It is a little walk from where you have to park but its not too long as you can go through the hotel . The server; Bill was amazing . Definitely will be coming back

We were seated next to a large party that was very loud, I asked very politely to see if we could be moved, waiter gave me some excuses that no matter where i go it will be loud but hell take a look anyway and nothing was available. There wss an issue on the menu, a pre fixed menu was available where you get a starter, main and desert. The main said steak with garlic crust followed by adding on a lobster tail or shrimp for extra. I paid the extra for the lobster but they removed the garlic crust, when I askdd the waiter he said its garlic crust or shrimp or lobster, no where did that say OR and i paid extra for the lobster, why remove something. I usually love ruth chris but this was a poor experience, even on our way out no one was acknowledging or smiling, the energy was just bad overall in there for what looked to be a slow Thursday night. Wont be coming back to this location which is sad cause I live beside it

I had an excellent time at Ruth s Chris steak house! We had a reservation and got seated right away. Within minutes after sitting down we got hot bread to our table which was delicious! We ordered our mains, I got a petit filet - it melted in my mouth. The plate it was served on was HOT so the food stayed warm the entire time I was eating. We got two types of fries, regular and shoestring. Regular fries are your typical fries that you see everywhere else fresh cut, etc. shoe string fries aren t the fries I m use to seeing, they were extremely small and thin, kind of like hickory sticks. They were way too thin for us to enjoy. I prefer the regular fries Parking: We parked on the street a bit away from the restaurant. Was a pain

Very good expieience here. I never came here before but my friend brought us here today it was very very good. I used to go to Jacob and Harbour60 for steak I never came here before but wow here is so good it is better than both those places. The beef is so good quality it it so yummy I will start coming. Here from now on, The inside nicer than both Jacob and Harbor Jacob and Harbor food quality is so bad now. Here is so good I will recommend to everyone

Great steak house. I ordered the T Bone steak, and it was cooked perfectly. The service was great. I would have given a 5 star, but they forgot to put a spoon with the French onion soup. I had to ask for a spoon. Other than that, the server was on point with our drinks

This was my first time at Ruths Markham. We ordered a few appetizers to start and they were delicious. The steaks were spot on and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. Luke and Liam took such good care of our table. Although the prices were higher than we had expected, it was still a terrific experience. The food is 4.5 because of the prices, however we will definitely be coming back again to celebrate my sons birthday.

Did you guys get new management? It s not why does the food taste worse than the keg????? This location was bankrupt so if the management did not fix the food quality and the server attitudes.

Food was good. They had alot of depressing things on the TV( news showing heroin addicts and later on the slums in other countries). Our waiter caught an attitude when we asked for separate bills! Then he Said it was too much for him to do. He made us do his job and figure out the bill.

Food and service was good, but grossly over valued. You can get the same quality food for less at other non franchise steakhouses. This place is a cash grab in comparison. $480 for two is a bit egregious, especially when we didnt buy any drinks.

We had the best service by Chris. Steak is a bit greasy because it was placed on a sizzling plate with lots of oil. So the steak will keep on cooking and stay hot.

