We were in town for a short time this past weekend and couldn’t find a better spot to eat. The food here set the standard so high that we found it very hard to enjoy a meal at other restaurants that we tried. Loved every bite! Came back for a second visit before we left town! Happy staff too which usually reflects great ownership / leadership. We for sure are coming back!
Travelling through we chose this place for brunch vs Cora’s, we like to support independent businesses. My partner had the classic breakfast, the bacon was cooked so much it was hardly recognizable as bacon, black and dehydrated. I had the Florentine eggs Benedict on their fresh biscuit. I don’t know what they put in their biscuits but they have a very strange flavour like they added a cup of powdered milk or something to them? Maybe they were gluten free which I didn’t order they were definitely not what I expected. I had a choice of fries, roasted potatoes or salad, I chose the roasted potatoes put they were more like fried short potatoes. Overall we were not impressed with our meals. My chai latte was delicious, his coffee was not. The jam was lovely. We won’t be recommending this place to people. The staff were very friendly
I tried the daily brew light roast and dark roast which were very good. The light roast is citrusy/nutty and the dark is smokey/dark chocolately. Lost of seating inside and out. The inside has more of a feminine playful decor with artwork that matches the vibe. There are purchasable things like mugs, jewlery, shirts, art, stickers. You can also purchase bags of their coffee with many varieties to choose from with very reasonable pricing.
Can’t say anything bad about this location, from the location, and the environment. Was looking for a place to have a full breakfast mid-week around Medicine Hat down town area. After calling a few spots and unable to find breakfast served during the week, decided to try this spot. Very pleasant staff, fair pricing and delicious food. Eggs Benedict was some of the best sauce I’ve had, and the sausage was good. Hashbrowns amazing. Little gem, glad I stopped by, will be back. (Coffee was good, and strength good w/ the light brew)
Tried this cafe for the first time. Beautiful, and quiet atmosphere, even when full. I ordered a chickpea salad, with like cilantro (and tahini dressing - which was missing). The salad was really good nonetheless. When it was time to pay,I mentioned the salad was great, but asked about the tahini dressing. The waitress said that was her favourite part of the salad. I mentioned it was missing and I was disheartened that instead of an apology, I was argued with and told it was on the salad (photo included). I had to bring my empty bowl to prove my point. I was disappointed we were not asked once how everything was or checked up on during our visit. This could have resulted in rectifying the missing item. There was some amazing artwork made locally on for sale the walls in the hallway. Also, the building was very cold. Out of a scale from 1 -10 on returning, I would give it a 5 to give it another shot. Update: I have returned to give the cafe another try. Had a wonderful experience with our waitress and our snack and lavender oat latte was incredible, not too sweet and it was warmer in the cafe:)
Coffee here is delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. My breakfast meal was not bad. It was a pretty standard bacon and egg plate. Didn't stand out from something I can make at home. A little bit over priced, but thats the way of it now. I would recommend this place to others based on the coffee!
Love this place! Consistently good food, drink and service. If I had to give one recommendation, it would be to change the lighting to be a bit warmer. This will be a place I keep coming back to. Wonderful to have in our neighborhood.
What a cafe should be. Welcoming, refreshing and great food and drink. The staff are pleasant and competent, the coffee and scones are good. Ive only had the eggs Benedict with English muffins for mains, but the were excellent. Keep up the good work!

Visiting Medicine Hat for the long weekend. Ordered mocha, rooibois lattes, benny and blt. Hash browns were on point. This place is cozy with quality coffee (Monogram beans- my favourite) and a wholesome touch of interiors design. Good food and good atmosphere. I recommend.

My son and I were passing through town on a road trip. Decided to stop at MT Nest Cafe as it seemed like there were healthy food options from the photos. We both had the Glow Bowl. Delicious & great presentation. Other guests were having breakfast items which looked really good as well. The staff were friendly & we really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend!
Super cute cafe and incredible food. The breakfast bowl was to die for. Stopped on the way through to Banff and it was the best meal of the trip. Nice bathrooms, lovely atmosphere, and quick service.
We often go in just for a coffee and muffin, but today we had lunch from the menu, I ordered the Mediterranean cous-cous salad, with the house vinegarette. This was awesome!! The flavor of this salad on a hot day, was perfect. And a thirst quenching strawberry lemonade. All served up with a cheerful smile. There are so many great healthy meals to choose from. We will see you again!!
Such a cute little shop. Affordable prices considering, I had a vanilla chai latte that was probably the best I d ever had. Keep it up!!

I love this cafe. The food is amazing. The staff are so friendly and I love that they sell products from some locals in our community. Especially the sausage shack hot sauce.

