The very best Vietnamese Cuisine in Markham. ... Pho Quinn offers authentic Vietnamese cuisine using only the finest ingredients cooked fresh each day.
I agree that the portion can be larger but the taste is really good, why it scores so low like only 4.0? The staff is nice and sweet, and the food is tasty, I think it is worth a 4.5 or above, come on and don’t be too harsh and mean 😅
I am surprised that the rating is so low here?! The food is great and the staff is friendly and lovely. The pho is authentic, it was just the herbs and vegetables not cut well to serve but you can request them. The drink is amazingly refreshing and I actually go again for the salty lemon 7-up, one thing is not so good that the restaurant is always full and therefore it is a bit noisy but proves that they give good food, just don’t get mess up by the others, I tried it and it was good, maybe they can serve bigger portions but everything is expensive nowadays and you always can choose bigger bowl, right? Well, watch my photos and give it a try, I cannot say it is perfect but I used to eat my Vietnamese housemate pho so I know how authentic here is 👍🏻
First time here and it’s such a cozy spot! The chef special beef pho and shrimp on sugar cane is yummy and pretty good portion for the price. Would definitely come back to visit! They even had a cute robot coming to your table with the food - I can see it being popular with kids :)
This place was good years ago, now there’s so many pho restaurants around that it’s hard to justify coming here. For one, there’s no broken rice and everything else looked and tasted mediocre. Also might be the thinnest grilled lemongrass chicken I’ve been served. It’s like they cut it in between and served as 2.
Special beef pho and pork chop rice are good. But all deep fried item doesn’t taste good. Mostly over cook.
The Vietnamese food at this restaurant is mediocre, lacking the rich flavors typically associated with the cuisine. The pho was bland and the banh mi was dry, failing to impress. Additionally, the service left much to be desired, as the staff seemed indifferent and inattentive.
Vietnamese restaurants seem to be on the rise in Markham, but Pho Quinn is still one of the best in town. From the aromatic broth to the flavorful curry, all the dishes I had were exceptional. With all things considered, the price and portion of the food are reasonable. What pleased me the most is... I did not have to wait long for a table! In other places, I had to wait for an ungodly long time to get seated for food that is subpar to Pho Quinn's. Looking forward to my next visit!
We have visited Pho Quinn several times and each time we come, the food and service is great. We tried several dishes, including the vermicelli, classic beef pho, grilled chicken rice, tomato noodle soup, and seafood fried noodles. All the dishes were very tasty and had good flavour. The variety across the menu is great. The service was very fast and the servers were friendly. The food also came exceptionally quick today.
Very cozy and intimate setting for Vietnamese cuisine. The pho is great - other places add a lot of msg which causes insatiable thirst. The pho here is affordable and the soup is fragrant, perfectly seasoned with notes of sweetness (but not too sweet). My gf whos half Vietnamese and is very picky with her pho was satisfied here :)
Food quality is just okay compared to the numerous Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Rice dishes are good. Service could be better. Food
Me and my girl we love this little restaurant located across from the Markville Mall, we come here all the time. We love the pad Tai, beef fried rice and of course the pho. They always treat us with kindness and we love their food and service! 5 stars!!!
I see people ordering pho soup often Their Pho soup is great but if they explore more items from the menu, they would discover that whole menu is full of great recipes and delicious food. Ive many vietnamese restaurants but this one is my best favourite one. Food
Great Pho place. Very tasty and good value for price . Definitely will come back! Food : 5/5
Cool appetizers
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible Restaurant. We let your accessible parking right in front. Food
Best tasting Pho in Markham
So far so good
Price was good. However the taste isn t very authentic and service was very bad. I ordered and the server argued that I made a mistake. The food was not the best.
Not very many places that serve chicken pho with only chicken broth. I decided to bring my family here for dinner. The food did not disappoint. The service was great. We have 2 kids and the wait staff were friendly and so patient with us during the weekend dinner rush.
