UPDATE: Visit #3: Back at Fatburger for another round. B insisted on giving the curly fries another shot this time dusted with Cajun spice. The gravy? Classic, in all the right ways. Went for the double fat cheese, but swapping out the cheddar for American cheese? Let s just say it didn t quite hit the same premium note. But those donuts Those donuts Mini cinnamon fair-style delights, crispy on the outside, served with a wild caramel dip. Hands down, the best thing on the menu. Life Hack: They don t exactly advertise it, but Tuesdays are 2-for-1 quarter pounders. Want to eat like a king on a pauper s budget? Now you know. Phantom is throwing down 4.75 stars down out of 5. Visit #2: EDIT: Back at Fatburger, because when you crave a burger, you don t just want a burger you want a FATburger . This time, I went for a smaller double cheese with Swiss. Previously, I had the double king cheese big difference. The fries? Let s just say they ve seen better days. They tasted like overcooked generic oven fries. They were better on our last visit. But here s the thing Curly fries shouldn t be better than skin-on fries, but ours either took a detour or got lost along the way. Still ate em, though. Phantom Gourmet Tip: Ask for fresh fries. For the price, it s the least you deserve. But shoutout to the crew they took our order at 10:40 PM, just 20 minutes before closing, and served it up with a smile. No big deal on the fries it s late. B got the limited edition bacon mushroom cheese melt, and though they were out of blue raspberry shakes, WE WILL BE BACK. First Visit: Fatburger, where have you been all my life? This place is a legend in the making. They care about the whole process, and you can watch them cook your meat right in front of you. The burger? Easily in my top 3. I went with the double king with Swiss cheese BOOM. How do they make a burger this good? Fatburger isn t cheap, but quality never is. Don t whine about the price when you re getting food, service, and top-notch quality. If you want cheap, go to BK. Probably not the best first-date spot (unless you re into messy), but it s a fun place. Bring anyone who appreciates a real burger friends, family, future in-laws, whoever. Pro Tip: Impress that future father-in-law with a stop here. This Fatburger feels a lot like the big licensed ones elsewhere, but without the redundancy of dine-in. The only question is What will it take to get an In-N-Out here? #fatburger rocks. 9/10 With Wayback in town, it s now a close race between them and Fatburger. I might prefer Wayback s patties, but Fatburger s still holding strong, tying for 2nd best in town! Parking: Easy to park. Tons of other businesses around however.

I ve been here a few times and never really had a problem. The previous owners were so nice, a couple years ago I went in and was greeted w smiles and hope to see you soon. Well a couple months ago I put an online pickup order @ this location and decided to wait inside for my order as I arrived sooner than expected. I used the bathroom and sat at a booth. In a matter of minutes a staff member approached me questioning as to why I was sitting and asking if I was planning on ordering anything this interaction was very distasteful and unprofessional. I didnt think I would be visiting an establishment and have to explain what I was doing there after walking thru their doors especially after paying $40 for a burger. I wont be back.

Unbelievable service!!! So extremely kind and generous. I made a mistake ordering the wrong kids meal for my son and the gentleman at the til refused to let me pay for a new one and made him the meal for free. You don t see that at a restaurant let alone at fast food. Pretty amazing.

This place is absolutely amazing, the food is delicious and the service is by far the best customer service I have had at a fast food place.

Today my family and I visited Fatburger, and it was by far the best service we have seen anywhere here in Medicine Hat. All three of the gentlemen working were kind, friendly, and attentive. Arpit especially went above and beyond with his service by coming over and checking on us multiple times, and introducing himself to us so if we had any concerns, not to hesitate. 12/10 would recommend not only based on their customer service alone, but the food was delicious and HUGE portions!

On the morning of April 10, 2024, the team at Fatburger provided exceptional service. Despite being given short notice, they efficiently fulfilled a sizable order shortly after opening. Their professionalism, kindness, and culinary expertise were greatly appreciated. I wholeheartedly recommend this company for catering services and look forward to utilizing their services again in the future. My sincerest gratitude for the outstanding job they did for us.

We always try to find unique places. My wife brought me here. All what I heard was it was expensive. I have never complained about quality. Man that burger was so so good, fries and service were pretty amazing too. I found value in this establishment, amazing food, great service should not be lumped with other fast food, this is truly a great meal

Greatest burger in town!!

I ordered a 16 piece wing meal. Half and half. Hot and ranch hot . Not hot and ZERO difference between the two. Oh yes, the celery and carrot slices were planted underneath the wing order. Thus giving them a soggy texture. Top shelf.

Decided to go here for a quick lunch expecting it to be similar to five-guys, shake shack, or some other generic high quality burger joint . I was disappointed. The cost of a burger, fries, and coffee was 19$. The bun was no better than the cheapest sesame bun at superstore, the patty was nothing special, the tomato s had the same consistency as they do at subway (that thawed mush feeling) and they used shredded lettuce instead of a nice peeling off a head of romaine (personal preference). Extra points for using what tasted to be real cheese and adding a healthy dosage of mustard and ketchup (again, preference). For someone thinking bout coming here, think about if you re willing to wait 15 minutes for a burger that doesn t rival even Wendy s or Dairy Queen in terms of taste, value, or quality. Two stars from me, coffee wasn t bad.

Well it was on my To Try list and now moved to the never again list! The fries were flavorless, the onion rings were burnt, soggy and saturated in grease. Obviously cooked in poorly heated oil. And the burger sauce, what the he** is that supposed to be. It is the more unusual of flavors and not really a good flavor, not that there was much flavor to the burger to begin with. Overall not impressed especially with a $43.00 bill for 2 burgers combos!

