Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill in Midland

The food is decent quality for the price but the amount of fries you get with your meal is criminal. Parking: This Chucks location has parking in the back but it gets really busy quick. You will find yourself parking at the back of the realtor next door with the terribly maintained parking lot.

Very friendly staff and excellent service. They all seem to love their work and do well communicating together. Very noisy atmoshere at the bar area particularly amoungst the regulars and off duty staff. Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming to kids of all ages and lots of curious eyes, love to see them.

Stop in for a quick bite before my son hockey game. Sorry, this food wasnt good. I asked for suicide wings, and I dont even think they were mild. Wasnt to happy. Definitely not going back.

Absolutely great place to go on game Knights can get a little crazy and loud but other than that would recommend this place for anybody and everybody.

My first visit to a Chucks Roadhouse in early November 2024, which just happened to be mid-week, for lunch. Very friendly reception and sevice throughout our meal. The food was good and so was the value. So, A+ Chucks Roadhouse! Ill definitely go back.

We were in around 530 pm on Thanksgiving Monday. We were 4 of us. Chicken fingers for our grandson. He said they were good. Son had burger and onion rings. He said his food was good. My husband had wings and ribs and I had a half rib dinner. Our ribs were actually over cooked a lot of it was burnt. Should have said that we werent happy with our meals. Maybe an off night. We usually love our food.

I had THE BEST surprise birthday dinner tonight! At Chucks in Midland. They took a reservation last minute for 10... ATHE FOOD WAS PERFECT..the atmosphere amazing.. staff super friendly... Im so thankful to everyone who showed up to celebrate me... I didnt expect this.. Im overwhelmed with joy . Kid-friendliness: My kids are nuts... no one blinked an eye... staff came and completely engaged with them ... catered just as much as any of the adults .. I see these things.. impressed beyond

We had a bacon cheese burger with fries because we were in a bit of a hurry. Food was very tasty and fresh and it came quickly. This was our first time there but definitely will go back. Excellent prices as well.

Unfortunately I dont think Ill be returning after tonights dinner service, the atmosphere and attitude of our waitresses have steadily declined. It seems they are more focused on quantity over quality and just pumping food out from the kitchen which is a bummer since we have been regulars since opening day and loved going here but I feel as though we deserve to be treated better than we have been the last 3 or 4 times.

What can I say. I loved it. Tye food was excellent... You will just have to try it for yourself.. Its well worth it.

I really enjoy eating here. I have tried 2 different cuts of steak and both were tender and good flavour. The service is good and the manager i spoke to was very personable. I dont really like the parking situation but thats a minor issue.

Ok. First time not familiar with menu. Not pleased with fries. Server didnt suggest substitutions . Steak was good. Outside patio next to busy street, option is nice out doors. Our choice. Lots of inside seating.

Several servers at our patio table. But each was forgetful. Appetizers delivered after main course. ? Had a drink for 15 mins prior to a straw, but mentioned on delivery forgot the straw. Meal had specifics that were forgotten. I thought they put this info in an iPad as it is ordered. Not sure how it is forgotten . Nice to be outside, even if it is next to a busy street. Are tips pooled, as the only server that came back was the one that took the order but did not bring the food but came back several times to see if we were dont yet. Parking: Entering is confusion as the entrance has cars parked all.along the side making it basically 1 way traffic, but there is not an exit. It is 1 driveway. We used the remax, it wasnt open. It isnt remax responsibility up care for parking spaces or entrances for the restaurant.

The place is always which adds to the atmosphere. Food is great & steak is always done perfectly and you cant beat the prices.

A highly recommended place to have lunch, dinner or a drink. The atmosphere is very cool and the food is really good and reasonably priced. The waiters are wonderful, there was even a girl who spoke Spanish.

Our meal was perfect! Couldnt have been better... Every visit has been better than the last. Tonight we spent the evening on the patio. Very beautiful. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free was not an option. But we were able to substitute the pita for corn chips with the spinach dip.