There was a fly in our water
Lemon So Little Powder Shrimp pancake spring rolls are so special Cendol Ice is so good Sister Asia s service is so attentive
Disappointed overall taste is below average. Bland broth tasteless noodles and seemingly lower quality meat. Would not recommend.
Love this place. Fast service, great pho anx bun and new-ish robo-server. Not so busy before 6pm, but gets busy, quickly around dinner time! Parking: Lots of parking at the back of the plaza! Kid-friendliness: Always many families enjoying dinner here
Excellent pho restaurant in the north end of niagara falls residential neighborhood. Food was amazing and the service Excellent. The place is very clean and modern. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible ramp to the restaurant
The food is always great here, its my local Pho spot and they always have a lot of options available !
This is worst place to come.never use the kiosk to order your food it Dietary restrictions: Ask to use kiosk which doesnt work.waited in he restaurant for a hour they still cant find my order Food : 1/5
Absolutely wonderful Vietnamese cuisine. Pho Quinn is definitely the best pho place I have ever tried. Our food came in less than 5 minutes, my boyfriend ordered the bun bo hue and I ordered the rare beef pho. The portion was also huge considering the affordable price. I would definitely go here again and would recommend Pho Quinn to anyone who is looking for delicious, authentic, and affordable Vietnamese cuisine. The owners and staff members are also incredibly friendly and helpful :)
such good prices in this economy!!! got a Large pho for $14
Authentic Vietnamese food, crispy spring rolls and shrimp cakes, and a rare three-color vermicelli ice drink. I was very happy to eat. The environment was relatively quiet during afternoon tea time and felt casual.
Really enjoy their pork rice and pho dishes
The owner Donnie is a great host and the food is fabulous
3.5 for me. The large pho didnt feel quite like a large, more like a medium, could use a bit more meat/noodles. The spring rolls are quite good. Also got the grilled chicken and rice and it was average, too much rice. The vietnamese coffee was diluted. Overall, not a bad spot by any means and the prices are quite reasonable considering the current economy, but dont expect anything to blow your mind.
This place always brings all the best on the meal and service. I always get the chicken and vegetable with white .
Food was mediocre. Had the bun bo hue. Not spicy at all.
Huge servings and absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back!
Positively a great experience. The food is five star The service is five star Come and join me here at the restaurant. It s easy to find parking as well.
Food is decent, but never order takeout or delivery. They purposely leave out items (typically the most desired items like rare beef or tendon) and then say oops it was a mistake. 3 times isnt a mistake, its standard practice.
Always good food at great prices! I especially love their vermicelli bowl with sausage, spring roll and grilled pork, best I ve tried yet!
Nice food and friendly staff
Amazing food !!! Incredible staff !! Very warm and welcoming !! Wonderful selection! Great crowd and very much nice family atmosphere. I recommend this great restaurant to anyone. They do a fantastic job and the owners are great leads and delightful people . Service is excellent and we love coming in all the time. Thanks much !
Always good food and service
The food was incredible, simple quick fresh yet one of the best meals Ive had in a very long time. The service was happy and friendly and so was the owner. This will be my go to restaurant from now on.
Decided to come here based on reviews. Just finished my meal a few moments ago. Ordered a bowl of rare beef pho and the grilled chicken with sunny and rice.. OMG. I have been searching, and we ve found our spot. 100 hands down the portions and flavour were excellent. And staff was super friendly! Definitely DO try this place, it s worth it!
Consistently good, tasty, fresh. Not too oily nor salty. Prompt courteous service. I usually order the chefs pho or vermicelli with spring roll and grilled pork or beef.
horrible food
Very nice interior and the food was amazing, They also had this cute robot that comes around and serves you along side with a kiosk which provides visuals and prices!
Great food, with affordable price, great service.
Love the atmosphere, would come back again.
Great Food. If your are caraving for soup tjis place is the best!! The pork chop too is the best. And great service too. We met the owner and she is so nice.
Good services. Food is delicious. Highly recommended. Will come again!
