We had a great time. All the food was good but the fried green beans were great! Great time for all! Wheelchair accessibility: I was able to move around in my wheelchair. But it was a little tight. Automatic doors would be helpful if you were alone.

Very dissatisfied with my bbq chicken pizza. Had very little to no bbq sauce and 2 pieces of chicken and lots of green peppers.

Food was really good I got the steak sandwich which was very delicious and my co worker got the pizza which he said was good. If you get it by the slice it doesnt take very long at all for the pizza to come out and you can get the slice with whatever toppings you want super cool place

Girlfriend talked this place up on our way to get ice cream and go to the park so we stopped in gave it a try and my Girlfriend myself and our 4 year old couldn t finished a single slice it was not good we left the rest of the pizza wasn t worth boxing up the staff was extremely friendly but the pizza wasn t even as good as a frozen digiorno and I m not a huge critic but when you can t even finish a slice it s kinda disappointing especially coming from a man that eats 3-4 slices a meal it tasted sour and the ranch was clumpy service was very nice but the food did not suffice

Stopped in, not knowing that it was right before closing. We were greeted warmly and served incredible pizza with great pizza without a crazy wait. Would absolutely recommend this place again.

My wife and I grew up in midland and pizza Sam s was the go to pizza place. Each time we get a Sam s special it is a little slice of our childhoods. Thank you for keeping the pizza so good.

This was my first pizza in Michigan, and it didnt disappoint. It wasnt too thick, and it wasnt too thin. We got what I believe to be a deluxe with pepperoni, peppers, green olives, onion, and mushrooms. Nice sauce flavor and really good pepperoni. It was a little thicker than the regular pre sliced, and it cupped a little like the cup and char. Id definitely eat Pizza Sams again. Did I mention how quick it came out? It was super fast!

Finished a great day of cycling with a stop at Pizza Sams. My buddy and I split a medium Special and found it to be worth the $15.99. The pizza came out quickly and it was HOT. The crust was crispy on the bottom but still provided a good chew. The toppings were plentiful and the veggies were fresh. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We visited before the dinner rush so it was pretty quiet, but that is fine with me. I look forward to bringing my family in for a visit.

Very disrespectful interaction with the wait staff... Literally said so youre just trying to save a couple bucks as I was trying to teach my 11 year old how to order, as we tried to understand the difference in a kids meal small 1 topping pizza and a small 1 topping pizza. Kids meal small (10) is $8.39 and a small non-kids meal (10) is $10.68. No explanation, just said you get less pepperoni with the kids meal, never mentioned you build it yourself from the kids menu. And STILL charged me the non-kids meal price. Delivered it to my daughter for her to build it herself, we were confused and asked why it wasnt put together and cooked. He said its been something weve done for years. Which is awesome! Except we had no idea. So instead he grabbed it back with no words, went and cooked it, delivered it with no words. Eek. Really just no need for the disrespect. Very unfortunate for a staple Midland small business. From1 small business owner to another, lets represent our community better.

What a great place it was my granddaughters 10th birthday.The owner Im assuming came to our table greeted baby and birthday girl after finding out it was her birthday he gave her a shirt and ice cream all the staff were super friendly I highly recommend.

During our day trip to Midland to visit Dow Gardens, my daughter and I stumbled upon Pizza Sams for lunch. What began as a simple meal turned into a memorable experience. The online reviews didnt do justice to the magic we encountered. Upon ordering my daughter a kids meal, we discovered that it wasnt just any ordinary pizza; it was an interactive adventure. The staff kindly provided her with all the ingredients to craft her own mini pizza right at our table. Watching her delight as she spread sauce and sprinkled cheese was priceless. But the experience didnt end there. She eagerly carried her creation to the kitchen area, where she could observe through the glass as it baked to perfection. And lets not forget the extra touch of giving her pizza dough to play with while we waited it was like having our own personal playdough session!! The owners, with their warm hospitality, added to the charm of the place. They took the time to chat with us, sharing stories about Dow Gardens and their passion for pizza. As if that wasnt enough, they surprised my daughter with a complimentary Pizza Sams t-shirt, which she proudly swapped her dress for on the spot. Pizza Sams turned a simple lunch into a delightful event, leaving a lasting impression on both of us. For anyone seeking not just great pizza but also an unforgettable experience with a hometown feel, I wholeheartedly recommend Pizza Sams. Poor customer service. I was craving some pizza and ice cream and was excited for a nice treat. When I walked in the associate behind the register was rude and seemed like I was an inconvenience. There was no one in front or behind me so I don t know what the issue was. However, I still decided to dine in and order food and dessert and thought maybe they were having a bad day. As soon as I got my food and sat down, I saw the manager being disrespectful to one of the associates and unfortunately it was someone with special needs and needed some guidance. As I observed more, the manager refused to help them and was not being very helpful towards the associate.