I celebrated my birthday at Ruth s Chris in Toronto, with my closest friends. While the dining experience had potential to be great, our waiter significantly impacted it, leading to a rating of only 2 of out 5. All of my guests expressed disappointment, with one feeling bullied & harassed during our visit. One issue involved the water served to us. Five of our glasses contained what appeared to be white, fluffy particles. When we requested a placement, the waiter questions our concerns, making us feel as though we were exaggerating the situation. Also, we noticed there were gnats and flies that landed on our glasses & plates. To make matters worse, some of my guests did not get new glasses until the end of their meals. The main issue involved my friend the only gentleman in our group, who felt that he was being targeted by the waiter, Tapash. When he requested the same drink as the rest of us the waiter responded by saying he would serve him what he believed was the best. At first we laughed thinking it was a joke, the waiter ultimately brought a different drink than what my friend had ordered. Despite feeling uncomfortable, my friend chose not to complain, as the alternative drink was acceptable. But, it was clear that he, & my other guests, felt uneasy. To add, he ordered his steak medium rare, but the waiter insisted he would receive it medium well. Without causing a scene, another guest graciously swapped meals with him, as my friend felt embarrassed and did not want to be difficult. We felt increasing uncomfortable addressing these issues. As it was my birthday my friends had arranged to split the cost of my meal. When it came to settle the bill, the waiter insisted that my male friend pay for my meal & was unyielding in his request. Despite everyone explaining they had agreed to split the bill, the waiter already included my meal on my friends bill. When another one of my guests offered to help pay, the waiter dismissed their offer & put my friend on the spot. Although my friend felt uncomfortable with the situation, he graciously paid for my meal & refused to accept reimbursement from the rest of the group. The only great thing was that the food was hot, my guest didn t enjoy their meals. I am very disappointed that was my friends first time dining here. This was my birthday celebration, & horrible & compared to Ruth Chris reputation & my experiencing dining at other locations in the USA. I am posting this here because when I first made this complaint, the manager reached out to me & asked me to further explain the problem. After speaking he promised to send a gift card as compensation. I received the gift card in the mail & had it in its envelope in hopes that it could be used in a further date. I have been saving it to take my same friend who had a bad experience back to Ruth Chris, so they can have a better experience. Fast forward to last Tuesday October 29th, it s the birthday of my friend & I offered to take them to the Ruth s Chris markham location. I called to confirm my reservation & let them know I had a gift card & opened it & it was expired . I had been saving the gift card as a treat for my friend only to find out it was expired. This past when Tuesday, I called the Markham location, a woman named of Lauren told me there was nothing they could do about it. I asked to speak to a manager because we had no idea this gift card would come with an expiry date, I was told no, then I would receive a call back & never did. When we tried calling back no one picked up. We decided not to eat here & that we would just repost our old review as well. Im disappointed that introduced my friends to Ruth s Chris & that I haven t received a call back from your location. Looking back, we should have left after the attitude we sensed when we requested our waters and drinks to be changed. It is very important that everyone is treated fairly & that everyone enjoys their meals & time spent. With the amount of money I spent eating at Ruth Chris my friend & I did not deserve to be treated unfairly.

Always come here whether a special occasion or a craving for the shrimp voodoo, every time is a good experience, great service, good atmosphere and delicious tasty food.

I havent been to this steakhouse in many years and I have to admit that I was somewhat underwhelmed with the whole experience. Nothing was bad just everything felt average. I was more disappointed that I could have went to the KEG and spend a fraction of the money and get much more with a comparable if not better steak. We booked last minute on a Saturday night. No table reservations anymore so we sat at the bar. The bartender was so nice and friendly. Service was superb Food was great as usual. A+++

Sadly the food was not to my liking.. it tasted like airplane food and the smell here was so weird and the service wasn t bad but could ve been faster with giving the food it took 40 minutes for our food to come and barely anyone was here

Excellent experience. Quiet vibe, friendly and professional stuff. Food comes with high quality and tasty, especially when the plate is extremely hot. Parking: A few outdoor parking spots behind the Marriot hotel. Indoor parking is also available. There are plenty spots behind the Cineplex cinema across the street.

Excellent service and sides were great! But this place is called a steak house and they did not deliver a great steak. They make the steaks in the oven then they put it on a hot plate with boiling butter. This is not how you should cook a steak especially if you pay premium price for it. If you do go ask to put the steak on a cold plate so it doesnt overcook and put the butter on the side. I got the tomahawk ribeye but my cut was also too fatty. Overall, I would not come back here for steak but the service was great. Just if you are going to charge over $200 for a ribeye at least include sides with the steak...

The food is extra extra salty. For the price you pay, definitely not something I will come back for. Was really looking forward to it for my anniversary dinner, but it was a disappointment. The lobster mac and cheese has no depth in flavor. If anyone is looking for a steak house I would suggest looking for alternatives.

We celebrated my mom s birthday tonight here and we were served by Bibek, who was amazing! He was friendly to my young boys and offered them complimentary juices at the start of our dinner. Ruth s Chris never disappoints in terms of their steaks, but the Tomahawk steak we ordered tonight was beyond exceptional! The meat simply melted in our mouths like Kobe beef! Bibek brought my mother a delicious slice of strawberry shortcake for her birthday and my boys two large scoops of chocolate ice cream! All on the house! My picky kids kept asking me if we could come back again next week bc they loved everything from their Caesar salad to the calamari and the sweet potato casserole. (Making reservations online was also super easy, and I would recommend making them since this restaurant can get quite busy!)

It was a birthday for someone special to me and i gotta say, their hospitality and food quality was outstanding. Honestly the best steak i ever had. Bibak was so nice and very knowledgeable over what options we would like from the menu. Bibak literally made my steak half medium rare and half well done when i couldn t make up my mind cut the slices for me before serving. Sarah was the GM of the place and saw me struggling with taking a selfie and offered to take photos for me. Ambiance makes you feel special, like as if you are a star in a movie for real.

