Got the Thai style fried rice and unfortunately it’s one of the worst type of fried rice I’ve had ever. They used some kind of strange spice which had a bad after taste. I’ve never had bad fried rice and didn’t think it was possible to mess up such a basic dish. Don’t recommend fried rice at this place. Maybe the other food are better.
It’s the classic spot. You have to eat the noodles here they’re so good. The quality of the noodles is amazing. Sometimes they pull it in front of you. I usually get the dumpling noodles. I’ve been eating from here since I was young, and it hasn’t changed; classic.
Yummy! Got number 17. Broth was great. Love the noodles. On the second floor, in the food court of the Pacific mall. A hidden gem. Highly recommended 👍
A staple of the P Mall food court and still going strong after many years of visits. Taste and price are both reasonable for a food court, although the noodles were slightly less good on our most recent trip than we had come to expect. Still a solid spot.
My daughter and I enjoyed their beef noodle soup! Taste really good, not very oily and beef is tender ! Will try something else next time. The ladies were very friendly and didn’t even charge me for the extra utensils / bowls but offered it to us for free !
Portion size versus inflation prices during this time seems “expected”. It’s too bad the service wasn’t great. Was greeted by the lady taking orders but only for her to then stand there texting on her phone for a few minutes before she proceeded to return her attention back to us to take our order. Food came out quickly, seems fairly fresh and beef was tender. Not bad for a quick lunch.
I don't go to Pacific Mall very often these days, especially to eat, but when I do, Sun's Kitchen is my go-to place. Their food is always freshly cooked and delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. This time, I had Beef with Bitter Melon and it was very tasty. My friend had the Sweet and Sour Pork Cutlet and that was really yummy, with a nice crispy texture. Both dishes were cooked to order, and delicious good! Check out Sun's Kitchen the next time you're at Pacific Mall in Markham!
Great quality freshly hand made noodles. The Noodle making is right in front of you! Very tasty! Variety of dishes, I wish they had more vegetarian options. Good portions, large bowls of soup.
Didn t wait too long but the #1 was quite bland. Little to no flavor. Added soy sauce and chilli oil which helped a bit
Horrible food
Good food, fairly priced, terrible service. Waiting 20+ mins for three orders, only for them to actually forget about one. And realize two of the dishes were just sitting there on the counter for more than half that time. So even more waiting.
Chicken wings are super greasy had 1 and couldn t finish the rest. Went and asked employee if I could get something else and they looking at me like I m lying. Don t come here
Good noodles
Very good soup and hand made noodles. Also the lady who works there was very kind to me. Thank you
Hand noddle are overrate and just a show. Other dished are better
Food is cold, rice is so dry, meat is hard to chew. And it was $17.
This is a staple when we visit Toronto . Always delicious. Fast and friendly service . Worth the trip .
this is definitely the place to take your family for authentic and delicious food. the portions are great and the staff and kind and very helpful
This is my go to place for food in Pmall. Food slaps!
I ordered their Bulgogi Beef Bento, and Steamed dumplings. Quantity was great, lots of food came in the bento. The taste was also really good, it also came with so many sides. Kimchi, potatoes, radish, etc. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The meal was very tasty and exactly what I ordered. Great for the North York, Scarborough area especially if you are craving some Bulgogi and pork dumplings.
Got the spicy noodle soup with barbecue pork. The price is too high for a food court
Had their thai fried rice & pan fried dumplings. Very low-quality & disappointing. They have a very large menu, but the quality suffers because of it.
The sun always shines on Sun s
I used to come to the place years ago and loved it but having revisited this time I was quite disappointed. I always ordered the beef brisket noodle soup and it was delicious: tender meat, flavourful broth and chewy noodles. All of that went down the drain this time. The brisket tough, broth watered down and noodles over done. And to boot, the price has gone up $5. Not to mention they dont give you the complementary soy milk any more. I am sorry but I wont be coming back.
I always come here to get fried vige rice whenever I visit the Pacific Mall. Their food is so delicious and priced reasonably.
Great seafood fried rice. Lady taking my order and giving out food was very kind. Big portions
Worst
Food was too hot
Very tasty, reasonable pricing (cash only), and great portions! Friendly service too!
The noodles are fresh and its in a great location in the Pacific Mall. Would definitely recommend if youre around the area.
Typical
Freshly hand made noodle, the noodle is good but the topping is a bit meh. Please feel free to follow me on IG Mandilicous, tiktok missmandilicous for food and lifestyle posts
The amount of beef brisket noodles surprised me, it was just such a small bowl of noodles. Isn t that how cost-saving works? There is not enough food for even a child. It s still so expensive. Treat people as fools?
