The Noodle Bar - New HK Style Cart Noodle - with lots of different toppings and different kind of noodles to choose. Please support small business. 老朱車仔麵 - 最具人情味的港式車仔麵。不分你我,只要喜歡食就來找我們。店小小,志向大。大家多多支持! Food Allergy notice - food prepared in our restaurant may contain with egg, wheat, milk, fish, soy and nuts. Please call before you order.
This is the only cart noodle place in the GTA that hits close to home. My go-to noodle base for here is oil noodles with the brisket and tnb special sauce. I personally think the brisket and fried fish skin are standouts for toppings. The Fish Lettuce/Mock Shark Fin Soup are great add-ons too. The only thing I'd wish the restaurant will improve is the ventilation. It always feels really stuffy inside.
I have to say this place is probably the best noodle bar in Toronto. Even I live in Scarborough but I preferred to drive 31mins to eat at this place in Markham weekly! Despite they have LC Noodle Bar in Scarborough…but it is different…kinda of missing something when compared with Markham LC Noodle Bar. I highly recommend the tasty 4-choice noodles (四餸撈麵) + extra noodles (加底) + with Shacha sauce (橋底汁) and beef brisket sauce (腩汁) and other Hong Kong street style snacks ( 咖哩魚蛋) + friendly staffs = can't find anywhere else in Canada! Most importantly, thank you for the chef who is working hard daily and crafted these amazing noodle dishes to his customers, Sam哥! 多蔥x3, 多汁x3, 多謝!
Good noodle restaurant that allows you to pick your own ingredients and noodle type. The restaurant is quite small, so expect to wait a little for a table. The service is fast, so they turnover tables quickly. Prices are also affordable. I recommend giving them a try.
We decided to try this on a whim and were fortunate not to have to wait a long time on a Sunday at peak lunchtime hours. The restaurant is not very big, so expect to wait a bit for a table depending on how busy it happens to be when you get there. They do turn over tables fairly quickly. You can order on an app, and once we put in ours, our food came surprisingly quickly. They have some signature noodle options, but we chose the noodles with pick-your-own toppings. They have a variety of options for noodles (and rice), toppings, and sauces. The noodles were good, though I should have asked for some sauces, like the chili oil, on the side because if you don't, they put it right in. The HK style milk tea was also good, albeit on the sweeter side. Service was efficient and friendly. Parking is challenging because the lot isn't that big, and they have quite a few eateries there.
Their noodle is nice and al-dente. The soup base is not salty. It also does not make you feel thirsty. The fish balls, pig skin, mushrooms, etc. are well prepared. Very al-dente, crisply and tendon respectively. Their refrigerated bottled Hong Kong style milk tea is also nice. Creamy, silky, smooth and not too sweet. However, they can consider enhancing the presence of the tea flavour. The attendants are very friendly and diligent, though they are working under stress during rush hours. That demonstrates their gentle character. Admire. The place is also clean. Since there will be many customers lining up for a table, let's be considerate and don't occupy the table for too long. Better pick another cafe if meal chat is desired. After all, a nice Cantonese style noodle bar!
My favourite Cantonese noodle place ever! Their broth is so sweet (you can tell the sweetness is from vegetables in the broth) and never too salty, variety choices of noodle and add-ons you could choose. My favourite is beef sirloin, pig skin and daikon radish. I was never a fan of fish balls but I like their curry fish balls. Overall, must try! 真的很好吃家人们!
If you don't have reservations, expect a long wait time to get in. Took us around 45 mins. We had high expectations due to the popularity but the food didn't meet our tastes. The broth was very oily and had a weird aftertaste. The spices weren't working for us and overall we didn't enjoy the food. Ended up leaving without fully finishing the meals.
So excited to finally try this cart noodle place. I got the noodle bar special bowl with 6 toppings & noodle to go. The 6 toppings included were 5 spices pig intestines, curry fish balls, Chinese radish, braised pig feet, sweet chicken wings and abalone. The toppings tasted really good. Their price is definitely not cheap for a bowl of noodle but the portion was fair and the quality was higher than expected. It is worth a try if you want to taste something special in Hong Kong style. Will go back whenever I crave for a nice bowl of cart noodles. Recently, I ordered 6 bowls of cart noodles (take out) for my family. The food was yummy. The quality & service was consistent. It was easy to place order online via their website before pick up at the shop. Everything was ready and packed nicely by the time I arrived.