One of my favorite restaurants to visit while I m in Markham. Great food and the staff are wonderful, especially Adrian. Very attentive and always making sure I m alright when I m sitting at the bar.

Heres a short review for Ruths Chris Steakhouse: I recently visited Ruths Chris Steakhouse during their happy hour from 3-6 pm, and it was an exceptional experience. The steak sandwich was perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful, paired with creamy mashed potatoes that were simply delicious. Went to this location for my dads 65 birthday. It was an amazing experience the food was great & service phenomenal. I made reservations clarifying that it was my dads birthday. From moment arrived the host & waiters all greated my dad with Happy Birthday. Our waiter gave good honest feedback on suggesting dishes & explaining menu well. Service was fast as the tables were cleaned in very nice teal environment! Ordered lamb, chops, steak, lobster macaroni, crab fried rice & crab cakes 10/10. In end happy with service & food as good. Will be back for sure, for alot events. Thanks again for making the birthday special !

Amazing service. The staff was so knowledgeable about the menu and wine. I am pleasantly surprised and very pleased with our dinner here. I am look it forward to our next visit. Steak was done to perfection , and the cocktails are unmatched.

Unbelievable steaks and great wine list.

When I first came in the cozy and somewhat fancy atmosphere was clearly set up, the staff was really friendly. We got to our table and the fake candle along with the style of the pepper and salt bottles just contributed to the restaurant s appearance. I d recommend the steaks and crab cakes but if you want something real sweet get the cheesecake or cream fillet (I forgot the full name) for dessert. In my opinion the dessert is too sweet but that s probably because I eat fruits much more than sweets. The service was surprisingly quick and the waiters/waitresses were most definitely experienced. The steak I ordered was served in a hot plate (don t touch it it s hot) and the steak was juicy and tasted great! I also ate the crab cakes which were really good too and chopped salad. Accessibility to this place for wheelchair users is easy, there are no stairs in the place but the doors to the bathroom may be a bit heavy. Overall I d definitely recommend Ruth s Chris Steak House and would go again for the crab cake or salads. Vegetarian options: No. Just no. It s a STEAK house. Parking: You might need to do some walking back to the steakhouse. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids set here too and most of the seats aren t too tall. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs but the doors may be heavy.

Went for the first time to Ruth s after being recommended by many of my colleagues. Was greeted by waiter who has zero personality. The food was very much overrated. The steak is plain and the plate was steaming hot. The waiter did not even warn me that my plate was super hot. The waiter was not friendly and was condescending. Overall, not worth it to pay 90 dollars for a messed up steak on a plate,that s so very hot that u will burn ur hand off. Just go to the keg next time

Chris our server and his team provided flawless service, meat selection, wine and all pairing recommendations. This steak preparation and quality is the world standard for all steak houses. 125.00 for a steak that 3 people could share and very few steak houses could even come close to in flavour, tenderness, temperature and butter finish. Bravo team - great work. A labour of love, experienced.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. The service was great and the food itself was good. However, I was disappointed to find that the main course dishes did not come with any included sides. We had to purchase side items separately, which added to the overall cost of the meal. Additionally, the restaurants tip brackets start at $40, which I consider to be extremely high. For the two of us, our total bill for dinner ended up being over $300. I understand this is an upscale establishment, but I feel the pricing is quite unreasonable, especially given that basic sides were not included with the main dishes. Overall, the service and food quality were good. But in places like these gratuities should be included and the server should ve explained to us that the main dishes did not come with any sides.

The food are too steep compared to other steak houses

A big party tonight! Before talking about the steaks, we need to talk about the plate because it is HOT 200 degrees. It is so important because the cold plate or room temperature plate will cool down the steaks and squeeze the juice out of the steaks. Then you end up with a plate of cold steak sitting in a puddle of red bloodish sauce halfway through. Wait, lets talk about the bread first. Somehow, it is very tasty. Who could have imagined that complementary bread could be this good! Crunchy outside and so warm and soft inside. I ate 3........ I have to keep telling myself, I am here to eat steak, not bread. Calamari and Cesar salad are normal, nothing worthy to talk about. Alright, the steak! The regular 6 Oz filets are the most basic cut, yet it is soft and cooked to perfection. The 16 Oz strip loin is rich in flavor. The 11oz ribeye is softer than strip loin, a bit more fatty. I ordered the 40oz potter steaks, shared with my wife and daughter. Oh, it is so good. The broiler shears the outside to lock the juice inside. The steak is flavorful, but spices did not overpower the overall taste. You can still taste the natural flavor of beef. Medium rare is my favorite, pinkish red and warm in the center, perfect. The price is definitely on the higher end, but the quality justifies the price. The side dishes are good. My favorite is the creamy spinach. The services are top-notch as well.

