Pi Social in Midland

Sat at the bar with Sarah the bartender. She had a great personality and made the visit even better. Food was on point as were the drinks! Also loved the vibe of the whole restaurant.

Had pizza and drinks came to 200.00...Id say a little pricey but it was a great atmosphere thou

PI Social is located in downtown Midland. Upscale yet homey, this Bar serves delicious drinks with familiarity or if you choose let the bartender create one of their personal recipes. The delicious bar food is absolutely scrumptious. They take original ideas and create a masterpiece all their own. I recommend Wagyu sliders, and the charcuterie board. This is a must if you are in the Midland area.

Ordered the spaghetti and wagyu meatballs as well as a spinach and mushroom pizza, I added confit garlic to the pizza also. Ordered through door dash, with that being said pizza was just warm as well as the pasta. Not Pi Socials fault at all but if youre going to order from here, drive and pick up or eat there. Spaghetti and meatballs were very tasty, pasta was cooked well and meatballs were very tender with a deep, beefy flavor. Sauce was a typical red, nothing really stood out about it but it was good. Now for the pizza, I added confit garlic because I figured it could only enhance the flavor I was expecting (or lack of). It did not, now dont get me wrong the pizza was VERY good, the crust was cooked perfectly and had great flavor, white sauce was lacking some kind of punch which I was kind of expecting (hence adding the garlic) garlic did fall flat however. Mushrooms and spinach were great. Next time I think I will ask for double the garlic and maybe some course ground sea salt and cracked black pepper to boost the flavors. Overall food was really good and I would definitely order from Pi Social again as well as recommend it to anyone asking for a good pizza.

Very chill vibe unique to Midland.

It was a very classy setting. They played some of my favorite music! I was surprised. I got the caprese salad, which I enjoyed. Vegetarian options: Fried Cauliflower was so scrump!

This place was AMAZING! This is now my favorite place in Midland. The hostess Evangelina was great and so personable. She stopped by our table so many times just to make sure we were doing okay, being it was our first time and asking how the suggestions she gave us were. The DJ was by far the best DJ I ve ever heard. If you get the chance, get a table facing the DJ because he will definitely put on a show. I enjoyed the mix of music, I think he played every genre. The food was great as well and so was our server. I have to give a 10/10!

Waited by the host/hostess station to be seated and after 5 min they told me I could sit anywhere. The food was OKAY. And the service was mediocre. They have a selection on the menu but I was told I could only order pizzas and garlic knots. Definitely wont return.

The two waiters that assisted us were very kind. The hostess could have been a little warmer, she gave a too busy for you vibe. The serving staff who brought out our food didn t speak at all or if they did it was a murmur. No eye contact barely a smile. Did not ask if we needed anything else with our food, serving staff who were not our waiters at other restaurants have asked if there was anything we would need for our food (ranch, extra napkins, salt/ pepper as there was none at our table). The lack of warmth from the people working there created a weird atmosphere. I ordered a Cesar salad as an appetizer and that was pretty good. I ordered a cheese pizza with basil for my main course. The basil was heavy and kinda started hurting my stomach so I scraped a bit off. My husband ordered a burger. He kept referring to the menu because he doesn t like when too much sauce or veg gets added to the burger, it makes the bun soggy. So when they brought out the burger it had caramelized onions, lots of lettuce and some tomatoes. The sauce or dressing they put did make the bun soggy. He did not eat his food. Our waiter did offer to make him a new one, but he didn t let us know right away. Right after our food was served, my husband let the waiter know he didn t like his burger because it wasn t described that way on the menu. The waiter apologized then walked away, but it took him 15-20 minutes later to come back to let us know they were making him another burger, but I was already done with my food and we were out of time as we had movie tickets for shortly after. We wish the description of the burger mentioned the veg and sauce because had it been mentioned my husband would have requested it not been added to our order. Overall it s a good hang out spot for people looking to drink and socialize, but even the lack of warmth from the staff makes it feel awkward. For a nice dinner date I would not return here the food wasn t that good and of course the staff and ambience is a little uncomfortable. We won t be in a hurry to return again.

Had very very bad service. My pizza was served burned. I asked for extra extra sauce and it barely had any. Noone asked me how my food was for 10 minutes. Some latina bartender walked in on Mar 15 at 8pm and I asked for sauce because my pizza wasnt how I ordered it and it was burned, and she gave me an extreme attitude after I asked. I just got here blah blah blah. Luckily they didnt make me pay for the pizza. Just fyi I am not polite when you dont treat me as a customer with respect. I dont need to be polite when you ignore me for 10 minutes while my food gets cold, and isnt what I ordered, and should not have been served anyway in the burned condition it was in. They should have remade it in the kitchen after seeing how charred it was. I used to come here all the time and recommend it to friends, but this is sub par even for Midland. Good riddance.

