We used to really enjoy going to Moms when it was owned and operated by June Corson.

Order hot hamburger. Thin frozen patty and French fries from a bag .came with coleslaw that seems to be sitting in fridge to long.eat there before few years agosi remembered it being better.was not good experience. Maybe I order the wrong dish.i should say they gave me a discount for not being satisfied

Fantastic family restaurant that still believes in delicious home-style meals, generous portions, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. My husband and I drove up from Toronto for the Bay Studio tour this weekend, and decided to give Moms a try. We both had the prime rib dinner on Friday night, and were so impressed, we returned on Saturday for the ribs and the pan-fried pickerel. This place is an absolute gem and ticks off all the boxes - the menu has something for everyone, you will not go home hungry, and you can taste that everything is prepared with care and love. The owner comes around to greet you and chat, the staff is caring and committed to ensuring you have a perfect evening, and a very special mention to our server on both nights, *Elsa*, who was so kind and friendly, and went above and beyond in every way, making both our visits extra memorable - gracias por todo! Looking forward to visiting Midland again very soon, just to enjoy another wonderful dinner and evening at Moms!

Just enjoyed an excellent late breakfast here at Moms for a reasonable price. Very tasty home fries. Elsa was a lovely waitress with a big warm smile.

Solid breakfast spot. If you re looking for a staple breakfast meal, this is the place to come. The staff were very friendly and we were super satisfied with our brunch. Highly recommend the eggs florentine and cinnamon roll pancakes.

We stopped here for dinner after a full day in Midland. Amazing atmosphere, service, and food. Elsa, John-Paul, and Tyler were excellent servers and patiently took care of our group of 22. We ll be back again next time we re in town for sure! I would definitely recommend stopping in next time you re in the Midland area.

We were a late walk in and Elsa was gracious enough to seat us. Food was good and the service was even better. Thanks Elsa! Will definitely come back for breakfast and the blueberry pie.

Our waitress, Elsa was fast, efficient and friendly. She saw to our every need. Food was good and the restaurant was clean and inviting. We ll eat there again on our next visit to Midland! Dietary restrictions: I like to control the about of gravy used and they happily brought it on the side.

Always enjoy going here. It reminds me of the family style restaurants that used to be quite common everywhere, but have been taken over by fast food. Used to enjoy the salad bar, but since covid, I think they had to discontinue it. Had dinner and ordered the roast beef sandwich. It was good, but not really a fan of the gravy. Tasted too artificial. Also had a piece of coconut cream pie. Didnt like the taste or texture of the coconut part. Lacked flavour. The whip cream topping part was good. $9 seems really costly for 1 piece of pie. Will return, but likely try a different meal and skip the dessert.

The service and food was excellent.Had the prime rib roast beef and it was delicious and was roasted just the way I had asked. The owner s were hands on and made sure the meal was done to perfection with supervising their staff and watching as the meal was presented to us. The waitress and owner checked on us and made sure that we were served promptly and asked if we were satisfied. This is the way all should be. We were visiting from out of town. We came to this restaurant 5 years ago and the quality of food was just as consistent both times. Well done!

My wife and I were in Midland and I grabbed take out breakfast for us at Moms and it was fantastic. We went back for dinner and it was even better. Amazing food, great staff, very clean. Anyone visiting Midland should definitely stop by for a wonderful experience.

We have been coming to this Restaurant since it opened. The staff are amazing the food is affordable and tasty. Whenever I am back home we always make time for mom s. Also thank you Elsa for making Mother s Day s special.

What a great little restaurant this is! It reminds me of when I was a little girl and all the restaurants were family type restaurants. The food is great and the prices are not bad. The owner comes to each table and spends time with each customer.

This place was fantastic.... The people are friendly..... If you like well done, I strongly suggest the roast beef buffet on Saturdays. Edit: they no longer have the beef buffet on Saturdays and no longer have the carrot/turnip mash. The mash was the reason I went so often.

Extremely disappointed, steak wasnt cooked properly, chicken was EXTREMELY dry, couldnt even eat it. Service was subpar. Items way overpriced for the quality they are. Had high hopes for this place and was thoroughly disappointed.

I think Moms Restaurant has heard peoples dislikes with some of their food and theyve stepped it up. They used to have very greasy food but everything my family had at our recent visit was very well made.

We went there late on a Sunday so very quiet and staff getting ready to close. Nevertheless, they looked after us well and food was good and wholesome

2 problems that spoiled our time. Its mid afternoon Sunday asked for quiet spot. Got seated in the busiest area with a large party beside that was so loud and annoying. Noticed after getting our meal that the other half of restaurant was empty. Asked for eggs cooked thru and hard. Got them totally liquid. Sent back and one egg was still liquid inside. Have been in Midland area for 20 years and had always wanted to try Moms. Might try again, looks like it could be good, it was just too disappointing and frustrating this time.