Just held an event at this location! Went well and without a hitch. Jacob Hazlett on the event planning team put everything together and made the event great!

Went for Fathers day dinner and 2nd time visiting this location. Ordered the rib eye, crab cakes and calamari. Food was good and would recommend these dishes. Service this time around was a bit slow, considering it wasnt too busy. The steak has a bit of a different flavor and taste, because of how its prepared.

My family got a private room to celebrate a wedding dinner and we were served by Bill. We had requests for food allergies and halal and they were catered to with precision. The food quality especially the juicy steaks were amazing and Bill made sure our food was served timely and piping hot. Had dinner on Saturnday night, 2 filets, Sshrimp, oysters, potatoes and cauliflower. Spent the next 40 hours throwing up from food poisoning. I spent $600 to get food poisoning. Even thisnrestaurant is no longer good, never again.

Our second time here at this location. Our server Paul is excellent! Aside from knowledge of the menu he also has other knowledge on items that he shared with us such as Lea and Perrins. I truly enjoyed my time and hope to see Paul again when we re back!

I hosted a function in one of their private dining rooms. it was quiet and allowed for a great ambiance. Winston (Manager) ensured that everything was ready for my event. The food was great- (best steak I ve ever had!!) and our Server Chris was amazing. There were 15 of us yet our food came at the same time, all orders were correct, each course was cleared quietly and unobtrusively, and any desserts being take. home were packaged and waiting without my guests having to ask for them. I couldn t have asked for a better venue or a better Server!

I was at Ruth Chris enterprise rd yesterday and they refused to open up a bottle of Camus for their special offer. Offered 2 glasses of Decoy instead. What a joke. I was at Hilton downtown location last Saturday- much better service.

Came as a group of 12 and we had a nice room reserved. Atmosphere and decore were on point. Servers were always friendly Food was superb. Had the seafood tower which was incredibly fresh. Variety of apps as well but the ones that stood out was the sweet potato, mac and cheese, calamari. For the mains, some of us had the New York steak and others had the stuffed rotisserie chicken, both options came with lobster tail sides. While I would usually say steak > chicken, Ruths makes both of these very well so you cant go wrong with either. And the lobster tail side surprisingly complimented the main dishes. Definitely planning on coming again and thank you for having us! (Wish I took more pictures because the food was plated very well. Too busy eating and chatting which yall can take as a good thing)

Loved our meal. We had drinks that were made perfect. We started with baked Oysters, which were to die for! He had the ribeye and I had the filet. We had salads which were a bit overdressed for my liking by my mistake for not asking for lightly dressed. We couldn t eat dessert which was supposed to come with our take away (as you could never eat that much food!) but we never got our little cheese cakes. All still worth it! Thank you!! Amazing service from Luke and all the other wait staff! Oh and yes we like our steak blue!! Perfectly cooked.

Ruth Chris has been my go-to steakhouse for a few years, but things have been off the last few times Ive visited. it seems like theres quite a bit of staff turnover, but more importantly, the meat quality has dropped significantly. The ribeye Ive ordered dozens of times over the last few years is not the same. The marbling, fat distribution, & flavour, is currently lacking. I guess its time to find a new steakhouse.

Great place for steak! I enjoy coming here and the staff are all so knowledgeable about the various cuts and grades of meat. I always order my steak medium rare and have them Chicago sear it, and they never disappoint. I always recommend the oysters, and crab cakes as well.

This was a very memorable first visit for me the service was amazing and very informative as well as helpful the restrooms are very clean and organized . I went for a birthday dinner and we dinned in the food was hot and tasty , with full portions sizes . I ordered the broiled salmon which I wish had more vegetables added to the plate I truly didn t enjoy the canned corn added to the plate it would have been nice to have real corn on the cob . I don t think the mashed potatoes were real potatoes as well but they were plated well and fresh . I found this restaurant to be very price gouging and not a place to bring your children . Not sure if this is for limited time but there s a prix fixe special menu for $89 (Ruth s Classics) - a decent selection to pick from but picked the seasonal soup, broiled salmon, garlic mashed potatoes and also comes with mini chocolate cheesecake for dessert. Pretty worth! For steaks, we tried the T-Bone (24 oz) and Ribeye (16 oz). Both were so juicy (one of the best T-Bone steaks ever) but note that it doesn t come with any sides at all For dessert, went with the classic crème brûlée! Not too sweet and can be shared with 2 people

Service and ambience was exceptional. Which justifies the astronomical high prices I suppose. The crab cakes were juicy n not too dense and full of flavour. Scallops were meh and super small as if they cut them in half. Asparagus and mushrooms were fresh and delicious. I only went because of a corporate parry but certainly would never go back for a regular dinner. Stick to the keg. Overpriced for what you get.