AMAZING! food was impeccable. would highly recommend for any uhs student
Good food good service good price
Poor service, fish skin is not crispy at all.
Probably the best around at the time of writing. Flavourful soup base and good ingredients.
The beef tripe and pork intestines are good, and the fried fish skin is good
The iced milk tea was bland and tasteless!
Very small, cramp restaurant serving HK cart noodles. Prices are reasonable, service fine and the food comes out within 2 minutes of ordering. Try to avoid the dark, back tables because you are really close to your neighbours and kitchen. Food is delicious so it makes up for the unpleasant ambiance.
Tasty food and lots of choices.
The food is okay, can be better. The staff was nice although the restaurant is always full and busy.
Really delicious and authentic Chinese noodles! Definitely going back!
Recently The portion is getting smaller and smaller. And it is always too hot indoor. May have to look for alternatives
Busy restaurant , taste good.
The food and staff quite nice :) but I saw the fly around the table.
Hong Kong-style cart noodles, with the usual ingredients available, around a dozen options. We recommend dishes cooked in stew or braised, such as beef brisket, pig trotters, and pig intestines. Both the beef brisket and pig intestines are incredibly tender and flavorful. There are spicy sauce options for self-selection, it is deliciously fragrant. Overall, everything is tasty! If you re craving cart noodles, highly recommend it
Taste yummy!
-Waiters have poor service attitude -The radish has obviously been soaked in sugar water, making it unnaturally sweet -The chicken wing meat is moldy and tasteless -Diarrhea after last meal -More than reality - The waiter had a poor attitude. - The radishes were clearly soaked in sugar water, unnaturally sweet. - The chicken wings were tough, stale, and tasteless. - Ended up with an upset stomach after the meal. - Overrated.
Its a good place for a quick meal. I like the soup and radish.
Taste Hong Kong style
The best Hong Kong noodle I ve ever had outside of Hong Kong. Soup very rich and curry spiciness just right, the taste lingers in my mouth for a whole day after eating, very very yummy!! Ordered takeout for curry beef with rice a day after, tasted just as amazing. Very reasonable price, ordered 4 toppings with noodle + a bottle of milk tea, after tax and tips $20-22. (Depending on how much you tip) Restaurant atmosphere is good, staffs are very friendly and attentive. Thank you.
3/5 ( forgot to add pictures) Food: 2/5 The food is alright not bad not good I ordered a curry broth, fishball and luncheon meat. The broth had a weird aftertaste and it tasted more on the water side. The toppings were great but the noodles were kind of chewy. Service: 3/5 We got seated within 5 minutes of waiting, which is very fast considering how busy it was. We had to wait 30 mins for our food after we ordered than an extra 5 minutes for water. Had to wait an extra 20 mins after we finished to get our change. $30 for 2 bowls is a bit pricey. (Waiters were very nice) Atmosphere: 5/5 Felt like a cafe and very peaceful. I would recommend this place if you just need to relax for a bit because this place is rather chill and quiet at the times.
Service is prompt and friendly, food is average and acceptable for the price.
The food is okay, it has the flavor of Hong Kong Che Tsai Noodles! It also feels like the service in a Hong Kong tea restaurant. A group of Taiwanese and Taiwanese businessmen blew water loudly together, ate cherries, vomited the kernels in their hands after eating, and then gave me a bowl of noodles to eat. I didn t know that they were buying a car for $4.99 per pound. Lizi! It tastes big and fresh! I don t know why the room is so hot and humid!
Nice place with good noodles. AC wasnt working very well, but the food is definitely good.
Been here several times already and the quality is always consistent. Flavour is very similar to I had in Hong Kong, very authentic. Brisket and intestines are my go-to toppings then I vary the other choices. Service is always pleasant. Small, cozy little shop, but dividers in place and covid protocol followed. Will be back.
