The food was good, but they charged me a convenience fee for credit cards when I paid with cash. The waitress didn't know how to take it off. I left her a 1.00 tip on a fifty dollar ticket. She kept arguing about the fee when I told her that's for credit cards and I am paying cash.
We went to dinner tonight and took my mom we had such a great experience! The vibes were fantastic with the Christmas lights outside and the fantastic decor and ambience in the restaurant. The food was amazing! The cocktails were yummy and creative. Best part was the service! We felt spoiled and this is why we always have Little Bohemian at the top of our list for a night out!
Who would’ve known the corner of a busy street in Midland city would be so amazing and beautiful. Takes me away from reality with scenery, drinks, and amazing service. So glad I pulled the door. Made my night complete. Visit any chance you get. I love this place.
I have eaten at most places in Midland and have never had the lack of professionalism that I’ve received at Little Bohemian. We’ve tried and tried again to make this place a regular spot for us but have not been able too. I’ve taken my parents here and the service was so bad that they finally offered us a gift card which we used recently and the service was even worse. After waiting 6 months for Little Bohemian to figure it out, we unfortunately came back, not only did our appetizer come out 30 minutes late, they brought out a main dish and left it at our table and played it off as a “comp”. We ordered simple entrees and it took 35 to 1 hour for our food to come out. This is a great spot for downtown and is being ruined by what Midland wants to rid itself of the most.
After “giving this place a try” 5 different times, I can no longer return to Little Bohemian. The service, kitchen timing, and owners attitude is awful each time. After taking my parents to dine here, the service was horrible and took ~1 hour to get simple entrees in front of us. We brought this issue up to the owner and she did not see anything wrong and had an attitude with the entire table. Luckily, the kind staff provided a giftcard in hope we would return. Stupidly, we returned to use said giftcard and this was a great mistake. We ordered one of the “tapas” which took over 30 minutes to make and was not cooked to a 5 year olds expectation of tapas. During this waiting time, we had ordered multiple drinks and our entrees. After the tapas took forever, the staff randomly brought out another entree (?) as an apology for the wait. I have never been to a restaurant where they bring out a random and unwarranted entree as a “comp.” Typical restaurants would remove the tapas from the ticket, or drinks, or try to throw in a dessert. Entrees took an additional 20+ minutes before they came out (mind you, all that was ordered was rigatoni and a burger). Dinner was fine and we ordered some more drinks. After dinner, we asked for the ticket and noticed there was an $8 charge on top of 2 double whisky’s and was listed as “fat ice”. We asked the waiter what this meant and he did not know. He then went and asked the owner what this charge meant and she spoke to him. Note, this charge was not listed on the menu OR disclosed to us while ordering by the waiter. Additionally, I did not know it cost so much to freeze water, especially when cube ice molds are $7 on Amazon. If this place wanted to be taken seriously, they should take a page out of Cowboy Prime’s or even McDonald’s book and learn how to be successful. The owner continued to try and get our attention to inform us of this charge. While Little Bohemian remains in business, for now, always expect a long wait for drinks/food and attitude from the owners. Overall, I CANNOT wait to see what business replaces this one!
We have been here a few times before and the food has always been good, but service was a little lacking. That was not the case last night, we probably had the best waiter in Midland. Food was phenomenal and the cocktails were SO GOOD, especially the tequila old fashioned. We will make this a more frequent stop in our rotation. Spoke to the owner to tell her we had such a good experience and she was so sweet.
SOOO delicious and i’m not even a chicken person like that. it can be short staffed in the kitchen but idc it was delicious! drinks were 7/10 the lychee martini was the best out of all the ones i tried (espresso martini, strawberry fields & we got a house complimentary shot of idk what flavor but its what they give on bdays)
Now this is a place to take the wife for a special night. You know we can't just do Road House every night. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was a little more elegant than most places. The servers were very professional and the food was professional in appearance. Now the drinks were not cheap but they were legit in quality!
