Visited as a stop on a road trip. Staff was incredibly kind and attentive, place was beautiful and let us have our dog on the patio. They even brought him water and the food was 10/10 the chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked and the ranch tasted house made. The pizza had the beeest crust and flavor. Would visit again. Thanks guys!

Beef short ribs were delicious, but the instant mashed potatoes ruined the meal.

The food was excellent, better than Abilenes C&P, but maybe not quite as good as san angelo. Pretty close. The service was a bit sporadic, just a busy night. The biggest downside was the atmosphere. I was not expecting the subdued quiet of truly fine dining - but I could have had a better dinner conversation at a sports bar. Loud and obnoxious.

Pizza was good, but it seemed like everything was slightly burnt.

Get the ribeye. If you are fan of Broccoli, be sure to ask them about availability. They serve a great Broccoli side, when available. Parking: Parking is limited, first come, first serve basis. Parking is combined with other vendors in the location. Nothing dedicated for the most part or dedication not observed. GREAT FOOD. WORTHY of a visit. Its a little pricey but worth it for the most part. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly and respectful.

Food is good, can t knock off points for that. But over the last year they have raised their prices by a lot and that s a real turn off since there s nothing that I can tell is worth the upcharge. The cheapest item that s not a side, starter, or drink is a Caesar salad with no chicken for $13!!! EDIT: I wish I could do something about this but the menu clearly states that if you buy something from the wood grilled and entrees section, you get to CHOOSE your own side but our waitress was adamant that the sides are already pre-chosen. Really annoying from such a not up-scale restaurant.

I am 67 years old. Been to many places around the world. And I say I would not recommend the food.

Went tonight for date nite, the restaurants was 80% empty at 530 pm. Wed were told that we couldnt eat indoors because all the tables were researved at 700pm. So we were seated outside 90+ degrees luckily there was shade. I had beef short ribs, The rib was dry and lacked seasoning, the veggies were under cooked,and the mashed potatoes were completely covered by the red wine reduction sauce like a gravy that tasted burnt. The appetizer deviled eggs were not a good as they were in San Angelo restaurant. The egg mixture was chunky instead of smooth I gave 2 stars mostly because our server Paige was a breath of fresh air. She did a wonderful job keeping us happy.

I called a week or so ahead for a party and asked how far ahead should I ask to save a table. The young man said two hours so I though hm I guess they dont get very busy so I wasnt worried about getting a reservation. I called 24 hours ahead and they said the round table was reserved by someone else. So I said ok and reserved a different table for ten people. The lady said she had to get it approved by her manager. We arrived at the appointed time, no reservation was there for me. Waited about 25 minutes to get a table -not too bad. Got drinks and appetizers and the waiter was sweet. She asked if we were waiting on anyone and we said we think we had 2 more coming. Then she left us completely alone for about 15 more minutes. Everyone had long finished their appetizers and she didnt check in with us, didnt ask if we wanted to keep waiting for the others who didnt show up. We were getting nervous our order hadnt been taken. I flagged her down and asked if she was going to take our order she said if youre ready no apology. Food was good and server did well taking dishes and bringing out the cake. I think communication was lacking with hosts and not creating our reservation and then her not asking if we wanted to go ahead and order. Felt neglected and stuck there with no food. Kinda loud, hard to converse.

Everything was prompt, delicious, and the server was amazing, however, the atmosphere left a bit wanting due to the volume of the music. Hard to have a conversation with the volume level, plus, everything on the menu was a bit pricey Dietary restrictions: I can only speak for the dish i had which was the Pizza which had a thin crust, avocado slices, large roasted tomato wedges, fresh Basil, and white chicken (all which you could easily take off if you wanted). Pizza was also not heavily spiced or overly seasoned with garlic or anything else, and had literally just the right amount of white cheese so as not too heavy or greasy

Went in tonight 07/15/24 to get a table. Was told it would be a 45min wait. I said ok and then the hostess walked away from me. I called her back and asked if she was going to take my information down to put me on the waiting list. She said oh yeah and then took my information down. After about 45 mins I walked back in to see how much longer it would be and ask why I never received a text. That s when I found out that she put my name and number down incorrectly. She then took my information down correctly and said I would have a table within 10 mins. They are now closed and I still haven t heard from them. Turned out better anyway. Went next door to Cowboy Prime and was seated immediately. Better restaurant, better atmosphere, better service. Won t be back to cork and pig as long as they have the same blonde girl as a hostess. She is not good at her job. Zero customer service and cannot enter information into their tablet correctly.

