I got food poisoning from their chicken ranch sandwich. The staff was concerned about taking his break than cleaning tables after the rush. Very disappointed
Ordered a rice bowl. It’s barely half full. And I ordered and payed for double chicken. I ordered no lettuce, just spinach. Eleven pieces of spinach . Eleven! Nope , no tip for you! I’ll go to a different location next time.
This place was an absolute mess, there were these four teenagers that came in drunk and needed to feed a family of fifteen. I don’t know how they got the money to afford this dog shot food even from that.
I go to this subway location for lunch quite often. The staff is always friendly and are incredibly fast and efficient, and they know how to make a good subway sandwich. Usually there is quite a line during lunch rush and I am always impressed with how quickly they get through orders both in store and drive thru, while still delivering amazing results and a friendly greeting. This is by far the best subway location I’ve ever been to and would recommend it to anyone.
The best thing I can say about this location is that they are incredibly consistent. Unfortunately, it's consistently bad service and when using the app, consistently not what we ordered. Tonight, I took a couple friends here for dinner - dine-in as we just don't trust the app anymore. The service was so appalling that the two normally bottomless pit friends didn't want me to treat them to chips, cookies or even anything to drink. I think the only reason they were ok with the sandwiches was because they had already been made (by a different worker who hadn't treated us poorly). Unfortunately, one of the friends regretted even the sandwich as the quality/taste of some of his sub toppings was off. It doesn't take an eating disorder for these food service workers to trigger a loss of appetite. So, they are very unsafe for anyone with an eating disorder, especially an anxiety related one, and they could potentially cause a significant setback in recovery and nutrition intake, as they have done to me consistently. (I have been able to eat at other restaurants successfully, so it's not just my eating disorder being too severe, either.) Even with the 'free sub, next visit,' that they keep offering to get me to come back so they can 'make things right' for me, it's not worth going here anymore. They can't make things right if they don't fix the underlying issues that lead to such consistent problems. Another bad experience doesn't make anything right.
Call me old fashioned but I remember when the meat used to go from one end to the other. It still tasted the same, but with less meat.
UPDATE-EDIT: Most recent trip. I got the Subway BBQ brisket - it is their most expensive item on the menu. It is genuine steak, not beef sliced off a chub and goes great with its BBQ sauce. All done, it is incredible- Subway could give out a bit more meat in their current flagship sub. A solid 8/10. It’s loaded with cheddar cheese and all the other fixings you so desire… We both got two of their flagship upper tier subs and it literally cost double what 2 of their economical subs like cold cut combo or whatever. But all in all the young men who work at Redcliff Dr location are very good at what they do. Food quality is very worth it, prices are getting high like everywhere else, but do you want a sub or not? ———————————- This was my best experience in any Subway ever! After having a rather complex order, I was immediately helped by buddy, I did not grab his name, unfortunately. Firstly, so no mistakes were made, we went to the till to see if the subs would qualify for this 3-sub deal they had on, and more… Just to be clear, dude who helped me spoke English very well and clearly. At Subway, good communication (on both sides) is vital… Subway introduced their ‘Suprimo’ subs, which had 3-4 kinds of meats on them, and they look great. B loved the Surprimo, including the standout capicolla on it. Along with Genoa salami, ham, pepperoni. And double cheese etc. The 4 (huge) subs I got were made conveniently fast, but carefully. This is a busy location, but the team members there are on the ball. Very good experience this time around… See you guys at this location (Redcliff Dr) again soon!

Vegetarian options: I ordered an veggie patty subway with add ons of mashed avacado but there was no avacado in it . And even no note in the delivery package saying anything about that Food : 3/5

Hands down best Subway Ive ever been too, I worked at subway for 2 years and have always been a fan but this place is 1000% it and the staff in there get a 10/10 in my books!

The Subways in Medicine Hat have declined in my opnion. It isnt the same atmosphere anymore and they have a get you in and out as fast as possible attitude. It doesnt help that the prices have gone up and the portions have gone down either. Never thought I would spend 16.00 on a foot long sub with no drink in a small Alberta city. I had frequented Subways a lot for lunch and supper but have moved on to other local delis to visit.

A breakfast sandwich was good, but we had to pay 4.50 for the egg addition. On a breakfast sandwich!!! We will not return. We have NEVER come across this before

I sent my gf in with a list due to me being sick, she came back out to the truck and said you might wanna check those subs, so I did and found out that extra lettuce doesnt coexist. Being upset and paid money for something that should have been done right the first time I stormed in the store in my pjs and demanded for my extra lettuce.
The staff are great. Help you to remember extras and never rush you. The subs are always full yet tidy.