We stopped by for a quick lunch based on the proximity and reviews. We selected the tuna sandwich on the suggestion of the friendly staff and ate at one of the outside tables. The sandwich was excellent in taste, texture and fresh ingredients. We will stop by again when we are in the area. Highly recommended.

Fantastic spot, great food, great service!
I have been getting my morning coffee here as the café is easily accessible. One day we came back to pick up more coffee and mentioned that our dogs had just knocked over our first cups. They would not let me pay again, and gave us two coffees and some dog treats. The coffee and service is always great, and the staff are awesome! Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access to the overall building looks good with a ramp accessible to the sidewalk at the front.
Friendly staff service was fast and clean place and great cookies .but no food was being served!

This is my favourite spot for hot chocolate as they are always a 10/10. Earlier this week though, I was gifted with an 11/10 hot chocolate and although I don t know what made it even better, I don t need to know- I am grateful! Thanks.
Excellent eggs Benedict and lattes
Was charged for a more expensive meal than I had ordered.Was charged for 2 cups of brewed coffee but had asked for a refill that was advertised on the menu board for $1.30. Never received my bill until after I paid and only because I had to ask for it. Won t return to this place of business anytime soon.
We would like to see a conventional high chair for the little ones here, the bumbo just does work for larger toddlers.
What a great cafe (coffee, breakfast, lunch, with beer & drink options) for the Hat! Really nice interior with all new equipment. Ive tried the coffee, americano, and lattes and all are excellent. I had 2 different sandwiches now and they were both really good (get the fries!). This is a place to check out and Im really looking forward to when the patio opens again as its big and they have drink options that would be super on the patio. Just wish I lived closer or they were located in the south part of town so I could go more often.
We had lattes and they were soooo good!! The customer service was great and quick as well!

Stopped in to have breakfast this morning - we were pleasantly impressed. We had a latte, a chai with the burrito and croque madame. Super tasty. Was excited to see their coffee they are using is Phil + Sebastian - and their chai was extremely flavourful! Going to have to go back and try some more menu items. Good mix of eats and drinks!

Great new Cafe! Food is absolutely delicious and the owner Michelle is so kind. All of the staff were friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Definitely recommend stopping by for a soup, sandwich and beverage.
I have had two different sandwiches from this Cafe and both of them were phenomenal, it may even be the best sandwich I have ever had. If you are looking for a new sandwich place to visit in Medicine Hat, you have to try here.
The restaurant was so cute, the breakfast was great, & my vanilla latte was the best latte I ever had. The owner was there & she was so kind. Highly recommend!
Great brunch today at Nest. Sausage and potatoes were the highlight. Awesome to have a neighborhood cafe like this within walking distance.

This place is empty because you pay downtown prices for very below average food. $30 breakfast must be delicious. It s very overpriced Trukkers food (at best)

Nice place. Really nice server and food was good. Servings were large. More than we could eat. Wanted to like it more than I did. Could have used a bit more flavour in the food, and the surroundings felt a bit cold and sparse even though I think the intent was cool and hip. Chairs were comfortable. You could stay a while.

We love this place! Looking forward to seeing the outdoor improvements complete. The food was top notch (we had snacks), and the coffees were simply stellar. This is a great addition to the city, and to the neighborhood in particular. Kudos to Michelle & Tony!
My friend and I had lunch there. Both our meals were delicious and nicely presented. Desserts are amazing!
The sandwiches are delicious. Has the Turkey Bacon this time. It had real Turkey! Lots of caramelized onion. Tasted great. Its big enough to share and have room for dessert, too.
Great way to escape the midday heat. Mushroom latte and beet soup were delicious. Just had to pick up a bag of the Doppelganger coffee.
Two visits in one week! Were so happy to have a beautiful coffee, brunch & lunch place in our neighborhood and in town. The service is so friendly and wonderful. Coffee is amazing! Highly recommend checking them out and trying all the things haha

Neat place, good quality of food and great service.
Tried eggs beny, Avocado BLT and chicken Avocado wrap. All items we tried lacked flavor. Service took over an hour to get food. Server never refilled water at our table. Overall disappointed. Was really hoping to like the new restaurant.

I love this place!!! The cutest place and the warmest welcome. I had to come two days in a row when I was visiting and they remembered me and my drink order! It s all the little things together that makes a place perfect and I have to say my visits were perfect. Also, a great place for gifts and to treat yourself to some delicious treats, pottery, jewelry, art, and many other great gift ideas.

MT nest cafe is a personable experience from the very comforting and organic feel to the fresh and absolutely delicious flavours of the food. everything is done with excellence, they are a Gem to have in Medicine Hat. And I couldn t be more happy spending my money on a wonderful meal, at a local business that carried integrity from start to finish.
