Honestly, I dont have to say anything bad about the food, its very delicious. But there is a man who assists you at the entrance or sometimes at the drive thru, I dont know if he is the owner or the manager or I dont know, but he is super despotic, he has no tact when treating people, he is super rude and who is the manager since I saw him treating a new waitress super badly, he is very despotic and feels like he is very poor guy. Well if its the owner, bad for him.

I got the Birra taco plate. It was spicy(which was good) but had no seasoning. The beans and rice taste were out of a can(bag). Not what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. I also got the pork belly appetizer, Now that was really good. It was a lot. Next time, I will just order the pork belly.

Whenever I come with my friends we have a great time, its a place we frequent a lot. The service is excellent, Mayara is one of the waitresses who serves us the most and it is not for nothing that we keep coming back.

Listen hands down our favorite Mexican restaurant in midland. The food, the drinks, the vibe this place is the best. Even my friends who have lived here for years I tell them about this place and they are never disappointed. The whole menu is delicious!

We come here once a week and if not more with my co-workers and have always loved it until recently , my husband ordered the ribeye aquachiles and I the caldo de res, we got there and ordered 2 margaritas, she only brought one, no biggie, 15 mins later she finally comes to the table and we ask for our second one, about another 15 mins she finally comes and takes our order. Time passes, we get the aquachiles and the side of charro beans I ordered, we asked her about the caldo, 20-30mins passes she brings ANOTHER aquachiles, so we tell her no we got caldo de res and asked for 2 Mexican candy shots.. she completely ignored us the rest of the time and had to get another waitress to get us our Mexican candy shots and told the girl up front to just make our food to go, considering we had been there over an hour with no refills or update on our food that was never put in to begin with really sucks because we loved this place for the last 3 years and was like a routine for us but seems like all the good servers have left. Also to add, the receptacle by our table had no outlet cover and open wires exposed and my son brushed up against it, definitely NOT SAFE.

It was my girlfriend s birthday we had been a few times before and had a great time. This time we tell the waitress it s her birthday, she says we do a dessert or a shot? My Girlfriend who very rarely drinks says let s do a shot. They come out with this boat of shots, which she did not feel at all!!! And then charge us $30 I ask to speak with a manager, she acts as if I m crazy for thinking we would receive something for free on a birthday Maybe this is the West Texas way?

Highly recommend the trio fajitas. I will try the corn tortillas next time; the flour tortillas were a bit too hard.

our waitress estefani was really unprofessional. my friend didn t like her plate and when she told her she gave her an ugly look and didn t say anything and took the plate. she still charged it on her ticket when she only took one bite. it also smell like straight up BOOTY up that restaurant

I ordered a Crown and coke and when I got it the coke in the drink was flat. So I asked the waiter for a beer instead because the drink was no good. So when I got my bill they charged me for the Crown and coke. I then told the waiter if she could remove it from my ticket and she said no since it was an alcoholic beverage. Mind you I just took a sip of the drink and that was it. This drink was $16 dollars and I didn t even drink it. Horrible customer service.

The food here is great. My son and I have been here a couple of times. I absolutely recommend the asada fries. I haven t had anything I haven t liked. We will definitely be back and try more items on the menu.

incredibly warm inside I thought I was going to be ill. The waitress was unable to hear us because the music from the speakers next to our table was full blast. By the time we got food I wanted to leave and by the time we left I decided to not return. Was not enjoyable. Food, mediocre. I had a silent car ride home because it was so unnecessarily obnoxious in there. Dozens of other locations to enjoy.

WOW .. Worst enchiladas I have ever eaten, definitely will not be eating here again. Enchiladas were cold, there was no gravy sauce, and there was little mounds of cheese on my enchiladas. The place scared me for life . PLEASE stay away from the enchiladas if you do decide to dine here.