Almost every time I visit Midland, I make it a point to eat here. Everything Ive ever ordered, has always been really good. This time I had the Beef Short Ribs. The Pecan Crusted Trout is excellent as well. You can also keep it casual and get one of their pizzas.

The secret cornbread is awesome. Just be sure to give extra time as it takes a while for it to cook. The pizza is pretty solid and the patio is a great place to hang out.

Food was great, and enjoyed the atmosphere, however the service was horrible. Our waitress never came around, we had to rely on other servers that seemed to be bothered when we asked for assistance. When asked for a box and ticket, waitress never returned, had to go look for her. She returned placed the box and ticket on table, didn t bother to apologize or thank us for dining there. Great place for a quick business meal or a nice quiet dinner with your spouse. It ticks both boxes. Consistent and fresh.

Deviled egg appetizer was good. Had the blackened steak special, nothing to write home about. It was decent, looked pretty but a little chewy, and definitely not worth 48$. I expected a little more from a steak in Texas. The sever Bianca was the best part, very attentive, glass stayed full. Could definitely use some sound deadening material on the walls, you can barely hear yourself think. Would not recommend for anyone with sensory issues. Overall not bad, but over priced.

We had lunch there. The ambiance is nice, though way too loud. Food just ok. Coleslaw uneatable with very spicy dressing. Service really poor.

Review Just wanted to share an incident that happened today & let everyone know about cork & pig Yes ! Cork & pig in midland We go to cork & pig regularly! I called this morning to change the reservation I had for 1:00pm ( had it at 12:30pm) The hostess kept saying I didn t have it and it was for tomorrow giving me attitude after I had told her multiple times it was for today! I got an email and everything . She kept on saying I didn t so fine I just told her I would walk in . Got to restaurant and walked in showed her the email and told her I guess I just need to get on the list . She added me and didn t know what to say on my reservation when I showed her the email. Anyways got on the list & went back to vehicle. We kept on seeing people come out and we were still waiting (40+ mins) I finally decided to call and the so called manager answered . I inquired about the table and he said oh we can sit you right now ( hadn t received text table was ready or anything) I said okay thanks , walked in only to see MULTIPLE TABLES/BOTHS EMPTY ! We proceeded to sit . I asked for a manager and to my surprise that bald egg shaped dude came to the table) my husband proceeded to tell him what had happened , he cut him off and proceeded to tell us to leave & that I could contact the general manager NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WONT BE SUPPORTING CORK & PIG or any restaurant related to cork & pig. Spending our hard earned money in other restaurants. thats how yall get paid ! Because customers go ! & yall decide to act STUPID!

Way overpriced for such simple food. Service was not what it should have been. Food was all show and no taste. I ordered the chops plate with an extra side of coleslaw. The coleslaw was garbage. It was like store bought coleslaw but they just added some gas station peanuts on top of it. My porkchops were barely edible. Only thing that made them tolerable was the cinnamon butter the put on it. Best part of my plate was the loaded mashed potatoes. And my friend who ate with me said his food was tasteless as well. We had been looking forward to going to that place for close to a month. Got there around 10:30 and had to wait over 30 minutes to get a seat. It definitely was not worth the wait.

Refined and casual. Great place to eat laid back classics or get upscale type entree. The atmosphere was welcoming with tones of modern aesthetics. Definitely plan to return on my next visit to midland .

Ive been meaning to add this review for a few weeks. The atmosphere is great! Our server did an excellent job (Adriene, I think) - her service was amazing. They were really busy and we didnt have a reservation. Even so, we got our food quickly. We had the pig pizza (highly, highly reccommend it.) I also had a whiskey drink (the Texan) which was amazing. It kind of reminded me of an old fashioned but smokey and sweet. One thing to note, Ive had pizza and hundreds of places all across the country. This place is easily in the top 3 places for pizza that Ive ever eaten. I highly recommend this place. Also, make a reservation lol

Surprisingly delicious food, great (diverse) menu, and fair prices. My swordfish steak was cooked to perfection (which can be tricky in most restaurants). The tres leches cake was a hit. I would absolutely eat at this restaurant again!

Would not recommend this restaurant as Uber Eats Delivery. the Pizza and sides literally arrived cold. Not warm, cold. I am assuming they mean this to be a take and bake type food service but don t state that online. anyway nasty cold food for $100.

