I came with my wife and daughters Friday evening. It was nice and quiet atmosphere being around respectable families and having a great time. The husband and wife who owns the restaurant was super nice and friendly towards us. We look forward on coming back there again when we visit Medicine Hat.

I showed up later to a group that was already there, and the waiters were going around and nobody stopped to ask us if we needed or wanted anything.. they sure knew who ordered what and were going around taking payments but nobody asked if we needed anything. I was actually in the mood for eggs Benedict, but after we were just ignored I decided to just leave. Its funny cause if they didnt realize we had just gotten there, youd think they would have asked what we ordered or tried to charge us for something, but they didnt cause they knew we didnt order anything yet. But we were never asked if we wanted anything

We had Rickys 2 nights in a row. Food was hot and steaming. Cook did an amazing job. Young waiter/server in the suite that is sized for a man larger doesnt understand what a starter is. He delivered our start with our mains. Next day we sat in the bar side. We were served by a women and she was very through. Food was just as good as the night before. I would recommend this rickys.

Stopped in at Subway and discovered they were not seating anyone only takeout. So we decided to try Rickys next door. My friend and I split a meal (California Chicken Sandwich) and substituted the normal fries for the Rosemary/Parm Truffle Fries which were excellent with the lemon aioli dip. The Chicken Sandwich was delicious with maple bacon, pepper jack cheese guacamole, lettuce and tomato on a toasted multigrain bun. We also split a sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream which is to die for. We both felt the meal was so flavorful, and really sparked our taste buds. Definitely will go back again. We had heard the food was expensive and they have very pricy coffee. We had plenty of food splitting one order and that way the pricing was reasonable. We did not have coffee....LOL

My Dad and I stopped at Rickys for breakfast, and we were extremely happy that we did! I had a hunch right from the landscaping outside that our experience would be positive. Would a restauraunt pay attention to making their flowers look immaculate and then serve so-so food? I didnt think so...and I guessed right! The food was incredible, our server was fun and friendly. We both had the waffle big breakfast, and would easily recommend it as long as you have a good appetite. It came with three eggs, three pieces of yummy maple bacon, three sausages, half a waffle and stuffed hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were really neat, they were layered shredded potatoes with cheese and onion, and they just had so much flavour! Everything was cooked perfectly, and well always eat here for breakfast again when passing through Medicine Hat.

They need to fix the wifi for wait staff using the handheld debit machines. Other wise really great food and prices and service.

A good place to stop for a quick lunch that offers good food from friendy staff all for a reasonable price, and that is a combination that is hard to find now days....keep up the good work Rickys

Our table of 7 arrived on Saturday night after being turned away from another restaurant that could not accommodate us and was warmly welcomed by the single waitress serving that night. She had a full restaurant of about 30 tables. She set expectations that she would be back for our order in about ten minutes. She had the best attitude and never rushed but swiftly served every table. She refilled our drinks and served us like we were the only table. The food was very good. Our waitress was amazing. We were one of the last tables to leave. She didn t have time to clean up every table and you could tell the restaurant had been full as every table still had glassware. As a former travel agent, I have eating in hundreds of restaurants in cities all over the world. This was by far the best server I have ever seen. Impressed!

Abby was our server very attentive and polite Ive been doing this job for 51 years and counting and trust me you have to love what you do. Only thing is when your older the portions are to big we should have added an egg and shared I wish there was smaller portions. But the food was delicious. Will be back

I just had the best breakfast I have had in 25 to 30 years. The service was great, but the food was exceptional hot until the last piece of fruit, unheard of in the restaurant business ( yes, I mean hot).I had the stuff french toast. Great flavor in the sauce; the peaches were still firm. I also had a side of bacon. The bacon was crispy, hot, and flavorful. And it still looks like bacon. I would like to thank ALL the staff at Ricky s Medicine Hat at Radcliff Drive. Oh, by the way, I have never left a review for any breakfast place.

Honestly the food at this place is amazing. Best Philly cheese steak Ive had! But they are very short staffed. Even though our waitresses for each visit worked hard, the restaurant simply didnt have enough and the waiting times for orders and food were way too long.

Family meal for early-dinner (seated around 4:30pm). Server was very kind, patient, and helpful. Did not get appies or dessert. Everyone was satisfied and happy with their meal. Large portions. I was extremely happy about my Wiener Schnitzel (limited/seasonal menu). Dietary restrictions: Theyre very accommodating with dietary restrictions, and forth-coming about the dishes that the kitchen cannot change. Parking: A lot of parking behind the building. Kid-friendliness: They have booster seats for little ones.

1st time at Rickys. Found the restaurant clean and fresh. Staff were very friendly and personable. Seated and server was right at the table. Orders were taken and beverages arrived quickly. Breakfast was great. Food was tasty and hot.

Food was OK, the service was excellent. Ive been going to this restaurant since 94 when it was Phils and then ABC Country Restaurant.

My Complements To the Chef I dont normally go out of my way to right reviews but this must be done. So I visited the restaurant on March 17th 2021 and just sitting down to lunch nothing fancy as most food is very boring and bland to me due to growing up with a mother who was a 5 star chef. I ordered a clubhouse with a soup of the day. Well expecting the same old boring canned soup I get from every other restaurant. Not so at this place one taste and my pallet woke up like it just got hit by lighting! Turkey Rice sounds boring but it was not, my taste buds came to life as the flavor and spices rolled across them I was speechless I had to take another spoon and it was even better than the first. The soup was so excellent that I only ate half my clubhouse because I wanted the room for a second bowl. I also bought a gallon of the soup to take home because I live over 2 hours away from Rickys and wanted to taste this divine soup again. My complements to Nicole the creator the this soup I look forward to visiting there again and trying some of your other creations Im very sure they will not disappoint. Thank you for restoring my faith that there are still creative cooks out there.

I went in with middle expectations, but found my Tennessee chicken sandwich really great. It was delicious. I really enjoyed it. This is a nice quiet restaurant and my meal was fantastic.

Went for brunch around 10. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and basic 2 egg breakfast. 2 customers got seated 15 min after us and were served 15 min before we decided to leave. Over 1 1/2 hours with a coffee refill for service. I miss ABC!

NOT handicap friendly. Took elderly lady to this restaurant and increadibly hard to manuouver the entrance doors. This community is high percentage of elderly people with mobility and accessibility challenges. Please install a handicapp button on your doors. Thanks.

My 1st time here. Destiny our server was great very friendly and seemed to be on her toes whenever we needed something. I ordered the Greek wrap and a salad. It was good. Everything inside tho seemed to be clumped together. I think it would have been better if they had tossed the ingredients together in a bowl before putting it in the flat bread. Every time I took a bite it was just a clump of chicken or a clump of feta etc. On another note tho seasoning of your own ( salt n pepper) is not needed. Flavors were excellent!

First off our waitress Destiny was Fantastic. 10/10 for her. I had the Alfredo. - the sauce was a little bland - the chorizo was burnt - the chicken didnt taste or look fresh Service was on point and I didnt have to wait long.

Had great mac & cheese. Main came with Ceasar salad and garlic loaf. Everything was so good. I probably over stuffed myself.... Tried some of the tomato basil soup, it was really thick and tasted more like a pizza sauce...

This was the first restaurant that we went out for breakfast after the COVID-19 lockdown. The staff made us feel very safe. I had the breakfast special that included eggs, ham, hash browns and rye toast. It definitely hit the spot. We had plenty of food splitting one order and that way the pricing was reasonable.
