My husband and I went here for a good meal. The food was great, service great, and atmosphere was so classy. I felt underdressed a bit but it was SO nice. We plan to go again.

Suzie was absolutely a fantastic server. Very attentive and communicative. Her personality was so vibrant. She is such a great addition to the employees at Grazzi. The food was very tasteful and the presentation of the dishes were beautifully done.

Wonderful Place

Everything was exceptional. We sat at the bar instead of waiting for a table and it was a fun atmosphere. Bartender made off menu drinks and a mocktail for me that was perfect. Eggplant parmesan was divine. Best Brussel sprouts Ive ever had!

This was our 3rd time in....I figured you cant possibly mess up a pizza...very disappointed with every meal from here...itll be hard to return...pizza was tuff & could not bite through it & had to tear it...last year was chicken parm...very bland & to be honest I like Olive Gardens much better...my wife had shrimp scampi & she really liked it...Molly was an excellant server!

My daughter s boyfriend treated us to dinner here to celebrate her 30 birthday! Emma was our server/bartender and she was awesome! So was all the staff we encountered! It was cool to see a server make the Alfredo in a huge cheese wheel! The Alfredo in the jar was amazing! Emma also makes the best martinis! James Bond style! Floating ice chips! Love her bartending skills, her awesome personality and the food was amazing! Definitely a great place to eat in the beautiful town of Midland!

This is an amazing restaurant with fabulous food and superlative service. Gratzi would excel even in the most upscale market (like Naperville, IL where we are from). A real gem of a find and we will certainly be back the next time we visit mid Michigan Dietary restrictions: The menu lists allergens for every dish, and the chef is well versed and able to accommodate any need.

Food taste was good but unfortunately I had a severe stomach upset.

Its been a while since Ive had an exceptional dining experience, this certainly was one. The service was impeccable and the food was spot on. I would recommend this as a great place for a special occasion.

The food was decent but what really shocked me was that my party of 6 were left waiting close to 2 hours for our food to arrive. Quite ridiculous considering the restaurant was not too busy. We had to speak with someone to finally get our food out unfortunate because we drove 40 minutes to get here. Not sure I will be returning because of this.

Good food and good service in a very nice setting. Gratzi has been one of our favorite places for several years. Decent happy hour specials, too (though they could adjust the happy hour menu which has been the same for years - good, but unchanging).

I recently rediscovered a gem in my college town that has quickly become a monthly tradition for my friends and me since our graduation. The restaurant has an incredible atmosphere and is well worth the slightly higher prices. One standout dish is the Pasta Wheel its an experience in itself! Watching the pasta being prepared and tossed in the wheel is something you don t want to miss. The flavors are rich and delightful, making it a must-try. The waitstaff are another highlight; they are personable, knowledgeable, and happy to explain everything on the menu in detail. Their enthusiasm adds to the overall dining experience, making you feel valued as a customer. If you re looking for a place that offers delicious food and a warm atmosphere, this restaurant is it. Ordered a pizza but due to small kids wanting to run around had to ask server to box the pizza. Server says not a problem and brings the untouched pizza back to our table in a pizza box that is placed vertically in a bag. Needless to say the pizza had all thr toppings slide off and was crumpled in the box.

The sever Saya not a problem, puts the pizza in a box, then stands the box vertically in a bag making all the toppings slide to one side and get crumpled up.

Justin was a great and very kind server. Very knowledgeable about the menu and wines. Great food and atmosphere. I d recommend the Chilean sea bass!

Had a business Christmas party in a private room last year. Food service and overall experience was great!

We came here on a Monday evening to celebrate our anniversary. Im very glad we made a reservation as the place was packed! We were seated in a nice booth towards the back of the restaurant, which felt cozy and intimate. The restaurant in general is very loud, I think some sound panels or something would be beneficial. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We enjoyed a hot cheese appetizer, pasta, and New York strip steal for dinner with side cesar salads. Portions were adequate for the price point. For dessert, we enjoyed the Tiramisu and Gelati - that was my favorite part. Overall, it was a nice restaurant, and we enjoyed the upscale vibe.