Very comfortable, elegant environment, delicious, highly recommended
Great for families and casual gatherings, this restaurant has quickly become my go-to for vietnamese food. The service was prompt and friendly and the value is unbeatable.
Its great food. Although I find their portions poor in their mixed vegetables. I have to buy 2 orders just to have enough to go around. Their prices have gone up slightly but so has everyone else! Still good food tho. Jan 10, 2024 Update They fixed their portions. (I mentioned it.) Lol. Pho Quinn has been in Markham for decades. They are a perennial all star when it comes to Vietnamese food. Check it out if you like Viet food. Mar 26.24 update. Still the same. I eat there often. Its in my rotation. Lol. No major changes to report.
Between 3 and 4 stars. Food: I went multiple times and if you stick to mainline dishes like pho or egg noodles dishes, itll be a reasonably nice experience (closer to 4 stars). However I would not recommend the pricier dishes as their menu pictures are very misleading and gives less than expected. Strictly in terms of taste though (not quantity), the taste was decent and is what you would expect from other Vietnamese style restaurants. Note though I also do not recommend specifically the red Vietnamese sausages because it is hit or miss (as in sometimes stale/dry but once out of a few times it was juicier). Rating of the service (waiter/waitress) depends on who is serving you, but about average on the lower end, but never outright rude. Examples dishes of what I had enjoyed were the standard Pho noodles (with assorted beef that often are included with pho), egg noodles and I also tried their vegetarian option if you wanted something less meaty. My experiences were on Wednesdays/Thursdays for dinner.
Foods r excellent. I love their fried rice
An amazing variety of Vietnamese dishes, all made fresh with quality ingredients. The prices are very affordable as well and they offer tea with your meal for free. Would definitely return!! They have a cute little robot server too :)
Ive been to Pho Quinn several times and its their take out thats the problem. I made a simple order. Shrimp roll, small rare beef pho and a large rare beef, brisket and bfball pho. I pick up give a tip only to be disappointed that my large pho was completely wrong. The restaurant was not even busy. Is it so hard to check the order before packing it up for pick up? This is not the first time this had happened. Thats why Im so disappointed.
Saw a hair in my pho and the server with glasses didnt do anything about it. Then, I told the other server about the issue and said he ll give me 10% off like that would solve the issue. Poor service, flavourless broth. There are much better places.
Overall, food was mediocre. Nothing mind-blowing, but not super terrible. Certainly don t consider it my go-to pho place. Price is good, serving size is decent. Spring rolls were just a tad oily but was crispy and tasty.
Not sure if this was just a one-off but the bun bo hue is the spiciest I ve ever tried yet! Can also never go wrong with a simple bowl of house special pho and fried spring rolls
Really cool place with very very reasonably priced food. Generous portions and great atmosphere!
good!
I ve been to pho a few times now. Service is fast and efficient. Food is good. It s good value for what you get.
Enjoy my lunch. The broth is flavourful and the noodles were delicious. The servers were nice.
First time here. Place is decent sized as they have another side that they use if the place is full. Staff were ok I guess, just there really. Food not much different really just like regular stuff. I wasnt really impressed. Broth was almost bland, even the fresh rolls lacked any real flavour. Overall I probably wont be returning as there are sooo many other Vietnamese restaurants out there to try. I think I am still going to recommend to those who like more pedestrian Vietnamese food with not so much depth or flavour.
Ive been coming here for all of my life. I would eat here everyday when I was younger. I mean everyday. I would always order the same thing, but never get bored of it. The staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious. Thank you for all of the warm, flavourful, appetizing noodles and kind service!
Best Tom Yum soup! So flavourful with jumbo shrimp that are juicy and not overcooked. I asked if I could have it extra spicy and I was given a small chili pepper to add! Thanks!!
I enjoyed the pho and service was friendly and quick. We were served within a few minutes after ordering.