Great surprise with attentive service and making sure my stake was right. They actually replaced it because it was not up to standard and they recognized it. Kudos to the eve manager and his staff. Will be back whenever in Midland. Now just to check if the other locations are up to this standard.

This is a great place! Reasonable prices and great food! Arrived hot and fresh, free refills on some drinks, and really attentive service! Staff seem happy and keen! We would return!

Now that they have been in business for a while we decided to give them another try. Our experience this time was amazing. As always the service was excellent . The main difference this time was the food. It was excellent. I have found my new wing place finally. My husband is very difficult and loved his double leg dinner and thought the gravy was good. This will definitely be part of our go to places. Original rating 2.5: Taking into consideration that this is a very new location. There were basic issues both of our orders were incorrect and my lobster tail was only partially cooked. They were busy when we arrived and we waited around 20 minutes before being seated even though there were several open tables in the bar area . It took about 40 minutes for our food to come out chicken and ribs and surf and turf. We noticed another table that was seated before us had no menu and drinks while we had drinks and had ordered. They were very apologetic about the food mix up and did their best to make it right for us. We probably won t be back there for a long while.

Have come here a few times for the chuck sized Caesar salad with grilled chicken. It doesn t disappoint! Great service.

Food prices are reasonable, quick service

Sadly our meal last night wasn t up to snuff. Chicken wings weren t very good, too much sauce and a bit tough. Ordered mozzarella sticks - appearance was nice but they were completely hollow when we bit into them. Obviously overcooked. Our server (Jody) was wonderful and returned and replaced them but those were exactly the same. Perhaps the kitchen staff need to review cooking temp and time. Kindly Jody comped those from our bill. This time we dined outdoors due to noise factor inside and the music was too loud so we couldn t converse. We do appreciate the reasonable prices and will return as most of the foods we ve tried before are good.

Prices are super affordable and yet you still get the same great service and food as you would at another restaurant with similar atmosphere. Owner is friendly, professional and approachable. The staff are always smiling and welcoming. I enjoy many items on the menu but surprisingly my favourite is a salad lol, the strawberry pecan salad!!!

Ribs were mushy and not a very good bbq sauce, Caesar salad had next to none dressing on it. Pasta sauce tasted more like bbq sauce. Wont go back there again. No reply from this place. Guess they have my money and thats all that matters to them

Hubby and I had a fantastic date night last night. We showed up at Chucks in Midland around 6:30. The hostess was quick to greeting us and getting us a table. We sat at bar tables which I m never a fan, but very surprised how comfortable they were. Our server was over to greet us and introduce herself within 2 mins. The overall experience was fantastic. Everyone that worked there was smiling and quick at their job. Drinks and food came out fast. We had steaks and they were great. They watched us cut into our steaks and were happy to get us new ones, if we were dissatisfied. We were happy. I highly recommend the strawberry salad to start. Hubby and I split it. It was the perfect starter salad for us both. So good. I had two different cocktails that were not too sweet and that s exactly what I like. Great drink prices. We never had to wait for anything we needed. Service was on point. Overall everything was great. I highly recommend this place. 5 Stars

First time to this Bar & Grill. We were placed on the patio as request but out in the super hot sun. Were we offered water? Nope. We sat there in the hot sun with four different waitresses walking around and not one came to asked if we ve been looked after. We waited for 20 minutes and walked out. Don t expect us to come back.

The Place was so loud we couldnt have a conversation. We had to wait and they dont have an area to wait, we crowded by the door. Most of the food was good, the steak was good but the potato was bland, even though I got the fully loaded. They need flavour, could taste any toppings, I had to add a lot of salt and pepper. Maybe if the potato is buttered with some kind of spiced before topping are added?

Came here with the family from a recommendation by a local. Oh man, this place has it all, the atmosphere, the food, the service, and the price are quite reasonable. Food was delicious (sadly, no photos this time). Chicken was tender, the ribs were falling apart, the burger juicy! Will be back here 110% when in the area. Kid-friendliness: Many families, even birthdays when we were there.

