Excellent meals and excellent cuisine

This evening, I discovered Le Piment Szechuan and I was pleasantly surprised. The dishes were delicious, with authentic flavors. The prices are very reasonable, which is always appreciated, especially if you choose the table d hôte. Special mention to the service: fast, efficient, and above all very attentive. We feel really welcomed. An address to remember if you like Asian cuisine!

One of the cleanest and most elegant Asian restaurants I have visited. I had a general tao chicken. It was very good and tasty. Beautiful presentation of the plates. Courteous service. Not expensive either. Positive experience!

I am a regular customer and I am never disappointed! The service is good and fast. The recipes do not change so if you like a dish and you come back you are guaranteed to have the same delicious dish! Even the faces dont change here, its the same servers for years so I imagine they are treated well! Here is what I tasted and enjoyed on the Menu: tom yam wonton soup crispy sesame beef curried Singapore noodles steamed white fish with ginger & shallots salt and pepper fried squid salmon tartare roll cashew chicken and chili peppers In terms of drinks, this is not a place for fancy cocktails and the wine list is rather limited. The bar is not organized to receive customers so it reduces the atmosphere a little but it is an excellent weekday or weekend restaurant if you come in a group. During the summer there is a terrace outside which can be covered if necessary, the toilets are super clean and there is a cloakroom to put in coats. I recommend!

A great dining experience in this well decorated, warm and inviting restaurant. The food is always delicious and the staff are friendly, efficient and courteous. I return there with satisfaction each time I visit. Go for it, you wont be disappointed.

The service by this mature Asian man is deplorable. No welcome, no smile, few words, no help. He really doesnt belong in customer service!! Passable food, plate without vegetables and the bowl of white rice is charged extra without notifying us. A very disappointing experience, we will never return!

Went for a really good dinner, my partner had a poke bowl and I had a general tao, the chicken was very tender, the price was right for soup, main course, tea, dessert for $19.00. In addition, very good service Ms. Gisèle, very attentive waitress. We will return.

Wednesday December 6, 2023. It has been a while since we visited this restaurant. Following a meeting in Longueuil, we decided on our way to St-Hyacinthe to make a stop there. We were amazed at the dishes eaten (general Thao for my wife and the shrimp pokebol for me) preceded by soup and finished with coffee and dessert. Courteous and attentive service from Ms. Gisèle. The cozy atmosphere of the place (no blaring music (which is often found in many restaurants). We really enjoyed ourselves and had a somewhat exceptional experience that we will certainly repeat in the near future.

Excellent restaurant for the atmosphere, the quality of the dishes and the service. Very nice little covered terrace in summer. The hot and sour and Wonton soups are very good. The vegetable fried rice, general tao and sesame chicken are particularly delicious (tasty and not too sweet). Attentive, efficient, available and courteous staff at all times. We go there regularly and we appreciate the little touches from the staff. Good value for money. This is one of the best Asian cuisine restaurants I have ever been to. We recommend it without hesitation! Let s encourage them!

Really very disappointing food not fresh small portion!!! first and last time ordering

This is my first review of a restaurant. I thought it was so necessary that I couldnt believe it! I have never been so disappointed with my order. I ordered general tao chicken with chicken noodles. The general tao was very dry and not spicy at all (despite the spicy choice when ordering). The noodles were so bland and tasted like WATER. And what about wonton soup! No taste and the broth tastes like water too . I will never order from this place again. I ordered General Tao for delivery as well as the chicken and vegetable fried noodles and wonton soup in McMasterville.

I made a delivery with your restaurant for the first time...the portions are tiny!!!! Its very insulting, the dish is half empty...especially for $16 without any accompaniment...I want to encourage it but next time Ill go elsewhere

I recently ordered a peanut chicken with spinach delivery which was delivered without the spinach. Otherwise, just OK food for a price higher than the competition. There are too many great alternatives for you to waste your time. I recommend that you take your turn...

