Good service. Had the turkey avocado melt and a cup of the chicken vegetable soup. No drinks today, but they do make some delicious cocktails. Their buffalo chicken dip is delicious.

My wife and I had a nice outdoor lunch here last weekend. The food, beer, and service were all great. The problem was at the end of our stay, when we tried to pay with a gift card that my mother-in-law gave me for Christmas a couple of years ago. Apparently, they now have a new style gift card, and they are unable to read the old cards with their new system. Management was unwilling to work with us at all, so I had to foot the full bill and my $50 gift card is worthless. I certainly wont be buying any gift cards here if I cant trust the length of their validity. Disappointing end to an otherwise pleasant experience.

Great place for beers and cocktails that have pretty good and reasonable food. Many beers and ciders here from the many local breweries in Michigan. Most beers are available in small glasses so you can try a few without feeling guilty. Vegetarian options: There are a couple of options but not many. Parking: Plenty of street parking and paid parking around. Last visit main Street was blocked for a festival and still short walk for parking. Kid-friendliness: Not a place to bring kids.

In revamping my their menu, they increased their food prices by 30% on average without upgrading the quality any. Turkey avacado melt is now $19 and Adobo Chicken Panini is $16. For those prices I ll go to a real restaurant for food, but maybe that is the direction they prefer to go.

Do you want to taste test the best that Michigan Breweries have to offer in the convenient local place? Where the staff is friendly and the prices are pretty dang reasonable? This is it!! I had a flight of so many good drinks. One of them was Pigeon Hill Breweries lavender ale, it was literal lavender heaven! I burped two hours later and was so happy. Plus they have good food and did I mention how nice the entire staff is?

Good draft selection and ambiance. But the food has ranged from mediocre to legit awful. My husband finds himself here relatively often, specifically to get certain pours not available elsewhere, so Ive sampled a good bit of their menu, and literally every time Ive come away underwhelmed or totally put off. Most recently, attempted to send a dish back, and got some pushback and incredulity from whoever was sent out to deal with the issue, which I thought was super unprofessional.

Good atmosphere.

I feel like the quality of the food has gone down in the past couple of years. We ordered the loaded tots and the cheese wasnt melted, and the chicken was really dry. The time before that I sent my sandwich back twice because the meat was like they just pulled it out of the fridge. Great draft selection though and friendly staff. Will definitely come back for drinks, but Im done overpaying for mediocre food here.

Food is a little over priced, but beer and games in a nice setting? Yes please. The food is good dont get me wrong, but little pricey for sandwiches.

Witchcraft is THEE best restaurant in Midland. The mixed drinks are always so well made, the food has always been delicious, and the whole place has such a good vibe. Plus the menu rotates regularly so there s always a reason to go back! 10/10 would recommend!

So very disappointed.. we have faithfully eaten their almost every week Our favorite is the panini. The price for this meal has gone up $5 in the last 3 years!... The sandwhich has gotten smaller with less avacodo... no more. I will go to Cork and Ale for craft beer and buy a panini machine.

Everyone rants and raves about Whichcraft here in Midland and tbh I m not sure why. I ve went a couple times and the drinks are fine, beer is good. But the food is not that great. I had a Philly and it was cold, barely any cheese. Wasn t a fan of the bread. I figure whatever, we will try again and order something else. Got the grilled PBJ. Cold. Chips were good. But the sandwich again wasn t that great. Tasted like they toasted the bread and put jelly on it, pb and called it good. Usually they are kinda melty and warm. Not impressed, and I m sad because the atmosphere and aesthetics is very cool!

Like beer and you love this place. Like food, and youll say its ok.

Good selection of craft beer. Only stopped in for a drink and an app while killing time downtown before or dinner reservation elsewhere. Atmosphere was very relaxed but friendly. There were a couple of TVs inside to keep track of important spring events, but this is not a sports bar, which is fine and more in keeping with the spirit of the downtown area.

Stop in for drink and appetizers during busy art fair. Quickly seated, service was fast and attentive. Beer selections are vast and diverse. Appetizers were tasty and hit the spot. Nice afternoon pop in.

I had the half sandwich/cup of soup or salad. The spicy sweet chili was very good. And the roast beef sandwich with the spicy aioli was very tasty

First time here and it did not disappoint. Our waiter was awesome and very knowledgeable. Food was great. I got the turkey avocado sandwich with chips and house made dip. It was worth the price and very good.

Nice place to enjoy some Michigan beers! I had the Cuban sandwich, which was really good. The bartender was really helpful and very nice!

Create your own flights from their huge beer menu is fun but the food is just okay. Average sandwiches, potato chips, wraps, etc. Vibe is casual with all the reclaimed wood, can be loud inside but do have outdoor seating. Service is always nice and we don t typically have to wait too long for our orders.

I happened to pass through town on my way back to Detroit from a camping trip and decided to stop here and I was blown away by the service, atmosphere, amazing food and drinks. Given the top notch quality I d say the prices were great! I m usually indecisive about what I want to drink and I like to try new things so the draft flight was perfect! They have such a great selection. But most of all, the general manager Nick who was my bartender made my entire week with his kindness and those are the big things that will keep people coming back. Now I will always make sure to stop in whenever I come up this way because of him. Thank you Nick!