Our food was incredible, service outstanding, and we enjoyed our family time in the back private dining room, which they had opened up for reservations for our group. We cant wait to come back! I highly recommend the bread, chicken mostarda, and tiramisu! The complimentary lemincello at the end of our meal was also a pleasant and delicious surprise. Thank you! Kid-friendliness: Its so nice when an upscale restaurant can accommodate small children! The kids meal was a great price, a nice sized portion, and came with gelato! Yum!

Such an absolute wonderful place to eat! I always ask for Emma as my server! She truly makes dining at Gratzi and great experience! Very knowledgeable of the menu, attentive, and very friendly!

Saturday July 20th we had a table on the front patio. Too bad the food and service were so awful because it was a nice atmosphere outside. Veal scallopini was basically boiled, unseasoned and chewy with almost no sauce. Sent back and wasn t asked if we wanted something else or anything, just sat there hungry. The shrimp scampi was dry, sticky, also no sauce and had been sitting under heat lamp for a long time. Food took 1hr and 15 minutes, and was inedible. Drinks were empty and took forever. Drinks we ordered but hadn t received yet were on our bill. All around poorly managed operation masquerading as a fancy restaurant.

They can make most items gluten free including most pasta dishes. I did not research the pizza but it s marked as well. Had a lovely dinner and would go back.

Service was a bit slow but thats the only complaint. Authentic Italian food thats delicious. Portions are large. The scenery is beautiful. Its a real experience to try. Loved it!

The best pan-seared Seabass Ive ever enjoyed. Hands down. Service was exceptional as well. Great first visit.

Potato app was delicious. Bolognese was great. Limoncello bar was great. Carbonara was very disappointing. Made with broccolini. The broccolini was very dominant and undercooked. Our house loves broccolini. Not a preference issue. It was also cut very inconsistently and many large hard stalk pieces were present. We attempted to taste components separately, and found the remainder of ingredients to be quite bland. This was surprising considering the strong amount of black pepper in the dish. Overall this dish really brought the experience down. Everything presented as overpriced given portion amount.

Wonderful food and a nice setting for a special meal. We have been a few times and used to also visit the location in Ann Arbor. The experience has always been great!

Dined inside on 7/14/24 around 4:30 without a reservation with 4 adults, 1 toddler and 1 infant. There were 3 people in the restaurant and we were sat at the very back booth. Our server was Michael, who we ve had multiple times and never had a great experience with. Didn t take drink orders upon first greeting, and didn t get them for 30 minutes. Server would disappear for 20 minutes at a time so was very difficult to reorder drinks or get anything else needed. Kids were obviously having a rough time sitting still and we were still left unattended. Dinner finally came out at 6:15, after a glass of wine was broke on us (was not the server doing the carbonaras fault because the table was so full), we finally boxed our meals up and left. Almost a 2 hour dinner and we didn t get to eat the main course. Absolutely unacceptable when there was only 3 people in when we were sat. The only area recommended to sit is at the bar because the servers are terrible. They did cut the bill in half and give us $100 in gift cards which covered almost the rest as an apology. Kid-friendliness: Not at all

This evening, my wife & I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary at Gratzi. Our entire experience was incredible with much credit due to our server Kaleb. We started our meal with the amuse (crostini & pico) which was refreshing & crisp. Our second course was the calamari. It was cooked to perfection & served with a unique sauce. The Burratta salad & mista salad were our third course. Both were fresh and full of flavor (paired well with the focaccia). For our fourth course, the whitefish & seabass stole the show. The sea bass dish was dynamic in texture and flavor all while being presented exquisitely. The whitefish was comforting & delicious. For dessert we enjoyed the tiramisu and were blown away by the hazelnut espresso cake. Finally, all our delicious food was accompanied by knowledgeable, quick & attentive service. Kaleb was personable & made us comfortable while dining. We can t wait to come back & request him!