Hello guys this is my honest and truthful review of Mom s Restaurant. Please know that this review is my personal opinion and isn t to bash or disrespect in anyway shape or form Mom s. Mom s is a restaurant staple in Midland! It has been around for ever! Amazing owners, family run business that cares about community. On that weekends this is the place to go. My wife and I went this July long weekend on the Monday. It was a normal busy day but something was off something felt differently. Seemed like the kitchen help wasn t really on the ball or maybe things have changed. We sat down order chicken clubhouse $17.00 with fries and Mom s grilled salisbury steak $23.00 thinking like always we couldn t go wrong and we re excited to eat. 45 minutes later our food came out! My wife s fries were completely cold and my plate looked like it was for a 10 year old. My wife asked that she have new fries because they were not fresh like they had been left under the heat lamp for a while so the server brought another plate within seconds. Well they must have come from the same heat lamp. She again asked can I actually get some hot fries please. He sandwich was average at best. Finally, the hot fresh fries were here and we could start eating. My plate on the other hand had a small ice cream scoop of frozen veg and mashed potatoes with a little gravy on it. The salisbury. Steak was homemade but over cooked and burnt. Lucky the little gravy they put on it made it edible. Mom s is a great restaurant that used to give great portions now it seems it s about the smaller you can give the better. Mom s makes good food but cheap on delivery. Our bill was $68.00 for something that really was worth $40.00 with tip. I feel Mom s is running off old reputation of quality food, but most of all quantity food for a good price. Is it home quality food? Not at that price. There are other restaurants that will fill your plate in Midland instead of making you walk away hungry! Disappointed but maybe the owners have lost that drive to put out plates that they would be proud of. Again, great restaurant but price point is way beyond quality and quantity of food. Might be time to look elsewhere for breakfast or lunch options because Mom s isn t at the top of the step anymore, but three steps behind.

Best place to eat!!

Moms is the best place in town for breakfest. They consistently serve the best eggs benedict Ive ever had. Their breakfest menu is classic and perfected, exactly what you expect from a quaint family-friendly place like this. I love Moms for the amazing food, the great service and the old-fashioned, laid-back atmosphere that makes for a great start to the day. Dietary restrictions: Very accomodating to adapt the breakfest menu to avoid dairy and other common allergerns.

Went to lunch with my mom, Aunts and their cousin who made the trip from Oshawa. I ordered the onion soup and lunch special of the day, chicken breast with sautéed mushrooms and onions. For dessert I opted for apple crisp and ice cream. It was a great lunch, totally hit the spot. Super friendly host, took our pictures too!

Food was amazing. The quality is on point. They make fresh to order so be prepared to wait a bit. Make sure to make reservations before going. It is a popular/busy place. Prices are not inflated. You pay for quality. Average cost for 2people around 35, 40 dollars

This has been a staple since we moved to Midland! Great food, hot hamburger, prime rib and roast beef sandwich with au jus are solid choices. Chill vibes and a genuine classic diner. Top it off with the great staff that always make the meal more enjoyable.

Food and service great but atmosphere was no good, we had our son and the comments made towards his laughing and playing at the table were rude. Waitress just listened and said nothing. We moved tables as it was ridiculous. Won t be back. Good if you don t have young kids as this seems to serve very opinionated people

A cute little place at Port McNicoll - lovely breakfast, friendly staff, good prices. Just the breakfast we needed before a long day of exploring the area around. We got the cutest table for 2 as well, just by the window on a rainy day looking at the gorgeous fall colours. We have the vegetarian omlette and plain waffles. Everything was very tasty. The potatoes with the omlette were so nicely spiced! Highly recommended!

Over priced for what you get anywhere else this guy has mediocre foods priced like fancy dining. Me and my family stopped going after we started getting bills for 2 sml kids a 2 adult over 75- 80 bucks to eat no thanks we went for supper else where and multiple breakfast spots and we were very pleased with spending way less the MOMS restaurant breakfast is the easiest to cook this guy makes you believe its worth 25$ because your sitting in a old unstylish run down place he should be fair and hopeful that no one gos to any other place its way better and not worth the expense dining at moms

A favourite with the whole family always. The kids love being able to get breakfast at dinner. I love the prime rib special 7 days a week! Parking: Lots of spots on multiple sides of the building. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu. Kid friendly options on the main menu. All day breakfast is the most kid-friendly thing there is. Wheelchair accessibility: It is. Power doors. All one level.

We have had meals here several times and always find the atmosphere to be warm and friendly! Service is quick and the food is delicious!