I had fried noodle with beef. Noodle overcooked and came with broken pieces and too much oil in. Not taste not worth to spend $10!!
I love coming here for their fresh noodle soup. I always order their Dan Dan noodle soup, which is pretty good. The noodles are made in front of you. Everything Ive tried has been pretty good. Great service and prices! Thanks
Green onion pancake is yummy. Noodles on the menu are just okay.
Get the dan dan noodles. So good!
Great hand made noodles for the money! Never get tired of watching them being made...after cooking, the consistency is firm and satisfying, while the broth has a pleasant flavor. Service is abrupt but efficient. Fast food as advertised!
Great food and the noodles are the slipperiest and the most flavored out of all the restaurants in the area. Can not be beat by other noodles in the area.
AWESOME place for some OG pulled noodles. the price can not be beaten. Fresh pulled in front of you at times. (usually draws a crowd) the flavor of the broth is settle but soothing!
Fresh noodles. Whats better?
I felt like having handmade noodles and this place came to mind. Its main menu tends to be spicy, but it does have some non-spicy options. I ordered the shredded chicken noodle soup. The soup was simple. The serving had the right portion and filled my stomach for a Saturday afternoon for less than $10.
Very good food. Anything here tastes great.
Had the Spicy Dan Dan Noodles. They were fantastic!
Watched the guy do noodles from scratch and we ate their food absolutely awesome
Ok
Tasty
Medicare noodles, small portions, food with MSG.
Food
not to bad for fast food
The dandan noodles are incredible. In fact all the noodles are great and its a visual treat to watch them being made.
Quick and greasy!!!
Order noodles and get a free show while waiting in line as your noodles get made literally in front of you. How can you beat freshly made noodles? The beef brisket is fatty and well done. Duck is simple. Fried dumplings are ok - not best presentation on styrofoam plate. Order comes with free soybean drink.
Ive been going to Suns Kitchen for years now. They have an amazing assortment of meat options and the perfect gauge hand-pulled noodles. Understated, underrated.
Great food
Handmade yumminess. Charges an extra .50 cents for debit so cash is best.
spicy chicken,
For takeout, I ate two dumplings for 6.99 tax, Lanzhou Ramen, and spicy chicken. Please don t go to his store. I m not trying to discredit it. Really, the dumplings are not as big as my finger.
The fresh noodles were very cool to see being made. The prices were good, the portions were good, and the food was delicious! I definitely would want to come back here.
Had #17 (spicy ramen with BBQ pork) and #23 (chive patties). Delicious all around and very much like the texture of the homemade noodles.
Handmade noodles made as orders are put in. Oh so good!
The price is good, the show is excellent...too bad the actual soup base of the noodles isnt great. One of the few places Id recommend the fried noodles over the noodles in soup.
I always get their #47 - Thai stir fry. Love this flavor profile with the texture of their hadn pulled noodles!
Fresh and great
Follow online posts recommendation. Not bad! Soup is genuinely good and not by MSG. Noodle tastes homemade and unlike Japanese Raman or Xinjiang Lanzhou Raman. I like the latter more. But its up to your tastes.
AMAZING, you can watch them make the noodles while you wait. So yummy, and cheap and fresh.
I went to Suns Kitchen about a year ago for the first time. I had sweet and sour pork and it was super crispy and amazing. I went yesterday (November 11, 2017) and ordered the sweet and sour pork again. My husband got the spicy pork noodle dish. He wasnt happy with how his tasted. My sweet and sour pork dish was disgusting and I couldnt eat it at all. It was swimming in sauce which made the coating on the sweet and sour pork extremely soggy. It tasted like soggy pork fat. I ended up just eating some of the rice with the sauce. To top it off, we ordered two waterbottles and paid for two waterbottles. We received only one, and when I went to ask for the second one, the lady at the counter refused to give it to me. Thankfully another employee gave me the other waterbottle I paid for. This was a huge disappointment, and we wont be eating here again. I will go to Axia Cafe instead and get a lunch box for a dollar more and great quality food.
This noodle stand in the middle of this food court in Pacific Mall serves up delicious home made soup noodles. Had the Dan Dan noodles which was terrific. I would return to try their other offerings. Worth checking out.
Delicious Chinese fast food
Best noodles I have had outside of China, and the chef puts on a traditional noodle-making display if youre into that sort of thing.