My favorite subway, drive through can be a little disfunctional but if you know what youre getting should be no problem! Update; The staff were so kind and polite on our visit around 1730hrs on May 18, 2022. Hope they get something special with their tips.
Food tasted good, but there was half a dozen people clearly affiliated with the store parked outside with blaring music, on a Sunday. It looked like there was some party going on. Not something youd expect from a public family establishment. It was awkward and kind of intimidating. Nothing wrong with playing music but theres a time and place for cranking it right up with all the vehicle doors open. Especially someone who is either working for, owner or even just friends of someone affiliated with the store. Left a bad taste.

This subway is very rough looking. Weeds everywhere and taller than a child. It looks uncared for. The service is terrible. I ordered a soup and it was cold. The often don t have items on the menu. very disappointed in this Subway..

Went for a sub and meat smelled rotten..New staff...Old staff member told me new owners fired everyone, make staff use old expired food. Looks like Im done supporting subway in this city. Support other local business owners- stay away at all cost.

A good subway, good pop, sandwiches made well, cookies are good, its a subway, by now subway is pretty self-explanitory. Uh...what else to say? sweet onion chicken and chicken bacon ranch costs the same, but you get bacon and real-er chicken on the CBR, thats my subway tip.

So there was nothing wrong with my sandwhich, however this location gives you the regular amount of cheese when you order double cheese, when at every other subway in town its a fair amount worth paying for. I dont like it when theres a difference between locations, things are supposed to be consistent all across the board! The service was also somewhat slow, I had to ring the bell a bunch of times.

I love subway sandwiches! Most everywhere I go I end up happy and this location is usually no different. If you order in person there is no problem. 5/5 I have had several app orders though that have either just been off or seemed to be the wrong order entirely. As a result I tend to send my app orders elsewhere if Im out and pickup on the way home. Dont use the app with this location yet.
I stop in and saw that they had a awesome deal on two sandwich for only $5 well I bought four for $10 and brought a friend back with me the very next day looking for the same delicious lunch I had had the day before it was well worth every cent . $$$$ dont take my word come see for yourselves

My sub is always flat, dont follow instructions..barely anything In my sub...just down right lazy people working at this location...I love subway alot but I will not be going to this location or ordering it off of skip the dishes...ask for toasted and it is NEVER toasted

Worst Subway I have ever been too in my life. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The first time I went there was about 1 hour before closing and both of the orders I requested was rejected as they stated that they did not have ingredents (meatballs, maranara, and chedder cheese). I have previously worked in this type of retail buisness so that usally means everything is packed up and your too lazy to unpackage it. The second time I was there I went around half an hour till closing (8:30, Monday September 28th). I pulled up and there was a cat sitting by the front door eating chicken that the staff had provided to it. I went in with a friend and the staff were cold, unwelcoming, had everything already packeged up. I had tried to order a meatball sub and told us that they were out with no remorse. We left as we felt like we an inconvinience to them. We went to a different subway in Medicine Hat and they had everything stocked, were friendly and welcoming and ready for customer service. Never have I been so disapointed with a buisness and thought they would never have everything packaged up for the night 1 hour before they are advertized to close. I have never felt the need to write a review before coming to this buisness. The staff were so lazy and made it an inconvinece to sereve you. Never come to this Subway... absolutely horrible.

I havent had take out in a while. Like, months. In a whirlwind of rushed confusion, I went to the Subway drive-thru. I think theres a reason why you dont see too many Subway drive-thrus. Too many options to negotiate without seeing your product and real-time visualization is preferred when you have to build-your-own-sandwich. Perhaps I have been inured to be a socially interactive fellow when I Subway, and find the Subway drive-thru option enticing as a concept but not a satisfaction as an actual participant.

Absolutely horrific service pre-ordered with an app still took a half an hour to do the sandwich took three people to do the sandwich after one of the employees came in from the out side in the parking lot after he sat there and was reving his truck having coffee... lady before me got outside and was super frustrated telling a friend about how annoying it was..... Subway is a main staple in my diet. Their service is always speedy, and always friendly. They always make my sub exactly the way I like it. They are reliable. Great quality food. You get your moneys worth.
I order 3 different subs, one being a Turkey and black forest ham. I find out after it was prepared that they no longer offer that and just do the Turkey. They then up charged $3.00 for the harm on a 12 sub. So a sub that I thought was going to cost $9.00 was almost $12.00. Wont be ordering that again. Not happy. Other than that the food preparation was good.