I booked a corporate event for two of my colleagues and their top clients at this restaurant and they were quite happy with the experience. Aside from the TVs being a bit small for the size of the room and some noise disturbance from the other rooms, other than that the service was excellent! My experience in organizing the event with Jacob was very smooth and he was super accommodating and easy to deal with. My colleagues also asked me to be sure to mention that the waiter Paul was outstanding. We will definitely keep this restaurant on our list of preferred venues in Markham. 1/19/2023 - We had another corporate event at Ruths Chris - Markham last night and it was even better than the last one. The service was amazing and the room we were in this time was terrific. We wanted to make a special shout out to our servers, David S, Paul T, and Chris C. as they were very attentive and made us and our guests feel very welcome. The meal was excellent and the service was efficient without feeling rushed. We will definitely be back. 4/16/2024 - We had another corporate event a few days ago and the host said the service was amazing and that he plans to hold more events here in the future.

I love this location!! Ive dined here a few times for celebratory dinners and special occasions and the experience is always 10/10. I recently came here for a celebratory dinner that meant a lot to me personally, and the staff and hosts were incredibly warm and hospitable. Our host, Bibak, was so kind and accommodating, he really made the whole partys experience outstanding. One of the nicest places Ive eaten at.

Wonderful service, the staff was very helpful and attentive. The apple crumble was tasty but the Lobster Mac no so much. My fiancé ordered the 24oz T-bone steak -made exactly how he likes it and was very impressed how hot it came out with the plate temperature still at 500 degrees

Thanks so much, Steven - you ensured our anniversary was a memorable night. First time hosting a private gathering here was a wonderful experience. The manager of events, Jacob, was incredibly kind and accommodating. The staff who primarily serviced my event, Bill and Sarah, were exceptional - they handled everyone s needs from food/beverage to AV equipment in a calm and competent manner. Won t be my last time and highly recommend! Steaks were also cooked perfectly. My guests were very happy. Thank you!

We were there for a friend s 40th birthday and everything was impeccable. Bill, our server was especially attentive to the needs of the group and was always there to take our requests. As always the food was amazing, with everything coming out just as expected. It was a great evening to celebrate. Kid-friendliness: The service team was great with the young children and took extra care to meet their needs.

We came here for the Valentines special dinner menu, however, the TOMAHAWK RIBEYE was sold out when we arrived. The servers replaced with PORTERHOUSE FOR TWO and it was surprisingly good! The total price is even lower. The entire dinner experience was phenomenal. Would come again for sure.

This was our first time to any Ruths Chris, and both me and my friend were very impressed! Our server Chris was very attentive as well as very cognizant of my friends dietary restrictions. Granted my sample size for steakhouses is small (I dont go very often) but my filet was the best Ive ever had. We went with the prix fixe menu and it was an excellent amount of food for the price. Expensive? Yes. Its a steakhouse, of course its gonna be expensive. But I still feel like I got value for money when you combine the excellent food with excellent service! Its a splurge, but one Ill likely do again for another special occasion! Dietary restrictions: My friend had an intolerance to table pepper, which can be tricky given its used in a lot of dishes. But our server helped him navigate the menu or offer alterations to give my friend one hell of a good dish. Wheelchair accessibility: Ample space for my friend to navigate using his wheelchair and automatic doors. Very accommodating!

Always have stellar service at this location, staff and management are super great and go out of their way to accommodate guests! Perfect location for a celebration, interior is so well-kept and gorgeous. Bibak was the best server, will always be coming back for him <3

This is the top steakhouse in Markham. It is near the downtown Markham cinema and a 24-hours Goodlife Fitness.

Even though lobster and scallops that we wanted to order were out but the steak was nice. Sauce on the shrimp voodoo was a bit too much.

Very much a steak house. Loved that the crab cakes were basically 100% crab and not breadcrumbs (though the downside is that it is not crispy). Also the hot plate made such a difference in the enjoyment of the steak.

