Best Chinese food in town. Its only to go orders, so the service is fast.

I love their food, and have been here many times, but my order was completely wrong this time. Too far from my home to return. Ill check it before I leave next time.

Twice a year we drive 30 minutes from far Greenwood for Chinese takeout. The only thing we ve ever been disappointed in is the fortune cookies and difficulties communicating with their staff. Be patient however and it always works out. This place could use a little cleanup, but I didn t go there for the looks! The food is great and we always have ample leftovers

We visited Midland for a quick weekend visit. We stopped by the Great Wall and decided to get two orders of takeout. Long story short, the portions are enormous! The food was served hot and was delicious. The restaurant looked very clean on the inside which is definitely a plus! Currently, this location is only doing take out orders. Our order consisted of general tsos chicken and then my daughter ordered orange chicken. Typically when you go get Chinese food you have two lumps of pork fried rice or white rice. However not at this location. When I opened up my takeout carrier it was crammed full of general tsos chicken. There were only a few pieces of broccoli though. The rice came in a separate and different container. The meal was delicious. My daughter ordered orange chicken and they were actually slices of orange peel and a strong orange taste. Definitely a homemade taste! There is a bar where you can load up on things like soy sauce and hot mustard and dont forget the fortune cookies. Definitely a place to stop in. I know they would love to have your business. Certainly worth what we paid to eat at this restaurant.

I gave 4 star because its a 2-person operation. Basic Chinese food. Its not fancy but good.

Vegetarian options: If you want vegan they can certainly get it for you, all you have to do is ask. Dietary restrictions: If you need it just ask. I am allergic to bell peppers so on certain things I just let them know and they make sure not to cook with them. We are regulars here, but when we first started coming, i explained my allergic reaction and they were so kind. My husband gets the kung Pao chicken. Parking: Parking in front is best. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair accessibility on the side.

A great dive-y to-go restaurant...and the only Chinese we will eat in Midland. Their chow mein is *actual* chow mein with cabbage and veggies...not lo mein! Our favorites are the hot & sour soup, chow mein, Singapore rice noodles, chicken with garlic sauce (mild because it comes VERY spicy normally), and orange chicken. Its a pleasure to do business with the owners here.

Best Orange Chicken on the planet!

For convenient and quick Asian cuisine, it is really good. Love the dumplings, egg rolls and the crab Rangoons.

We re picky about our Chinese food and this place is really good! They were clearly short staffed when we went in but once we ordered the food came out fast and we took it to go. We will be back!

Everytime Ive ordered from here the food is ready in about 15 minutes. The food is always what I ordered so Ive never had a mistake on my order. The specialties are all really good and my kids love the rice noodles. They also do a special where if you order more than 40$ in food, you get a free 2 liter of your choice when you pick up your order.

I wasnt too impressed w this place in the past, but thought Id give it another try..ordered shrimp fried rice....safe bet....6 shrimp..tasted ok...but the rice was tasteless and not fully cooked...a few bits of carrots and onions..a few peas.. $12....should have stick to my first instinct...now I know....wont be back..hard to find good Chinese food in midland.

Its always hot and fresh, just how I like it. Beef and broccoli with pork fried rice is my favorite dish.

The Lord Jesus Christ must have helped create this joint. The combos are super fair priced for the heaps of food you receive. The pork fried rice is absolutely delicious. The egg rolls are always hot and crispy. I can get a refreshing Diet Dr. Pepper for a whole dollar. A dollar! The nice people who work there will always make an effort for you, despite the place being fairly busy. I cannot recommend Great Wall enough. I have eaten here way too much. God bless this establishment.

The food there is awesome. Fried stuff was fresh from the Rangoon to the chips and rolls.

There is no flexibility in their menu. They won t make any modifications, which is not good business. We won t order here again and keep ordering from King & I or Noodle House for great quality service.

I got the Schezwan chicken it was okay not as good as the shrimp. The fried rice was bland & the egg rolls was good.

Nice and affordable. To me they have the best cashew sauce.