Went to this restaurant a few times. The food quality is deteriorating. Today, we found 3 out of 4 dishes are unacceptable. The vermicelli on one of the bowls is not fully cooked, dry and chewy. We are disappointed and will not go again.
Ordered C09 (tomato, crab, and sausage). It s really nice, full with flavor and with strong seafood smell and taste. Service is fantastic, they have a cute service robot too
Its okay to try once
First visit to this local Vietnamese spot. Opted for Grilled chicken rice plate and deep-dried spring rolls. The food came out very quickly but was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately the grilled chicken seemed pre-cooked and only briefly touched the grill. Spring rolls were overly greasy. Others in our group ordered pho and despite coming in a large bowl were surprisingly small portioned. The restaurant was deceivingly busy but the food clearly doesnt warrant it. Wont be back again when other Vietnamese restaurants are pumping out delicious, fresh eats.
Not that good. Meat balls are small. Broth could be made more flavourable. Curry is good, but the meat was probably made separately and not with the curry.
*Clean as usual *. Many Servers are nice. Food are decent. They comes in timely manner. A bit pricy compare to others but worthwhile. Music is calm and relax.. we need this relaxation time after COVID 19.
I got the rare beef and beef balls pho and the broth was disappointing. There wasnt any taste to the broth the only good thing about the bowl was the amount of toppings they gave. I also ordered the avocado milkshake it also had little taste to it. Every dish came out picture perfect until you taste it.
Great taste, good service, nice environment
New Years Eve 2022. Ordered chicken pho and pork spring rolls. Friend ordered bun with spring roll and sausage on a bed of rice noodles. Everything was hot and delicious. Service was prompt and courteous. Pho Quinn never disappoints - a great neighborhood restaurant! Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetable dishes to choose from Parking: Ample free parking right in front of restaurant including handicapped parking close to front door. Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant - children welcome
This is one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants, Ive come here too many times. The lemongrass pork chops is chefs kiss. the meals feel healthy and balanced as well.
First time trying, the pho is very good, broth is not overly salty with good flavour. The 3 bean drink was ok, but not sweet enough. The pho is the star though, and would highly recommend.
Good place if you are looking for pho in markham during winter. Service was quick and good atmosphere for family setting.
Very friendly service, tasty food.
The food was amazing, I ordered online and it was ready super fast. I will be back.
The best restaurant in Toronto, the perfect restaurant Sévices just point à point, clients peut manger tranquillement A very delicious Vietnamese restaurant, with good service, top quality products, and a very high CP value
I like their Pho and the rice noodles (without soup). They both taste great! I tried both take out and dine in, the Pho definitely tastes better if you eat in. And the rice noodles (without soup) were still GOOD when I ate them at home. Good Vietnamese food, will definitely go again.
We come here often for lunch on Sundays. Comfortable seating, friendly staff, quick service, lots of meals to choose from. I like the chef special pho and the broth is not too salty, not too bland. The soup is really hot and good for a cold day. Prices and portion sizes are reasonable too. However, I prefer more beef and beef balls in my pho. Great place to go if you re in a rush, overall great experience.
Special beef noodle soup is excellent. Flavor is good, broth flavor is not so salty like other places and generous amounts of topping like beef, tendons and meatballs. The noodle portion is a little small but otherwise very good. Prices are very reasonable too, about $12 for a Large bowl. Solid 4/5 stars
Food is good and the price is reasonable
Tasty food at reasonable price and great service
Not bad for the price, hot soup for pho and the meat and noodles are fresh. If you don t like raw bean spouts, you can ask them to bring you cooked ones. The restaurant is clean and they bring chopsticks and spoon in a bucket of hot water. Staff service was decent.
A really stable Vietnamese restaurant in quality. Not outstanding, but it won t disappoint. A good spot to have a quick Pho when it s freezing outside or you have no time! Recommended dishes
one of best Vietnam restaurant in town. Really like the signature pho. Do not try Pad Thai though. Food
Good food and affordable prices.