After getting seated on the patio and waiting over 20 minutes a server finally comes over and tells us we are not welcome due to our little 11 week old puppy (didn t make a single peep and everyone else on the patio kept coming up asking to pet her as she cute and was sound asleep). Funny enough they even have a sign up inside saying Animals welcome . Anyone who is considering bringing there dog on the patio give your money to Kelsey s in Midland as they allow all dogs on Patio!!

We happened to be in town for a festival & decided to go to Chucks for a late lunch. There were 8 of us total, the restaurant was clean, great atmosphere. The food was good, everything was cooked well, & tasted great. The service was okay, the restaurant wasnt too busy. We got our drinks quickly & food came out on time. We never got asked if we needed more drinks though, and one of us asked for more sauce & it took over 15min for our waitress to come back with the sauce. She said she had forgotten which I totally understand but it was a simple task she should have done right away to get out of the way. Because then the person who wanted the extra sauce for their meal had to eat the rest of her tenders cold because it took so long for the sauce to come. But other than that everything was good. We live Chucks & will always go back.

UPDATE: Second time here and the 5+ stars is a repeat!! The staff were super attentive and friendly; the shrimp tempura appetizer was perfect. And the NY striploin steak was the most flavourful, tender steak Ive had in my life. Thank you, chef! The atmosphere was very positive, upbeat. Management knows what they are doing here! I cant say enough about the accommodations Chucks Roadhouse Midland made for us to host my fathers 70th birthday dinner. The atmosphere was great, food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. We had a party of 16, the orders were taken as soon as we were ready and the food was served quickly. They topped it off with a free dessert for my Dad :) Huge thank you to all the staff at Chucks Midland!

My family and I have ventured out to Chucks Roadhouse on several occasions - some in different locations, but primarily here in Midland. Ive tried to order something different each time. Thus far, Ive enjoyed the hamburger, the nachos, the chicken fingers and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. The burger was succulent and tasty, the nachos were plentiful, the chicken fingers were tender and juicy - and delicious! - and the Philly sandwich with the au jus was very good. The food has always been delivered in a timely manner, and the servers have always been polite and helpful. The restaurant itself is quite loud - Im not sure how many people it can seat, but its always packed - and there are always a couple of different sports on the big screens that you can watch while you wait. Ive never had to wait for seating to open up before getting seated. My only complaint has been the quality of the fries. They always seem somewhat old and not terribly plentiful. Definitely room for improvement in that regard.

A good restaurant in Midland? Crazy. Food is good, service is great and the place looks really good. Burger is really good and juicy and the filet mignon is hella nice.

The bruschetta flatbread is a definite must try, it is amazing, light and delicious.

Don t get me wrong, I don t typically leave reviews if my service was mediocre. But this time was honestly disappointing. The food was decent, atmosphere great. It was our server that made our experience bad. It first started with asking if a certain dish had dairy in it. The server was quick to say that definitely has dairy in it and then gave us a few more minutes to decide. No problem. The issue was when I checked the website and it said this dish infact didn t have any dairy in it. So when the server came back over, and I asked her to check with the kitchen, she made the same excuse and said the kitchen would 99% say the same instead of just checking for us. No big deal. I get it, it can be stressful to check ingredients on a list during a busy dinner service. The problem we had was her lack of care and respect toward us. Instead of being transparent and open with us about upcharges, what we d like with our meals, etc, she did the bare minimum to communicate with us. Just seems unprofessional. There were a few times where the way our server reacted has us looking at each other like What? . I can t say the service was horrible, and im not on here to get sympathy. But our meal went from what should have been an easy celebratory time, to a less enjoyable experience because of our server. We pay our hard earned money to eat here and we were disappointed. Please go over customer service standards with your servers, teach them to take the time to make customers feel comfortable. When you go to a restaurant, the concern is the customer. Not pushing alcoholic drinks to make more money or worrying about your tip at the end. Would have tipped nicely if our service was nice. Not someone doing the bare minimum.

