Montecito Bar and Grill... On West Industrial, Midland Dont Waste ur Money! Dont Waste ur Time!! Horrible Service Horrible Tasting Food 1hour Waiting for Waitress to take our Order. Another hour for our Order to be served. Never got drinks or salsa/chips Refill.

Ordered a water and it s city water. Ordered a queso but never got it asked for it several times. Never refilled chips guess it didn t matter since we never received queso. I ordered Asado With that, it comes with your choice of tortillas that s if they bring them to you never received them asked for them twice. We paid cash because they want to charge you 4% to use your card. I understand the card charge but when you have to beg to even get part of your meal it s kind of ridiculous. Last but not least it s 82° outside and 80 in the building and you can t get refills on your drinks.

We ordered carrot. It wasn t a long wait. Everyone enjoyed there food except me. I ordered a brisket burrito and it tasted horrible. The brisket was burnt and dry.

Review edited 02.24.2024... While my original review stands, food is good, and its clean, the atmosphere has become completely unbearable. Weve been 3xs now and the music has been so loud its been eardrum shattering. Not just loud, but so loud you couldnt talk at your table without yelling, where you couldnt understand or hear the waitresses and your ears/head hurt before leaving. We asked multiple times for canned music and the mariachi band to be turned down and were ignored each time, which has us never wanting to come back because while the food is good, the experience is miserable. If you have any sound sensitives or you want to have dinner conversation then eat anywhere else. -------------------- The food is delicious. Weve tried multiple things and enjoyed them all. The service, while slow, is excellent and the atmosphere is nice. Its clean, plenty of room, theres sports on the tvs.

This place was clean and the service was good,so was the caldo de rez,my only problem was that it was so small of a serving for the price.

The salsa is delicious, as are the drinks, chips, hot flour tortillas, and queso. I was a little sad my fajita chicken was dry, but everything else was absolutely perfect. Last time I came I had the quesadilla and it was so good I had to come back and try more.

My son got sick our server was rude as hell they do not take the order right.

The waitresss service was very good, but it was the first time I ordered the beef broth, it was already turning sour and spoiled.

Everything is great! But my favorites are the menudo, Red beef enchiladas, chilaquiles & huevos rancheros. The waitress(s) have always been wonderful when we dine in or take out!

The truth is, it is a place I will not return to, the food has no flavor, you ask for a beef broth and they give you fish with beef, the vegetables are resewn, discarded, honestly horrible...

We will never be back. It started bad from the moment walking through the door. The couple in front were seated right away. We stood there for almost 5 minutes before a very late group came in. Someone asked them how many in their party and I yelled that we were waiting first. This was 11:30 am. We sat down and waited thirty minutes before getting our drink order. Another thirty minutes before our food order. We finished eating and sat waiting for the bill. By the time it was over it was past 1:30 pm. The food was not that good either. The chicken was very dry and the enchilada sauce was bland and boring. The rice was delicious though. Terrible terrible terrible place

Had mixed reviews the 1st time we went we had a table of 15 and had great service and the food was fresh and hot. The drinks are cold as well as the beer. They have a nice bar and you can catch games on the TVs clean restrooms and overall clean space. Parking is limited but they didnt have a wait at the door. We went back because of the 1st experience but had opposite experience the food came out at different times and was cold we had to keep looking for our waitress to bring items we had ordered. But we will still be back with that said

Was in Midland for a volleyball tournament. Had a large party of 30, it was late, we needed to feed our team quickly and we were pretty much turned away from a chain restaurant. Great food, great service! Definitely be back when we are in town!

Next day stomach issues ***** The waitress was okay ,the food wasnt good at all and about 15 minutes into it thats when I knew I messed up. Dry food ,tasted old, tortillas were rubbery with salt. The place use to be good , alas just another one in Midland failing expectations. Never again Montecito ,what happened to you?.

Salsa and queso yum yum yum and there chips have the perfect crunch. Everyone needs to eat here no lie!! I will be back every time Im in town no doubt!

Great fish and shrimp soup...very spicy..nice staff **Update** First time back in 3+yrs..they have remodeled the dinning area looks very clean they did an amazing job with the bar area. I had the fish soup again and it was still so delicious.

Food hits the table before the silverware. Civeche was inedible because ther was more jalapeno than seafood. Flautas couldnt be cut with a chainsaw. And the carnitas was bland and dry as woodchips. Never again. Will say that the waitress (Brianna) was very sweet, and thats the only reason this joint even gets one star.

Very good breakfast!!! Glad we stopped in to see the completely remodeled restaurant! Prices are not inflated. This is our new place for a REAL breakfast!!!

First visit. As soon as I walked in the door we were greeted with smiling faces and a warm welcome. I like the arrangement of the tables and the size of the dinning area. They can accommodate a large number of people but you will not feel over crowded. The dining area was spotless, there was not even any dust on the ceilings. The Service was prompt and polite. I had the number 67 (one enchilada, one taco, one flauta, and one Chile relleno). I opted to take out the Chile relleno as that sounded like too much food for me and I did not want to be wasteful. The enchilada was below par in my opinion, but not bad. The flauta and taco were perfectly made and delicious. I will be coming back soon!