Our experience here at Ruth Chris Markham was one of the worst dining experiences we ve had at any high end restaurant. Our server Bill was very rude and aggressive approaching us to start off with. We were already regretting our decision to dine here but we were already seated so we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. As the night progressed we see Bill yelling and fighting with the other staff which is ridiculous as everyone is within ear shot. He yelled at both female bartenders in separate occasions as well as the kind female host that brought us to our table. At one point he was screaming at another female employee who looked like the manager, right by our table. On Valentines Day this ruined the mood and the atmosphere of the restaurant which was very disappointing because we had high hopes for this restaurant as we ve seen many good reviews about the staff here. Because we witnessed all this negativity coming from Bill our night and mood was ruined. I hope management reevaluates who they have working at this establishment as I believe we weren t the only ones who felt like this.

Horrible experience. We were served by Bill who was rude and acted like he had better things to do than do his job. We felt like we were being rushed and his attitude ruined our dinner. It s unfortunate because their food and cocktails were actually delicious and would ve loved to dined here again. But the experience by Bill has left a bad taste in our mouths.

The bartender Adrian must not have his smart serve he s a horrible bartender. Extremely slow and was over pouring the alcohol in our drinks. I d ask for a single and end up with a double multiple time. I d look into this if I were Ruth Chris.

I love Ruth s Chris and this was my first time coming to the Markham location. The food is as good as the other locations and offer halal options, which is worth it alone in my opinion. However, we noted to the server that my husband has a dairy allergy but we were unfortunately served bread that was brushed in butter despite noting this allergy. My husband had a few rolls until we noticed a buttery taste and the server confirmed there was butter. That was definitely unfortunate and I do think it is the server s duty to note down allergies. Aside from that, we still had a lovely experience and can t wait to go back again!

The presentation was very good and the service was great. The steaks are unique and made different than other steak houses where the filet steak comes sizzling hot with butter and seasoning - to be honest I found it very salty but others may enjoy it this way. But they wanted me to enjoy my steak so they took mine back and gave me a new steak with no salt and it was delicious. The meat is so tender it was a great steak.

The amount of butter that was used to make the steak here made me really sick after eating it. For the price The seafood tower is not even close to being worth the money, lastly the server wasnt friendly at all. At the end i mentioned how oily the food was, he basically just ignored it. Definitely not recommend this place

Went there last night for the first time. We were looking for a steakhouse nearby and decided to try Ruths. We were thinking it would be similar to the Keg but did not initially realize how insanely overpriced it would be for mediocre food. We came just before happy hour was over so we decided to make things more affordable we would order the steak sandwich which was at happy hour pricing. We also got two $18 cocktails, that was supposedly the price for happy hour. Our server was very attentive and kind, that is the only good thing about our experience. The server took our order and not even 2 minutes later the manager claims that they arent doing happy hour because of the holidays, and they are supposedly out of the steak sandwich. Im sure the server isnt stupid enough to forget that they werent doing happy hour for the holidays, so I think that was a complete lie to upsell us on the managers part. How can you be out of steak at a steakhouse? I just think they didnt want us ordering the more affordable option because we were 5 mins to 6pm, which is when happy hour ends. We decide to split one of the 3 course meals, got an 11oz filet, with Caesar salad, garlic mashed potatoes, and dessert. The Caesar salad was fine, nothing special. Then the meat comes out in the most ridiculous fashion, on a 500 degree sizzling plate. Our meat was not cooked evenly and continued to cook on the sizzling plate, causing it to begin overcooking. We had to take it off the plate so it wouldnt keep cooking. I have never seen a steak served this way, it is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. This is not how steak should be cooked, and it is a joke that this place is called a steakhouse. All the pretentious people who fall for this scam to think this is good are delusional. The mashed potatoes barely tasted garlicky. The fact that everything else is a la carte is ridiculous. Who pays $20 for a potato or vegetable side thats only big enough for one person? Youre telling me when youre charging almost $100 per steak that you cant afford to put a vegetable and potato on the side? I have to order separately? Absolutely lunacy. At $200 for two people who literally split one meal, it hurt us deeply to have to even reach into our wallets to pay for this mediocrity. Our bill didnt even reflect the correct prices, our drinks were $20 and the $89 + $22 for the 11oz 3 course meal showed as $92 plus the extra $20 for the 11oz filet. It is as if they want to purposely confuse you into overpaying. Go to the Keg or any other steakhouse, Ruths is purely for people who have a disposable income and who dont have any taste or discernment. Wheelchair accessibility: Not very wheelchair accessible because it is located in a hotel. Wheelchair parking is at the back of the hotel which is impossible to walk for someone who is disabled. Had to drop off the person at the entrance then park in the disabled spot.

