The food is so dry not worth the price! Chicken is not even hot the rice is cold!! Im not going back into this place again if you want to waste your money come and try it.

Great food but very pricey

Great little family-run place. I went on a Friday afternoon before a long weekend, a little past the usual lunch hour. The food was still quite fresh and tasty. The manner of the lady and gentleman who were there was quite pleasant and welcoming. It made an ordinary work-day lunch all the more enjoyable. I must also add that the men s washroom was very clean, which was great to see also!

Awesome. A mom and pop kind of shop. Friendly, all fresh and prepared right in front of you. I prefer supporting these restaurants over the big corps.

This is my favorite shawarma place when I worked in Markham. Very few places offer cabbage as a topping. I dont like lettuce

EDIT again (3rd time). Been coming here for 7+ years. The owners are great and lovely people. The food is excellent but overall the price has gone up considerably and the value is just not there anymore unfortunately. What used to be a $12 meal pre-pandemic is now $21+ after tax. They raised the price of the shawerma platter considerably and include both a pita and a drink. I think this is a way for them to charge more but I do not want to pay for an extra pita or a drink. I would rather try and save money where I can. Total comes up to $21.41 after tax for the platter which is about $4 (~25%) over the the market price for a comparable meal. I used to go to this place weekly pre-pandemic as my work is near by but now I hardly go anymore because of the price.

Always great food. Fattoush salad with added Falafel. Yummy! Love the hot peppers.

The platter was quite filling. Portions were big but it s lacking in seasoning; chicken was bland. It comes with a can of pop.

very light and delicious chicken shawarma sandwich that I got delivered. Reminds me of doner kebab in berlin - heavy on the cabbage and vegetables with a good balance of meat and great taste overall.

Friendly staff does not make up for terrible portions of mediocre food. Paid $13 for a pita that was smaller than PitaPit s petita. Chicken was burnt, veggies were dried out and hummus did not look like hummus. If you are hungry do not go here.

The restaurant was pretty busy and food was good. During lunch hour the staff strength was less which delayed the order. It took more than 20 mins then the notification came up as ready for pick up. Got delayed because of that. Otherwise good one with good food.

This placed used to be good years back. Lots of portions for the price you paid and the food tasted better. There used to be long lines. After the owners changed a few years ago, its no longer good. Definitely recommend other places.

Stopped in and ordered a chicken shawarma. The chicken felt like leftovers and day old. Very hard and dry, like it had been sitting on a grill for hours. Even the toppings were wilted and not fresh. I would never go back, they should have been honest and suggested something else.

My fav comfort food. Food is worth the wait. Used to be busier at lunch... now everyone works from home. Go here.. you wont regret it!

Paid $27 dollars for tabuleh and chicken salad. When I questioned it I was told the side of small chicken was $17 even though on the menu a shawarma platter which included rice, chicken roasted potatoes and a salad was $ $18.95

During my recent visit to Pitalicious, I was deeply disappointed, primarily due to the customer service. Right from the onset, the staffs lack of attention was glaringly evident. They exhibited a level of rudeness that was not only directed at me but also at other customers, and even Uber drivers. This kind of behavior was unprecedented in my dining experiences. Their unprofessionalism cast a shadow over the entire experience, making it rather unpleasant. Its a shame to see a restaurant with such potential being undermined by poor customer service. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements necessary changes for the betterment of future customer experiences.

I grabbed takeout at Pitalicious, and enjoyed my chicken shawarma platter! Highlights of the meal were the chicken and the toum. The portion was also massive! I will be back again sometime when I need a shawarma fix.

Not worth the money. Spent $40 for two platters and as per the description they did not have the roasted potatoes neither they offerred some replacement. The kebabs were not kebabs it was just grilled chicken with no seasoning. The guy said he added some extra rice as they did not have potatoes but it was just a normal serving. Would rather spend $40 on something thats worth the price and taste good as well. I wish they did a refund for the unworthy food.

