other menu
I had a rather disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food wasnt very fresh, the service was slow, and the menu was confusing, leading to an overall unsatisfactory dining experience.
My experience at this restaurant was pretty average. The serving speed is slow and the ingredients lack freshness. What makes me even more disappointed is that the so-called Wagyu beef is Angus Beef, not real Wagyu beef.
The average person eats this thing for nearly 200 yuan. The ingredients are all frozen products wholesale from a seafood market somewhere. The food is not good and expensive. Three people ate it and three of them got diarrhea.
We made a reservation online with deposit and arrived at 6pm on a Friday night. There were not a lot of people at that time and we were given seats in one of the booths. Environment and atmosphere were pretty nice. We then agreed to have the $98 ayce menu. Sashimi was fresh and we ordered a few rounds. However for the wagyu sushi, i think the vinegar in rice was overpowering thus could not really taste the wagyu flavour. The green onion wagyu maki was really nice though. And i liked the sea eel sushi which was sweet and less fatty than the unagi. We heard from our friends experiences that there was no time limit. They were able to eat till 10pm with the same $98 ayce menu. However, we were told to have our last order at 8pm. The servers did not tell us there was a time limit and i did not see anywhere on the menu that there was a time limit. We were disappointed on this and would suggest the restaurant to be clear on this. Overall a 3.5/5 experience.
Been here a few times and just recently tried the ayce. The choice and selection is pretty good and the seafood is very fresh. Just check the menu before deciding to come as the selection is not your usual ayce and some may consider it limited, but note the selection is more high end. I highly recommend this place with great service as well.
There were four of us. We entered the restaurant at 7:20 pm and chose the sea urchin and beef buffet. We sat there until 8:30, but we didn t see any wagyu or sea urchin. In an hour and a half, the four of us had a total of small portions of sashimi, two plates of edamame, four portions of soup, and two small plates of beef. Whoever goes will be the big grievance! What the hell, I didn t eat any wagyu or sea urchin! Sitting there staring at me for an hour and a half, this kind of shop should be closed as soon as possible. Nothing! Dare you charge this price? Do you really think everyone is a leek?
Dont come, this store is a scam. We came to eat at ayce, but one plate of sashimi and two plates of edamame were served within an hour. We came to eat wagyu and sea urchin, but they were never served. We told the boss and manager about the situation, but we didnt wait in the end. After taking too long, we were still not served, so we finally decided to leave. The boss gave us the original price menu and asked us to pay without apology. Food quality is not fresh either. All the guests are complaining. This restaurant is just scamming people out of their money
Four people, two plates of edamame, two plates of beef and a plate of sashimi were served in one hour. The whole process was quibbling and explaining what was wrong with the chef. We wanted to leave, but they gave us the original price? The sea urchin sushi that was served to us later was obviously not fresh at a glance. (It can be seen that the waiter is quite helpless. The service attitude of the waiter is really good. To be honest, the full tip we gave later was because of the waiter and not because of you. I just want to say be good, we will not open this shabby store. One more update, it costs RMB 100 to reserve a seat, that s fine. We didn t mention it when we checked out. Finally, when we asked, they said they would cancel the reservation after get off work. I can only say that this answer is a matter of opinion. The most fun thing is that when we were pushing the deposit, I happened to see the chef spreading rice on the dining board. If I guessed correctly, the yellow thing was the sea urchin we had been waiting for an hour. We were at 8:50 The second I entered the restaurant and the one I left at 8:54, I witnessed the guy wrapping the sushi in two minutes. If I had enough time, I think I should be able to witness how the guy spent fifty minutes cutting the sushi.
Came here to try the $98 AYCE omakase style wagyu dinner. Sushi and sashimi was good, the quality was great, but the sushi rice isnt quite omakase level. Appetizers were ok, however they tasted like they were pre-portioned and stored in the fridge. We also tried some of the uni sushi, which was just ok. The uni was darker than Id expect for the price point and had a mild bitter aftertaste. The service started off great, staff was friendly and the manager brought our first orders out and explained each item. But after we placed an order for our second round, the service quickly dropped. We waited 15 minutes and no food arrived, when I asked a waiter, he sent over another manager who apologized and said the kitchen must have forgotten our order. He took our order again, this time we ordered ice cream too. 30 minutes later, still no food. A lot of other tables also started complaining about the long wait times. When I told the manager weve been waiting 30 minutes for just a scoop of ice cream, he quickly went and got one for us but with no explanation. Shortly after, we got most of our second round of orders but by then, we had no appetite. We paid the bill and left but none of the staff or managers ever apologized for the wait or came to say goodbye to us as we were leaving. Reading previous reviews, maybe they just had an off day today but for $98/person and the level of service we received, we dont feel like we got our moneys worth and we dont think we will be coming back.