Been a regular at this restaurant for years now and it stays a go to. Service is good and food always comes out fast and hot. Now I typically always order a vermicelli bowl but I have a suspicion they are putting less and less noddles in my bowl each time. Side eye. Nonetheless still a great Vietnamese restaurant to check out.
Ive had the pleasure of dining at Pho Quinn Vietnamese Restaurant several times now, and each visit has been a delightful experience. Ive tried everything from the Pho soup to the Bun and Rice plate, and I must say, the food is consistently delicious. But what really stands out for me are the Nem Nuong rolls - they are simply the best Ive had in a long time. The combination of flavors and textures in these rolls is truly amazing. The service is also top-notch, with a friendly and helpful staff who ensure that you have a great dining experience. I highly recommend Pho Quinn Vietnamese Restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine that never disappoints.
4+1 waiters are too busy?
Terrible quality of beef and bland broth. These pictures are from two separate take-out orders. Questionable cuts of beef and randomly portioned ie. chunky, given that its supposed to be thin to cook in the broth. The broth was bland. I dont normally add hoisin or sriracha sauce, but had to in order to make something of the broth.
Great service. Food is good. Nothing fancy. Their food is always consistent and well cooked. Recently, there s a slight change of taste. Not sure the head chef still works there. I ll still come back for lunch and dinner.
Much tastier than the one next door
Very clean and yummy restaurant
This Restaurant is under rated, i had lunch with my cousin and i must say, all the dishes are very good, i tried other places all the way down to Maidland. Not even close to this one. Still the same as i took my son here 5 years ago. i have eaten all over from Mississauga to Toronto downtown to Richmond Hill to Scarborough This one is a keeper
Great place for Pho with efficient service and good value. Love the idea of bringing spoons and chopsticks in boiling water. And if you ask for fresh chilli, you also get scissors to cut them. Genius!!
Consistent, fast and good food. Open many years .
This place along with its servers are absolute garbage. Found a staple in the soup and the servers were not even apologetic. They acted like this was an everyday occurrence and the only thing they said was I will let the kitchen know. I was not even asking for a refund or anything of that sort but I should have taken a picture and posted it to social media. I was just so disgusted with everything after that it made me sick to my stomach. Servers are unfriendly and the service is the worst I ve ever had the misfortune of experiencing. They give you a hot bowl of water to dip the greasy utensils into because I am pretty sure this is the only time it ever gets washed. The servers will also come up to you right before 9 pm and tell you to leave as they want to go home right at 9 pm, even though everyone in the restaurant has paid for their meal prior. Health inspections should be conducted on this restaurant. Overall, very bad experience. Will definitely not be coming here again.
Will save this restaurant to my list
I enjoyed their food. Tasty and filling :)
There s tissues in the soup very disgusting
I dont know whats wrong with this restaurant or its server, if theyre racist because my husband was the only black guy in the entire place, but they singled us out very badly and our service was down right horrible. Everything we asked for we had to ask for twice after hunting the servers down. They didnt give us any water until i asked for it the third time and they brought us half filled dirty cups that were different than everyones elses cups, when i looked over at the other tables everyones cup was full and clean. When i first waved the waiter over to ask for something he immediately brought me the check asking if were ready to leave even though he just handed our food to us 5 minutes before. Didnt talk to us, didnt tell us what was good, barely wanted to look at us, the only time i was able to get their attention was when they were attending to people AROUND us but did not want to make eye contact with out table. We didnt come in on any type of bad energy or behavior, we came to eat and were polite and clean, which is why it was so confusing why the second we walk through the door they were not willing to have us. The only way i can consider their behavior is because theyre RACISTS. When we left, they didnt even look up at us or say bye, like they were for everyone else.
Had a great vermicelli bowl, and the restaurant was clean and the staff were welcoming.
Our go-to joint nearby for good Vietnamese eats. Their pho and bun are both consistently tasty, service is prompt and they also accept credit cards. Prices are reasonable and food is authentic. Recommended!