The table side Alfredo( a must every time I go now) was the best we ever had, the brussels, insalta mista and the carbonara pasta was also some of our top favorites. 10/10 for everything, can t wait to come back.

This is not your typical Italian restaurant. Be prepared for a culinary experience. The ambience is perfect and everyone greets you with a welcoming smile. The food was extraordinary, with the chef making sure my eggplant was extra crispy for me. I am saving the best for last, our server Suzie. She was exceptional. We were treated like royalty. We were her last customers of what I am sure was a long day, but she made us feel like her only customers. I can NOT recommend this restaurant enough.

A wonderful experience all around. We had a hard time deciding because the electronic menus had a photo of every dish! We enjoyed the focaccia and the amuse-bouche. Then the presentation of our entrees was educational and entertaining! Finally, the complimentary shot of homemade limoncello was a sweet surprise. We *will* return, soon.

Mediocre food, chicken marsala was tasteless and beet salad was overdressed. Our server Kristina was pompous and somewhat insulting.

I have been here many times and it is always delicious. Today I had the Mezzaluna a Costine Corte. It is braised beef short rib on ricotta stuffed pasta. The meat and sauce were delicious and melt in your mouth. Had the calamari and also brussel sprouts as appetizers. Everything was served perfectly. It is all made to order so can be customized for allergies or different tastes.

The food was amazing the drinks were horrendous. The waitress was fantastic and the atmosphere was so good as well. I just hate going out to dinner to have a fine dining experience and the drinks are poured so small. Charge me more to pour a good drink! I mentioned this to my good server but the next drink came back the same. Half way down the glass with a huge amount of ice. It s a bad look for a fine dining experience in my opinion and the opinion of my guests. Don t be cheap Gratzi ..have the dining experience 100% all around.

My husbands and I first time eating at this restaurant and my o my it was an awesome experience. Never have we had tablets for the menu but for the price, it works just right. Upscale and Elegant. Thank you Kayla, our waitress that explained and answered several questions that I had. Friendly conversation as if shes known us for years. I appreciate you. Reservations are necessary so you and your family dont have to wait for a table. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious. The food is freshly made, so patience is a virtue. The wait is worth it in every bite you take. Gratzis is the best Italian restaurant weve been too ever! Parking: The chiffon sauce served with the calamari is delicious!

We went on a busy weekend and you could tell the staff was running hard. Worse, they were training new hires in a lot of positions so some things went extra slow. The food was good, but suffered from some timing issues, where it was clear that part of the orders had finished already of the rest. Our asagio cheese dip can out congealed and the calamari were slightly under cooked. Flavor was excellent and our entrees were perfect, as was the lemoncello dessert.

Not often that I get this angry but, Below is a real time pic of the resturant Gratzi Midland where we entered optimistic, hoping to have a meal at what we thought would be a good option for early dinner. I will keep my current emotion out of my text as not to dilute the point of this post. However, not making a reservation, we were told by the hostess that they would not be able to serve us for at least an hour and a half .. Hmmmmm . A lot of open tables for such a long wait . Most of our staff hasn t come in yet. Gotcha. But there s still only one occupied booth. The rest are reserved . Leaving without further argument; I m to assume that everyone in midland eats dinner at 5pm and are on the way after WE leave???? Copy that. *Calling resturant back in the car to check on wait out of curiosity; we can be seated within a half hour . CLEARLY; they did not want to serve US!!!!!! I don t typically blast businesses; however this is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! There is no one in this place to warrant what was obviously an inflated timeframe to turn US away!!! I will never spend a dime in a place that treats people this way. I d love to hear what the management has to say following this post. It must have been my nevermind Please share this disgusting level of customer service!! #PoorService

We recently held a private dining event of 40+ guests and we had the best time! Everything was very well done and efficient making it a great night. Food and drinks were very tasty, we will be back for future events. Very knowledgeable and personable staff, they made it a great experience for us! One of the best restaurant experiences I have had. Pricing not cheap, but not exorbitant. The overall experience was worth the money. Dietary restrictions: I do not eat garlic and onions and the kitchen accommodated my restrictions. Said I could order any entre and it would be prepared without garlic and onion. Most restaurants, even high end, will not do this; so I was pleasantly surprised and appreciative.

