Sushi Taxi in Mascouche

The owners have changed. The sushi is dry and very lightly garnished. The person at the counter told me that people were complaining that the sushi was too big and that they respect the sizes of the banner. Um... be frank and dare to admit that this is redundancy. To regularly consume so much in St-Sauveur, Laval and Mascouche (a place where I will no longer go), sincerely it was far from the quality that I am accustomed to with sushi taxi and with reduced portions, I strongly suggest you to avoid!

Definitely, I gave it a third chance, but once again, and even if you order more than an hour in advance, you are called to push you by 15 minutes and even at that, we are not able to provide hour without waiting another 15 minutes at the counter. So 90 minutes early.... really dont be in a hurry... And someone dared to tell me that my order is on time. First and last time. The tables are sticky. At 9:00 p.m. sharp, they throw you out. We hear the employees shouting at each other afterwards. The quality of the sushi made us wonder if they were freshly prepared. We took the ying yang (something like that), quite ordinary as the chefs choice. Badly rolled sushi, already undone in the box. We paid for a signature makis, 5 pieces... With the big ends we can say that we got 3 pieces.

Ordered for pick-up. Very disappointed, the sushi was not fresh at all. The rice was hard (as if already prepared in advance and put in the refrigerator). $100+ for 38 sushi, you expect a minimum of quality. I definitely wont go back. The Sushi-Taxi standard has decreased, it was definitely better in the past.

From our first try of sushi taxi it was a wow! Incredible, I found everything original, tasty better than the other known brands. So we quickly adopted this location at the Mascouche branch. It seems that the quality has gone down, the sushi was empty without taste, little variety when you always take their package/combo. We stopped going there because at this price it is very disappointing not to have consistency. And my neighbor made exactly the same remark to me recently...

Ive been ordering from this place for a long time, but tonight was the last time. I was surprised by a delivery fee of $8. I live 5 minutes away by car. Its just insane. The delivery guy told me it s because of the rise in gas prices. I understand that there may be an increase in fees, but this is completely indecent. As if that wasnt enough, the sushi really wasnt good. Really a big drop in quality. I will never go there again.

We ordered sushi to take away for the first time yesterday at Sushi Taxi Mascouche. Unfortunately we were really disappointed with the quality of the sushi and the presentation of it (see photos). The sushi was poorly rolled, impossible to pick up with our chopsticks without everything falling onto the plate. The lobster toppings on some sushi were so dry we didnt even eat them. In short, $115 worth of sushi for 2 people of such poor quality . Its sad. We wont go back there again.

The food was really not good. In the worst poke Ive eaten. The prices are exorbitant. We had canned pears in the poke. Were never going to go back to a sushi taxi. We want to be reimbursed. Im afraid of being sick

Despite the less than encouraging reviews of late, we still decided to try the restaurant. So we placed an order to be picked up at the branch. I had to wait an additional 60 minutes on site without being given updates and explanations. Several people were in the same situation as me and were starting to get exasperated. Some have requested refunds for waiting too long. People were sent home to be told they would be called back. When I received my food, 1 of the broths was deliberately replaced with another because there was no pork broth left for the ramen and I was not told, I had to ask when reviewing my bill before leaving the restaurant. The food was acceptable (sushi) but the ramen very normal/average. It seemed to lack organization and staff and the employees on site seemed helpless... General poor management of the administration.

Disappointing. The service was terrible. And the sushi same as the other comment before. Too big too soft.. really difficult to eat without it falling everywhere. Thrown with my son on a small table for 2 and when she came to carry the plate (too big for the table, I suggested she change to the other table. She changes.. without picking up the other customers waste or wash this one... I had to tell her... um... maybe pick this up... she never came back to take them or wash them or ask me if I needed anything... I find that the service is losing more and more The employees in my opinion preferred to sit. eat cantaloupe and chat . I liked it better when it was the previous owner.

I think average says it all. Its not difficult to make fresh rice, theirs is dry. The portion of fish in the rolls is laughable. In short, it will close guaranteed.

Super disappointed, the sushi rice was hard with few toppings inside. All our sushi was falling apart. The ramen soup had about 4 mouthfuls of pasta and chicken and the broth was super bland. $83 for 4 basic rolls and a soup

I havent been back to eat at this restaurant for three years already. Given the new administration I wanted to try and I am sincerely impressed. The chef presented us with a wow sushi platter! The waitress Jessie suggested an Alsatian wine and a tartare as a starter. I highly recommend this restaurant, the sushi is really delicious and above all fresh.

After a few difficult weeks during the pandemic, where the service was not at its best, I must say that sushi taxi Mascouche was able to get back on track brilliantly! The service respects the time of internet orders and these are the best sushi in town! Keep up the good work!

