I really like green tea, one of the few Jiangsu and Zhejiang dishes in Toronto. I often come here to order their vegetables, braised pork, cauliflower and barbecue. They are all home-cooked dishes and are delicious.

Updated on October 30, 2024. They have recently expanded their menu. More toward Cantonese dishes. Dont be surprised to see wonton noodles, congee, casserole rice, and stir fry goodies. They are also keeping their popular Guangzhou rural dishes. Theyre pretty tasty. Food: 4.5 out of 5, love what I have ordered. Delicious and nothing too heavy. Something new and interesting. Food Presentation: 5 out of 5, definitely a place where you should bring friends and family together for gathering. Ambience: 5 out of 5, its quite nice, love their decor. Its quite comfortable place. Service: 4.5 out of 5, great service, wait staffs are doing their best to explain to us. I guess we went there after peak hours. So we could have have better dinning experience. Price: 2.8 out of 5, its moderate. 3 is reasonable, 2.8 is borderline reasonable. Overall: 4.5 out of 5, its right there. Definitely a return customer. This is a restaurant with Hangzhous style fusion food. It blends with rural cusine from Hangzhou and modern cusine. Fascinating experience. My suggestion is always ask for help if you have no idea what to order.

Tried their signature crispy chicken on hot plate, the presentation was good. The tea pot was one of a kind, very heavy lol

Came here for lunch, and after ordering, I was told that they only accept cash. When asked how much it costs to use debit, the waiter said it costs three yuan in total. The final bill was 4 yuan per meal, which was nearly 50% more expensive. And no one told me that there was an ATM at the door. Never again.

The restaurant seems to be in transformation with additional food menu that offers Cantonese food which I think its a plus on top of their original Shanghai food menu. Not sure if its permanent or not but for the time being its cash only.

It was all filled with blood and they were told to return it to us. As a result, I was refused a refund at checkout and said it was right to have blood. I didn t even take two bites of this dish, so I was told that we should go home and fry it before it s cooked

The roast chicken is delicious , but the service attitude is not up to par. I sit on the side and have to raise my hands to the service staff, but no one comes. I also need to go to the front desk by myself. I hope the boss can strengthen service management.

Eggplant with minced meat, this dish is really delicious and not to be missed. The eggplant was cooked very well and the minced meat was just right, fragrant and smooth. It can be said that this dish perfectly demonstrated the restaurants culinary skills and was a highlight of my trip. Every bite made me feel the freshness of the ingredients and careful cooking. I sincerely recommend it to everyone. The ice cream toast, although the name sounds interesting, actually tasted a bit bland. This dessert lacked a unique selling point, and the combination of ice cream and toast did not bring the expected surprise. Perhaps the restaurant can make some more innovations in ingredients or presentation to enhance the appeal of this dessert. The dining experience in this restaurant is quite good, and the service is very attentive. Although some dishes have room for improvement, overall I was satisfied with my dining experience.

It s super delicious. I ve been here many times. The fat beef mashed potatoes are really a must-order. This time I changed it and ordered the snowflake beef tongue, which was also delicious and tender. The portion is quite generous. Highly recommended!

$3 for rice and it comes in a kiddie bowl that would leave you hungry. I complained about the portion and was told its normal size. Not a smart business decision given how cheap rice is. The stir fried beef ( ) we ordered had so much fat in it that we stopped eating after 2 bites. With the price you charge, try to use leaner or at least more marbled beef. In Canada people are health conscious and no one likes to chew on fat.

Its rather challenging to find a restaurant that ruins every dishes of your favourites. Chef got no idea of how much salt is in a dish, and tasting some of the dishes I saw myself as a kiddo first time trynna cook. Low eq service people. Environment is not bad.

The beer duck is very spicy and very delicious. I also particularly like the taste of the sweet and sour short ribs. The environment in the store is quite good and not very noisy. The service attitude of the clerk is great. The beer duck was also separated on the plate for me.

After ordering, we raised our hands many times and every time we passed by, no one came and we just put the take-out boxes on the table and left. The waiter said: The packing box is on the table.