Cart noodles are part of Hong Kong s local snack culture. Here, Cart Noodles are made in a professional way. Both the ingredients and the soup base are carefully prepared. It is nostalgic but also keeps pace with the times
Its not air-conditioned enough, its so damn hot
A little gem in Markham (highway 7/warden) that serves authentic . They offer pre-set option for their noodles, or you can always pick any type and quantity of ingredients, soup base, etc. Plus they have QR code on each table to let us scan it and place order confidently using your mobile phone. Highly recommended!! ( P.S. must try #HongKongStyleMilkTea
The food is really, really good. One of the best cart noodle that I ever had.
Taste good and looks like HK style, restaurant is a little bit small; Taste good and looks like HK style, restaurant is a little bit small;
Except for the fact that the hair on the pigs feet has not been removed, everything else is ok.
Authentic Hong Kong style car noodles, delicious.
Tastes good but portion is a little small
The meal is served quickly and is delicious
Food is not extremely fancy but they do the basics really well. Service is definitely better than similar types of restaurants.
Very satisfied, the portion is generous, the taste is good, and the service is very attentive. Except that my hands were shaking and I put in too much chili oil, which made me sweat all over because of the heat...
The store is small with only a few seats, and its always busy, so youll need to wait for a spot. However, once youre seated, the service is super fast, and youll get your noodles in just a few minutes.
Overheard the waitress to tell the older lady to sit inside because it s warmer. Very nice and attentive of her!
Portion is ok for $12 3 topping noodle, noodles taste very good. Seating is so small, washroom is normal rating
The food is incredible!
incredible food and super fast service :-) ordered the three toppings with oil noodles (fish skin + teochow squid slices + brisket) with chili oil and signature sauce. pleasantly surprised with all toppings! brisket is tricky sometimes when its too tough but this place makes it soft + tender. wouldve loved the fish skin to be served on the side instead to maintain the crisp but a minor suggestion as they were perfectly seasoned + crispy. we also ordered the curry fish balls + brisket + pig intestine. the curry sauce is yummy & the marinating sauce for the intestine hits the spot if youre craving for something with a stronger taste. would love to visit & try the deep fried intestine next! well portioned for $12!
Better than I expected. A very welcoming place. Ordered the special bowl with extra ( 2x ) thin egg noodles. Surprised that it had a fresh abalone and certainty tasted like one. It s most likely a frozen one but lean to the fresh side. By the end of it was unable to finish the 2 Chicken Wings and Braised Pig Feet. It has a great depth of flavour and would come back again. If I travel back to Markham!
The staff told us to move when we were already seated. Parking: 80 parking spots are not enough for 30 restaurants Food : 3/5 |
Food is good, portion size is fair. Not too many seats though.
Food was not good as reviews described. The chair is small and uncomfortable, desks too crowded. But the service is good! A server was going to give us 2 glass of ice water, she noticed that I m pregnant and she gave me warm water instead. really nice and warm! Food : 3/5
Had to wait as this place is small. The soup was great. Go for the 4x options. Had fish balls, brisket & pork. Went with the thick noodles , they were good but they were wide and thin. Might try some others hut it didnt detract from the meal. Will be back to try some different combinations. Yummy on a cold day.
Love it! My fav! Can you add rice noodle please?
Service was surprisingly good. Employees were attentive and accommodating. Food was biased towards the sweet side, which wasn t to our preference, however, overall good. Tip: Come during off-peak hours or you ll wait for a very long time.
My first trip to this restaurant today. I had a three item vermicelli noodle bowl in a spicy soup. The three items were curry fish ball, chicken wings, and tripes. Delicious! The food came from order entry to on my table in less than a minute (at least it felt like it). I had a HK milk tea to go with it. Yummy in my yummy. Will go back again.
Got here shortly before noon and half the restaurant was empty. As soon as it hit noon, there were tons of people waiting in line and making phone reservations. So definitely go before noon on weekdays! The food itself is ok. The soup base was pretty basic and one-dimensional even with the sauce added. There are lots of topping and meat options. For the price, I think they should add more noodles. The food came out extremely fast though, like within 5 minutes of ordering. And the service was pretty good. If youre looking for a quick bite, this is it. It was pretty warm inside the restaurant and the food smell is quite strong.
