The employees cannot be bothered to even smile at you when greeting you or taking your order. Not sure what the pay or management situation is, but judging by the hiring sign outside, guess not ideal. The food was just okay, nothing special. The menu left a lot to be desired, could not even get gyoza with pork. The sushi portions are tiny and the texture and taste was very off. Not ripe avocado and or not good fish. If you re going to order food here, I recommend not dining in. I spent more time shooing flies away from my food than actually being able to enjoy eating, not that there was much to really enjoy. Overall, felt like a waste of a visit. Won t be coming back here again. Going to literally any other more expensive hibachi for dining in would be 100% worth the extra cash. Got the edamame, crab rangoon, teriyaki steak & chicken, egg drop soup, and a philadelphia roll. Mid at best. Don t understand what the hype is around the food here, but could just be an off day. Dined during a slow Sunday evening.

Dinner dinner in, had Hibachi Shrimp and Dragon Roll. Shrimp was good Dragon Roll was perfect. Restaurant was as clean as any on this side of Midland. Staff nice and quick.

Always seem to be bothering the staff. Im looking at the menu to see what I want, and they roll their eyes. Then, as I order, they want to finalize so you can pay, and they can get back to whatever standing around they were doing before you came in. Food is really good, but within the last few times Ive been in, it has started to go downhill. Foods been burnt and wilted....no crunch to the veggies.

My first and last time! I gave it a chance but was very disappointed in the quality of the food and how it was stuffed all in a to-go box. We dined in and the tables were dirty,food under the table even my kids were grossed out. $45 for me & 2 kids meals seems to high...nonetheless I know I gave it a shot because I like supporting small businesses.

Best place in town! I always order takeout and they are not stingy.! They fill those containers up! I have tried so much on their menu and everything is awesome! Great prices too! Love it!

The cashier was very rude. She had a bad attitude when talking to her. I understand having bad days, but you re at work and people don t deserve to be treated like that. The food was bad, it was $10 so what did I expect. First time and I ll never go back.

I just left the place and the cashier was EXTREMELY rude when I simply asked for some sauce. They have a sign that says up to 2 per plate and one per sushi I ordered 2 plates and 3 sushi s and with a terrible attitude she told me to get 3 and leave . I used to order from them pretty regularly needless to say I won t anymore!

The Best Spicy Orange Chicken Ive Had, Also Love Their Japanese Noodles!

They told me that the food was very delicious but for my taste nothing like that. I can only say that it is passable

The food was really great, and the people were very nice as always, the first time trying their orange chicken. Pleasantly surprised nice light heat. Not overly breaded crispy from start to finish for me, and I definitely will be getting it again.

Got my sushi and house fried rice with chicken and shrimp omit steak. Normally the food is good I had gotten the rock and roll sushi two nights before and it was awesome. But last night nothing was good the sushi wasnt as fresh, the rice was scorched as was the little pieces of chicken and shrimp.I called hours later and was informed that I had waited three hours to eat the sushi so thats why it wasnt good I was given a 10% discount on my next purchase not come back and well fix it no a 10% discount nothing about my burnt food though so eat at your own risk and if you want you can have my dis c ount

Travelling across Texas and needed dinner after a long afternoon. Food was great! 2 adults and 2 kids under 10 -- we ordered 3 entrees and 1 order of crab rangoons. It was SO much food! We grabbed ice from the gas station a block away as we hit the road once more. Looking forward to the leftovers tomorrow!! (Also, womens bathroom was old and simple, but had been freshly cleaned and perfectly functional.)

Its very busy for a reason. The food is excellent for the price. the cashier didnt seem to care about helping you and wouldnt explain what items were. Parking: Its in a strip mall so the parking at busy hours is very full. Kid-friendliness: Clean environment with plenty of room for children to not bother anyone while yall enjoy your meal.

Ok, Ive been here a few times, and each time, my dining experience is never the same. The food is hit or miss. I dont know if its a different cook, Mars and Venus are misaligned...or what. So just something to keep in mind. When its good ...its good.