I think the main reason for giving 4 stars out of 5 was that our visit was during Mothers day and the place was packed. Our service was a slow but the food tasted very good. My salmon was perfectly cooked, although I cant say it about grilled veggies that were not completely defrosted... The mixed drinks while artfully done, had so much ice in them that I was wondering about what exactly we paid for. That was another reason to reduce rating.

The staff has trouble understanding what you order and they will bring you out something that you did not order and then when you tell him they say you still have to pay for it and take it home. I talk to the manager and he said have you never eaten here before and I said yes, but I ve never had this issue before and he said well, sorry you know it s just how it is pretty much . The lady who helped us was very rude. I said, may I speak to your manager and he was also rude. He used to work at Olive Garden now he s the manager of this place and I will never be back. The music is so loud you can t even have a conversation with anyone in the restaurant that you bring. It s more like a club atmosphere if you want to go clubbing and drinking.

Stopped bye at this restaurant to have dinner, and while food was okay, our waitress was horrible. She kept checking her nose constantly and looked wired. The music was on repeat, and drinks were lacking. Definitely wouldnt return or recommend.

I love this place! This is one of my go to spots in town. The food is delicious, service is good, my only complaint would be that they play music much too loud in the bar area most times. The Birria tacos are fantastic and the queso is my favorite in town. Overall you cant go wrong with this place!

Today I was for the first time at the Macarenas restaurant in Midland, I was surprised with how cozy and beautiful the place is, but above all with the incredible attention that the waitress Mailem gave to me and my family, I have been to luxury restaurants but I have never felt so good with treatment like that provided by this excellent waitress, wonderful service, with my child in particular, she made us feel at home, I recommend them to everyone.

I came to eat lunch here with my family on Friday 3/1/24 after a family funeral. The food was awful or my plate was bad and other family members said there food was not good either. I had the Beef enchilada plate and the hamburger meat in the enchiladas tasted like taco bell meat. I took 2 bites of my entire plate and did not touch it anymore. I told the manager and he didnt offer another selection of food , he said I had to pay for the plate. He said I should have told the waitress but she didnt come back to the table only when she brought the ticket, and I told him that also. I do not recommend eating here I had an awful experience. I paid for a plate that was full and left on the table. I commented on there Facebook post and they deleted my comment so Im posting this review here. I am a born and raised midlander and this is awful customer service. Will never go back.

I can say that the restaurant is probably one of the best I have ever attended, thanks to the delicious food and not to mention the treatment from the waitress Mailen who treated me extremely well. Good night pilgrims and foreigners Pooooooo what Ill tell you, first time visiting this place. The atmosphere as soon as you enter is cool, the place is very busy, with a cool atmosphere. All the food that came out of the kitchen looked super delicious!!! We ordered the melted cheese with chorizo, it also came with avocado slices. It was great. Good taste. The chorizo is the net. I ordered some enchiladas that came with shrimp, chicken and steak. The shrimp and chicken were cool. The bad thing is that I got up to use the toilet, I still had rice and beans and an enchilada PLUS the steak, and when I returned to my table, my great and good waiter had already taken my plate The guy never showed up and I no longer knew why they took my food. I got up to pay and left What I managed to prove was 2.3 net.

The restaurant is one of the best I have been to thanks to the deliciousness on the menu and the magnificent treatment from the waitress Mailen, who served me magnificently. Without further ado, I was delighted with the place. I really highly recommend it

Great Tex-Mex!! Friendly service and great prices. I had the #3 combination plate with Chile relleano, beef taco and enchilada with green sauce. If there was one thing that could change is to lower the volume of the music just a bit. While I love authentic Mexican music from growing up in the south west, the music was just a bit loud. Was hard to hear conversations.

Disgusting place of business. Both restrooms backed up and toilets were spilling over and it smelled like sewage yet they continued to serve food and stay open. I had already ordered food hadn t been served yet they refused to cancel my order. Manager wasn t helpful at all only could only say sorry. If no restrooms are available the place should be closed yet they kept serving food. I will never visit this establishment again.