The one who work in cashier just like a robot, wont tell u how much and just show u the receipt. No thank you at all. Wont come for this kind of service.
The Che Zai Noodles have the flavor of Che Zai Noodles but are average. Curry beef brisket rice can be renamed as water curry beef brisket rice. This is the first time that the food is not related to white radish and potatoes. All ingredients are cooked separately. Adding water curry is very difficult to eat. Service is good
Yummy Vegetarian options: Food : 5/5 |
Good HK Street noodle place. I especially love the Pure Pig Lard Rice. Staffs are nice.
Everything is great and exceptional service for this little restaurant
Good firm and good food!
Food is hot, clean and most of all delicious. Parking: Limited parking at lunch time so i choose delivery
Super delicious
salmon sashimi got yum yum in my tum!!!
Very authentic Hong Kong-style noodles. Every side dish is excellent. Even the radish in the clear soup has a strong flavor of spices. If you have difficulty choosing, you can choose the family portrait noodles, which is very cost-effective! The bridge bottom juice is the most delicious, and you can also add sinful lard residue, hahahahaha
Have eaten there several times. The food is good. The downside is that there are always queues + only accept debit and cash.
Delicious and clean
Poor service, I waited for a table for 4 for more than 20 mins and when it s almost our turn, the table was given to another customers who JUST arrived and asked for a table for 6! And we were told to wait for the next table . Sorry, Im surprised with your below response to me. First, you didnt tell me I need to wait for the next table until I told you that I am before them and I am on the wait list already. And in fact, those 6 people are not even on the wait list!! You just gave the table STRAIGHT TO them as soon as they came in. Second, customers in the other table are still eating and I have actually waited for more than 2 minutes as you told us and they were still eating. My only comment is it may be an easy wait for tables for 2 or table for 6, but definitely not for table for 4.
1. Food : 3 of 5 stars, is not tasty but not tasty 2. Price: 3 of 5 stars, ok la but to be honestly the foods is not tasty enough to be this price. 3. Environments: 4 of 5 stars, but the washroom was not open today. 4.customers service: 2 of 5 stars. Overall the customers seen to be ok except the waitress lied about the line up will be 15 mins but we wait for an half hour. I founded that is really disrespectful, waiting customer time. Totally not acceptable!
Taste good Just small portion and pricy $20@ Small shop and need to line up
Good! Little bit salty and sweet.
I always support the HK street side noodles. The bowl with noodles is fine. Food portion for the bowl without noodle can be more. The is a joke, no where close to the real thing you will eat in HK. It s kind of like a bowl of little vermicelli in a dark soy sauce soup. Not impressed.
Chezi noodles are delicious and authentic. Its just that the space is too tight, the tables are small, and parking spaces are hard to come by.
Hong Kong style noodles that you can try Taste relatively bland
Good staff and good food. I like the fish ball and noodles with the sweet sauce which is tasty and satisfied.
Way too expensive!!! Plus not worth the price. For this price, there are many much better choices. On the other hand, It isn t the same thing. Not like traditional carr noodle, neither the ingredient nor the taste. Very disappointed.
Pretty yummy I like the Hong Kong Style Curry Fish Ball Recommended dishes
One of our favorite place for noodles, and quality is consistently satisfying. The is easily one of the best on town, their in-house special spicy sauce goes well with their soup base, be sure to add the other condiments too. The milk tea is good, it has strong tea flavor and it s not too sweet. The noodles are better dine-in, sometimes the noodles can be a little hard when ordering takeout, for our preference though slightly hard noodles is better than soggy. But the restaurant is always humid and has a noodle scent to it (the kind of noodle scent that makes one feel heavy, the closest resemblance would be that carbohydrate scent at Subway s) and seating is not the most comfortable. But otherwise overall this is restaurant worth going for soup noodles.