First time visiting this restaurant and I enjoyed my time there. Food and service either met or exceeded my expectations. I will visit this restaurant again in the future and recommend to at least try this location once

ordered medium rare and medium steak. just perfectly cooked and the plate is sizzling hot, keeping your food hot. only down side is there were no garnish. side dish really served on the side. the best part,my favourite part is the warm soft yet crunchy outside bread. creamy butter. we had two baskets! its a bit on the expensive side, but the quality of food is rather secure and steady. our waiter could give us a little more smile! my daughter actually said he looks too serious and scary! ha!ha! will come back for special occasion. but not a place whrre we will come casually cause of the price.

I came here with my fiance on Friday and it was my first time. Food was good and our server was knowledgeable and on-top of it the whole night. Having said that, one thing I didnt like was that I got the feeling we were being rushed. When placing our order, we were indecisive and took a little bit of time and Im not sure if the waiter got impatient but politely rushed us to order. I was going to spend big bucks here so I should get all the time I want to decide what to order. Also, near the end of our meal, I was still eating and the waiter came by and started clearing the table. It was kind of weird because my partner was done too so the whole table is now cleared except Im still there eating. I didnt get why the rush as there was still 45 minutes till closing and the restaurant was still seating new-comers.

We came to celebrate my birthday with my family at ruth s. Service was fantastic our server Paul did an amazing job in explaining the menu and the steaks came out perfect. A special thanks to Nicholas who warped up our food he was extremely nice and even packed extra bread and butter for us. Overall highly recommend this location lovely staff and very welcoming.

My partner and I went to the Toronto airport location at 960 Dixon Rd back in October 2023. I left a review after our not so great experience. After leaving my review, a few days later I received a phone call from Ian, the Regional General Manager GTA. I was pleasently surprised that Ian wanted to make it right and offered me a gift card of $75 to come back to the restaurant in the hopes that we may have a better experience. Although this location is rather out of my way, I accepted the offer and awaited receipt of the gift card which never arrived. Thinking maybe, Ian wrote down my mailing address wrong, I followed up with an email. I waited a few days and there was no response. It appeared as though I had been ghosted. About another week later I decided to follow up once more. This time with a phone call. My voice mail was never acknowledged or returned, nor were there any other attempts made to follow up with me. Im very disappointed in Ruth Chris Steakhouse, the franchise, management and their customer service as a whole.

The food was excellent, but the service was extremely slow. While Bibek was friendly, it took 30 minutes for drinks, another 30 for appetizers, and even longer for the main course. Unfortunately, he seemed less attentive and very slow in serving.

We had our department dinner at Ruths Chris and it was an overwhelming success. The staff were cooperative and attentive both in the planning and the execution. Every detail was attended to and we all had a great time. Well certainly be going back. Thank you to the staff at Ruths Chris!

Arrived at 5 pm for a Happy Hour drink/food with my wife. The restaurant was basically empty. Ordered sliders, the meat was very good but due yo the absence of kind of a sauce and/or some garnishes, the slider was a little bit dry. In addition, I was surprised that all sliders were identical, I am more used to the Kegs sliders that is with some kind of variation. We also ordered shrimps and a steak sandwich. The shrimps were very very good. The steak sandwich was prepared to perfection but unfortunately the fries did not seem to be fresh that is I expect the fries to be delivered hot and crispy in a top rated steak house. Overall the food was good. Service was a little slow and should have definitely been more attentive.

Came here to celebrate husbands bday. It was originally supposed to be a dinner just for us two but our toddlers baby sitter got sick so we took him with us. The kind of service we got was unparalleled. So many people came in to check on us and offer any help we needed to make our boy more comfortable. We truly appreciate it. We had a wonderful night. The food was amazing. It always is, but its worth stressing how good it is. However to me its the service. Unparalleled. Parking: Free parking on second floor parking garage of the Marriott Kid-friendliness: There is a great kids menu. The chef made an exception and made our son a grilled cheese which wasnt on the menu. We appreciate that so much.

Our recent visit to Ruths Chris Markham exceeded all expectations! Our table service, led by Paul H., was outstanding. Pauls expert recommendations and attention to detail made the evening special. Our meal, featuring Oysters Rockefeller, Lobster Bisque, and a marvelous steak dinner, showcased the culinary talents of Chef and the team. Their mixologist created an incredible Old Fashioned cocktail, and the chocolate cheesecake with anniversary wishes decorated on the plate was a lovely surprise! A well-deserved 5 star rating - well be back!!

