My husband and I ordered Tsuki tonight for dinner. Weve had sushi from here before and always been pretty good but tonight it really missed the ball. We ordered through Skip and have before in the past with no issues but tonight was way different. Prices are higher but thats every where right now. But for the price we paid, the portions were so small. The miso soup leaked in the bag, looked like the lid did not fit the container as both containers were warped. And the sushi was packed so tightly in one container and the salmon of the one roll stuck to the inside of the lid when we removed the lid from the container. Miso soup was hella salty, sushi was bland and tempura in the sushi was stale. Definitely a miss tonight and wont be ordering from here for a long time; especially when youre a restaurant that specializes in Japanese cuisine, you gotta do better.

This is an awesome little Japanese spot, with excellent food, great staff, and nice calming music. I love the Yakisoba, thin noodles, with chicken and Wasabi.

Feels bad to write this, but felt worse to eat here to be honest. Food was really bland - no clue why they dont season the sushi rice. It feels and tastes like they just use normal cooked white rice to make their sushi. Ramen was bland as well - unfortunately this is not the best sushi place in town. I think Edo makes better rolls than here which is really sad to say.

Came in last week for a quick bite had yellow fin tuna and salmon people were awesome and so friendly big pieces just as good or better then places in calgary and I lived there for 14 years glad I went and you guys will to cant wait to come back thanks guys mad my day

Go to place for us when it comes to sushi, as it offers gluten-free selections for my spouse as well as a fantastic Ramen customizable noodle bowl. They are happy to alter dishes to suit your taste or diet restrictions.. Highly recommended! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available, Kid-friendliness: Families dine with children there all the time.

Quiet for lunch on a Wednesday. Food was fresh and tasted amazing. I had a spicy tuna with avocado roll and a dynamite roll.

Cannot say enough good things about this place, stopped for some takeout on our stay in Medicine Hat and the food did not disappoint, they were super friendly inside and we will definitely be making the 5 hour trip back again soon just for the food!!

The food was soooooo good. My family had the salmon donburi, tonkatsu ramen, tuna sashimi and takoyaki. Everything was spot on and fulfilled our cravings for a good Japanese meal. Fair pricing, clean restaurant, good vibes and good service. Will come again for sure.

Hands down best place to eat out in the Hat. Nice hole in the wall style place - awesome owners and super friendly. Yum.

Staff here are exceptional. The owners are very professional and continue to keep a great establishment(Ive continued to go here since 2017). This is my favorite restaurant at the Hat!! The people are always very friendly and accommodating and the sushi is knock your socks off good!!

Delicious! Highly recommend! We had sushi, sashimi, gyoza, and edamame. Everyone gobbled it up! Service was amazing. Very attentive, and quick to follow through. Next time we are in town we will have to come back!

This was my first time having Japanese food in Medicine Hat and it was great! I was pleasantly surprised to see so many vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. We tried a bunch of different things - veg tempura, maki rolls, karaage etc. and everything was fresh and delicious. We ll definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place, the best Japanese food Ive ever had. Their ramen is amazing and the portion is huge, the chashu pork in the ramen is so good, you can cut through it easily with chopsticks. Will come here a lot in the future

Forget the delicious food, the staff are so lovely and helpful. After a faulty skip-the-dishes order Tsuki staff went out of their way to help make things right.

Great sushi! The rolls were generously sized and fresh. Would have loved to eat in but thats not the restaurants fault. We ate in the car as we are from out of town and they set us up to do that.

We were looking for new go to restaurants in this area and were very satisfied with this place. The ramen is very good as are the meat skewers, but the sushi is the main attraction. I cant eat avocado, which makes sushi hard sometimes, but theres lots here without. The tempura sushi is great, the golden crispy is my new favourite. We will be back soon.

Delicious unagi don. It was clearly fresh (lots of places use frozen). Tender and tasty. And the big surprise: we noticed they had macaroons and grabbed a few on a whim. Wed go back for those alone!

Food is really good, but the service is painfully slow

A very unassuming little restaurant, but once inside, it s comfortable, clean and beautiful. The menu has a huge selection of Japanese and Asian-themed dishes, with clear, vivid photos that make selection easy (yet difficult at the same time)! Service is tremendous, and food is delicious and fast. Overall a great visit. Plenty of free parking. We will definitely be back.

A friend and I went here just to try it out and we were blown away. The quality of the food here was top notch and the price was totally reasonable. The staff were super friendly and everything we ordered tasted great. If youre into sushi and sashimi in the Hat, you gotta check this place out!

Just moved here, first time at Tsuki as it was highly recommended and we were not disappointed. Nice friendly staff and very good food. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic Japanese menu offered.

We got this place for supper tonight on skip the dishes, and it was great! We ordered the sushi combo A, chicken ricebowl (donburi), and assorted tempura. Prices were a little high but the quality is amazing, everything was so fresh! They also gave us extra tempura sauce by request. Very pleased, well order again for our next night in!

Today i get some sushi (30/04/20) and i am very confuse about this place. Today the rice have terrible consistence and taste. The fish was not fresh at all. Receive some sushi i dont ordre and missing some. For 41$ for that sorry is to much........

Fantastic service. Fast and delicious. Just had the Godzilla Roll and it was amazing.