Recently found this noodle place conveniently located closed by workplace so decided to walk over to visit yesterday - also because has been a staple Hongkong street eat that I like to taste again. Ordered the $15 with 6 toppings and wide noodles. Not disappointed - the pig feet is the most delicious that I ever had (including back in HK), soup is tasty and rich, fishball bouncy. But perhaps now I moved on to more healthy eating, the intestine is a tad too fatty for my taste (soup as well). Also there has been a long 15 min wait, with cars parking right outside by the curb waiting - and we are talking 11:30 am which I thought its early enough. Next time, Ill probably order takeout, and only the 3 toppings option ($11) with the recommended beef brisket, fish ball and pig skin. All in all, if you are ok with more fatty kind of noodle, you may want to give it a try.
Well, this is a nice little noodle bar. The food is good. Many people go there. There was a line when we went there. Very good ordering system. However, I dont quite like the taste of the noodle that I ordered. It tasted like that it was missing something. Anyway it is personal preference. In general the ingredients are good.
Great noodles and MILK TEA
Taste delicious
Tried this place today for lunch. Luckily there was no lineups. It was about 11:45 sh but soon people started to. We got the 3 topings $11 so price is reasonable. Chose pig intestines, beef brisket and tribes with vermicelli. It was three of us and we all like the food. They were nice. Definition will be back.
Reasonable price and super delicious!
The food is really good here I love the thick yellow noodles the most! And the soup is the best ! I definitely recommend this place ~ and people who works there are really nice people
There were quite a lot of people there at noon, but the service was very good, the portions were large and delicious. I will definitely go there again.
The soup is just so good, its a bit spicy and full of flavors at the same time. Pork knuckle and chicken wings are my go-to
Very tasty authentic Hong Kong style noodles. The restaurant is small so expect the tight space, but the food is very good so I wouldnt mind! Visited 3 times over past few months.
My first time trying this place and im already in love of their flavour that i would definitely come back but i would give them a 4 stars just because they should extend their business hours so everyone can come for dinner time and maybe add more dishes to their menu.
In general, a variety choice of noodles with a number of different contents init.
Only second time here, it has been quite awhile but food is as good as I remember. Fairly large selection of toppings to choose from. Service is friendly and efficient. I arrived a little after eleven and the place was already half full. However, even if there is a line up I would imagine that it will move quite quickly as they have a lot of staff and this is not a place people linger to chat after. One can order via QR code on the table otherwise they do have physical menus. Cash or debit only. Parking is limited.
Overall, things were on the sweet side. Vibe was good, staff were pleasant, servings were kinda small. Visited at around 11:30am on a Sunday and only waited about 5 mins for a table. We had - Imitation shark fin soup - too sweet and got watery quickly. Had to ask for vinegar and more white pepper. - Curry fish balls with pork rind and radish - came warm, wish it was steaming hot. Good flavour, radish was just the right softness. - 6 topping noodles - decent amount of each topping. Soup base was certainly on the sweetener side. If you want chili oil, you need to order it when you order your food via the QR code. You can t scoop yourself at the table like other Chinese places.
Noodle soup was very good. Soup base was perfect. The spicy sauce had just the right amount of spicyness. Cuttlefish was seasoned perfectly and delicious. Wait times can take around 30 min during peak lunch time. Milk tea was quite expensive, and nothing special.
Super delicious! Suitable for Guangzhou people
Make sure you go early, otherwise there will be a bit of waiting(10-20mins). I feel a little too crowded for the dining space, but the food is good.
Authentic Hong Kong style cart noodles. The food is always good and service is good and efficient. They offer a large variety of toppings and everything I tried so far are done well. Prices are fair for what you get.
The curry fish eggs are delicious, the fish skin is delicious, the radish is super delicious, and the soup is also very fresh and fresh, it is worth a try
Delicious, plenty of ingredients, good soup base, no dry mouth after thirsty
Super delicious! Eat it once and look for more flavor! Personal recommendation: Qiaodi juice noodles! Refreshing and chewy!
The beef brisket is average, the fish fillets are big, tasteless and frozen. But the soup base, noodles, and other dishes are all better than those in Hong Kong
Hong Kong style cart noodles. The menu had a large variety of toppings to choose from. You order of the QR code and our bowls were served pretty fast. Service was okay. Restaurant also gets quite busy especially during lunch times.