The experience was okay at best, I wanted the Nutella and berry crepe and was told I couldn t because they havent even made the batter which was confusing because why would they have it on the menu if they haven t even made the batter

I loved the place but when the shift change at 5.00 we pay out . The new bar tender charge us the beers we had payed and other 2 drinks that were not ours. Over charge 4 beers and 2 jack and coke that were not ours. We paid because no winning there but. Make sure you order your dinks with one bar tender. Apparently they start a new tab.

Well our experience was not good here today, from the time we ordered it took an hour and a half to get our food. It was packed and there seemed to only be one or two wait staff. We were patient and never complained but we were so hungry got our food and it was delicious. Asked for our bill and was told it was on the house. We were very appreciative that we didn t have to complain and Pi social did the right thing without being asked. Will continue to support this great local business!

We had such a wonderful experience the first time we came here. Service was a little slow but the food and drinks were great. Came in today and sat for over 15 minutes waiting to be served. No one even stopped by. One server in particular made eye contact with us at least 3 times and then proceeded to just stand by the bar doing NOTHING. We just left.

After the day I had today at work I just wanted to come in to a nice clean place and eat and have a drink and relax me and my wife but with the experience I had today was phenomenal I felt like my mind was being read to fit the best satisfaction to my expectations all thanks to Mr.Rashad he was a great sever and always has been thanks for everything y all do great place and service.

My best swag friend had not been to PiSocial and so I suggested we meet up here! My time with Chandler is very special to me. He loved the place which made me so thankful! Mikey, our waiter and Enrique the GM was absolutely the BEST! We had the buffalo cauliflower wings!!! special friend, special moment, great food and superb management!!!! A favorite spot for an after work drink paired with delicious lite plate offerings (the BEST charcuterie board presentation complete with fresh fig and seasonal jellies). In addition to the great cocktails and appetizers being offered, their handmade pizza selections are exceptional. The outdoor/open air seating really sets this place apart from the other dining establishments in the downtown area. The Live Music on Tuesday s is also a nice touch when it s not too loud for casual conversation.

Cauliflower wings is technically an appetizer, but I order it as a meal. B&B is also delicious and the pizzas. I like that I can sit outside to eat or at the bar, which has a section outside while enjoying the park. Everyone must try it at least once.

Literally stopped by on the way to an event for a drink. We approached the bar from the outside and sat down. 10 minutes go by and not one employee greets us or takes our order. We got up and left. Place looks nice though

Cool restaurant in downtown Midland. The food and drinks were good, especially the Buffalo cauliflower. Customer service was great. Our waiter, Rashad was awesome! The only negative I have is they charge a fee for using your credit card. Next time I go, Ill be sure to bring cash.

Very clean and organized place. Staff was friendly and made helpful suggestions for everyone. Pizza was way better than any other pizza we had in the area. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out, and plenty of space to move around while in a chair.

I have visited the place twice and on both occasions my friends and I were discriminated against. The first time the waitress completely ignored us for over 40 minutes before telling us that the kitchen and bar had already closed. Today my friends and I gave the place a second chance, we lined up to get a table, the waiters will decide to advance a couple of people before us and then tell us that there were no tables available for us. terrible service. zero inclusive. total discrimination from the staff. Update ---- What happened to this place? Did they start making too much money. Now theyve lost their charm and turned into an old mans swanky olive garden. Way to ruin a good thing pi social. Lost its vibe and its attention to service. Lots of mistakes and no interest in the loner looking for a social place to enjoy a meal. Think Im done. Edit ---- This place is great. Read my review below. But also know this... ***** The Wagyu pie is a lie!!!! Dont waste your money on it. ****** Must try! Atmosphere is laid back and entertaining even when dining alone. Theres a pay to play jukebox and sports highlights playing on nearby big screens. I was surprised they catered to nearly every type. Menu is limited but allows plenty of options. Service is fast and friendly even after a stressful day. I do not dole out bests often, but this place makes old fashions I wish I could make for myself. Great job to Marilyn my waitress and the bartender. Will be back.