Long story short, experience was fine at first until our second batch of orders was put in. Food took over an hour to arrive to us, they gave us a deadline/last call time which was within 2 hours, you do the math. When asked about the food, only reason given was because they were busy, but every single table we saw had issues as well so at least that gave some comfort. The old man (assuming the boss), never spoke with anyone when these issues happened and left all the actions to the staff to resolve. Listen here, if you dont have experience opening an all you can eat sushi/wagyu restaurant then just stick to cooked food and the area youre good at lol To be frank, the food was decent but definitely not worth $100. Youre paying for sashimi, sushi, wagyu sushi, and a handful of appetizers. If Im paying $100, I expect more cooked food options instead of rice with every piece of food I order. No wonder you guys make so much money, youre basically selling cooked rice Gotta say its a smart business move to make quick money, especially when youre not willing to discount your customers time. Shady, but smart! I dont recommend this place, food was sub-par. Keep in mind, its $100 per person. Youre paying $100 for a waiting game. People who rated the restaurant high probably got there early when it wasnt as busy. The experience was worth $50/person at best, wont be coming here again. Happy we tried it though at least now we wont be curious about it
Excellent Service! Second time here for AYCE Wagyu and Omakase for $98! Best Value! Despite what other people seem to review the restaurant, its definitely a hidden gem for the price range and quality! It is an unbeatable price for service, quality, and atmosphere! Service is superior, efficient, and cordial! 5-stars on Service! Nelson (owner/GM) does frequent walk throughs to ensure service. Staff is attentive and efficient. Extremely patient staff. The staff clears the table very efficiently after each course, tea is refilled promptly to maintain temperature, Sake is kept warm, the servers will continuously monitor your tables to clear and ensure your orders are prompt. Quality: The Wagyu is perfectly cooked whether you are ordering grilled or torched Japanese A5. The tataki is properly marinated and the slicing of the wagyu beef is proportionate and done authentically. The Nigiri has Wagyu with selections of Tobiko, Caviar, Foie Gras, Garlic, Truffle, or simply A5 in the wagyu selections. Unagi and Sea Unagi is definitely a differently selection that is not your usual. Other selections of Nigiri and Sashimi includes Amaebi (extremely large in size with tobiko), Shina Aji, Hotate, Hamachi, Kanpachi, Otoro, conch, and Ika (which is not your usual AYCE selection) with Salmon, Tuna, BC Tuna. The special offerings include Uni, I had the Uni+Ikura uramaki and was fresh, delicate, and excellent! The grilled Wagyu was cooked to perfection! Atmosphere: Medium lighting, partitions between tables and booths for privacy. Clean and classy! Dietary restrictions: Pescatarian, Celiac, and Keto friendly.
I normally don t do reviews but I have to admit my experience with the food and the staff here are excellent! Many would argue about the timeliness of the food delivery but I personally think there is no issues there! This is not your regular AYCE restaurant because they serve quality foods, and good quality do take time to prepare. The sashimi and sushi are prepared perfectly, temperature on the sashimi is kept in perfect coldness, rice and meat proportion of the sushi is on point. So definitely no complain on the quality. I have visited this place more than twice and everytime is perfect. Tip on ordering here is If you want eliminate the wait time, make your second round order when the first round arrives! Managers and staffs are super friendly, very hard to find these kind of service nowadays no matter how much you pay. I would highly recommend this place and would give them more than 5 stars if I could. This place beats all the AYCE Japanese restaurants out there. It s a bit on the pricier side but I feel the quality of food you get is well worth it!
My family tried the premium Wagyu combo set last night, the food was phenomenal, the service was superb. Everything was exceeded our expectation. Definitely will come back again.
This restaurant deserves a much better rating than the current one. We had the supreme set and everything was beyond expectation. The food was delicious and the service was good and efficient. Sashimi was fresh which is surprising given they are a wagyu place. Would definitely come back.