Yummy
Terrific cart noodle! It s the taste of Hong Kong. Btw, I love the curry fishball and pig skin too.
Food is great!! Really like the noodles here and definitely will come back! Atmosphere is a little bit noisy and crowded. Service is fine. Everyone seems busy so didn t ask too much. Food : 5/5
Very quick service and great value. The curry fish balls were quite nice, and the amount of noodles was surprisingly a lot. Great place for a quick, filling lunch.
One word...positive
Today I ordered a 4-piece rice noodle dish. The beef brisket was shredded and the fat layer was left. It was okay for the rice noodle to shrink, but it was still shredded enough to be eaten with a spoon. . I know you guys are busy, but it s too laeFae to have a meal like this. . Hope there is room for improvement
Wait too long to get a table
Small and busy place during lunch hour. The wait is not long. Service is quick. Noodles are average.
A small but good Hong Kong hawker cart noodle restaurant
Taste good
The soup was flavourful and I loved the curry fishballs! Be sure to visit early as there is always a queue and they close quite early.
The soup was so flavourful and I loved the curry fishballs!! Their milk tea is surprisingly good as well. Be sure to visit early as they close quite early.
Must try
2023 July 4 A small noodle bar thats a favorite amongst the locals in area. Long lines outside during lunch is often to be expected as the shop can only seat about 25 patrons. The TNB special sauce is pretty good and is definitely worth trying if youre starting. How it works: order a set item or do a variation / own selection of a number of items. HK fish balls - ok. Could be more flavorful Pig intestine - soft and pretty good Chinese radish - pretty typical Abalone - ok. Braised pig feet - well marinated, a good option. Sweet chicken wings - if you like slow cooked, this is ok. Fake shark fin soup - would pass next time Deep fried fish skin - very crispy. Very good Beef brisket - good flavors. nice and soft. Beef tripe - pretty standard. Other options would be better. Would go again. Debit and credit only.
There are so many people on waiting list, yet the turnover are not too long. I like the topping beef brisket and the fried fish skin. The soup is really delicious!!!
Restaurant Hygiene Restaurant Design Service attitude Food quality and price Family portrait +Squid is not Hong Kong s glass squid. Ordinary white squid has no taste. The central air-conditioning in restaurants and shopping malls doesn t work very well and it s too hot indoors
Food is so so and terrible service. If u don t wanna serve customers 10 mins before close, just don t let us in. I need to finish my dishes in 30 mins in a rush and kinda kick us out bc u guys wanna close the restaurant. But, I called before I went in and u say is no time limit for us, we just need to order before 6pm. This restaurant end up asked us to leave, and I even didn t finish my meal. Btw, we pay 12% for the tips cuz they said we need to pay first. With this service, I won t give any tips.
Best Hongkong style noodle in town
They have great noodle, the toppings was very nice.
Small little noodle shop. Delicious spicy broth and spices not overpowering at all. Their special broth had great flavours. Just be prepared to wait on the weekend.
There are so many people. I think it s a bit spicy.
very good
I really enjoyed my noodles. I liked the variety of options. I think there were 6 types of noodles to choose from. There were also plenty of vegetables and meat options. This place is very small. I wouldnt recommend it for groups of 5 or more. It was also very warm it there.
Had to order two bowls of noodles as the first one was really really good. I often visited Hong Kong for business so I had to try it out once looking at the reviews. It was well worth the drive. Customer service was excellent. Flavorful, AUTHENTIC, lots of options and choices. I will def be back for more as have plenty of options to choose from. #rolltai #singingmachine #bmelo #ratpack #innovision #robertchu #ceo
Cantonese style noodles, traditional and tasty. Very very busy, recommend to call them get in the waitlist before you go It is difficult to find a parking spot on the ground but there are plenty of free underground parking spaces. Love the milktea and the noodles I prefer is Special Bowl. Debit and cash only :(
The one and only good cart noodle in Toronto
1. Food : 4 of 5 stars, consider good 2. Price: 3 of 5 stars, a bit pricey for the food portion. 3. Environments: 4 of 5 stars, but they put us seat next to the washroom. 4.customers service: 1 of 5 stars. The waitress lied about I will have to wait for 30mins. We were 3 person and she insisted to put me to the small table which is for 2 person. So three of us squashed up against each other on one seat. However the customer beside me wants to switch to the next table so we can have more place But I was told from the waitress that there were customers leaving soon, when the table is ready I can move over the table. Later I found out the waitress was lying, the customer hasn t make the payment yet and hasn t leave yet. In the end, we decided not to wait and order our food. When our food arrived and almost finished eating, the customer still not leaving yet. I felt that is really disrespectful, lying to customer waiting time & lying the table is ready. Totally not acceptable!