One of the best Italian restaurants Ive ever been to! I have been here twice now and had a lovely experience both times. The waitstaff is helpful and kind, the ambiance is elegant, yet cozy. Pasta is an obvious choice here as it is fresh and perfectly cooked. However, I have also enjoyed pizza and steak dishes which were also excellent. Dont skip on dessert tho. All in all, this is an excellent choice for any special occasion, date night, or just a quality dinner experience.

I ve been here 2-3 times in the past year and generally the service + food is fine. However, the last time I went, I ended up really sick with food poisoning and started vomiting within hours of leaving the restaurant. It was a bit alarming that the food was prepared so quickly but we didn t notice until I got sick from it. We also noticed that the quality of the food changed since we ve last been at this restaurant. Wary of returning to this location again.

I have been here multiple times and each time they have messed up my food.

Went for a work dinner. Ambiance was very nice. Food and drinks were delicious! Would go again for date night! Went again with my husband, and it was a great experience. We absolutely enjoyed all our food! We got an appetizer, 3 drinks, 2 entrees, and dessert, and we spent around $115. Vegetarian options: Was able to make things vegetarian easily since everything is made to order.

After several visits I have yet to be let down. It can be busy so get a reservation. Carbonara, Pollo Mostarda, Eggplant Parm are all excellent. Best part is the fresh local pasta. Vegetarian options: Eggplant Parm and a good pasta selection.

Always a great meal and experience. We go for the special occasion menus they have for a limited time every few months. Only suggestion is to make more regular changes to the menu to add variety.

I would never waste my money here again. My husband and I went on Christmas Eve to have an upscale night out. The only thing upscale are the prices. The dressing on my ceasar salad was way overpowered with garlic. My chicken parmesean was dry and lacking. The woman that grated the parmesean onto my entree flung it all over me and never said Im sorry or addressed it at all. My husbands carbonara was bland and flavorless like they didnt season it at all. Then we got dessert, and the waitress said it was going to take a little bit because they were backed up with orders, and it came out burnt! The dessert was the best thing we ordered and it was burnt! Also, we sat in the bar area, and the male bartender was singing everything he spoke, and I mean EVERYTHING. It was probably the most annoying and nerve-wracking thing Ive ever had to deal with while dining somewhere. Our bill was over $100, and we did not enjoy one part of it besides being together. I will never dine here again. The only reason I would even give it one star is because our waitress was a good waitress.

Friendly fast service . Ordered the seasonal strawberry pineapple Moscow mule to drink. It was delicious. Ordered the chicken Alfredo it was amazing. Highly recommend this establishment.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a date night. I ordered the Alfredo da Travola which tossed inside a giant wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano table side. The wine selection was impressive and their seasonal Strawberry Pineaple Mule tasted great! A Limoncello shot was the perfect end to a great meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for amazing Italian food in a great setting.