Ive only tried the chicken yakisoba which is chicken with noodles, very great taste and a good serving...2 can dine for this meal for under $20. You cant beat that, especially with how prices have gone up on EVERYTHING. Oh and reason I gave a 4 is because that dang door is so hard to open, feel bad for those who dont have strength smh, FIX that door or maybe its for a reason due to it probably flying open...who knows. But just FYI. PULL HARD

Decided to try this based on Google reviews. I can say I can see why the reviews are great! I will for sure be coming back next time I m in Midland. We got the vegetable yakisoba and the jalapeño chicken dish and one egg roll. All are amazing and would order them again! And it s so so much food!! Next time, if I order by myself, I ll get vegetable yakisoba and add chicken. Delicious! I m getting hungry thinking about it!

Hibachi Express is a go to for a fast, delicious dinner. They have a few locations in the Big Spring/Midland area, keep that in mind when ordering if in West Texas. Food is great and service is fast.

Ive tried all the expensive restaurants to the affordable restaurants/markets and this is definitely some of the best sushi in town PLUS extremely affordable. I think the highest priced roll is 12$ Parking: never hard to find a close parking spot

Good prices and good food the orange chicken is fantastic this is one my favorite places I come here all the time for lunch. Only problem is it takes a really long time to get your food theres been plenty times Ive waited over 30 minutes. Definitely considering calling it in during busy hours.

Great Hibachi for lunch I always have the scallops and shrimp. We go a few times a month and always clean and consistent. I want to try the Tom Yum next.

The place was busy I expected a more traditional feel then what I got . Its a modern American Japanese style food place the fried rice is terrible the goyzo dumpling were great and the sesame chicken was really just sweet and sour chicken with some seeds all and all not satisfied with the food it was a one time stop for me . But iam sure others will enjoy it . Very friendly staff even under stress. And the egg rolls are good all in all it just makes a Midlander miss Chinese Kitchen .

Great place for some quick and good hibachi.

The customer service here is always bad for me. The front counter people always have bad attitudes. I ordered fried rice which usually has peas and carrots. However there were none. Its also pictured with peas and carrots on the menu board but she said it did not come with that. Furthermore I waited a very long time for just a kids meal portion of sesame chicken with fried rice. What really hurt my spirit is the fact that no one cared or even tried to make me a satisfied customer. I understand we make mistakes but when you do absolutely nothing to fix it, that bothers me.

What the... We were just passing through Midland on the way to Dallas and happened to stop here. Now Im confused. This place is fantastic. I had the hibachi chicken and was very impressed with how much depth of flavour everything had, from the fried rice to the delicious broccoli and the tender chicken. Also, had the California roll, and my wife had the Philly roll, both were great. Its something I would have expected in Los Angeles not in the middle of Texas.

This is one of my hidden gems in midland. I forget the name but its a kabob with beef,onion,mushroom,bell pepper and red pepper. With a sweet almost soy sauce that is sprinkled with a kind of seed. This is so amazingly good. Parking: A cluster sometimes

I ordered the jalapeño combo...same thing I always get.....with noodles....I didnt look until I got home and it was rice...it was closing time and they said they would give me a side of noodles. .I asked did they want me to bring food back and she said no.. .when I got there she told me next time I needed to bring the food back so they could fix it like I did something wrong when they are ones who messed it up. Wont go back there again and I really like that jalapeño combo with noodles!!

Just passing through to El Paso for work and craving sushi. Stopped here and ordered the Lees Roll, normally I dont do fried rolls but the description sounded too good not to try. It was absolutely amazing! So many yummy flavors in one roll! Im definitely stopping here again when back in the area!

Im new to the area and it was the first thing that seem good to eat I havent had hibachi in a whole so why not.. The meat portions were kind of small in comparison to how much rice they give you and the price depending on what you get...Overall worth going back for a round 2.