First, before ordering from this place, I read several reviews. Some reviews said that the Won-ton soup tasted like nothing or that General Tao was not good. I think that of all the people I know, I am the person who has tried General Tao the most, whether in the Chinese neighborhood in Montreal, in Brossard or even in the region. I also tried General Tao from several major chains. A few years ago, it was almost a hobby. So I think I can have a very objective opinion on this subject. What I ordered yesterday really exceeded all my expectations. Not to mention that the meal arrived quickly and hot. To my knowledge I have just tasted the BEST general tao in many years. The pieces are well breaded and there is not too much breading. The cuts of meat are made up of real good, tender pieces of brisket. The sauce is not too sweet with just the right amount of heat. The only restaurants that rival this one are Restaurant Szechuan on Notre-Dame Ouest or a restaurant called Le général tao in Sherbrooke. As for the Won-ton soup, well yes, it is not excessively salty as you can see in large chain soups but it is more of the delicate type. You can add soy sauce if thats what youre missing. I wish this restaurant a long life!

Overall ce nétait pas mauvais, et ça a le bénéfice dêtre une général tao qui tente dêtre un peu original, mais je ne pense pas reprendre ce plat la prochaine fois. Cest un plat hit or miss.

Tout était très bon. Par contre, nous avons pris 2 fois la table dhôte pour 2 (donc 4 personnes) pour environ 140$ avec les taxes et pourboire. Les quantités sont parfaites, mais le prix est exorbitant. Il avait un simple biscuit chinois comme désert du jour... Bref, cest bon, trop cher et pas de désert lors de la livraison même si lon paie pour?

On my last order they forgot the rice with the mappo tofu and to know if your order is ready in real time only if the cashier presses the button. So Im lowering the rating from 4 to 3 stars for a simple okay.

Fidèle depuis plusieurs années..je suis un amateur de general toa.. vous etiez le meilleur de loin mais depuis environ 1 an , vous m avez perdu comme client, jai de la difficulté a finir mon repas le goût du poulet a changé , ce n est plus mangeable avant le poulet etais tendre et blanc..maintenant dure et juste de la panure .malheureusement!

We ordered general tao chicken and there was no rice or vegetables. Its quite a plate, especially at $16!

First time I have ever thrown away asian leftovers in my life. Meat in the sauté was undercooked and tasted of nothing, they basically used water to sautée. The schezuan shrimp wasnt a hit either, they should just call it shrimp and onion. The general Tao was good but its all I ended up eating. Disappointing after a long week. Staff seemed nice though, I feel for them, but you cant let orders like this out the door.

Good Chinese and Thai food

We have been loyal customers for several years last Friday, wanted the special meal for 2 people and asked if possible to change 1 starter of peanut ravioli for crispy chicken ravioli at the same price... the very unpleasant waiter was quick to tell us NO NO NO THATS LIKE THAT THATS ALL...We were very shocked by his attitude and insulted for regular customers like us! Who in 2020 can afford to be so independent and not grateful to their customers... We got up and left without ordering... its a shame but we gave up on this restaurant! Recommendation: work on your customer service, it s deplorable!

The quality was really not there. The fried squid and tempura were good. The main dishes were disgusting. Bland pad thai, with a tasteless and oily sauce, chicken of the poorest quality imaginable. 2 shrimp on the plate, not one more. Absolutely disgusting peanut chicken. The chicken was the same as the pad thai one. Absolutely inedible. Liquid sauce, more like a soup. It all ended up in the trash. For $60, I could have thrown that money in the trash as well. Last time I ate at this place.

A pure delight. I introduce it to others and each time I am won over again. The vegetarian soup is so fragrant with fresh vegetables. Yes fresh. Pieces of fresh tomatoes and other equally fresh vegetables in a broth with exquisite flavors. The service is just perfect. I adore. I adore.

Looking for sushi on a Thursday evening, we opted for this place, believing that the quality was essential, reading the comments.. Unfortunately this was not the case. At first glance, the service was pitiful, a waitress dragging her feet imitating Roz in Monster Inc! The sushi was similarly bland to Rozs smile! Chefs specialty Maki Salmon Tartare was actually tempura packing canned salmon crumbs flavored with lemon aroma. WTF?! In short, to avoid ;)