This is a wonderful restaurant. Here several times. Been to brunch a few times and dinners. Tonight we came for just drinks and dessert. Theyre tres leches cake was delicious. Have not been disappointed anytime I visited here. Love the service The food has been outstanding. And Ive been fortunate enough that Ive never had to come and wait a long time for a table.

Apparently my pallet isnt refined enough to appreciate the subtle flavors of an elite establishment with the noble name of Cork & Pig. The fire brick chicken had less flavor and appeal than a roast chicken from the check-out aisle of WalMart. The side of mashed potatoes was about two tablespoons worth of food dumped unceremoniously under the chicken. So I left unsatisfied in taste or portion size. I wouldnt pay $5 for this meal, muchless the $20 menu price. Save your money and go to Texas Roadhouse.

First time going to this Establishment and It was great . Dominic our (server) gave my husband and I some great suggestions. Steak wasnt as tender as we would have liked but very flavorful and atmosphere was great. Mqost importantly Dominic was amazing always made sure our drinks were full. We will definitely be going back and hopefully sitting in his area.

I had a tasty draft (Community Honey Citrus Blonde) and a delicious pizza - the Pig Pizza. But on a great crust, this pizza is worth getting again. Brick oven fired for a perfect crust, crumbled Italian sausage, flavorful fennel and Italian spices, slightly salty bacon - all orchestrated for a great dining pleasure. Be sure to get a side of hot (temperature) marinara sauce for dipping. Also, the pizza stays crispy since it doesnt sit directly on the serving tray but a cooling rack - no moisture or soggy spots to be found!

I m super picky, but I loved our meal here. The waiter was knowledgeable and did a good job making recommendations. I look forward to going again. I have two complaints, the fries are super skinny, almost like sticks or hash browns lol and the drinks are a little over priced, it was mostly ice and they were out of whatever they usually used in the drink so we had to pay an extra $4 for a different brand $17 for one drink. Yikes!

I am in from out of town but visit family in Midland often and have been here 3 times now - I m always impressed! This last time our table got the fire roasted chicken, pecan trout, Texas burger, and ribs. Everything was incredible. The sauce on the chicken was phenomenal. Nikita was our server and she was so sweet, personable, and knowledgeable! Can t wait to visit again.

Unprofessional and unorganized. Called during the week of May 9 and arranged for a happy hour for 20 people to take place on Monday, May 22. Was told today, May 19 that the restaurant is closed on Monday and won t be able to accommodate my party. I was told that I spoke to a new employee who didn t know they were closed. The website and google hours show that this location is open on Mondays. I m not sure what to believe and now I have to scramble around and find a new location at that last minute.

So when you have a patron who is allergic to dairy and you take both sides off their plate because they can t eat it, but then charge me extra for the side I can eat.. like are you kidding me! I was literally served meat just meat last night on my plate because I was told the mashed potatoes and vegetables had butter so I couldn t eat them. I knew about the mashed potatoes but my plate coming out with just meat was not something I was expecting. Then my coleslaw side took another five minutes to come out and you charge me extra for it. Charged me for a full plate of food but just got one of the three items on my plate. Please explain how that is acceptable?? Was told no substitutes period even if I am allergic to say left a sour taste and a feeling of being overcharged for food I wasn t given is very upsetting. Dietary restrictions: No substitutions are allowed even if you re allergic to the options they are giving you. Then they charge you more for the side you are able to eat. Charged me for a full plate of food and only got meat then payed extra for the coleslaw that didn t come out with my meal. Very unacceptable.

It was a busy Monday Evening. Staff was great, just food came out a little slow and we still didn t get one appetizer even though we asked twice for it. We were not charged for it. Parking: Parking area serves numerous businesses and I had to park a distance away and walk. Didn t mind the walk.

We decided to go out for dinner on a Monday right after 5pm. Im glad we showed up when we did bc people started showing up & waiting for a table to be seated. I would suggest making a reservation if possible. We lucked out & showed up right before the dinner crowd started coming in. We were seated at a high top table, and our server was excellent. My husband even commented that we hadnt had service like that in Midland, in a very LONG time. She kept checking on us, bringing us refills, she knew the specials, and was very pleasant. We had the fish tacos, with a side of zuchini & relish on top. The tacos were flavorful and filling. We also had salmon with lobster and a side of charred cauliflower and a cheeseburger with bacon & fries. The food was delicious! We did not see many children at this restaurant, maybe two families with small toddlers. They did not linger around after they were done with their meals. The atmosphere did start getting louder as the bar area increased in patrons. Towards the end of our meal, I felt like we had to talk over other people around us, just to be heard across our own table.