Tried the Volcano and the Firecracker, both soooo good. Tried the Mango Tango too, also good but more like a light and refreshing option for a hot day. One of my favorite places.

The quality of Japanese food here was pretty good. The crab in the sushi seemed weirdly warm. The portions are suuper generous for the Bento Boxes. We barely finished half. Staff is super friendly, decor is cute.

One of the best sushi places in Medicine Hat.

On a recent trip to Medicine Hat, Alberta, we were delighted to find a lovely clean Japanese restaurant. The variety of sushi was good and the meal was tasty. Overall the food was good. I had the teriyaki chicken with noodles with a side of tempura veggies and gyoza. Service was a little slow as it was just one gal looking after all the tables.

Very Authentic Japanese Ramen Bar, had TamTam Ramen last time with a friend of mine, soup is very rich. 5 stars recommend on the Tsuki roll, definitely a wow for every bite. I usually take pictures for delicious rolls like those but I was very starved that day... pictures to be continued

I ordered seafood udon. I dont see much of seafood on my plate. Texture of udon is great though.

THE best sushi in town. Rice, on point. Fish, on point, quality, on point. If youre wanting something local with excellent service and genuinely great sushi, Tsuki answers the call. I dont care for the North American/Canadian rolls (which they do excellently), but their preparation and execution with nigiri does not compare to any other sushi restaurants in town. Less is more. Dont take my word for it. Go there, sit at the front, and order some nigiri ;) PS. You might want to try a bowl of ramen; but, thats another review.

I came here with a friend and ordered the seafood rice bowl (seafood donaki I think was its name) and shared a spicy salmon avocado roll. The staff was very friendly though the donaki took a bit longer than I expected. Still a great experience overall and I will definitely be returning.

This place was good, definitely my favorite sushi in town. If visiting Medicine Hat make Tsuki your #1 destination. Easy entrance and exit, as its built in a commercial area and not a mall or a power center parking lot.

The food here is amazing! One of our favourite places to go. The decor and look of the place is not great, but its clean, and the employees are good!

Tsuki became my fav restaurant in Medicine Hat. Great food and service. Nothing can compare with their sushi. Every roll they make looks good and tastes SUPER! A must visit restaurant.

I would really like to love Tsuki. There are not a lot of options in the city for sushi and I would wager that a lot of people here have not eaten much sushi outside of Medicine Hat. It seems that these two factors have come together to create a truly subpar sushi joint with a very misleading rating. The sushi rice is not seasoned though the employees of the restaurant assured me it is just a less strong seasoning than another sushi restaurant in town. It is the most bland rice I have experienced in over a decade of avid sushi consumption. They informed me that they do not put salt in their rice, thought it is a traditional sushi rice ingredient (see sushi-meshi on wikipedia). The first time I went there I thought the rice maker messed up so I gave it another chance. The second time was no better. Bland rice aside, I also ordered Agadashi Tofu to go and the special sauce it was meant to come with was missing. So I ended up returning my second, and now final, order from Tsuki and although I got my money back for the 2 items I did eat, I received only excuses but no apology.

When ever I am in town, I make sure to drop by for lunch. I think this the only decent place for japanese food fix. The food is not as good as restaurants in big city, but for a small town, its pretty good. Staffs are friendly, price is ok, but I dont care cause my company is paying LOL.

Got here at 8pm on a Monday the food was fresh and tasty had vegetable tempura California rolls crispy mango rolls and squid everything was great.

Possibly the best sushi we had ever eaten in Canada, no word of a lie. Everything was very fresh and tasted amazing! The prices match the quality of the food. We were actually shocked it was this good. The employees/chef were wonderful and kind. I would drive 300 km just to go back here! Do NOT eat elsewhere while in Medicine Hat. Seriously! We ate the Green Dragon roll, the kappa/avocado rolls and the chicken katsu.

The service and the meal are consistently top-notch. I love this restaurant! The staff are most always friendly and attentive, and you can count on fresh ingredients. The more often you go, and they get to know you and your palate, the better it gets.

The last time I was there the miso soup was room temp, and the sunomono noodles were hard and in a clumped ball when given to me. The staff however were friendly and the presentation was quite nice.

Great food and amazing Sushi! Soup broth is a little bland but the amount of goodies in the soup is incomparable to anywhere else in town! Friendly staff and great service to top it off! I highly recommend Tsuki!

The menu has changed since the last time I was there. I think its been at least 5 years, I didnt want to go back. Im glad I did. The food was great, the staff were friendly and always coming around to make sure all was well. Definitely worth going there.

I eat here quite frequently (i would say once a week) and have never had a bad experience! the staff is friendly and makes you feel so welcomed, and the food is to die for. Ive tried every other sushi place in the Hat, and this is by far the best.

My wife and I consider this to be the best sushi joint in town. One of the few places that serves Octopus Sunomuno, they also have a very good Miso Soup. Menu is full of amazing rolls, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a sushi night, especially on Tuesday when they take 10% off the bill.

The tempura here is amazing. The food is fresh, flavourful and excellent value. The atmosphere is laid-back. The service is good and accomodating. You can watch the owner make your order if you wish and he will chat with you as he does. Best Sushi in Medicine Hat and for many, many, many miles around.
