Was so excited to try this place after seeing all the good reviews but I was very disappointed. Fried Chicken had no flavor and it tasted like old oil. Overcooked and dry. 32$ for a 3 piece meal and some "cod cakes". Maybe the fish n chips is good . 3.4/10

The chicken was dry, overcooked or been there awhile,not worth the expensive price of 63$ for the 12 pieces etc,it's been a couple of times that I find it not the best.

In one visit my stomach traveled all the way to my hometown in spirit. As a Gaspesian I miss Dixie Lee all the time, it's always the first stop when going home. This was like going home. Alain was friendly and entertaining, as we Gaspesians tend to be. Will visit again, and HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone who loves good food and country style hospitality!
Simple moist fried chicken. Fried to order and worth the wait. They also have fish and chips. Worth a stop or drive to try it out nothing fancy but good fried chicken.

We loved going to this restaurant so much but like last year we were very disappointed $45 for two meals this year, a 4 piece meal that didnt even taste like usual and was so greasy that it ran down our fingers and not forgetting the cod fish & chips which was cooked in old oil so it tasted disgusting, even if we removed the breading to be able to eat it for the price we paid, it had soaked into the fish. The fries were good, they were not overcooked but not enough nomplus. For me its over, I gave him one more chance at this restaurant and luckily he burned it like oil. I hope you find a good cook in your future.

First experience at this restaurant and unfortunately the last. The chicken is overcooked and therefore dry. You dont feel any flavor or even seasoning on this one. Also, there was no breading or buttermilk in the mix. Only the skin of the chicken... We feel that the oil used is old and worn. The fries are poorly seasoned and the coleslaw is more like an onion salad. The formula needs to be reworked.

Its a style. My fish and chips had no taste except the grease. These are frozen fries; for a frying place its a lack. The plastic utensils are really very low quality. The fork does not resist heat and becomes deformed. The staff is very courteous.

I couldnt wait to come and try! Unfortunately disappointed! Fish and chips that dont taste like fish, then a shrimp roll for $10.50 with more cabbage than shrimp, fries frozen too dry, quite ordinary... I dont recommend it at all! You are misrepresenting Gaspésie.

The best fishing chips I have ever eaten. The thickness of the breading was just perfect and the size of the fish fillet was enormous. The taste was perfect. The portion was ideal. My wife and my grandson (8 years old), who is very picky, had a great time. Plus, everything was very affordable. We will definitely be returning soon, especially since there are plenty of other things to try. We must not forget that this is a fast food and take out restaurant.
We took the seafood snack plates. The products are fresh and the breading is delicious and crispy. Special mention to the succulent cod. If there was one thing to improve, it would be to have homemade fries rather than frozen. We still left very happy with our dinner!