My wife made a reservation days in advance for early evening. We arrived 5 minutes early to a very noisy and over crowded restaurant. We checked in with the hostess who said there were currently no tables available. They should be leaving soon she says. We crowded next to the other patrons waiting for a table. 20 minuets later we walked out and drove to another restaurant with great service. Never returning.

Now playing see why everyone says you must eat here, i have been to Midland on business many times over the past few years and everyone always told me to try this place and well I finally did. I was promptly seated the host was friendly and accommodating, nice atmosphere and very clean from what I can tell, I like that you have a view of the back of the house and nice looking bar area. Anyways my server Brooklyn was very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered a Michelob ultra and their deviled eggs for an appetizer, I loved the deviled eggs as that was the first time I ever found them as an appetizer at a restaurant. They were delicious. I loved the bacon and they had a nice spicy finish to them, but not too spicy. For my entrée, I had a double cut pork chop, seasoned with herbs and topped with a bourbon sauce. It wasnt overbearing, served with a spaghetti squash that was cooked perfect. They had lots of great menu, items and choices, and I cant wait for the next time that Im in Midland to stop in here and try something else off the menu. The bathrooms were clean and just the overall experience was great. Service was awesome, lots of great choices for all sorts of appetites given vegetarians. It is definitely worth stopping in if you are here.

Very nice place to eat in Midland. I got the double cut pork chop with mashed potatoes and it was a great choice. My companions got the steak salad and the Texas pork back ribs: the salad was good, but nothing special on the back ribs. There are plenty of options on the drinks menu, so definitely youll find something that matches any preference. Service was good and the place was clean and friendly.

We had a friend s birthday party and Lexi was our waitress and she was so awesome!! She was friendly and beautiful and knew about our questions we had about all the dishes and drinks. She was patient with us as we had not been here before. The ladies that helped her with us were great also!! The manager was making sure we had all we needed. We will definitely be back!! Everyone has said I had to come. My family came into town so I finally decided it was time to go. I have been missing out. Some of the best wait staff in Midland are working here. Food was great! Kid-friendliness: They had a booster seat and a great kids menu.

I had my birthday dinner here with my friends and the service was excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and very helpful. The food was beyond any other meal we could have had on this special night. It was a great experience and I would recommend it for any meal.

We had and AMAZING experience. Brooklyn helped us today, she had the best customer service we have seen in the Midland area in the 8 years we have been here. From her kind smile to her being well versed on the specials and informed on the varieties of wines. Both wines she recommended were delicious. Would recommended you ask to sit in her section when you arrive if possible. Promise she wont disappoint.

This is the worst case of the emperors new clothes I have ever seen. Im positive most of the patrons of this place just dont want to admit they spent $48 for a nediocre steak with one side. I had heard about this place forever and I was good. I iknew I was going to spend a couple hundred dollars , I just wish it was worth it. The best part of the meal was the deviled eggs, but $9 bucks for five egg halves was quite a bit (still it was the most reasonable thing in the menu. Tortilla chips with what seemed to be pimento cheese was our other appetizer at $14. Seriously, thats what it tastes like, pimento cheese. My date also asked for a small plate of spaghetti. Nothing fancy, nothing special. Id guess it was less then 4oz. and I was charged $14. Drinks were also horribly overpriced. $11 for a shot of Apple Crown that we could get at any other bar for half that (its the same apple crown everywhere). Still as I said, I knew it was going to be expensive. The $48 dollar steak though, that was a crime against meat. If you are going to serve a $48 steak with one side and no bread it should be the best steak I ever had. My dates was cooked wrong and had to be sent back. Mine looked correct, but it was so tough I had to saw through it and had to fight to chew it. Ive had more tender stakes at Steak Express. Oh, and my one side actually tasted good (butternut squash) but I came across something hard and it felt like it almost cracked my tooth. Its hard to admit that you just played a small fortune for what was supposed to be an amazing dinning experience that wasnt. Just like its hard to admit the emperor is not wearing anything, but seriously, that dude was frigging naked. Would not recommend.