A ton of small curly hairs in my pho Thankfully I saw them on my spoon before I took a bite. This was from an Uber order Food
Food is great! Broth is clean. Prices are also very reasonable. Service is also wonderful. Lots of space and clean dining.
Tried their new location went in today for long weekend meal hoping some good food ordered D4 ate before. D.a.m the fish sauce is so little and sour and no flavor. Bun size shrinked 1/3 compared to pre pandemic with price increased 2$ avg per dish now. Spring roll is over cooked dark brown and sharp corner cut my lips. Grilled pork is top fat and very salty with layers oil brushed on top on grilled. Wont return as dont wanna dies soon high cholestorol. Im sure the male owner will check cctv and see who went in by giving him such bad reviews!
My first time having Pho and it was delicious. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was great.
Ordered some small dishes and a pho noodle, food and service have met my expectation, will return in the future
I will first say I ordered takeout and the food was very good but I had two issues, there was a hair in my fish oil which I initially ignored, then also found a bug in my beef stew. I understand these things can happen in a kitchen so I don t want to be scathing as the food was otherwise very good and the service was great as well. Will take a break from ordering but hope to return eventually.
The food is too salty and the price is average.
Awesome customer service, food served quickly and was absolutely wonderful! Theres a reason why they have nearly 5 star review! Chefs special pho was what we got, great selection of meats!
Really good pho, and really quick service. Their spring rolls were also fantastic. Highly recommended sit in pho place. Everyone in the family was satisfied.
Super clean. Friendly staff. Delicious pho.
My partner and I seemed to have Diarrhea after having pho and rice from this place. Happened twice.
In terms of pho, this is one of the best places in Markham. The service is a little lackluster as most waiters and waitresses dont look up from whatever theyre doing and you really need to yell to get their attention when its busy. The atmosphere is decent.
Clean restaurant with a good selection of food. Enjoyed the pho and spring rolls. The coconut drink was super refreshing. Service was very fast!
The restaurant and the utensils they use are clean and nice. Food and service are very good. Staff are polite.
I have ordered the appetizers platter and a grilled pork chop soup noodles. Food is very good, hot and freshly made. No MSG at this location, but I had rice and soup noodle at warden location, there is MSG. The menu has a lot of options and not pricy.
Today s meal was disappointing. Very little service, not enough bean sprout and herbs for our pho orders (large bowls), and different cut of beef that was cut too thick and made pho broth taste off. Won t be going back anytime soon. When we gave them feedback about the meal and asked if the recipe changed they said maybe it s because they were busy today (even though they were only at 50% capacity when we walked in).
I ordered pad thai, but why does it color pink??? And taste not good.
low key best bahn mi
This is my second time coming, first time was okay. I was in the area again but the broth lacked flavor, and I experienced stomach discomfort after trying their signature pho. My daughter ordered a rice dish, but both the rice and meat were undercooked. Additionally, the accompanying fish sauce didnt have a pleasing taste.
I liked the curry soup here.
Its not authentic at all.. very plain, and not like what they advertise on the photo Vegetarian options: They have a lot
Excellent Pho noodles
Best Pho place Ive ever had!!!
Reasonable prices and great food
First time here, I got the rare beef and beef ball, iced coffee, & fried spring roll. The beef balls are tiny, portion was okay, broth was good. The ice coffee was watery, presentation wasn t the best. Spring roll was hard at the end the vermicelli was so hard to chew, & it was oily. My whole experience was just okay it wasn t the best. I don t think I will be returning.
Decent food and average sized portions for average prices. This location has better decor than the Scarborough location. Servers speak English, Vietnamese, Cantonese and Mandarin. Comfortable seating, and they get busy on weekends. But you shouldnt need to wait for a table. Lots of parking available here.
Best pho in town. The other vegetarian dishes are meh, but pho and fresh vegetables rolls are delicious
Absolute tiny portions. Ordered two regular size pho for $12.50 each. Likely wont be coming back.