I dont understand how the reviews are so low for this place. We tried their supreme sushi and wagyu set and it was delicious! The sushi was fresh with lots of variety and the Wagyu had lots of marbling and was high in quality. Dont listen to the poor reviews and ignore the low overall score, I highly recommend the restaurant!
Good food quality and service. We came here because of the soft opening event with discounted price. The portion is good for girls with 8/10 full but probably not enough for guys. However, everything is tasty and will recommend those who want to come here for special occasions.
An unforgettable wagyu experience. Started with seasonal apps, wagyu roll, torched wagyu sushi, Japanese Wagyu A5 sliced, Wagyu Shabu with Australian M8 Wagyu and US SRF Wagyu, finished with taro icecream. Single Sets, Duo Sets and a la Carte available. Amazing experience and service.
I think the previous bad reviews were from previous management because the service and food were phenomenal. Got the set menu for 2, $98. Perfect amount of food for two people (M&F). Only thing that would be better is if they served tea instead of water but thats minor!
The foods are fresh, and the vibe is above average. not sure why they get such a low rating
well .. not bad
Got the 98 tasting for 2. Great value. Good food overall.
Went in for my partners bday celebration and the temaki got us sold The temaki and sushi quality is unexpectedly high (almost comparable to Omakase especially the temaki but much more affordable). We had the Duo Set for $98 and ordered a couple more temakis from a la crate. It was a delightful meal. The taro ice cream at the end was creamy and delicious. Service was great as well. Will definitely go back again. Ten thumbs up
I recently dined at Wagyu Suki, and I highly recommend it. Although the menu may be pricier, the generous portions and high-quality ingredients make it well worth the cost. The sushi and hot pot were both delicious and fresh, and the overall dining experience was excellent. One thing to note is that a deposit is required for reservations, but this is a small inconvenience for the exceptional service and food provided.
My mom got diarrhea right after dining here. I suspect that it was due to the raw wagyu tartar, raw beef sushi or perhaps the sashimi.
We had a great time in this restaurant! The quality of the food is worth the price and experience. The sushi were all great, and the service was top notch. We would definitely come back. Parking: Parking was easy, and there were a lot of space.
Not authentic kansai sukiyaki, not even close. Nice presentation does NOT mean good food, only means to get u pay more and ig friendly to scam more people in. We were so looking forward to our dinner as they seemed to be the only one in GTA that offers kansai style, which they describe as yaki. Kansai style is supposed to cook with a piece of beefs fat, sugar and leek to start. Once the sugar is caramelized, then cook the big thin slices of beef usually wagyu, then add a little bit of sukiyaki sauce to finish cooking... but none of the above happened... they just cooked thick cut but small piece of meat by itself but nothing else... with that price range they cant even do it properly... $300/2 ppl dinner, money wasted... If u want kanto style, there r other options in gta with same quality same presentation but much cheaper. Tho service was good and they pretend to be authentic but they are clearly not. Nice presentation, but quality was not there. Very disappointed, will not return.
We received excellent service at this restaurant, and our server was more than willing to accommodate our allergies by modifying the set menu accordingly. We were particularly impressed with the wagyu beef sashimi, which we absolutely loved! The portion sizes were filling, and overall we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
Staff are nice. I like sushi. Wagyu here is soft but I think the way they cook should be better. Give it a try. Food
Its actually quite delicious, Xiaogui. Its not a bad idea to come here occasionally. The total after tax and tip was $280 for two people. Very good service
Delicious~
This place is a little gem. Food was really good. I don t know why there arnt more good reviews. Prices arnt ridiculous, it s very fair for real Japanese wagyu. The apps are really good, I loved the wagyu tataki. Kid-friendliness: They made space for my stroller that s annoyingly big.
Very good service! And the wagyu is amazing!
Ive eaten here twice, once at the sukiyaki hotpot and once at the sushi buffet. I dont know why this restaurant has bad reviews on some platforms. I think its unfair. Overall, the evaluation is very high. At this price, I think it is no worse than other Wagyu buffets. The menu may not have as many categories as those cheap buffets, but there are basically no dishes that need to be deliberately avoided. Instead of giving you a lot of dishes, most of you will not order them. The conch sashimi in the sushi is delicious and crispy. But there are a few things to pay attention to. I forgot to give feedback when the waiter asked. 1. The wagyu sushi is not sure whether it is because the cook is not skilled in the business or for other reasons. It is a little overcooked, the beef is burnt, and it is slightly undercooked for 2 or 3 seconds. will be better. 2. The sushi rice is a bit loose when you pinch it. The rice basically falls apart when you pick it up. It should be because you didn t pinch both ends of the sushi when you returned it, causing the middle of the rice to not be tight enough. I don t know if the manager at the store I went to at the beginning quit his job, but when I went there recently, a different person took over.