The anular eclipse on Oct 14 2023 brought us to Midland, TX. Google brought us to Cork and Pig Tavern. After spending 11 hours on the road to come and see the eclipse, this restaurant was a very welcomed way to unwind and relax for the night. We ordered the Beef short ribs, the Trout with mashed potatoes and a 3 leches for dessert. The service was great and the food was awesome. I would definitely recommend Cork and Pig Tavern to any of my friends.

I used to live in midland and loved the Odessa location. I came back for work and couldn t wait to try the pig pizza. It was amazing. The food and service is perfect.

Food is pretty consistent for a Midland restaurant. The service is what makes or breaks the experience. Last time we went was the worst server weve had since going. Overall a pretty good place if you dont mind the high prices.

Love this place. We don t always get great service in Midland but we sure do here. Servers & managers both greeted with classy yet fun and very friendly attitudes. They took care of everything we needed, but weren t overbearing. Just the right amount of attention to taking care of us. My wife and I both worked in food service for several years and they are top notch. We will continue to come more now that we are living closer to the Ally center.

I placed an order for a 30$ to-go salad. It was supposed to have avocado, tomatoes, red onion and pecans yet contained none of that. It was nothing more than a steak and some lettuce, incredibly disappointing for a 30 dollar salad. May be different if you eat in restaurant.. but would highly advise against placing a to go order or at least check the quality before leaving.

Out of all the Cork and Pigs this is the worst. The black and blue pizza does not have the original sauce, fish and chips are more greasy than long john silvers, and they dont know their pasta sauce. The menu says their chicken parm has a house made ragu sauce (Ragu is a meat sauce that doesnt belong on a chicken parm) but it is actually served with an arrabiata that is too spicy to eat. Also, there is no place to wait for your table. You are in everyones way no matter where you stand. I will say the staff was all very nice though.

Amazing service and food! Dietary restrictions: Can sub Food : 5/5 |

Had lunch there for the first time a few days back, The food was delicious and the service was above excellent. But to add to that, A couple days later I realized I had left my credit card there. I called and talked to Brandon and he assured me that my card was in their safe And we made arrangements for the return of the card. Excellent customer service and I will return.

Vegetarian options: Not many options other than Pizzas and fries Food

Lunch was pretty good, especially the tomato blue cheese salad. Menu is a bit creative in places which is nice, the food s good and so is the service

My daughter and I went here for a Mother Daughter Date, and we had a great time! The restaurant is very nice, the food was very good, and the service we received was wonderful. We will definitely be returning again!

They have great calamari and an excellent steak. Drinks are awesome and service is always on point.

Disappointed that a BBQ eatery that does not have Brisket, Sausage, Chicken and sides you would expect to find at a BBQ place.

My hubby brought me here for my birthday and we left extremely disappointed! Out of all of the places that he could have chose in Midland, he decided to bring me here. They brought us out cold food, not once, but twice! We ended up asking for our bill and telling them to take the entrees off. The manager Bri had no care in the world, not even an apology. Just a look at us in our face like get the heck out of here. We couldnt believe it. We will never return here, we can go and spend our money elsewhere and get the food and respect that we deserve. SMH...

Excellent food and excellent service

My husband and I dined last night at Cork & Pig. It was my first time at the Midland location and I wasn t disappointed; my steak was succulent and cooked to perfection. Also, the deviled eggs were unique and DELICIOUS! We ll be back!

nice atmosphere pleasant service hard to find

Ive only been here twice. Once last year and once this year, both for my wedding anniversary (8 years this year). Both times Ive been absolutely stunned. Delicious food, friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful interior. Only mild complaint is how loud people are, in a fine dining establishment. But thats not the fault of the restaurant. And who am I do deny a good time. Totally worth the price of the food.

Service sucked . It started when I came into the restaurant when they said my table was ready but they gave it to the wrong person then Andy tried to play it off like she accidentally texted me when Cleary the guy told me he gave it away so we had to wait longer. My waitress never came back since she took my order she disappeared to the bar. I wanted to order another drink no refill to any one at the table i wanted to order tres Leche but stil l waiitng so I had to look for her and just take it to go. First time here and bad experience.

Talk about being stingy...ordered the duo dip for take out and the bag of chips was barely shy of being in the middle. Better order and wat it there.

Well I had the and this is the only thing I would ever go back to Midland for. One of the best pizzas Ive had. Ate at the bar, service was good too.

Here in town from Dallas and found this fantastic place in a wierd shopping center. I had the Salmon with crab and cauliflower. My wife had the chicken. All the food was very good! Had the spinach and artichoke appetizer and that was very good as well.