Very busy lunchtime, however the staff were very efficient & cleaned tables was soon as they were vacant. Our selection was yummy with decent sized portions - Pho Quinn has also been our go to for ordering and pickup for home 2023 Nov 14 Chicken Bun Vermicelli is a really nice change from the chicken with rice
Best soup noodle and Best service from Jeanette.
Been to Pho Quinn multiple times to see if they would change my mind but they haven t at all and I don t think I ll be back on my own. The Bun Rieu was okay. The soup was slightly watered down and it only had 2 shrimps. The Pho was a large yet the overall dish seemed like a small sized portion. The soup was also watered down. The Pho also came out SO quick after ordering which is lowkey sus despite having a good amount of customers. The portion sizes for both dishes were under and we were definitely not full after coming here. It was hard to flag a waitress down for the bill. They did let us sit longer even after finishing our meal so that was nice I guess.
The food here is fantastic.
Parking: Lots of parking available + there us extra spots behind the building. Food
Amazing pho! The crispy spring rolls are some of the best I ve had
Got called the n word the second I step in
Fairly priced vietnamese restaurant. Most of the dishes on the menu are pretty delicious, with good portion too. Either dine in or take out would be good option. Its my first choice of comfort food. Food
Cheap and cheerful - however our pho was bland and the noodles were over cooked so they were a bit mushy.
Good place Parking: Lots of space Food : 5/5 |
This was our first experience with this restaurant. We placed our order easily and it was a quick pick up. The food was delicious and we cant wait to try other dishes next time.
The restaurant is very clean. Parking spaces are very convenient at night. The waiters are kind and the food is good.
Amazing pho but shrimp still has its poop in it
Food amazed me and my friend. We went here after shopping yesterday, and ordered two kinds of vermicelli to share. End up ordered additional soup and fried spring rolls. Would definitely come again!
The service is attentive, the food is fresh, and the takeout is always fresh when you take it home. I like the special beef noodles the most
This has been my familys and friends go-to spot for some delicious and authentic Vietnamese Pho! Been going there at least 2 times a week up and until COVID. Take-out quality has been consistent as if it was dine in. Would definitely recommend them if youre craving some hearty Vietnamese Pho
Hong kong style pho.
The restaurant is located in a corner with enough seating. We got the table immediately as it wasnt that busy, I got the chicken rice noodle soup it was really good the only negative I would say is it wasnt that hot enough other than that tasty! Next was the Rare beef & Beef balls noodles soup same good beef balls were nice and the Spring rolls were awesome as well. Overall had a good experience worth a try.
Great customer service, however the pho was very watered down with zero taste. We crave this dish immensely after a hangover but this did not cure it.
Could not even finish my food because it was so bland and ruined my appetite. Would not recommend this place for your pho fix. Definitely not authentic Vietnamese, heard them speaking Chinese to each other.