I have never been back to the Mascouche sushi taxi since it changed ownership. The service is fast and efficient and the boxes are so carefully prepared, a big 10/10 well done. They were able to advise me well on my tastes and what can I say about the new concept, it s great. I highly recommend I really liked my experience this Saturday.

Very ordinary service. Asked not to add wasabi and ginger to avoid waste and was told: we always add some . Chefs choice / Sunday special (6 different kinds), none are particularly good (read here bad). I dont recommend. There are much better options nearby and for much less money! Paying that price per sushi, my expectations were much higher!

Very disappointed with the quality and service received this Mothers Day. We ordered about a week in advance and at that time had chosen the Sunday maki foli which is cheaper that day only to be called to inform us that we had to pay full price since it was Christmas Day. mothers. We were also called a little before our order pickup time to say to arrive 30 minutes later since they had run out of rice! The quality of the sushi was not at all what we are used to having at Sushi Taxi (sushi that did not taste fresh and either the taxi sauce changed or they forgot to put the dark/sweet sauce in the sauce ,it was just mayo).

Excellent sushi, original, tasty, varied, its our favorite sushi place on the north shore. You lose a star because you are always late (delivery or takeaway).

Very disappointed with this branch, I ordered 2 trays so 1 which contains 24 pieces only to realize once at home that there were 18, of the 18 half seemed to lack ingredients and all of them were very small. I tried to contact the branch several times without ever being able to speak to anyone, put on hold and finally hung up on the line (1 time I can understand but 5 no), its not the first time Im disappointed with this branch but this is the last time, I no longer recommend there in addition to the price increase for less quality/quantity...

A first and last time!! The sushi is tiny, the prices are way too high and not to mention that one item was missing from our order. An item that we paid extra for!! When we called back to mention it, the manager offered to refund us (I hope so!!) and offered us a $1 credit on the next order!!! Just this after a $60 bill and to compensate for their mistake. We wait a very long time even if we order in advance. Its ok, we can understand that. Things are missing 2 times out of 3 (we review the invoice together with the employee who knows her sushi and who says that everything is there, we trust her). But we have to go back to the restaurant and make the guests wait, once again, because when we get home, when we count, theres ultimately a shortage of them. Its ok, we understand that, it happens. And sometimes, when youre waiting, you shouldnt walk around too much, youre told that you shouldnt dirty the floors. Quality sushi but lousy service, unfriendly waitress, I went back twice to tell her that I had not received the choice requested, she assured me that the sushi was random, that it was noted on the site chefs choice, which is false! Nothing is noted on the site, so I paid more for a dish to have the same sushi as the makifolie... what is very annoying is having to leave a mandatory tip for a person who doesnt deserve it.

We waited over 2.5 hours for our order to be delivered. This is unacceptable. We can understand that there may be delays due to Covid and traffic, but more than 2h30 for a delivery 10 minutes from the restaurant makes no sense, never again!

For the last two years, we have regularly purchased our sushi from this place. Two years ago, I wrote that the cuisine was very good (see below) but I only gave 3 stars because the service was very, very long. Today, at the end of November 2020, the cuisine no longer deserves stars and the service (on the phone) is very good. My wife, who often uses the services of Sushi Taxi Mascouche as part of her work, warned me that the quality had dropped a lot in recent months and that she hardly ordered from them anymore. I was very wrong not to listen to my wife and order two chefs specials (30 sushis). The disappointment was great. They were at least 24 hours old, they were definitely far from fresh. Before writing these lines, I took the trouble to send them an email telling them that our customer experience had been very, very disappointing. Its been more than 48 hours, I have had no response. Customer follow-up, 0. Its a shame, they made really good sushi. They were expensive, they still are (practically $2 per sushi with tax and tip) but they are no longer fresh. ---------------------------- Two years ago, I wrote: Service really very/too long. Worst experience I want to order online at 6:45 p.m. the site wont let me order because the delivery exceeds 8 p.m. so I call to order by phone after many calls I have the line it tells me to wait 15 minutes later I decides to hang up and go to the restaurant directly to be told which closes at 8 p.m. and cannot take my bulk order if you want to eat sushi from this restaurant plan 2 hours in advance worst service ever!

Hands down the worst sushi I ever had, the chefs looked lost and could barely make a simple avocado sushi roll. Also ordered a veggie roll ended up getting fruit sushi on my plate... and was refused to get it changed, avoid taking the chef choice... overpriced for the horrible food. Horrible horrible sushis! Sushis were not fresh at all... overpriced... very very bad experience!

Very good sushi, great service

I am a sushi lover and I loved sushi taxi in Mascouche! Beautifully prepared plate, delicious sushi. Courteous service and beautiful, quiet atmosphere in the restaurant. I thank Chef Marco for this great experience! Go for it!

Disservice. Sushi not worthy of Sushi Taxi, small, no quality. I might as well go buy some at IGA.