Attention was okay, Food was ready quickly. However the fried rice is the saddest looking rice I ve ever seen. Not a single egg or vegetable on sight. Beware the spring rolls are thumb sized.

Excellent little hole-in-the-wall take out Chinese joint with one of the biggest menus in all of Midland/Odessa! Their service and food quality are always excellent and very consistent. Prices are pretty fair as their portions are HUGE, even by Texas standards! Most menu items come in a traditional styrofoam take out box which is so full it can hardly shut! Feeding the family? They offer a free 2 liter of soda with any order over $40! I personally highly recommend the sesame chicken, give it a try, you wont be disappointed!

To me this is the best Chinese food in our area and very consistent. We order the Hunan beef and the Kung Pao chicken with steamed rice and it is delicious. Always enough to eat for two or three meals

The Triple Delight is great

Open since 2005. Plates are big, it s fresh made right after you order it. I know I worked there in high school. People complain we need to change so they can get multiple meats for 10 bucks or so need to stick with their crummy food court Chinese food. The reason we can t do two meats in one combo is because the point is for us to be fast yet fresh, if the cooks had to cook you beef and broccoli, Lo mein and rice or two meat dishes and rice or lo mein it would take significantly longer for the orders to be ready. The people that complain about the taste here most likely are comparing us to Panda Express or ChinaMex or Stir fry 88 or they probably picked the order up way late and then the food wasn t as fresh or those people have the pallet of a 5 year old. Seriously it takes them 3-5 minutes to cook and pack a small order, 7-10 for a big order, and if you order during rush hour it may take 10-20 minutes for the food to be ready. They also only have 2 phone lines and usually 1 person answering the phones, it takes customers roughly 40 seconds - 1 minute and 25 seconds to order if they call ahead knowing what they want so keep in mind during rush hours you may be hold from 1-3 minutes please be patient. They do Deliver through Favor. During Covid the owner requests everyone picking up their orders wear a mask don t be a mask hole to them. The prices are fair because of the size of food you get and it s on par with the average meat cost, especially when it s good quality meat she also pays her employees a very nice wage so they can stay out of poverty while living here. The Owner is a Woman, a mom, and an overall wonderful sweet woman. They do not give refunds unless it s their fault. One time my beef Lo mein had a staple in it and she gave me a whole new Lo mein when I brought in my other one she even gave me the opportunity to pick a different plate. Fast. Fresh. Always get leftovers. Consistent. I ve only had maybe two or 3 of my orders wrong in the 16 years that I ve ate here and the owner always makes it right. Review the menu before calling, I honestly don t think I ve had a dish I disliked from here. There s such a wonderful variety. Perfect for friends to order and get together and watch movies later.

One of my favorite chinese in midland. You get your moneys worth with huge plates. My only complaint is the last two times i ordered the sesame chicken the chicken taisted like it is cooked in old oil. Some pieces taste more like fish and are kind of over fried. Hopefully they see this and start to change the oil out more often. Nobody likes to eat fishy chicken.

They answer their phone with horrible service no cares about the person try to order the food and then text the persons phone slandering them and cursing them out because they didnt order no food from there

I went at noon intentionally because you use to get your entree plus either an egg roll or soup for well under $10. Today I was gouged for only broccoli & beef at 11:40 on a Friday to the tune of over $14! Not only was there no flavor but nothing additional either. I definitely Do Not recommend nor will I be going back and I discourage anyone else from going. No thank you come again. It was a most distasteful experience all of the way around. Oh and if you look at the menus they have for you to take it s supposedly still less $ at noon. Just be well aware before you place an order with them.

Great food cheese crab won tons, pot stickers, eggrolls, they cook the breaded chicken too hard though.

A must have for me every time Im in Midland. I have eaten here a few dozen times and they seem to always knock it out of the park.

Yesterday I ordered vegetarian chawmein and they give me vegetables with rice , there is no chowmein ,Although amount is good , reasonable price and quick service.