The food is ok, except the mango salad which has very little mango strips, most are just lettuce. Will not order again. The coconut water is exceptionally good and fresh. The pho is ok but the L portion is not as big as others. Parking: Lots of parking in the front
First thing first, if you are looking for a conventional Canadian Pho, this is not the place for you. For someone who has been Hanoi, had the authentic pho bo there, you will probably find them pretty alright and the taste is spot on. Pho bo is originally from North Vietnam, the beef broth was made of beef bones, lemon grass, cinnamon, shallot and various spices. The ingredients were still boiled (boiled under very low heat) to make a clear broth. The color of the broth should be light and clear, fragrant is more important and profound than the taste. Thats what we looking for and thats what we have here. The bun bo hue here is also very authentic. You can definitely taste the shrimp paste in the soup and a piece of pork trotter as topping is also a must in bun bo hue. The flavour, the toppings and the soup has ticked all the boxes for what it is, there are not many places could do such authentic Vietnamese soup noodles in Markham. I know some might say the soup here is lack of flavors compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in Markham, but are those the authentic pho, probably not. The Pho here is not too heavy, not too strong in flavor but morish and enjoyable. Spring rolls were crispy and used the right pastry to wrap. Gotta say there are so many Chinese-nised spring rolls here in Markhams Vietnamese restaurants, thankfully they are not one of them. Dishes here seem authentic and they even have the bamboo shoot and duck soup noodles in the menu, which is not usually seen in Vietnamese shop over here. I had it once in Hanoi and I love it but the fermented bamboo shoot smell is not everyones cup of tea, I will probably try it next time around. All in all, the dishes here are authentic and delicious, but may not be the one that the Canadians liked and had for decades. One last thing, if they would give us a bigger plate of herbs and bean sprouts, it would be miraculous. What are the requirements for a bowl of Vietnamese beef noodles? It s good if the system is thick enough and dark enough. Its the right way to choose what I like and what suits my taste. It may be said to the general public Whether food tastes good or not is subjective But it s a food review that can be read by people in Lebanon It s not just based on what I think is good. No matter how much or how little, there must be some basis and some history. This Vietnamese pho, in my experience, is authentic. Vietnamese beef noodle itself is not a southern food. The origin of beef noodles is North Vietnam The taste is light and the fragrance is better than anything else This is because I have eaten so much overseas beef noodles. The most similar taste to my Hanoi food That person once said The Vietnamese noodles in Hong Kong are not tasty enough Food in Toronto I personally disagree Because it depends on the taste of food The beef soup of Hanoi Beef Noodles is not famous for its strong beef taste. The main flavor is spices In fact, when you know that the soup system is better You will understand that the soup is on the bland side. Beef noodle soup is made from beef bones Burnt lemongrass, cinnamon, dried onions and star anise Cooked over slow fire to bring out the flavor There was no fire during this period, it was just cooked warm The color of the soup should be clear and the flavor should not be destroyed by high temperature. Xianzheng can do it before he arrives Just smell the fragrance So how can we have strong-tasting beef noodles? How can you taste the spices if the beef tastes too strong? Most beef noodles in North America It seems that a Chinese businessman stirred up a bowl of five-spice beef brisket powder Xianzhenganle Its better to just eat beef brisket noodles. Its rare that this hotel (although it should be opened by Chinese people) does not have such disadvantages But for the Chinese people here, Li said Maybe its just not tasty enough As for the bowl of Hue beef noodles The soup tastes like shrimp paste as soon as it enters your mouth. There are really not many restaurants that can achieve such delicious taste. Moderate spiciness and complete ingredients Attached is a piece of pigs knuckle, which is necessary for Bun Bo Hue. There s no such thing as Hue Beef Noodles Of course it would be better if you have Buried Niuhong But it doesn t matter The spring rolls are fried very crispy The fillings look similar The most important thing is to use spring roll wrappers Many of the stores here are from random stores. To be honest, this really teaches a lot of people a bad lesson. So, all Chinese people want strong taste in everything. Xian Zheng thinks it s a Kung Fu mentality The real system needs to refresh its three views Just think about it, there are so many styles of Japanese ramen soup. Pure chicken soup is divided into clear chicken soup and white chicken soup. There is really no reason to eat a bowl of chicken broth ramen I guess the taste is thin and not thick enough. If you want something rich, you should eat chicken white soup You can tell me if you personally don t like the chicken consomme bland. Not to your taste But you cant say that people are not tasteful enough. Sorry, I just wanted to take the opportunity to say something humane Personally, if you think it tastes good, tie it up If you dont like it, just tell others about it. Its a subjective twist. #phobo #bunbohue #lifestyle4skintfoodies
Service was good, servers were quick to look after anything we needed. We were a table of 8 who are well versed with how Northern/Southern Pho tastes based on mothers cooking experience along with authentic experience back home. The pho soup here lacked a lot of flavour and tasted very watery and not one person was able to finish their bowl which is extremely extremely rare with our group. We would hope to try this again sometime in the future as we are not locals to the area.
Best Pho in town with awesome beef broth. BUT portion is getting smaller and smaller in the last few years.
