The most beautiful and delicious sushi. 5/5 stars everytime.
I forgot what top tier sushi tasted like. Their menu is very limited, but everything is masterfully made. The rice is nicely cooked, the pieces are not too big and the rice isn’t too packed. Every slice of fish is exactly the same size. Those details are often missing from other take out sushi places in the city.
I was surprised, by how good the sushi I ordered tasted. Surprised because theire shop is so unassuming. Great find, it only took me three years, to find it, since moving into the neighborhood.
We had it at a friend's house. The nigiri was very good . I was satisfied to have a proper Japanese sushi.
This is a sushi restaurant inside the J-Town building. You can see the chef making the sushi with all his heart. You can eat authentic Japanese sushi and sell it in an easy-to-eat package for lunch. The shop is small and you can eat at the counter or on an outdoor bench. You have to go early to eat this sushi. Sushi is sold out after 12 noon. I love this house so much
Great chef making delicious and lovable sashimi and sushi. From the hands of a skilled Japanese sushi chef, I enjoy my every lunch every time I visit. Everybody is polite and happy to each other, chef, staff and customers. Small place but Great stay.
I’ve been coming here since about the early 2000s. I’m Japanese and my family and parents all agree this is equal to the best sushi we have ever had anywhere. Perfect sushi rice and fresh, quality ingredients. I’ve included images of the current take out menu/prices/hours of operation as of end of December 2021.
I got the matsu tray for Valentines day! A little bit on the pricier side but every piece was absolutely delicious. It's worth the splurge. We were both full after finishing this tray.

only giving 4 stars because my first encounter here was amazingggg, sushi was fresh and we could tell everything was prepared right then. loved it. but my second encounter, the girl at the front was kind of rude and also didnt place any chopsticks, napkins or any of that in our bag which was annoying.
Our go-to sushi spot. Ive driven out from Pickering during COVID to satisfy our cravings. Great service and travels well.

One of the best and affordable sushi sets in Toronto. Make sure to call them a day in advance, they are being effecient and only produce what was ordered in advance.

Out of all the sushi places in Markham, this has the best sushi in my opinion.
Tora Sushi is a great new restaurant at Yorkdale! They are definitely a step above most of the restaurants available at the mall. I love that you order your food on a ipad, and the conveyor belt delivers the food directly to your table. Its fun and different, and Id highly recommend everyone trying it. Its perfect for a date night! The aburi sushi offered is spot on, and it just melts in your mouth. The aburi scallop oshi was constantly reordered at our table. Overall it was a great dining experience.

Expensive and unpalatable! A complete waste of resources, excellent ingredients, and the taste is simply indescribable. The only interesting thing is that the little train delivers food, but it is a bad trick in other countries. I won t go there again, there is no service, even Wasabi is not freshly ground, it feels like spending a lot of money to eat in a food court The only thing worth ordering is the salad, the rest is non-existent

Seriously this place makes like the best sushi and Ive gone to a lot of sushi places and have been really disappointed and this place just blew me away. AYCE is nice to be filled up with, but have been let down so many times. This place makes a case for quality but with reasonable prices. Will definitely default to this place when I want sushi in the area. I ate that piece of Sashimi squid , oh my God it melted in my mouth. Brought me back to memory When I was in Montreal eating at a fancy sushi rest. When I was trying to look for this place I was expecting a restaurant but its actually like a little small shop inside a marketplace, all the way in the back, but dont let the appearance fool you because the food really speaks for itself.

I came here for lunch and had the teriyaki steak. It was really tasty and they made it how I asked for
No website, no menu, no one here when I showed up. Rather disappointing.