Ive been searching for steak that could compare to Barkley that closed many years ago ..well after years of searching I finally found it . Everything about this place was 5 star plus ..the food ,the service ,the atmosphere. You get what you pay for ..and this place will not disappoint. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Food

Very nice quaint steak house. I had the shrimp Tacos and nachos for the table. It was good for a quick dinner , walking distance from the hotel I stayed at. Not many vegetarian options so that as disappointing.

I had the pleasure of organizing 15 Years Service Anniversary Dinner for our executives. I worked with Jacob Hazlett who is the Regional Sales Manager. He was fantastic and made it easy to select food, drinks and make last-minute changes. Everybody enjoyed the atmosphere, food and drinks. In a word it was perfect. Overall meal was very good . The steak was good and it was a good size . I just wish the steak came with sides instead of paying extra for it . The bread was very good it tasted fresh and the butter was good also . The dessert was good also . It was shareable . The moxtail was really good the flavour was really good . It tasted very fresh . The French onion could have been better . 8/10

One of our favs for date nights and for our holiday team dinners. I cant even count how many times weve been here and thats why I was surprised when I noticed I hadnt left them a review yet- I mean what is there not to love? The staff always go above and beyond, the food is always amazing, and I absolutely love the location. I adore the fact that they have amazing halal options. Some of our favs are the shrimp voodoo, the stuffed chicken, the rib eye, corn, and mashed. If you havent been, youre missing out!

We had an awesome birthday dinner night at this location! It was our first time dining in at Ruth s Chris and it was amazing. Our server Paul H had nice recommendation for cocktails, and we saw him make it too. They were perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. We were bummed that there s no tomahawk as we re looking forward to it but he suggested to just get two steaks for us to try- which we did. It was TBone and Filet and they re so tender and juicy. Before leaving we got a special cake for my partner- which was unexpected as we didn t order dessert. This was a nice touch to the occasion, and very much appreciated. Paul made sure we had an amazing night, he s lovely!

Our favorite steak house in the gta. We always go here for celebrations or just a nice night out. Very kid friendly with lots of options for the kids. The staff are always welcoming with our girls. Sarah the GM is fantastic, she really cares about her guest s experience and we regularly see her every time we visit. Their food is top notch along with their service. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice night out. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of food and service. You can t go wrong here, it s a beautiful restaurant as well. Keep up the awesome job.

Hosted a large Dinner for Executives and the planning process along with the dinner was amazing. Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and food so much that we have now hosted 4 similar dinners at the same location. Will be doing so again in the near future.

We came here for a celebratory dinner and unfortunately we re not pleased or as impressed as we thought based on reviews online and from family and friends. The location we were seated in was not ideal for the more intimate dinner we were having (stated on the reservation). The restaurant was empty at the time we were seated and we were sat directly beside the only table that was occupied and they were very loud and obnoxious obviously not setting the proper mood for the evening. The drinks were great and our server Bill was very informative and kind and if not for him there would be less stars on this review. The food was not amazing like we were expecting and overall our experience was not great. Granted we did have to leave halfway through the entree for a family emergency but even before that we were not having a good time. Very unfortunate as we had high hopes. We will not be returning in the future especially for the cost of the meal.

Every piece of food that touched our table was heavenly. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Service was very friendly and helpful.

We had hosted our Corporate Christmas dinner here a few weeks ago. We were greeted with extraordinary service, and a cozy/warm atmosphere for our private event. Jacob and Emily were very helpful, detailed, and personable throughout our whole process in answering all of our questions, demands and details for this event. It was everything that we had expected and more. Thank you so much for being such a lovely host. We will definitely come back again!

They do steak very well, of course, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are astronomical, of course, but there are some affordable options on the menu.

A relatively expensive steakhouse. We ordered the steak, calamari, mashed potatoes, and a bottle of wine, and our bill came out to just shy of $300. The steak was very good, but the calamari tasted like nothing and the mashed potatoes were clearly made from a powder. The service was above average, with our server never missing a beat and always giving us what we asked for right away. We were sat right next to the bar so it was a little louder than I d have liked it but the atmosphere was very nice.

Ruths has always been a favorite of mine for almost 20yrs. And this time was no exception, overshadowed only by our amazing and entertaining server David.

Was spectacular this time last year when I went with my family. This time, it is a corporate dinner event. Starter salad was ok. The petite filet mignon is of good quality and cooked perfectly. However, found the taste to be on the salty side. The Apple crumble dessert was gigantic but it is too sour. Told to eat with the ice cream but there is not enough of it to go through the whole dish. Service still great though.