Excellent Che Tsai noodles, soup base, ingredients and noodles all very good
As a mainlander, this was the first time I tasted such delicious Hong Kong-style noodles, and I almost licked the bowl! I didn t know how to order it, so I just ordered a family portrait with 3 toppings. It was so full that it filled my throat and I really couldn t drink the soup...!
My favorite noodles, fish eggs, chicken wings, beef brisket, add all toppings with beef brisket sauce and Qiaotou sauce
It is my first time to try this kind of noodle. Very very nice. Highly recommended
Hong Kong style noodle bar where you pick your noodle type, soup base and add-ons. Small restaurant with limited seating and quite cramped, go early or prepare to wait for table. Soup base was fairly tasty, and add-ons were flavourful. Portion was generous which is something we don t see often in these restaurants, we were quite full after our meal. We also ordered fried fish skins which was also tasty. Price was reasonable. Recommended for lunch, again, go early (like before noon) to avoid wait time.
Authentic Hong Kong style cart noodles, great in taste, presentation and portion. The milk tea is also of good quality, but it is very busy and I had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated.
Hearty meal at a decent price - perfect for noodle lovers to grab a bite. I have been a frequent customer for the past year and a half, and their quality is very consistent. Their beef briskets are flavorful and soft, doesnt stick to my teeth when I chew. I love their aromatic and savory soup base... makes the meal more appetizing. So far, all the toppings I ordered are delicious (fish balls, chicken wings, etc). Their lo chu milk tea is silky and not too sweet - quality is on par with Marathons IMO.
Authentic Hong Kong style noodle. Yummy.
Visited this place during weekday late lunch. Line up is long, food is pretty good. I like their broth. Will definitely return.
The service is very good and the atmosphere is good, but the taste of the noodles is not suitable for my taste Milk tea is so delicious
The worlds worst beef nugget spaghetti. I feel better than him. Beef jerky looks like beef jerky and has no texture. Why does spaghetti have ground beef? Laozhu Cafe.
In general, food and service are good. Soup base has a bit msg,
Let the truth speak for itself, I forgot to take pictures before I eat until I finished all the food, that s how tasty it is! Food : 5/5
905 Seichi
I have visited this Lao Zhu Chezi Noodle restaurant more than ten times. Every time, the food is very good, and the service is also very good even during busy hours.
These people are always rude, they are running the business and food taste like hell.dont visit here again.
If Hong Kong style cart noodles is your thing, this place isnt gonna disappoint. We got there with a line of people waiting outside already, everyone speaking Cantonese. Good sign. (Pro tip: you can call them ahead of time so the folks there will put your name down for you so you can join the line before you get there) Toppings: In HK I never cared about curry fish balls but this is such a signature street food from HK I thought i had to try that out - and boy were they legit. Both the mushrooms and wings are so rich in the marinate brine. Broth was rich and delicious. And price point is very reasonable. Cant wait to come back the next time.
Super fast!!! But never felt rushed. We were in and out in 35 minutes. The a la carte choices are plentiful and the signature soup base is more flavourful than most soup non-spicy noodle soup in the area. Parking: Forget about surface parking, just go underground.
It tastes great and I m so happy to be able to taste Hong Kong style Che Tsai Noodles in Markham Sincerely recommend . Favorite pork trotters, marinated large intestine, baby abalone, beef cypress leaves, Swiss chicken wings and Hong Kong style milk tea
The taste is average...the portion is smaller than the ones in Hong Kong. The most important thing is that the place where you eat hot noodle soup is not air-conditioned. After eating, it feels like going to a sauna.