Food was sub par. The staff was very rude. The place had low energy, I felt uncomfortable. It all started with me calling and asking for the location and the lady on the phone was rude and didn t help me at all. I had to call twice to find out where they are located. And ended with just bad service over all. Plus the food was expensive. I definitely do not recommend coming here.

I am so sad and disappointed about our first experience here. It was my birthday and we were also celebrating our 2 year anniversary. I called for reservations for 4 at 6:30pm. Right from the beginning they had given away our reserved table and we had to wait an additional 5 minutes for them to throw something together for us. Not a huge deal but nonetheless, it happened. Our server brought us waters and asked what else we d like to drink and brought it out promptly. Since is where it turned bad. Our server asked if we wanted refills after 15 minutes of us there, still hasn t taken our food order. Got us refills 2 times then went about his duties. 30 minutes there and I had to ask him to take our order for our appetizer. 20 minutes later comes our charcuterie board. It was alright, tasted good. My husband, myself and kiddos ate it up fast. Server still hadn t come by to take our order. I again, had to stop him 45 minutes meeting being there to take our food order. He had actually asked us for another refill and when we declined he started walking away but I called him attention and asked him to take our food order. About 20 more minutes passed and what I assume was the manager must have seen how incredibly unhappy my husband was and came and asked if everything was ok. I told her actually no we want to cancel our meal and get our ticket and go. She apologized, and brought up the fact we were celebrating our Anniversary and said at least let me get your complimentary dessert. I said thank you. About 10 minutes later someone came to our table and started setting food down. I said oh I m sorry I tried to cancel this before it came out. We don t want it anymore. We just want the ticket. Lady asked if we wanted to take it to go and my husband and I just wanted to take our kiddos home to eat. It was 8pm now and a school night. She took the food back and the manager came to our table and asked are you sure you don t want to take them to go? They re already made for you. I told her no, we just wanted to leave. She apologized again and said ok. Then 10 minutes later our server came with the ticket and said again are you sure you don t want to take it home? We again told them no, we just want to leave now. He handed the ticket to my husband and walked off. Knowing we were SO ready to leave and my husband had his card out already I m not sure why he walked off. We sat another 5 minutes before I took the keys and my kids and waited in the car. My husband had to flag someone down to take the payment so he can sign and leave. It was SO crowded, SO loud, and our wait overall killed our experience. I wish I could say I d give it another try but we won t. Though the manager insisted we take our complimentary dessert home she still didn t give it to us which would have at least shown some type of care and we would have come back but overall we were not happy with the service on our special day and my birthday.

Best pizza in Midland. Atmosphere is always fun--its never quiet. On nice evenings theyll open the bar to the outside. They sometimes have live music. Dont expect ti have great conversation on those nights.

Made a reservation for Friday night and 30 minutes before my time they called me and said my reservation was canceled. I made it well in advance through Google and they said that it didnt matter that I would have to make it and call them to see if it was available. There is no accountability through the app and this is my 3rd time trying to make it here. Guess its a sign to avoid it entirely.

Walked in with my girlfriend for a few drinks and walked out feeling like we had met up with some friends. There was a great atmosphere and the other patrons were super friendly. The bartender, Gary, was superb and made me a fantastic drink.

Service was sooooo slow, its not even busy.Drink order was slow, wanted to have a few cocktails, with the turnaround of the waitress coming back we only had 2.... bummer. Took 25 mins to get our salad. 10 seconds later got our pizza. The servers sound like robots, no emotion, they just stand infront of the cooks. Would have given one star but the pizzas where AMAZING!!! Too bad, will try them next time.

The wife and I wanted to try something new, so we saw this online. We excitedly drove over to check it out. Got seated and were excited to check the menu out. $15 per individual pizza. Seems pricey we thought. But we chalked it up to it being delicious and a good sized pizza. Yeah no. She and I were looking around at other tables and quickly realized the size of the pizzas you would receive. They were tiny. We ordered ours now with a bit of worry and apprehension. Keep in mind the price in of itself doesnt bother us. We arent cheapskates. Its what we might get for that price that worries us. Our worries were fully realized when our pizzas arrived. They looked good yeah, but once we each picked up a slice we had immediate disappointment. The pizza was so thin!!! There was no fluff or thickness to it at all. Like a stack of 4 pieces of printer paper thin. The size of the pizza was absurdly small for the price as well. Hey maybe the pizza is absolutely fantastic when it comes to taste! No.... not really. We each took a bite and were very underwhelmed. It was ok...OK.... just ok. For that price you should think wow!!! This is great!. Nope. Just ok. The aesthetic of the restaurant was overly fancy for what it was as well. You sell pizzas.... tiny underwhelming pizzas.... why is your place so fancy looking? Im going to guess to give the illusion of this place is great so our prices are totally justified. An illusion to make you think its worth the price. A 40$ ticket later and we left hungry. We each ate our entire pizza, and were still hungry after. Shes 4ft 9 and 90 pounds. If your pizza doesnt make her feel full thats a serious issue. You can go to other places and get better pizza for a lower price. Same thing with their burgers there. $20 for a burger? Get outta here.... Overall the entire experience was highly disappointing. I would give 1 star, but the waitress who took care of us that evening did a great job, so she earned yall a second star.

