Great food and excellent service! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! Not sure if that was the chef or the owner even came out and checked us! We visited on Thanksgiving and they were open! That really saved us and we appreciate it a lot!

🏠A restaurant where “mi casa es su casa”- lots of regulars known by name and sharing camaraderie, as an out of town er this was very wholesome to witness. 🌯 VEGETARIAN OPTIONS! I enjoyed 3 different kinds of veggie burritos and chilaquiles. The beans and rice were so 🤤 🇨🇺 Alex the owner is from Cuba and word has it there’s a secret Cuban menu. Otherwise, his menu includes all the best from 🇲🇽 I went there multiple times while there on work when I typically try to go to places only once. That says a lot.
Perfection! Fluffy rice, perfect beans, fabulous everything. Mexican soul food. The epitome of Mexican food is the Rosa plate -- I think it's called-- with relleno, tamale, taco and enchilada with beans and rice. They don't put the prices on the menu which I always hate, but $13.99 was great for fine dining. I've never been much of a fan of flan, but the flan was sublime, astronomically better than any other.
I do not know why this place wasn’t packed! The staff was friendly and quick. I had the bisteca. The meat was crazy flavorful and cooked with fresh onion, jalapeño and tomato. Even the rice was a step above. The sign lights weren’t on and the place was hard to find in the dark…that’s the only possible way you could overlook this gem!!

Excellent Cuban food. Without a doubt, I recommend visiting this restaurant that is unknown to many. The waitress who provides service must fully know the Mexican menu even if she is Cuban, this will allow her to provide a better quality service.

El Buen Paladar is a restaurant that the best thing it has is its food, we ordered rice congri with pork ribs and yucca with its mojo, everything was delicious, authentic Cuban flavor, the attention we received was special, their prices are very good, their Hygiene is good and so is the atmosphere, we will return!

Chilies Rellenos were delicious. Probably in top 5 in Midland Odessa area. Homemade tortillas... very good meal, server was most excellent (tea never went empty). Ill be back.

Everything was unbelievably fresh and equally delicious. Would most definitely recommend. Family environment, nice hispanic atmosphere and music. English and Spanish speaking family owned restaurant. Loved it. Had the shrimp cocktail and tacos de carne asada.
The food is very good , I got the chilaquiles en salsa verde. Service was great will be be most definitely to try out other plates. Most definitely give the place a try.

Delicious!!! We happily found el buen paladar today and it was sooo good! The chips were the crispy fresh ones and the salsa was amazing. My husband ordered the barabacoa and I ordered the Chile relleno. Both highly recommended! We will definitely be returning!

Midland needed such a place. If variety is the spice of life, this place is it. Chicken fried steak, like in the old days, before everyone tried their own concoction. I like it!!!

The huevos rancheros were delicious, portions very generous and Sauls service was very friendly, Of course!! Serving breakfast all day and Topo Chico will only bring us back for more. Excellente!!!