Midland Location cooks their steaks too rare. Medium rare is closer to blue etc. I love the location and the other food but seems like every time I m there I hear someone complaining about the steak being to rare

I ordered fish and chips - the fish was slightly overcooked - the batter was so hard I could hardly cut it with a knife. It was almost black. The chips were barely warm. I have eaten here many times and this is the first meal I was not happy with.

Waitress was to busy flirting with another table when we were seated so we waited 15 minutes before she even acknowledged we were here. during our meal she brought us our bill (we didnt ask and it wasnt crazy busy) as she set the bill down asked us if there was anything else (didnt feel like she wanted us to order anything else) felt very rushed and like we were being pushed out. Also first time Ive ever had a waiter not return to the table to inquire about the meal before bringing the cheque.

The food was good typical chain style restaurant food the service was very good as it has a big open dining room the only thing that gets me is the honest to goodness charge the say it is to keep the prices low but when you look at them after that charge it s the same as other chain style restaurants

This particular Chucks in Midland was great to attend to. Our server was talking with us like we were all friends which I find to be a lovely approach. The food was great and even when one of us patrons decided they didnt like the food, she took it off our check and got them something else. Lots of families in the restaurant as well. Great food at great prices. Only real complaint is our server this evening would not accept a health card to serve drinks why would a bartender or server refuse a valid form of government identification? I asked and they said they just aren t allowed . Stupid rule. I ve never had a health card declined as a valid government ID . My boyfriend even showed his health card (before I asked why they don t accept it), so it s not just a me-issue. It s just an issue with the servers not accepting health cards? Do better lol. What if a paying customer does not have a license and that is the only form of ID that they carry? That s a loss of business from that customer. Thankfully, my friends and I all have some form of drivers license, so we could all get our drinks.. Oh, they were also out of shot glasses?? When you sell cheap drinks, you ve gotta have those on hand. Not just for serving shots, but for pouring shots into cocktails as well.

Its Chucks. Get the steaks. Thats the best part, and the cheap beer. Best place to take your family and get a decent steak and a beer without breaking the bank. Definitely a place to go to beat inflation.

Fish n chips Nacho cheese plater Food

The restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night. It was really busy and too noisy to have a conversation. I ordered steak medium rare and it was well done. Sent it back and the replacement was good. Our waitress knocked over my husbands beer and it landed in the lap of our friend who was with us; also splashed on his Blunestones. Hey, mistakes happen and she was run off her feet. We ordered another pitcher and she said she owed us a beer. It never came nor did we get a refund for the spilled beer. The glass was full when it was knocked over. The calamari is an appetizer I usually enjoy but it had a real fishy taste. They need to change the dip to an aoili - sweet chili sauce is not a good fit. Would not recommend the calamri. Update: I was asked to forward information about this experience by email to management which I did on March 28. I expected to hear back, nothing as of April 8 even after a 2nd follow up email and still nothing and its now April 21st. Dont expect great customer service.

Finally came to check out this restaurant for dinner and was not happy with our experience we waited 15 minutes for a server to get drinks the beer was skunky ordered spinach dip and came out watery and the pita burnt and hard as a rock we decided to leave to go to a different restaurant won t be back

I did not have the greatest experience here unfortunately. After hearing so much good stuff about it I was looking forward to dining here. To start there was a 30 minute wait to be seated. It was unbearably loud, I could barely hear the people I was sitting with talking. I ordered a veggie Burger that was advertised as beyond meat Burger. It arrived and was definitely not beyond meat (I eat it often enough to know it has a distinct taste and texture),and it was burnt to a crisp and did not come with the ranch sauce as it said on the menu. My fiance ordered the half chicken and was served a plate of ribs, which took another 15 mins to replace with the chicken. The server was really nice and make the experience decent, aside from that it was a terribly dining experience. I dont think I will be back to this location.

This roadhouse still has pretty good food but they are definitely involved in shrinkflation, the portions are much smaller than they used to be.

We arrived around 5PM the place was packed but we were seated quickly. Our waitress Sabrina C, was prompt with greeting us and taking our order. Our drinks were served almost immediately and our food not long after considering how busy the restaurant was, we were impressed. We all enjoyed our meals, even our picky children. 5 stars all around, our new favourite spot!