Really wanted to eat here with my children and it looked really interesting. After being seated which came with its own drama as the hostess was forced to scramble to bus the table. We waited, and waited, and waited .20 minutes without anyone talking to us and all the servers avoiding eye contact. It was very frustrating, so we got up, walked out, and went next door. No idea if anything was good or not.

Their drinks are pretty good and interesting selection of pizzas. The outdoor seating and bar is a great addition to the restaurant. Service was also pretty prompt

We sat at the bar and had a drink and The Hog pizza, which was amazing. An expected delight for Midland. Gary the bartender was definitely the best. Will be back again.

Buffalo cauliflower wings are sooo good also the cucumber martinis are on point!

Way overpriced for what you get...and food was cold and soggy

Finally took order after waiting 1 hour. Ordered bucket mimosas received just the champagne. No glasses or juice untill 15 mins later. When received food. Waffles burnt. My sisters 1 pancake burnt on the outside raw in the middle and potatoes not cooked all the way.. and to top it off. Only 2 waitress for the Whole venue. Horrible.

Looks fancy to hide the fact the food is terrible and highly priced. Good atmosphere but if you come to eat, be prepared to not.

Its cute inside and the old fashioned is good.

I really Like this place, but I ordered a bottle of water because their tap water tastes really bad. (and they did not have bottle of water) Waitress was good but poor guy was in charge of 80% of the tables. (The Pizzas are good)

did not appreciate the service. do not recommend darian or melinda, very rude. sonya was very great. darian lied to us about the menu. be prepared for the menu to change everytime you go (we went 2 in one day).

My wife and I had a great time eating dinner and having drinks after a very long week, but I can t forget to mention our server was amazing. Food was just as the reviews mentioned, very tasty and filling. We were in middle of our service, we were politely asked by a server/bar back to move from our original table to accommodate a party of nine. We were happy to do so. Then finishing up dinner, with drinks in our hands. RUDELY INTERRUPTED BY THE MANAGER(or she claims)! I need yal to move or we can run your card Personally, I thought we were being thrown out by her awful tone. At that moment our nice evening was RUINED and the manager/hostess TARNISHED all of our experience by demanding us to move for the second time. When we decided to move to another table we felt unwelcome and our server was so embarrassed by the way we were talked to by the manager . She tried to apologize after knowing they totally RUINED OUR NIGHT and asked what she could do. We weren t even up from our table and the party of 9 pulled my wife s chair from out table as we said we d help. When I said she tried to apologize, it was NOT even a genuine apology just more of an excuse why she should not run a restaurant. I personally told her that she ruined our night and experience, that personally was my first and LAST TIME supporting the restaurant, and would not be bringing my office back as this is where we meet Houston personnel monthly. Props to our amazing server. Shame on the unprofessional owner. If it s just you and a guest and you don t look the part for downtown midland or have a big bill/party. Don t bother trying to eat her on a Friday afternoon.

Good food, the service is slow though. Also, the music playing through the speaker system is just too loud and not enjoyable because you cant hear the person in-front of you talking. We asked the waiter to turn it down please and the waiter kept saying (What? Sorry What?) because he couldnt hear us and when we yelled it at him pretty much he said they cant turn the music down... funny.. I mean the food is good but the atmosphere is just not enjoyable and its not really a place I think about going back to because of that

Great atmosphere, great food and drinks but the amount of escorts is crazy. It s like being at a shady bar in Vegas. Literally multiple around the bar at all times and no one clears them out. Lame.

Went for a couple cocktails. They where AMAZING. Only issue was i had 2 and my boyfriend had 2 and it was $64 dollars

No great options for vegan food; I hope that changes in time. My bartender, Angela, made a really great Irish Old Fashioned. Then I asked for a NY Sour. She didnt know what it was at first, but when I showed her, she made the best one Ive ever had. Great staff, professional service.
