Great place to meet up with friends and grab some apps and drinks. Service is always quick and friendly. Happy Hour is great and I love the sliders. Food : 4/5

Update: I had reached out to the email provided in their response and it s almost 2 weeks with no response. It s appears to be just a tactic to come across to patrons as though they care to rectify customer concerns. Not impressed. I had a very disappointing experience during my visit this past Saturday night. My food and waiter were great however I feel very uncomfortable with and question the lack of sanitation that goes into what they serve their food/drinks out of. I was served water out of a glass used by another patreon. Only after drinking the water almost in its entirety did I notice that the cup was dirty with visible lip markings and dirt all along the to top of the glass. The first manager (a caucasian female with a red hair in a ponytail) that this was brought to, just walked over acknowledged that she could see that the cup was used and returned with a new glass of water in what appeared to be a clean glass and then proceeded to just walk off. No formal apology, no asking if there was anything she could do me make that occurrence right, just nothing. After expressing my disgust to the waiter, he called another manager over who bless her heart, formally apologized and provided something as a courtesy to make me feel better. Normally I go to the Don mills location and decided for the first time to try Markville out. I do not recommend this location based on the experience I had along with the attitude I was met with initially as a result of an in house issue.

I was at Joey at Markville for lunch today and Liberty served our table. She was apparently a relatively new hire but the service was impeccable. Liberty was very attentive and made sure our drinks and water were topped up. She s a good addition to their team and Joey remains a strong choice for a great meal and service. Dave Dietary restrictions: Servers are always careful to ask about restrictions or allergies.

Joeys is always fun with its Inspiring atmosphere, friendly service, and a diverse menu that caters to all tastes. I like their sushi/Maki options, the fish taco, their bowls, and if I want to be ten years younger, their burger. In the past I have tried, butter chicken, steak, lettuce wrap, etc. Always good.

Cindy was amazing tonight. She made our special night all the more so. Thank you.

We went for a work dinner but they didn t give us the table until 80% guests arrived. Food was good but the service was not good at all. I found the servers quite rude as they were not very pleasant and responsive. Good came very late after ordering. We had to wait for the desert for 20 minutes and then it came as incomplete order. We had to remind them constantly for utensils that they seem to forget to provide even after reminding I ordered coffee with cream separate and the server got me only coffee and no cream at all. I reminded her for cream and she forgot again so I decided to drink my coffee as black as it was getting cold and we had to leave The worst was that one of our colleagues came late and they refused to take her order. our boss had to request them so she could order her food. I don t know if they wanted her to leave without eating or something!! I think they should train their servers to accommodate the guests a little more.

Where did the vegan options go? Until recently, Joeys had a few vegan options on the menu, which made the restaurant progressive. Today, I learned that those options no longer exist when the server kindly informed me that the two vegetarian options could not be accommodated to be vegan friendly. The restaurants recommendation was salad with tofu. What? What makes this experience more frustrating is that we were seated for almost an hour before learning this. I was willing to just sit there, while my friends enjoyed their food. Yet, to show solidarity, my table cancelled its orders and we walked out. Joeys ... This is not acceptable.

It s been a while since I ve been to a Joeys! Joey s is, without a doubt, one of the finest dining experiences I ve had. We love it here. May is the most attentive, positive, warm, person. We always request May when we have events as well and she provides the best service and the timing is always perfect!

We decided to have our Christmas lunch at Joeys this year. The ambiance of the restaurant was great, from the setup to the music in the background! The staff, notably Anastasia, Cindy, Tylah and Ally were amazing. They were quick to adapt to change (especially when we had last minute changes to the menu and to seating arrangement for children), were professional, and always had a smile on their faces! I also like how when my company s employees were asking for things outside the scope of the party that they reached out to me first. The staff were kind enough to set up tables for us to display our raffle gifts and made sure that the automatic door was left open so as to let me carry stuff into the restaurant without having to go through the revolving doors. Vegetarian options: The lunch menu had various vegetarian options from apps to mains which gave our party the ability to choose what they like rather than being stuck to one option. The Korean Fried Cauliflower was a big hit! Kid-friendliness: One of our staff came with her 1 year old kid. I was notified about this late and spoke with the guess service who was able to assist with the seating for the child quickly!

The service was good, but the food portions are small for the high price tag. I ordered a Club Sandwich for $25 - which would not be so bad if it was a regular large, layered sandwich. But the one here is on a hamburger bun. No layers, just a small (very small) piece of chicken and two slices of bacon on a small hamburger bun. The pasta my friend had was equally plain and small for similar price. Very poor value for very simple food.

Server refused to seat me even when the restaurant was mostly empty before 5:00pm. I have an arm sling and just wanted to have a quick bite at the regular table. She told me there s many reservations at 6:30pm and can only sit me at a bar chair. I told her I didn t need like 2 hours to eat and she still won t seat me. I feel like if you aren t dressed formally they are very pretentious and won t let you in.

We asked reception girl that we will give the kid a surprise. Thus, want them send the birthday cake to the table during the party dinner. Unfortunately they gave our kid the birthday cake once he stepped in the restaurant, which screwed up the whole thing. We know they don t have obligation to provide such service even most restaurants can do these for their customers, but since you promised us to get things done, in such low EQ way? We wish didn t ask them to do this.

recently visited Joey s Restaurant for a birthday celebration, but unfortunately, my experience was not great. The fries were stale and broken into small chips, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, the service left much to be desired; our server could have been friendlier and more attentive. Overall, the food quality did not meet my expectations, and I don t think I ll be returning.

Had an amazing dinner at Joeys! Catilyn was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and service. Ill definitely be back!
