We have been going to Carambas since 1996. We moved down from New York & thankful found a Mexican Restaurant that knew how to cook good Food. Best Chalupas, Rellanos & grand children love the chix strips & gravy with fries. They have a wonderful menu. Wheelchair accessibility: My husband has bad Parkinsons & they help him get in & out soo easily.

Without a day I went to eat with my husband, I loved the food, everything was very delicious, without a doubt, the young cook, very attentive and polite, I will come again

Truly authentic Mexican this place isnt open late . But it is a must to stop in ,there is really good Mexican restaurants in midland and odessa and then there is Carambas food that taste like your grandma use to make . My wifes church group meets there 2-3 times a week I was just so fortunate to tag along for the first time and was amazed how delicious everything was just was bit disappointed our server wasnt the most pleasent .

I have been eating here for about 10 years, food is always good but always have to send it back because its cold with no exception for today but the meal I get and always have gotten was not just cold but it tasted horrific ate 2 bites and threw it out!!! I will not return!!!

The food was pretty decent, the staff was excellent and the dining room was just a bit small. But overall, it was a good experience.

Very quiet, nice place to eat. The service was excellent but the food was just okay. If you cannot handle spicy, this is the place for you. Nothing we ordered was even a little spicy sadly (which we like). If you want to order an alcoholic beverage, you are also out of luck. No alcohol of any kind is served here.

This was our first time here, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food and the service were excellent.

What happened ? Carambas used to have the best fajitas in town. They used to be sizzling on the platter, large slices, a large potion just the best. That s why we were looking forward to last night after being away for a time. Last night s fajitas were little more than room temp, tough, well done, skimpy little pieces of mostly gristle TOTALLY disappointed. Did you change ownership or chefs in the last 12-18 months ? You lost my business last night along with any compliments/referrals which I used to freely and frequently pass on. SO SAD.

Wow!!! I recently moved back to Midland after being gone 23 years. I use to eat here almost every day back then. I was so happy to see that this place is still open. The food is fantastic, the service is fantastic. I just cant say enough good things about this place.

This place has the best Tex-Mex food in Midland and they re always super fast and friendly. You will find the best queso, best red enchiladas and chile rellenos (minus the Spanish sauce) in the area!

The food here isnt horrible, it use to be much better though. We used to come here a long time ago but when we moved out of Midland, we just havent been back in a while. We decided to go here again just the other day and we were mildly disappointed at just how average the food was. It used to have more flavor and more zap to it. Im not sure exactly what changed, but it doesnt taste the same as it used to. Also, they used to have much much much better tortillas, now they just taste like some bought in Mission tortillas or something.

Lowering my rating. This time I came my green chicken enchiladas had little to no chicken in it and the sauce was bland. The service was great and the sides were good. Good chips and salsa too. The tea was fantastic. I dont know if Ill come here again though if I do it wont be for the green chicken enchiladas. I usually like this place not sure what happened today.

The server was pleasant and the food came out quickly. Thats the nicest thing to be said. You can smell the preservatives in the corn tortillas and the red sauce tastes like its from a can. Left almost all of what we ordered. Just no.

Mediocre at best. Old El Paso taco shells and very little meat. Enchilada sauce was from a can as well. Ordered cheese enchiladas and got beef. This might be what some people like, I dont know how, but not us. This is like mexican food you get in Oklahoma.

The foods were too cold. Inside Enchiladas was cold. Not so impressed. PS. This review was over a year ago. I gave them 3 stars. Now I gave the review only one star instead because This isn t the professional and have no hospitality to solve problems.

I had the Tri-enchiladas. I should have stuck to just red beef. The chicken was sort of dry and the white sauce wasnt my favorite. Our server was attentive without being intrusive and was friendly. The music was loud and the restaurant was packed; making it almost impossible to hold a conversation. Guess it doesnt matter much since you get to hear everyone around you yelling theirs. We went around 11am in hopes of beating the rush.. Nope. Overall it was ok. Ill try it during dinner and see how that goes.

Fake Mexican food. Rice no flavor beans very greasy and watery. Ordered fajitas and food was ready right away I know it was not prepared to order why list as fine dining Mexican? To be honest Rosas Cafe has better Fajitas, queso and guacamole don t waste money no I do not work for Rosas and you can go to Monterey or Chitos or even taco villa and get better and more authentic Mexican food you are quick to reply to bad comments but your food is HORRIBLE what place serves white rice as Spanish rice??

We are visiting from out of town and went there because of positive reviews. Couldnt wait to order a Margarita, guess what, they do not serve any alcoholic beverages, I had a Sprite, UGH! Bummer. If I had known we would have gone elsewhere. They have been in business 30 years with no liquor license. They have lost millions in revenue, not to say how many people do not return because of no alcohol. Food was average at best. Sorry, nice place but we would never eat there again. Service was fine but who eats Mexican food without a couple Margaritas.

Visited tonight and although the food was good the owner and manager poorly handled an issue. We waited over an hour for a sopapilla and even paid our ticket in advance. The server said she asked the owner to come speak to us and she refused. We decided to leave without our paid desserts. The wait for a fried tortilla basically was ridiculous without explanation. All the way from Kentucky, this Midland Texas stop was a disappointment in customer satisfaction. Although... Brittany was am amazing server!! She deserves a raise for dealing with this poor owner