My husband stopped in for some midday snacks and we were pleasantly surprised by the service and atmosphere. The young person that took our order was extremely kind and patient with us. The wings and green bean fries were delicious. We would 100% get them again.

This was my first time yesterday, 1/5, and it was delicious! The food came out pretty quick, too! I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried the pesto chicken pizza, and that was phenomenal! I also odered the spinach artichoke dip, and it was probably the best Ive ever had, especially the pita chips!

Fast at getting the food out. As in the salad for our table arrived within 3 minutes. The pizza was somehow on the table within 10. Real ingredients, pizza is hand tossed. All very good. Everyone was nice and helpful. Not the first time going. I dont go often. Every time I do this is a great pizza place.

Yesterday was Christmas. And we made a SmithField ham and all the fixins. And of course ham gravy. Well..The ham and the gravy was like eating ham flavored SALT!!!! Today is December 26th. And Pizza Sams has 15 dollar speciality pizzas!! And we ordered a Sams Supreme salad. Gonna be our late Christmas dinner. Thank you Pizza Sams for saving the Day!!! Cuz we are all so hungry . Its a decent menu, food came out fast and hot, I dont love plastic cups and silverware, the prices are a bit steep and lighting could be less harsh.

I have gone here many, many times over the last 2-3 decades. In the last few years I get raw dough on my cheese bread, raw calzone dough in the middle unless specified Well Done (this was not always the case) and if you get a gyro, the meat is crusty and the sauce cups are half-full. If nobody has ordered one in a while, then cut the outside layer and TOSS IT... dont serve it!! I Black-Listed this place with a heavy heart a few months ago and decided to give them another shot. I went to place an order for a calzone and it says COMES WITH up to 4 toppings. Oh, they didnt mean comes with in the traditional sense, they meant you have to pay for anything over 1 topping. Comes with a Ferrari (P.S. Ferrari will add $138,298 to your bill). Terrible management. They clearly are riding on their reputation from days gone past.

Such a cool place! I didnt realize it was so big on the inside! We got their sweet potato fries and they were AMAZING! I would go back just for those! Their pizza is really delicious too and we look forward to going back to try some of their specialty pizzas!

We just came in for ice cream. We were so disappointed! First we stood at the ice cream counter for a while, before someone else came to the register to take our order. Before we were served, the young man served a family that hadn t paid yet! Once we got our ice creams we all asked him if he was sure those were the correct sizes. The portion sizes were extremely small! We have no intention of returning. Midland has so many other places that serve decent size ice creams!

Closed at 8:55pm. . . or 9:00pm. Not a great business model.

Still the most delicious pizza in Midland, MI. And they have a 16 inch XL pizza. Ours was a all meat pizza.

I did not like the pizza. I thought the crust was really good, but the sauce had little flavor. The pepperoni had a smoke flavore, which I do not like.

Delicious pizza! The cheese is spot on, as is the sauce. Our order was delivered to the table quickly, and it wasnt too expensive. The kiddos even got a chance to see how pizza is made, and they got a small piece of pizza dough to take home. Definitely worth a visit!

Still after over 60 years they have THE BEST PIZZA AND FOOD. You must go there and experience it!

One of the best restaurants in Midland

Not sure whats going on here...this is by far one of my favorite pizza spots here in Midland. Last night, however, ordered for delivery and the pizza crust was clearly not hand tossed but a pre-made dough that looked and tasted as such. Barely cooked...terrible!! We had been working outside all day and were starving, so there you go. A frozen pizza would had been better and cheaper. Sadly disappointed.

Got deliverey two times now. This time they forgot our salad. Last time gave us sprite instead diet coke. Pizza was amazing as always. Driver did take price salad so we didnt pay for it. We waiting an hour and half for it I was just ready to eat so didnt want the Hassel of going back and forth again. Yard work all day salad would been nice. But its alright. Probably stick dine in though sense delivery been messed up each time we ordered

Flies in the Parmesan containers, try and talk to a manager they don t care at all. Mold on some parts of the wall. This place is nothing like when I was a kid, new owners ruin stuff I guess.

In my opinion, Pizza Sams is in the Top 5 Pizzerias of Michigan. Ive never been disappointed. Had their food ever since I was a kid and just recently during a summer visit last month. Highly recommended. Five stars all the way. Its definitely worth a road trip up north. We custom made our pizza but Im sure if you do any of their menu titles it will be a winner. Great place for the whole family.

Decent pizza but really dislike the format. It s one of those places where you do some of the work but they flip the screen and want tips at the counter when you order. Want another beer or some ice cream after you eat your pizza? Get back in line again!

Pizza Sams is a downtown Midland tradition!! The Superman ice cream is the very best!

Just had Pizza Sam s when we were visiting and it was delicious! We had a salad, cheese sticks, chicken tenders, fries and tried a couple of different pizzas all were excellent and enjoyed by everyone!