The food here is good, but the service is very, very slow. It seemed like orders were only being made one at a time and there were many Skip the dishes orders going out as we were waiting a ridiculous amount of time for our food. The lady at the till could not be heard over the general noise of the restaraunt and wasnt happy with us when we had a hard time understanding her. This is not the first time the food and service has been slow.

Very generous portion sizes and great burgers with very attentive staff

Took my wife there for lunch today. First and last time at a fat burger. She ordered chilli poutine and boneless wings. She didn t even eat half of it. Bland, was her exact word. I had the cheddar bacon burger with regular poutine. Same experience, bland. All you could taste in the burger was the relish and mustard. One of the worst burgers I have had. The poutine which is fairly simple one would think, ha the gravy had no taste and wasn t even hot enough to melt the big cold chunks of cheese. And yes I did say cold cheese. Was not impressed. I didn t finish my meal and left there disappointed and stomach a little queasy. And it was expensive. From our experience I would definitely NOT recommend this chain.

I had the Cajun chicken burger for my first time visiting. Wow. What a great burger. It was massive. And so delicious. I also got 6 chicken wings and they were also tasty and cooked perfectly. Very pleased with everything and will be back soon!

Honestly the worse food..... burger was dry so was the bread, frys were under cooked... for both our meals. And we payed 80 for 2 burgers reg frys and chili frys 2 milk shakes and a can of pop. Wow Will not be back. Only thing they made okay was the shakes....

I had a poutine and a bacon cheese burger. The poutiine was way too salty and the gravy was horrible it tasted like it had been cooking for days. The hamburger will lets just say a .99 cent cheese burger at McDonalds tasted better. On the bright side the staff was good. The restaurant was very clean.

These were the worst burgers we have ever had, they were greasy sloppy and terribly salty, the buns were so saturated with grease they just fell apart and cost us 50 bucks for 2 burgers what a waste.....

Usually have a good experience here except the last time..a few nights ago I had ordered a double fat cheese meal, and some wings and when I got to the store, to my surprise the employee cooking my burger had no hair net or gloves on.. which I kinds questioned but never said anything but after I got home and my wife bit into her burger and pulled a long hair out of her mouth .. I was disgusted, not impressed. And Ive tried emailing them

Everything about this place is amazing! My grandkids love, love, love their chicken strips. Omg the amount they got fed them for 2 days. I had a burger wrap, was so awesome. Piled high with mushrooms! My friend had the exlarge burger. My goodness it was huge. All the food was fresh! Love this place!

Best deep fried pickles

I had the southern fried chicken sandwich and it was very good. Chicken was well seasoned and had the right amount of crunch. I would go as far as saying its better then the Popeyes chicken sandwich. Also had the fries. Which were steak cut , hot and skin on. With an extra handful in the bag. They were good as well

Our boss treated us to a late dinner here last night and we all left very satisfied and full! I ordered their ultimate BBQ burger with swiss cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce plus had it loaded with extras. Wow, it had such a variety of fresh tastes that I almost forgot there was a burger in there and what a thick and fantastic tasting burger it was! Additionally (as if by accident, maybe) we found there were plenty of extra fries in the bottom of our takeout bag - enough to fill at least two of their fry cups. Finally, the service we got by the staff was super helpful and friendly. My coworkers also had high praise for their burgers that they ordered too. One of them ordered a Californian burger...which will probably be on my must-try list the next time I return!

Terrible service they had advertised all day breakfast on posters and when I went in at 5 they said they only serve until 4 However I showed them the poster of it saying all day and they said sorry youre out of luck very rude staff at the time

Great burgers and the best milkshakes Ive ever had! This is our go-to place for take-out when in town visiting family. Weve never been disappointed here. I even royally screwed up an online order the last time (completely my fault) and the manager Robin made everything right, I couldnt thank him enough. Very friendly service and excellent food! Highly recommend!

First Visit To Fatburger Medicine Hat: The meat was pre-formed on site from never-frozen beef mince. It was delicious. The burger dressings (lettuce, tomato, onion) were fresh cut as well. I had the 1/3 Pound Burger. It was very good. I recommend this location.

Been here a couple of times now for the Vegan Beyond Burger. Not once have they got the order correct. And for the quality compared to other brands, I find it to be quite expensive in comparison.

Great Fatburger experience! The food was hot, fresh, and made precisely to order. Staff was accommodating to our every need. Restaurant was very clean. Washrooms were immaculate. My wife had the Hawaiian cheeseburger, and I had the Kingburger Supreme. They were delicious. We also got the sweet potato fries, and they don t skimp on the portions! It seems like Fatburger Medicine Hat is a hidden gem here. So good!

Service was okay. The 1/3 lb burger was bland - the only part that had any flavor was the cheese. The onion rings were tasteless - lacked salt - and seemed slightly undercooked. The boneless honey garlic wings tasted a bit off/sour. The shake was okay. Price was maybe a bit high, but not crazy. I will likely give them a second chance, if just to try some of their other, many menu items.

Today we tried a bacon cheeseburger, some chicken tenders, and fries. The fries were excellent with just the right amount of salt. The burger was so tasty and the chicken tenders were tender and juicy and very flavourful!!! Staff were pleasant and the dining area clean

FYI! You should rename your curly fries to curved fries aint nothing curly bout em! And ur gravy tastes like dish soap