Really like this place with a super casual atmosphere. It is a tad loud, but if you dont have too large of a group, you can still hear. Grilled cheese with pesto and bacon was fabulous. Food

Fun place, wide selection, taps were good, but a simple moscow mule was disgusting.

The pretzel sticks were heavenly. I was on a short time table. Cant wait to come back when I have more time to fully enjoy the menu.

Update: 9-12-23 it is getting better again needs a freshen up and a deep clean and I would give it 5 stars! I like everything here except the service. Its like the dont want to sell beer or food.

If you like craft beers youll enjoy this place. Id rather just have one of the generic light beers, of which they dont have any. I cant fault them for that as they are a craft beer place. The food was good but a little pricey. Of course thats just my opinion, its definitely a good place to check out yourself though, I doubt youll be disappointed.

Witchcraft is a staple of downtown Midland. I wish it had a little more diversity in the food it offers (instead of just sandwiches), but the sandwiches are definitely good.

The staff are hands down freaking AWESOME!!! There is such a HUGE selection of various beers on tap. They also offer a nice variety of wines. The atmosphere is super laid back. Ill be going back to try the food.

We entered the Whichcraft restaurant and my wife said hello to the host who just looked at us without responding in kind to my wife. He rudely told us we could sit at the bar because no tables were available. We sat down at the bar and there were 2 bartenders behind the counter. We sat there for about 5 minutes, neither person behind the bar acknowledged us or even offered a menu. I guess we weren t good enough to dine in a high priced sandwich shop in downtown Midland, so we went back to our friendly downtown Bay City and enjoyed a wonderful dinner served by friendly staff.

Always a great place to come and hang out with friends. Super fun during the summer concerts since they participate in allowing you to get your favorite beverage and walk back to listen to the band playing. Service is always friendly, no matter how busy they are!

Great vibe! Love the board game options that you can play while you drink. The tap options were plentiful including hard cider. My Cuban sandwich and pork chili were awesome. Definitely would go back.

Wide variety of draft and bottles/cans. Food is good and generally served quickly. Service recently has been hit or miss, depending on the server. We were there twice this week, both times moderately busy. Both times we shared a sandwich. We had to ask for an extra plate the first time (the table next to us also shared a sandwich but were give an extra plate when it first came). That same server didnt really believe me when I let her know (nicely) that one of my beers in my flight wasnt what I ordered. The second time we went, we had a different server and service was much better, (including having our shared sandwich served on 2 plates).

I had the Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip. It was okay. I tried the whipped feta and red pepper dip which was also okay. The adobo chicken panini was pretty delicious and our waitress was attentive to our drinks.

If I could I ve give 0 stars because the service was really terrible and the food wasn t that great but my brother left his prescription sunglasses at the restaurant we walked outside for maybe 5 minutes and when we went back in they were gone and the waitress didn t try to help us look for them it was like sorry but not sorry really haven t had anything this ridiculous happen at a restaurant before and I m in the top 10 percent on google maps for reviewing restaurants so I go to a lot of different one

Extensive beer, ciders, wines, etc here. Tried a dry white wine flight last time and a beer flight this time. Both very good. Chicken Fijita Quesadilla was excellent.

Clever name with a huge assortment of Michigan craft beer and really good pub food. If youre in mid-(lower) Michigan, dont miss it.

Midland isnt known for its great dining but, besides the great selection of adult beverages, the food is really good here.

I loved it here!! I was highly impressed. When you walk in the is a great atmosphere. Love the decor on the walls. There are even board games to play if you want. They have tons of taps and have a beer flight option. The staff is welcoming and highly knowledgeable. I highly recommend getting the house sandwich it was amazing!! This is casual bar food though like sandwiches and wraps no fancy meals if thats what you are looking for but the beer cheese and onion are ssooooo good. They do have wine and liquor but its a select menu on the liquor. I cant give enough praise on how much I enough my late lunch.

I have been here twice for lunch and have enjoyed the food both times. The service has been great and it is a nice place. I have not tried their beer so I cannot comment on that.

Im a tough grader, so dont be put off by only 4 stars.... WhichCraft is a taproom that I wish was much closer to my home. LOTS of interesting beers (at fair prices!), excellent service (thx Toni) and solid lunch fare (we enjoy two tasty sandwiches). Cool venue too!

Drinks and waitress were great. The hostess was VERY rude and didn t say a word when we walked up, made us feel very uncomfortable. We all work in the restaurant industry and it was very weird.

First bar I ever went to, went for lunch and a drink on my birthday. Food was tasty, mixed drinks were delicious, good variety of alcohols. They also have board games you can play while youre there!

I was there just a couple minutes and got the job there

We are regulars but if we try to bring our young daughter in with us to have dinner, etc. during the daytime hours, we are often (not always) met with rude hostesses who act like us bringing our child is a nuisance. We came in with space clearly available for us yet were told there was no room with our child. We found if we tried to get a table without our child we could instantly get one. The hostesses seem to dislike families/children which is unfortunate as we have been regulars since whichcraft opened and have not felt unwelcome until very recently while bringing our very well behaved child who is immediately discriminated against as soon as bringing her. Interesting since the hostesses that seem to have the problem with her being there are the ones who are likely under 22. We ve also been made fun of by wait staff for coming regularly which made us extremely uncomfortable and missing the old wait staff who seemed to appreciate customers instead of eye rolling us and complaining that we were there.
