Ordered a dinner for 5 tonight from Blue Sky. The food was very good and was ready for pick up at designated time. The owner is very kind and friendly. Will order from here again. Enough food for a second meal for sure.

Huge portions and fast delivery. Unfortunately, it was the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten! Correction, I've ever tasted, then threw in the garbage. The ginger beef ("Where's the Beef") was like nothing I've ever seen before (see pic) and was so hot (spicy) it was impossible to eat. And the almond chicken (see pic) was a box of deep-fried, breaded chicken with a side of roast beef gravy. Had I been in the restaurant, I would have sent it back, and walked out. In response - I ordered ginger beef, so it's either your lack of English language skills (obvious in your reply) or your hearing needs to be checked. As this is YOUR fault, I expect to receive an order of ginger beef delivered free of charge. I hung up on you because you were laughing and your tone was disrespectful. I don't know how to prepare almond chicken; however, I DO know it's not served with beef-flavored gravy.
Visiting from Calgary and ordered in. Quick delivery and the food was better than I have had in years! Would order again in a heartbeat.
Our friend highly recommended this place and so glad they did! We couldn't dine in but we ordered take out for family of 4 and the portions were amazing! Food was delicious and having some for leftovers was just as good. The staff was also very friendly and polite.
Always friendly, always have great food both quality and quantity. If an error is made they are quick to rectify it (though this has only happened once in the many years of going there). Our favourite place for Chinese food. We won’t go anywhere else! Highly highly recommend!
Nov 3/24 - Drove all the way across town to find out this restaurant does not have dine in any more. Guess I have to go to one of the other Chinese food restaurants.

What a delicious food and the girl who attends there is so sweet that he gave my husband 2 spring rolls for free for having his knee replacement the next day. We will for sure return.
What an amazing meal. So fresh only problem ordered a spring roll and it did not come.
What a waste of money! The food here is simply terrible, i dont recommend eating here. This is the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. Save yourself the disappointing experience of ordering food from here. I just cant say enough bad things about the food, just gross If i could give negative stars i would.
Worst Ginger beef and chicken ever. They just pour sweet sauce over it. Meat tastes like a dirty fridge.

Good food, good portions, simple basic decor (tv with Chinese station was appropriate), nice to share a pot of tea with wife, plenty of space and distance.
Some of the food was barely warm and egg rolls very mushy, but other than that it was good.

This restaurant is very dirty/greasy. The table was sticky from never being cleaned properly. It actually needs Spray nine degreaser to clean it. The bathroom from top to bottom was so dirty starting with the door handles, walls, mirror etc. The food was not at all what I was expecting. Almond chicken had gravy on it and no almonds, the ginger beef had no flavour and the rice was dried out or old. It taste like it was cooked in a dirty wok/grill. I wouldn t recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Food is delicious. Generous portions for a very affordable price. Extremely friendly staff and great service. Would highly recommend.

I walked into the restaurant and was greeted by very nice people, the food was excellent and it had lots of flavour. The restaurant was very clean. I would definitely recommend to all.
If I could leave a 0 star I would. The food tasted like nothing and there was maggots in the won ton soup. It has been a few hours now and I definitely have food poisoning. Its rated very highly on skip the dishes and I have no idea why. Do not eat here.

Very full for every dishes. Enjoy eating with reasonable price, but it is value of what you get: quality of food, nice staffs, and fast delivery. Highly recommend and I will definitely come back with my family.

Everything is sooo delicious Every time I come to town I have to order from here. Their shanghai noodles are amazing... sooo tender. Definitely recommend taking home some dinner from Blue Sky.

The curried beef with green pepper should be named curried green pepper with beef, like it was 1/8 beef and the rest is green pepper, carrots and onions.

terrible, terrible. Nothing tasted good at all. No flavor. Old oil. Couldnt eat it and threw it out. Should have returned it.
Portions were satisfying and considering how busy they were, service was prompt.
Ordered takeout and delivery was prompt but food was not that good. Deep fried shrimp was not cooked, sweet and sour pork was tough, and no beef in beef and broccoli dish. I would not recommend this place.

Made to order Chinese food is so much better than getting food from a buffet. I have been 100% satisfied by Blue Sky restaurant every single time Ive ordered from there. I think you should get food here today.
Ordered food from there acouple days ago, the chicken chow mein was dry and full of onions and no chicken, the beef and broccoli had a ratio of 15 pieces brocolli to one beef and the ginger beef was horrible couldnt finish it. Called the place to tell them and they argued with me and told me there was nothing they could do. Worst chinese in medicine hat.
This little restaurant has really good chinese food. The portions are huge. The price are great for what you get. The staff is always friendly.
Disappointed i didnt get rice. Was told Chinese meals dont come with it unless you ask for it. Was never asked if i wanted rice for my delivery order. If it doesnt come with it, you should ask customers if they want it on a phone order.

I was a big fan of this place and considered it to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Medicine Hat. Unfortunately the chicken chow mein in my last order tasted very strongly of mold and I had to throw 2 orders of it in the garbage. I dont think I can order from here again after this experience as it was quite disgusting.

Order out, rice was good, but pieces of the sweet and sour pork tasted rotten and same with the beef with vegetables.

Had take out and was the worse chinese food we have ever had. Threw everything in the garbage except for a little beef and vegetables we managed to eat. Took the garbage out quickly as well because it stank. Never again no stars from me except to post.
I ordered lemon chicken, I couldnt even cut the chicken..it was like rubber peas in the special rice were still frozen... not satisfied

Almond chicken was extremely tough could hardly chew it. Everything tasted greasy. Did not enjoy it at all.
Stopped there for the first time November 22/18. Smelt like cat urine upon walking in. Shouldve left then. I ordered ginger beef and BBQ pork with fried rice. My daughter had chicken strips and fries. Hers was good. Mine was a three out of ten. Like they poured it out of a bag from Costco and added sauce and heat. Her fries looked and tasted like Costco fries. Drive on I do not recommend.

Not sure why the negative reviews because since Mikki and Ron took over the restaurant a year ago its been consistently spot on. Large portions, reasonable prices and friendly staff have me going back weekly.

Sadly the worst food I ve ever had! I haven t ordered from Blue Sky in a long while. Chinese food is a treat here and then! I called to voice to find out it s new ownership! I will assume that is why.! I was told oh so sorry thank you? Honestly Stardust is our other choice... next time it will be from Stardust!

Food was good, however prices from on line is much higher when you pick it up (25% higher) and waited twice as long to get my order. I suggest you try another location if you are looking for good service and proper pricing.