Nice place, you gotta be here for their fresh dishes!!
Meal service is of a very high standard. Although when I came, I couldn t order some because there were not enough ingredients. But the store gave very good compensation It s not an exaggeration to say that I will fly to Toronto specifically just to eat here in the future. It s been a long time since I ve been willing to leave a five-star review for a store
The AYCE choices are sushi (includes Wagyu sushi) or the sukiyaki + Wagyu sushi. I tried the sukiyaki and it was really great. Everything was fresh and the meat choices were heavenly. The only issue is, as someone else also pointed out, after a while this started to taste like a glorified hotpot and the fatty nature of the meat became a bit overwhelming. My suggestion for anyone not really into hotpot or sukiyaki is to go for the sushi AYCE choice as the Wagyu sushi were superb and I expect the fish/seafood AYCE choice to be just as good. Overall the service was quick, attentive, and the place was clean and well run. Definitely would recommend.
Highly recommend this place! The wagyu sukiyaki is so good , the flavourful broth complents the wagyu perfectly. Very friendly staff, especially the manager(or maybe the owner im not quite sure)! Loved the experience for our anniversary dinner.
Went for the $98 omakase style AYCE. Everything tasted pretty good and service was great. They provide and serve genmaicha tea which made the meal even more enjoyable. Would give 5 stars if they they had more selection, especially fried foods like shrimp tempura, but that s just what I m used to at regular sushi ayce s haha Service slowed down a bit at the end but otherwise a great experience.
I tried the $108 all you can eat sukiyaki + wagyu sushi and it was really good. The quality of the meat throughout the whole dinner was very good and consistent. Service was all pretty good. The only small issue I had was the amount of time it took for the sushi pieces to come out. (I guess a lot of people ordered the ayce sushi menu) Other than that everything was good.
Tried the unlimited Omakase Wagyu Style Dinner for $98 per person and didn t regret it. The sashimi is definitely worth it, especially if you love conch and amebi (sweet shrimp). Theres few styles with foie gras, truffles and uni, which adds onto the value. The grilled items were pretty good. Its limited but for what there was.. its really not that bad. I think I was disappointed with the dessert options out of the whole meal as these are all costco purchases, so nothing unique or an add on value to me. Overall experience was good. The atmosphere and ambiance were good. The customer service was good for the most part but I felt a bit pressured and didn t have much time to decide what I wanted or having the menu explained to me.
Great quality for price. Little bit slow. But it s a good ayce.
A place where you can have a variety of Sashimi All you can eat menu with two different options which suit different needs. A little bit pricy though
It took 20 minutes to serve a dish, and the server didn t say anything when asked . I didn t know, I thought I went to TNT next door and just bought it. It cost more than 100 yuan per person to see you showing off to me ,
Did the tasting menu, very good. I didnt have sashimi tho ..
Tried the testing menu with Australian M8 and Japanese A5 Wagyu. Experienced attendance with Excellent food and service! Will be back with more friends next week.
All you can eat quality
A very pleasant surprise visiting this restaurant. Sashimi was so fresh, felt like it was just fished out of the sea. Very impressed with their wasabi sauce, never tasted anything like that, was not overwhelming like the regular wasabi but sweet-like, very unique. And their Wagyu beef, was out of this world, especially when you can experience it in so many different ways it s cooked. Would recommend this place anytime. 5 STARS for quality of food and service, well done!
Very good, worth trying! Invite friends and they will be very happy! Said he would come again next time!
High-end Japanese cuisine with fresh ingredients and high cost performance. The environment is elegant, clean and tidy, tall and bright, and the service is attentive. The most expensive package is only 138 and worth a try
We met a new store by chance when we got together with friends. The ingredients are fresh, the environment is elegant, the service is friendly and it s great value for money!
Decided to give Wagyu Suki a try after seeing it recently opened in my neighbourhood. Tried the $135 tasting menu and it was definitely worth it. every item was very good, especially the foie gras. the service was exceptional as the servers were very nice. Will definitely be going back in the future
Taste like all you can eat but triple the price
I went to eat with friends a few days ago. It was not as good as expected. The food was not very fresh and the taste was not good. The price was too expensive. I will not go there again in the future.