Have had better service at applebees. A laundry list of disappointment. We came for our anniversary. Stood in the foyer for a solid 10 minutes before someone brought us to our table (restaurant was utterly dead-- on a Sat. Night) the host sat us in a table directly next to the kitchen, even though there was no other customers. We inquired about seating outside because it was extremely hot and humid in the restaurant but the waitress made it seem like it would be an impertinance to her so we said nvm. Simply asked if they cpuld adjust the A/C (I then heard the kitchen staff saying oh youre hot--sorry youre fat). We had to ask to have our dirty plates cleared from the table. The waitress never said a word to us, never checked on us, and we heard the kitchen shouting order for almost 10 minutes before she finally brought it to us. Once she did my husbands entree was inedible (pasta tacky and dry, chicken extremely overcooked). I had two bites of my marsala before giving up--could barely cut it with the butter knife they gave us it was so tough. We finally asked to speak to a manager after all this and she was unbelievably sweet--the best care we had received the entire time we were there. She was gracious enough to take off the burnt entree and two apps from the bill.... Even after all this our waitress never even said a word to us even though she psckaged our to go order and closed out the bill. There was some other waitress who smiled at us and told us to have a great evening. Perhaps the most unwelcome we have ever been made to feel--shocking especially for a supposed upscale dining experience. Eat anywhere but here.

Our family visited Gratzi to celebrate my Moms 90th birthday. The food was amazing! Shout out to our server Ku for his impeccable service which made our evening extra special.

Our party of five on a Sunday evening had the pleasure of Ku as our server. I have a severe shellfish allergy and he made me feel safe and assured. Everything from our first glass of water, salumeri board to dessert was impeccable and Ku was tending to our every need. Thank you for another stellar experience!!

Weve been here at least for times. Every time before has been five stars. After we made our waitress aware that there was plastic wrap in his fettuccine (which he ended up in his mouth) she basically ignored us the rest of the evening (as if it was somehow our fault?). The dining room manager was very professional and apologized. Our service was so bad after that Im still upset about it. The waitresss attitude made a birthday celebration a frustrating experience for us. We even had to ask for the dessert presentation since it seemed she just wanted us gone. We waited for her to show up at our table for more than a half hour and wanted to get a family photo. That never happened. We were not even offered more water. I had to drink my husband glass. Ill definitely go back because everything else was and is normally 5 star but that particular waitress needs an attitude adjustment and maybe a new line of work. She should never be working in a restaurant if this caliber.

My husband took me for a suprise date this evening. Literally, the best food, service and atmosphere. Food was phenomenal. Ive never eaten such tasty food; we felt very satisfied and full rather than bloated and comatose like we do when we normally eat out. Server (Nick B) was phenomenal. Charismatic and sweet. He gave the best wine recommendation and never let our wine or water glasses run out. Limoncello shots at the end were great. The price for the portions are fantastic. I usually dont allow him to take me anywhere nice or pricey because I dont like money spent on me, but this was worth every penny and more. Well definitely be back. Id travel hours for this place. Dietary restrictions: Very attentive and accommodating to my husbands shellfish allergy. Parking: Limited parallel parking. Prepare to park around the block and walk the rest of the way.

Love love this place!! Visiting this area from Texas, stopped by 3 days ago and had to stop by again tonight, and essentially ordered the same items because they were sooo good. Although today I ordered the meatball appetizer, so tender, favorable and delicious. I ordered the pasta bolognese, both times, and really the best bolognese Ive had!! The portions are very generous, and I cant believe anyone could finish it!! The restaurant was very busy, both times, and was able to grab seats at the bar. It appears a reservation is the best way to go. Overall, I highly recommend, just wish I could move it closer to me! Midland is such a cool destination, and must stop here!

First time dinning and it was a short wait time even though they were very busy. Hostess to waiter to manger were all extremely friendly. Waiter was attentive our drinks never even got close to empty. Food was amazing environment was great. Both the waiter and manger tried helping us pick out a wine. Overall great place and experience. Parking: It s downtown parking arrive early and you should be okay. You can always park in the park lot and walk. Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible, however, doors are hard to open without help and they do not have a handicap button.

Nice outdoor area. Eggplant and whitefish could be better for the price. Kids portions are extra large. Meatballs ok.

Fourth time to Gratzi. The Alfredo is always amazing. Unfortunately our waiter was also managing a wedding rehearsal party, so the flow of the evening was poor, including serving the wrong wine. To which he said thats unfortunate. and went away. We will go back for the delicious food and hope for better service next time.