Super big bowl for only 15$! Authentic Hong Kong noodle food, good quality food inside, I cant even finish my bowl since its too big. High recommend trying out their particular number 2 like I did since it includes all their favourite topping inside and suggest you should get vegetables on the side like we did because the food is a little bit oily and might not be suitable for anyone who cant eat fat or oily foods.
The service is ok, but the room is so limited. The terrible thing is that it seems they didn t open the air condition in such hot weather. The sauce is no so sweet and not authentic from my view.
Delicious One bowl reminds me of the feeling of reworking the food in Causeway Bay! The soup base has the real taste of Che Tsai Noodles. My name is Zuo Jia Fu. It s really delicious. When eating Che Tsai Noodles, you can add a can of lemon or frozen lemon tea and you ll be satisfied
Very authentic Hong Kong taste
We loved it! We came all the way from Montreal and it was the every first meal we ate when we arrived in GTA. Well, let me tell you, we ate at several places during our trip, and with all the delicious food we got, the Noodle Bar would always come on top of our mind if people asked us about the highlights of the trip. Portions are generous (lots of meat), you get to choose different noodles, and taste-wise its perfect because the meat has been braised long enough to absorb all the spices and the soup has been simmered long enough to bring out umamis. Would absolutely come back next time that were in GTA!
Good food Noodles and soup are delicious Enough food Many choices Reasonable price
The best noodle/soup, boutique, neat & clean restaurant in downtown Markham. Ill recommend all my friends. Keep up the good work going. Cheers
I personally think it s overpriced for a bowl of noodles. $20 plus tax is really not cheap for the ingredients. I probably won t come back again.
Mediocre, overpriced. Got my order wrong would not come back again even though it s right downstairs of my condo.
Its always good to grab something to eat with my friend, Jennifer, aka @jenktraveltoeat. She knows all the good spots, especially in Markham. This time, we went to The Noodle Bar, where we enjoyed a delicious meal that was fully customizable. We got to choose the type of broth, type of noodles, the number and type of meats and/or veggies, and spice level, You can even get extra broth at no extra charge! My bowl included Beef Brisket, Chicken Wings, Pigs Feet, and Shiitake Mushrooms, over Thin Egg Noodles. Hers included Abalone, Fish Balls, Chicken Wings, and Pigs Feet, over Wide Egg Noodles. We both enjoyed it! Although their food was really good, I probably would never have come here on my own. Their social media accounts are not written in English so I wouldnt know what Im looking at or what I should order. More English language, please. Thank goodness for friends!
A rare authentic Hong Kong cart noodle place. Reasonably priced, fast service.
Cashier lady Rene is super polite and extremely helpful. Haven t tried the food yet. But I hope it s good. I will update :) Update: food was really good!
Hong Kong flavor, the cart noodles are delicious, and the milk tea is delicious. (HK style, Milk tea is good, fish skin is Yummy)
few noodles shop has cart style in toronto, very clean, modern stylish music. a bit pricey, carpark has few spaces. will come back.
Delicious broth and good coffee milk tea. Noddle could cook little more.
Been here a couple of times and I have to say I m always very impressed. I usually get the noodle soup with 3 toppings. Today I got braised brisket, chicken wings and daily veg. Nice amount of portions for each toppings. Everything well seasoned, all goes nicely with the hot broth and noodles. Service is about as you would expect, and the food comes out FAST. It s such a shame they only open until 5:30pm! All in all give this no-nonsense noodle bar a shot - its definitely worth a try.
I ordered both the noodle soup (#2 and dry noodle (#3 Both were very delicious ! ! Order was prepared on time and ready when I arrived. Staff were courteous and friendly. Strongly recommend this noodle bar !!!
The Noodle Bar Markham is super in taste.
Don t come on weekends if you don t wanna wait for an hour. Weekday is fine, and you ll get your food within a few minutes.
Very delicious noodles, I like it