I revisited after being gone for a year, and was shocked to walk into Pizza Sams and see that the inside was remodeled, and does not look very good. The historical photos & staff photos (I believe they were staff photos from when they first opened) have been removed and it broke my heart. Tables were sticky, the soda machine had NO syrup for anything except coke & Diet Coke, and I found that the ranch I had loved so much for years has been replaced by something I can only describe as a great value hidden valley ranch and tastes HORRIBLE. The staff were short & while not exactly rude, definitely didn t seem to be in good spirits. I don t know if there are new owners or what but I am extremely shocked by the severe decline in this once beloved pizzeria & my family & I will NOT be returning.

Vegan friendly! I got their Just Plants salad, and although the lettuce wasn t my fav, it was still pretty delicious. They also have a vegan pizza, which I will have to go back to try.

I was attending a birthday party at Dow Diamond. When the game was canceled due to rain, our host called Pizza Sams and asked for a room for our party as well as pizzas. Their back room was available, and they had pizzas ready by the time we arrived. The party was able to go ahead. Kids had fun, and everyone was fed. They came through for us very nicely. Good job, guys!

Ordered 4 pizzas and left $10 tip for pickup. Pizzas were right on time and toppings were spot on except for the sauce. There was little to none. This has been an ongoing issue with Pizza Sams for last couple years. If you lift up the cheese you struggle to find any remnants of sauce. Very frustrating. Someone needs to train their staff.

They said it was going to be an hour, they showed up in 26 minutes! The pizza is loaded with toppings all the way to the edge. We arent from around here but wish we had this back home. Delivery guy was very good. We will definitely eat this again!!

This is my best friends favorite place to go when shes in from Florida. So when she came in, we stopped in for a pizza. We had salad with it. Both were very good. Very nice staff and fast service. Would recommend.

Stopped by at an odd time, 2:30 pm on a Monday. I had never been to Pizza Sams , but saw the positive reviews and wanted to give it a try. We were greeted right away by someone behind the counter who was very knowledgeable about the menu. We got an appetizer, salad, pizza, and bread sticks. All were very good! Pizza was hot and the thick crust was done just right. Plenty of toppings on the pizza without it being overloaded. Good dressing options for the salad too. If I had to choose one thing to change, Id say I wish the marinara sauce for the bread sticks was warmed up, but it was definitely not a problem. I look forward to returning again! I was basically turned away from inside another pizza joint because I didnt care to order on line... Drove to Sams, they were happy to make my take out pizza. Tasty little pepperoni and sausage. Good sauce, good dough. I live in Pittsburgh and only get here once a year or so but Sams is my pizza place when Im in town. Awesome! Parking: Not familiar with the downtown area... Parking wasnt plentiful as it seemed busy. I did find parking fairly close, so not a big deal but worth noting.

This place was great! Someone in my party picked it, and I was so happy they had a completely vegan pizza and a completely vegan salad with vegan cheese and vegan sausage! It was delicious! Lots of other fun things too- cinnamon breadsticks, sweet potato fries, fried green beans delish! And great service! Just a great place all around! Wow we was so disappointed with our pizza tonight we have never had a pizza this bad ever from sams!!! It was like they just threw it together!! There was 4or5 slices with only cheese on them and the rest of the toppings were just thrown in a pile! The meat pizza was not even close to being kind of round!! The crust was like chewy dry cold crust!!!!!!! And to top it off the bread sticks we got did not even have butter or parmesan cheese on them!!! Just dry bred sticks!!!! I m just shocked how bad it was!!!!!!!!! We are just so disappointed!!!!!

Itd be nice to know what their pizza tasted like. Its been over 2.5 hours and we still havent gotten the pizza. Upon calling they said that its in the oven, which is code for we forgot . We were celebrating the news of cancer-free, but we couldnt get a simple pizza. Not even offered a discount on this pizza. If you want to wait indefinitely for mediocre pizza, go for it. I highly recommend just getting a hot and ready instead. Save $77 and 2.5 hours of your salary.

Pizza wasnt cut, tore it up trying to get a piece. Lets not ignore the screaming child. The next day I was so sick to the stomach, on vacation and couldnt get out of the room, had to have a bathroom close.

First time being there. The place looked clean. The staff was friendly. The food tasted great. Had the large meat madness with a buffalo chicken dip with flakey triangle pastries for an appetizer. If youre looking for pizza for dinner, but are getting a little burnt out on the chain restaurants. This is a good place to think about. I will most definitely be back.

We ate here for an HOA meeting and the service for the private seating area was terrific. The pizza was pretty good too.

Very disappointing!! The pizza was awful! My co-workers got steak sandwiches & they said the meat quality was very poor & no flavor to the sandwich at all. The boneless chicken wings were more like little kids chicken nuggets.

It was very busy, but when I went we had to stand over people who were leaving to get a table. Then we had to ask someone from the kitchen staff to clean up our table. The food was good, but is a bit pricey. I would recommend going here for lunch or dinner on the week days.
