I ordered the chile relleno and it was good and spicy, but I couldn't finish it, so I am glad I had beans and rice with it. Plenty of food and reasonable prices.

I eat breakfast here every morning and they treat me like I own the place! The only issue I have is a very small one and it's not a sanitation issue as much as functionality. Try cleaning the pepper shaker lids once in a while so the pepper will come out.
Place is clean, came in ready to order something warm but don’t have menudo til Saturday!! Tacos de barbacoa was ok tasted reheated… waitress was friendly but waited for her to look up from her phone to get a refill on my drink. Restrooms clean but no TP. Don’t think I’ll be coming back.

This place was awesome! Very good food at a reasonable price! Went during lunch on a Friday and didn't even have to wait. That's because they get the food to your table quick!
The food has been perfect every - single - visit. This was an absolute delight to be introduced to by a fellow local. I can not recommend it more. The food was truly delicious. If you're a fan of ma&pops, local dives, or authentic and delicious food, this is a good place to be in Midland. The staff checked on us regularly, but not TOO regularly, and treated us like they'd known us forever. Such a warm and genuine atmosphere! It's a small and intimate dining room, and staff don't mind altering menu items as it's all cooked fresh to order in the kitchen!
This is by far my favorite place for lunch. I've been told that they have amazing breakfast as well. I can't make Mexican Rice to save my life and this is the ONLY place that makes it how I like. 85% of the time I'll order the green chicken enchiladas ❤️

I have been a regular customer at La Confess for years. They have a tasty salsa they serve with fine tortilla chips. I usually order beef fajitas. I try to eat there whenever I am traveling through Midland. This is that family owned and operated Tex-Mex restaurant people search for until they find it!
I got the Condesa Plate with 2 cheese enchiladas with red sauce, a chile relleno, a crispy taco with rice and beans. I had them add an egg on top of the enchiladas. Everything tasted great. Nice, small little hole in the wall restaurant. Good service and pretty quick.

Food was ok but when it comes to Mexican food my taste is very picky. Ordered huevos rancheros, beans were pureed into liquid which had no substance but the flavor was good. The potatoes seemed to be boiled or steamed then grilled, very different for me but when it comes to potatoes its hard to go wrong. Flour tortillas are homemade which is a plus but they are made with to much lard, the tortillas get hard and flaky when they cool and I didnt get half way through my meal before this happened. They were delicious when served hot. Was almost ok satisfied with the Ranchero sauce, not enough sauce and it was bland. As I mentioned, Im picky when it comes to Mexican food especially breakfast. Im visiting Midland for the week and will definitely give it a second chance, service was good and the entire restaurant was very clean.

Great little place to grab lunch. Get there before noon to make sure there is no wait. The closer to 11am the better. Fresh food cooked to order is what you get. Best Mexican spot I have been to in this area.

This is by far the best Mexican food restaurant in Midland. It s authentic, tasty and just plain worth the trip.... take a peek in the kitchen-a few older women cooking and they work efficiently-like a well oiled machine.

Staff was friendly and there was a line out the door. The food was good but the breakfast burritos are pricey for the size. The salsa cups are too small but the chips and queso were fantastic! Drinks are only bottled or in cans. Will probably come back, especially for the queso!

Went there for the first time based on the ratings so we thought wed give it a try. They did not disappoint. Food was fantastic super fast and all homemade. I would highly recommend anyone to go and enjoy the great and fast service with great food.

Had the condesa plate which included 2 cheese enchiladas, a beef taco, & a chile relleno, and I was pleasantly surprised with the taste of the enchiladas. The chile relleno was a little different from what Im used to in Mexico (Coahuila), but the taste was good. I also liked that they put cheese on the beans and rice as well. Plus service was quick and reasonably priced. All in all, I would recommend trying this place out.