The staff at Gratzi were amazing from beginning to end. The waitress Katelyn and her supervisor Kristina(sp?) went above and beyond to ensue we had a wonderful meal. And oh the Ceasar salad, it was the best Ive ever had. Thank you for a great meal and superb service!

This was very disappointing. The tableside Alfredo seized up and was a big glob of pasty fettuccine in a bowl. The girl who presented had no connection to that offering or the guests at the table. Chicken Marsala? Too much cheese! Unseasoned chicken, NO trace of Marsala wine, burnt pieces of pancetta. Raw strange pieces of asparagus and broccolini. No Gratzi, no buono Midland! Service was decent but very rushed.

Great atmosphere and food was excellent

Oh my goodness! This place satisfies my soul :-) Today, John did such a nice presentation of the Alfredo pasta on the side. He was friendly in his interaction with us, being naturally candid , but confident with what he was doing. There s also Kayla our server today, who was super attentive and mindful with everything we needed. Cheers to such awesome workers at Gratzi!!! Thank you for making our experience pleasant and relaxing.

Absolutely must go! Table side Alfredo is a great experience, all the food was 10/10. Will visit again.

Great place for Italian food.

We have eaten here before so quite excited about returning. It was a Sunday on the slower side. Our gal Kennedy was such a great waitress in training. Well we were the perfect couple for her. One dish was their pizza, it was given to us burned. It was barely put on the table and I knew we needed to ask for it to be redone. My salmon was not blackened as I had asked for it to be. Both meals came back to us absolutely perfect. It was worth the wait!! Parking: The town is lovely so a lot of visitors. Somewhat difficult to find parking

Fine dinning in mid-Michigan

Our hostess, on 09/03 at around 8pm was amazing, our waitress was perfect, right amount of leaving us alone and checking on us. Our pizza and chicken entree were delicious and priced reasonably, along with the drinks. The outdoor seating on the street was amazing as the sun was setting with the orange and pink colors. The best place in midland to eat on a Sunday night. 10/10. Gratzi thank you for a perfect evening with my hot wife.

Atmosphere, atmosphere, atmosphere! This is a really nice place with awesome acoustics. It is NOT loud even though there are so many folks enjoying themselves. Food was amazing, and service was nearly unbelievable. Not cheap, but worth twice the price. Vegetarian options: No, this is NOT a stuck up vegetarian place. Thank God.

I came here for my birthday dinner, and I was completely blown away with the service and the food!! Kennedy was our server and she was absolutely amazing. We tried two of the pizzas, the Bolognese, and the table side Alfredo. I also tried a sample of the New York strip, everything everyone ordered at my table was absolutely amazing. We are from Saginaw and it was worth the drive.!! Chef recommend.

We have dined at Gratzi multiple times as it s our favorite restaurant in the tri-cities. However, last night was the second time since July we have been there and had to deal with fruit flies. They were going in our wine and we were constantly swatting at them. The restaurant was extremely busy. The eggplant dish is my favorite but it lacked the flavor it usually has. My husband had the pollo Marsala which is also usually very good but again it was lacking any flavor. He also had a large stem of broccoli on his plate which they should ve have served.

The food was really good. We both had the pasta with the table side service. The place looked nice and clean on the inside. In my opinion our waiter could of checked in more with our table compared to the tables around us.

We had an amazing time here after a work event. The food was perfect and the service was great. We did not have a reservation but they were able to seat us quickly. I woukd come here again if Im ever back in town.

So many fruit flies! We killed almost 20 while there. They need to clean their grease traps. We also had a group of 12 and it took forever. We won t do a group dinner there again. Arrived at 5 and still waiting for bills to be finalized at 8:15. Vegetarian options: Not a big selection

Steak was over salted and overcooked. Brussel sprouts the same. Service was the highlight. Very accommodating and able to help with gluten free options.

Excellent choice for upscale dining in the area. Bar service was a fun, inviting choice but theres several seating options. Menu is diverse and wine selection abundant.