Had a great time with friends here! Looking forward to their seasonal specials definitely need to go and try it out!!!
Poor quality. Good luck.
Very nice place ! Beautiful and delicious food , waiter was very nice and funny ! We had a great time here and we will come back !
Its delicious and the price is very good compared to other wagyu restaurants. There are many main edible varieties and they taste good.
I spent $380 for 2 people. So expensive! Terrible food. Not fresh. Umi is not fresh either. Don t go there anymore!
A lot of paid promotions on social media. Bad material, bad boss. They don t even allow the customers to tell the truth.
Worst place ever, doesnt worth the money at all. Poor quality of wasabi, uni, and wagyu. Not sure if they are from superstore at all.
What the hell
We had a course meal, the quality was great. Impeccable service. Would love to come back!
Good experience overall, although it s a bit pricey but food quality was good
Great quality. Fresh ingredients. One of the few places that serves wagyu in the area. Highly recommend. Service was great too
I came here with no expectation since reviews are not the greatest, but I still want to give it a try anyway. We ordered the premium sets and to our surprise, we liked it a lot! Everything was great except the Wagyu sushi. Service was attentive. Overall, I enjoyed the dinner. I gave 4/5 because it s a little too pricey than expected.
Good wine and beef!
Don t listen to the bad reviewers. We were worried it wouldn t be that good but all the ingredients were incredibly high quality and we were incredibly satisfied with the entire experience, even with the price point. Would definitely recommended
Service was excellent, feels like dining at a high end restaurant which we didn t expect. Quality of food and presentation were also over our expectations for the price. I would definitely return soon and recommend to anyone. We love the sushi suki set meal deal!!!
I came here two months ago. The sea urchin is not fresh, and the fish is not fresh either. The boss not only ridiculed my dissatisfaction as a customer, but also deleted the comment. Maybe he is afraid now that the ingredients are all fresh, but it is a pity that he treated me The apology still hasn t come, and my character is worrying!
Delightful and one of the best deals in town if you are looking for Japanese wagyu beef. The prices of course are not cheap but considering what the going rate is and the current state of inflation for food, these prices are very reasonable. For less than $100, you can get a combo that includes sushi selection, and both Australian and American wagyu beef to be made into sukiyaki. The highlight is to simply have the Japaneae A5 wagyu beef in a yaki grill. Prepared with a touch of truffle salt, it is melt-in-your-mouth goodness. The ambience is also very nice - though I would have preferred some more refined Japanese music over the J-pop like music they got. But service was nice and the space is comfortable.
Went with two other friends and had a great time. They have good sake selections, and we love the appetizers. Tasted three different Wagyu with sukiyaki and I like Australian the best. Will visit again.
The ingredients are very good, the sashimi is very fresh, the snowflakes on the Wagyu beef are very fine, the quality is very high, and the service is also very good. Give it a five-star rating.
High quality seasonal sashimi and wagyu. Definitely come back again.
Good environment with friends, love wagyu the most!
Overall it s a good experience we tried the $298 3-4 combo. The entrée feels like a legit Omakase fancy experience and the wagyu is fresh & amazing. After that I feels like I m eating an all you can eat hotpot When Sukiyaki came still the meat is amazing I mean it s wagyu what can go wrong. But the sukiyaki itself ain t that authentic Japanese cuisine..and for the Oden we thought gonna be like daikon etc boiled in a fancy but we got is bunch fish ball/fish cake like the ones in all you can eat hotpot and dessert only a spoon of ice cream I feel like the targeting position of this restaurant is vague.. like they got fancy entrée and fancy tableware but everything else feels like an all you can eat..
Ordered the premium set for 3-4 people. We liked the taste of the appetizers and the appearance of it. 5* Then we had the waygu sushi which I never understood why restaurants have it but it came along with the set so we just had it.3* Then comes the waygu which was within expectations.4* The Oden threw me off like I was putting it all together at home which I was expecting a bit better quality.2* Finish off with taro icecream.4* I know they are kinda new so I didnt have high expectations but other than the manger everyone else seems to be new to the industry.
I honestly don t understand why the rating was so low. I got the $98 set dinner for two, the sushi was beyond expectation (usually the quality is no good in hotpot shop)! The beef was great and not too greasy! Cozy environment with good service! A bit more veggie will be perfect