Those who give 4 or 5 stars probably never had really good Chinese food because this was not even close. The fried rice had no onions or egg, the sweet and sour chicken was served with a watery-thin sauce on the side but there was no bell pepper, pineapple or onion mixed in. The small fried prawns (shrimp) had a thick coating of batter that got soggy before I finished eating. The shredded pork was very spicy but that wasnt noted on the menu, the pork wasnt really shredded, just small pieces, and my boyfriend was very disappointed. The lo mein noodles had veggies but were a bit soggy. Very unimpressed and reminded why I wait until I travel outside of Midland to get Chinese food. 2 stars for reasonable prices, clean lobby/waiting area, and a condiments table so I didnt have to ask for extra sauce, chopsticks or plasticware.

My favorite Chinese restaurant, I drive 45 mins one way just to get my fix, sometimes weekly.

I got a huge portion of General Tzos chicken. It wasnt crispy. It had very little flavor & the slight flavor it had was fishy. I was starving and ate about 6 pieces before I thought to give it to a homeless man.... But threw it away instead. Horrible to say the least. Midland had no taste buds & too much money

We might have just caught them on an off night. Nobody ate more than 5 bites of their dinner. $59 into the trash can. The General Tso s chicken tasted like it was fried on Thursday, and then fried a 2nd time after I placed the order. The lemon chicken had the same issue. We won t be giving them a 2nd chance. It smelled great but the texture was horrendous.

Although sometimes the food we order can be overcooked we absolutely love Great Wall and will continue to eat here. We ve eaten here for years and considering Chinese food is probably my favorite food makes me even happier about this place. Love the food, love how nice the lady always is and always pleased with the food. We were so sad when they had closed down for a bit :(

Had favorite Chinese food place back home, started as a small diner and ended with 4 stars. This place is the closest to my childhood memories as a place can get. Only thing to make them better is to open a sit down restaurant. Have never, repeat, never had bad food from this place. My favorite is the garlic chicken.

Its a dive but a great one, its only take-out and very considerate of their customers. They package your food in the best way possible, thats hard to do when you drive like me but I digress. The Sesame chicken is great havent tried the whole menu l, but I will.

Fast service. However ... orange chicken, beef and so on are specials you get a plate for around 10 dollars. There s no small plate with everything because they are considered chefs items. I m sorry but I don t feel like paying 20 dollar (10 for lo me in and 12 for orange chicken) for just me. Wish they would adjust for plates that include the meats with it.

Fried rice was white rice tossed in soy sauce no vegitables in it. The chicken was hard and had practically no sauce.

The young lady in front was patient and really nice. Timing is perfect! The place is really organized and clean. Food is delicious!

I went to Wal-Mart for a hair cut,1hr 15 min before closing, girl charge told me cant help me. I Drove to SUPERCUTS they help me, time 15 min before closing, thanks to them, they have a new customer .

Buffet style restaurant, wide selection of food, waiters and waitress very polite not overbearing with trying to refill your drinks, will be going back!

Charged Me To Fix An Order They Messed Up On. 9 Extra dollars for noodles. They are willing to fight with you if you tell them they are wrong. Update: my girlfriend went there today and ordered the chicken lo mein only to get food poisoning. Sad because she loves the place and now she wont be able to stomach it again.

I love there beef lo mein noodles. They are amazing! No overload of onions and unknown things, more noodles which I love! There sweet and sour chicken is perfectly breaded and there sweet and sour sauce is sooo good. There sesame chicken is good but overly breaded.. Orange chicken is really good reallly tangerine flavor for you orange tangerine l0vers. Thats all I tried so far but so far sooo good! Hope this helps wont disappoint!

The staff were very friendly, but the food was not as good as I thought it should be. My wife and I really like Chinese food, the food we got there was lacking in flavor. We picked up sweet and sour shrimp, chicken. Chicken and beef lo mein, beef and broccoli, egg rolls (overcooked), spring rolls(actually really good) and steamed rice. We only got the steamed rice because the main dishes were NOT OFFERED with lo mein!! No noodles unless you buy them separately... boo. I would rate the place a 1 star but the ladies that served us were super kind. We definitely will be headed to Chinese kitchen, the great wall just didnt have the flavor.