Went for dinner tonight at chucks for date night. This was our first time there and have to say it was amazing. Great food , Great service and the prices are great. Had the double chuck buger and fries and the steak and lobster tail. Everything was cooked perfectly. Burger was so good and fries are great to. Also had two drinks as well. 100% go there if you havent been yet. We will be back for sure

Our experience was not good from the beginning. When our server first came to the table and was asked about what alcoholic drinks they had her response was she didnt know because she doesnt drink. Her job is to know whats on the menu. The Ceasar I got to drink tasted very watered down. When it came time to order our food I told our server about my anaphylaxis allergy - she was very flippant and uneducated about it. We asked her a couple of times to check my order with the kitchen and she just seemed annoyed. She again came back, could not tell me if my food would be safe, and was uncaring about the allergy. My husband got very upset at her attitude and asked for the manager - again she just seemed angry. When the manager came over he explained there are nut products in the kitchen and the ingredient list he had for the food was from 2018 - thats 6 years ago!!!! Why would the powers to be give a brand new location a list that isnt up to date? If the servers attitude had have been different and she was able to relay the information in an informed way, as the manager did, my review would have been very different. We asked the manager for the bill for our drinks (2 alcoholic and 2 pops). He did not even offer to compensate us. We paid the bill and left. We wont go back. There are so many food allergies that are life threatening, to have staff uneducated and rude is unacceptable. We have been to other Chucks locations and never had this kind of experience. Dietary restrictions: The server was uneducated and uncaring.

great food at a great price... didnt like the table we were sat at because of the height. Asked the waitress if we could move and she happily put two tables together and move us GREAT service... Thanks

Sat at the bar ordered nachos that were horrible , bartender was too busy flirting with males at the bar to check to see how our food was . Then when we complained we were told the food had come out a while ago and basically to bad !! So no food for my husband ! Manager was extremely rude as well! Won t be going back there again we will be sure to spread the word about our experience!

Iv never had a problem with chucks, great food, and services so far I feel like they could take most the customers from others. Especially if they did a (half price wings to add to the menu) most places do them on Tuesday Thursday I believe. Excellent atmosphere, food was plentiful & delicious. Server was courteous and attentive. All around great evening. Gets busy quickly & they do not take reservations. They could use more space for parking We will definitely be back ! Parking: Parking was limited, there isnt any handicapped parking. Very tight getting in & out.

Food was great, service was just okay until it was time to pay. The bill came to about $70 or so, (paid with a $125 gift card) and the waitress asked how we were going to tip, cash or card. She didnt even ask how much, she just walked away with the card and didnt come back..

Parking: Small parking lot for this busy location, the parking lot was crammed, and people were just parking where they could. Food

We were told the prices were great but disagree. Our bill came and I noticed there was an Honest to Goodness fee of 3 percent. Apparently this is to keep their prices low while providing good quality food. Didnt notice anything that advised if that charge. I have never been to another restaurant that upcharhed for getting mashed or baked potato instead of fries. Want gravy on those mashed? More money. $3 extra to mashed with gravy. All that in consideration, prices are no better than any where else. Doesnt seem very honest to goodness to me.

Awesome new restaurant in town. Great prices and exceptional service. Had the rib eye, and it was great. The appetizers, desserts, and drinks were great too.

I tried this restaurant to see what the hype was about & support a new chain coming into Midland. They don t have an actual bar where they make drinks and when I got served my margarita I knew it was canned (as I have drank many margaritas in different restaurants) the people I went with also took notice of how it wasn t made by a bartender, but that audacity to charge it for $5.99. They did not inform us there was an extra cost to substitute for sides. I think it s etiquette to at least mention it & then let your customer ask how much, don t you think? that ll be an additional charge of xxxx would that be okay for you? Don t forget about the honest to goodness fee of 3% that no one mentions or it being advertised?!

Its the place to go! Great service and food is always fast. And perfectly cooked.