Awesome pita

May 2021 - The staff are wearing some plastic mask that hovers an inch in front of their mouth and nose but it is completely open above and on the sides. Yes, they cant cough or sneeze *directly* on your food but the mask does little to stop aerosols. They definitely chose comfort over safety. I also witnessed one of the staff handled cash with a glove, then wipe their gloved hand on a towel and proceeded to serve food. The food was decent, the staff was friendly but Im not going back.

Great couple running this place. They are very friendly and personable. The food is also very very good. In my opinion, its better than a place thats been (makin what youre cravin) for a few years. My favourite is the Shawarma Mix Platter. Be careful, the Large is a big portion...

Heard so many good things about this place. However, whenve tried it the first time was very disappointed, the food was very bland, which you dont usually expect from shawarma place. As far as I know the ownership has changed recently, maybe this is was a reason.

Always looked for a chance to stop by and try this place because it was on the way to another location. This place is easily accessible and this is only one benefit. The people and owners inside are absolutely worth trying their business. The customer service along with the friendly faces make the food worth having again. Once youve purchased some food from here , this is where you know it was worth the time and money. Great value , great quality . Will always come back again.

Best Falafel in town!

Long overdue to leave a review/rating on this place. This mans food is extremely good. There are lots of middle eastern restaurants in the GTA-some good, some bad; but when you go here you can watch and surely taste, the pride this man puts into his food. Not a huge menu-and thats probably a good thing. Pre-Covid, a comfortable place to sit down and have a good bite. I feel terrible for this man and wife that their business has likely gone way way down in the past year or so with all going on, but commendable that they are sticking it out, and that you can still surely taste the quality, and pride they have in their food. Also, the food is extremely consistent-a sign of a good place.

Worest shawerma ever tested not fresh and does not taste like shawerma at all

This is my GO-TO lunch takeout spot in the area. Quick, friendly service with very good food. The platters are big too, definitely get your money s worth!

Incredible food. Authentic, old school, FRESH, and just an amazing flavour. They do an open round pita and stuff it, and the flavours are just incredible. Friendly service.

This establishment has switched owners some time ago, and quality wasnt up to par back then, but I was in the area recently and decided to give it another go. Still not as good as what the previous owners offered, but the new owners have stepped up their game and the quality is much better. Fresh ingredients and made to order, the beef/chicken pita is my go-to sandwich. Although the toum (garlic spread) is not as punchy as the original owners version, and I think the hot sauce has changed, the sandwich did satisfy my craving. I was hoping to grab the lemonade too but it wasnt available; It was made fresh in-house, and really made the meal extra special. The previous owners probably kept that recipe to themselves and took it with them. Would I come back? If I had a specific craving for it, yes. I wish their garlic spread had more kick though, and to be frank, I would come back just for the original garlic spread.

Love this place! I work in the area and never tried it because it doesnt look as appealing on the outside, if I am being honest. But it is warm and inviting, the staff are very friendly, and the food is great. I have only gotten the falafel wrap but it is the best in the area and I have tried many other places around here. And it is only $6.75!!! great food, great staff, great value.

Nice atmosphere - very clean, inviting. Friendly and very pleasant owners - food is very fresh; we really enjoyed their fries!! Very light and fresh tasting for sure. Highly recommend - their rice was excellent; lamb kabob could be a little softer. Tasty food - fresh.

Staff are very friendly and you can tell this is a regular spot for people. They do not skimp out on portions here but I did notice beef in my shawarma was a bit dry. I d be interested to try the chicken as I know the beef had been sitting out for a while so that could ve been why it was dry.

Stay away from this place. They decided to tell me they ran out of rice after I ordered. And adviced me that its okay they will replace it with lettuce. I was hungry to I was like whatever. The shawarma was not shawarma. It was uncooked grill chicken. Horrible food horrible service. Dont waste your time going here. The previous 5 star reviews are probably by their friends or people that ordered a pop only .