Excellent food and service!

My husband and I went for a late dinner on a Sunday. The host was extremely polite and informative on the specials and wine list. Our waiter on the other hand was horrible. Never once asked how our food was, I had to ask for drink refills three times and lemons twice. We said we were ready to order she said one moment while she grabbed her note pad and she didn t return for 20 minutes. Our food came out cold as if it had been sitting however our bread was very fresh the second time around. After getting our food we had to wait an additional 20 minutes after we finished eating to ask for a box and we had to ask another server because we had not seen ours since she brought the food. We ordered the afforgoto for dessert and I ensured the expresso came on the side as I like to drink part of it and only use part for the dessert. Our waitress poured the entire thing on and when I asked for another since she poured it after I asked her not to she brought one but charged me for an another dessert. Overall not worth the money for subpar food with horrible service. I would recommend going to any other restaurant in midland. Update from the morning after and my husband and I both have food poisoning.

Very nice spot to get some Italian food!!! My eggplant parmesan was honestly very good!! I cannot wait to try the chicken parmesan!!! My dates salmon dish was okay the fish was fine and had a great char taste but the risotto and green sauce was a little too salty!!! The tiramisu was very delicious!!!! I would come here just for the tiramisu!!!! Our server was a very nice young lady & she did a fantastic job with pre-bussing the table especially while being busy!!! Not sure if they have limited tables but she handled her section quite well!!! Also the vodka infused lemon shot they give to you on the way out was amazing!! Definitely will be back to try more of your food!! Not to mention the Midland downtown area is quite beautiful at night!! Very good spot for a first date/date night with the lady friend!!! Thank you gratzi Ill be back!!!! Came back one year later still amazing!!! Gotta try this spot worth every dollar!!!!! See you soon!! Also our waitress was amazing definitely killed the service tonight for a party of 8 didnt wait for anything!!!

Gratzi is one of mine and my husbands favorite restaurants. We get the Caesar salad every time and their pasta is wonderful. Weve always had great service and enjoy the atmosphere too.

Every time we are in Midland, we try to stop by here with mom to have dinner. We have always had great food, and great service. This time was no exception. Our food was fantastic, and our server, Ashley was very knowledgeable about the menu, and made great recommendations. I wish there were more servers like Ashley. We will definitely ask for her the next time we are in town and make a reservation.

Visited Gratzi on my birthday a few weeks ago. Prior to arriving, I was concerned about having my newish GF/DF dietary restrictions being met as, normally, Italian food would have plenty of both. I emailed my concerns ahead of time and was promptly assured by Chef Rodrigo by pointing out all of the menu items that could be lightly altered to meet my issues. I could not have been happier! I ended up ordering the red pepper soup and the eggplant parm. Both were amazing! I didn t think so much flavor could be packed into those dishes while still being GF/DF. Very well done Gratzi, and I m happy to say that a family favorite restaurant will continue to be so in the future!

Full disclosure- I had to order take out as I had an evening meeting. I ordered chicken Marsala and their version or Carbonara. One for then, one for later. I ordered online and went there at the appointed time. I asked the hostess who seemed confused. She went and came back and told me it would be ready in a couple of minutes. 15 minutes later the manager came over and told me there was a problem with the online order system and they didnt get my order till I got there. That may be true- so Ill take her word for it. (I worked in the restaurant business long enough to know what people are told is not always the truth.) I finally got my order a half hour late. I was a little surprised that they didnt do anything extra for me- but no worries. The carbonara was really good. Not the best Ive had - but a solid effort. They put a unique spin on it. But I liked it. The Chicken Marsala was tasty. Carrabbas is my favorite- and I measure all others against it. Definitely not better, but I wouldnt hesitate to order it again. I liked the ravioli they served with it. Next time I am in Midland I will have to try a pizza. Really good place and food- mildly spoiled by an ordering mixup and effecting my schedule.