The place is nice but the food was cold and had no flavor, the food comes out separately with larger groups and it took 2 hours for food to come out
Bro no. Service is terrible. I literally had a server come pour water in my sprite without asking. It s a fake luxury restaurant. Also the pictures posted are out of date. Don t be fooled like I did
I was in town for business and stayed in the doubletree Hilton across the street. Came in for a late dinner and was impressed with the atmosphere, wait staff, food, specialty cocktails, hospitality, gorgeous bartenders who are honing their craft. The two owners who I was lucky enough to meet as they worked the restaurant checking on guests were amazing. Patrick is personable and dedicated to making sure everyone is taken care. Kate is passionate and makes the BEST margarita in Midland, hands down If you are in downtown Midland go check this place out. You won t be disappointed. I will be staying at a new hotel in midland for travels from now after 6 years on just based off the class and quality of this restaurant. Pease go give The Little Bohemian some love if you find yourself downtown #eatlocaleatoften Cheers
My husband and I stopped in yesterday for a quick appetizer and drink. It was our first time visiting Little Bohemian but we will definitely be back! The service, drinks, and atmosphere was top notch. Kate was so friendly and made our experience there wonderful. Thanks Kate!
Found a roach on my dinner plate. I will be contacting the health department.
Ive been fine dining now for just over 12 years. All over Tx Va Nc and a few in-between. Ive noticed several reviews mentioning how slow the service was. The hostess was friendly and professional. My waiter was friendly and professional. The service was indeed very slow. Probably the kitchen. Ordered this shrimp dish with naan and I gotta say, it was in fact the 2nd worse shrimp dish Ive ever had. And Ive had all kinds. The rest of the food was okay but nothing special. Save yourself time and money and go to Cowboy Prime or Wall Street Bar & Grill.
First of all downtown Midland is trying but for a lunch we ordered the deviled eggs and they tasted good but we only got 4 and no decoration nothing like the pictures for 15.00, and a Caesar salad in such a small plate for 15.00 crazy. Really want this place to make it but their prices are a little high. A burger for the lunch menu 20.00 it better be amazing. We probably wont be back anytime soon, and its to bad since we work downtown.
Food is horrible and overpriced!
Deja without the vu, made an amazing drink called the smoke show. After the smoke cleared and dust settled this cocktail hit with touch of spice and citrus coupled with the smoky mezcal. 10/10 would recommend. @guyfieri come check out this upscale dive with shrimp and grits that are rich and delicate for this inland restaurant.
Staying in the hotel next door and listening to their terrible, loud music... keep your garbage inside... noise pollution.
The atmosphere here is amazing and the people working there are extremely nice except the service is slow. I ordered a Cesar salad and a side of fries. The chef and waitress could see the croutons were burned but still served the salad. The serving size for the fries was small for costing $9. They were served cold and stale. I ve been here a few times and the items I get are hit or miss. They do not pay attention to quality or quantity from what I ve observed.
Great pricing. Nice location. Really attentive staff. Its not a lot of food per plate but its really well done.
So initially went in just to sit at the patio to get some work done. Ordered angles wings old fashioned and the jumpo crab crake. Old fashioned was amazing. Crab cakes blew me away, was not expecting anything special. Well it was special, so satisfying. Will definitely be back..... staff was amazing and attentive.
Great place for a drink and snack break!
Our server Spider was great, he was so kind. The bartender who made our drinks, she was amazing. The chefs took their time making the food, which came out delicious. Overall our favorite thing was the music. The music they were playing was immaculate, definitely my type of vibe. We had so much fun!
We loved this spot! Everything was amazing. Cant Waite to come back. Food : 5/5
Aesthetically; a nice place, modern and chic look. Drinks were decent, although service took far too long for being 2 or 3 total tables. Appetizers were on point! Had a group of 6 and all the fish orders took an extra 15 min after others had entrees. I believe the crab cakes were served with a hot dog bun which didn t fit the look of the place. Burger was on point! A few waitresses tended to our table and did a great job. Our male waiter seemed to not want to be there. Overall I would give this place another try. At least for a drink and appetizers.
Waste of time. Sat there at table for 20 minutes and got no service.
I never put up bad reviews but for the amount of money one spends you expect top notch service/ food /atmoshpere. Food took an hour and then had no flavor. Appetizer was pretty much raw. However the atmosphere is trendy and nice. Feels more like a club than fine dining restaurant. The Staff was nice and accommodating, as well.
Great cocktails.
Great cocktails.
I would give this place 0 stars if it was possible. From start to finish, the experience was terrible. It took at least 20 minutes before we could even order drinks and then about as long to get them in a pretty empty restaurant. We arrived at 7:45 and didn t get our entrees until 10. When the meal finally came out, the burger and fries were cold to the touch. We brought this up to the manager and she argued with us saying we were wrong and that it didn t take as long as we said. Incredibly overpriced unless you like paying to be treated terribly and served cold food. Oh and we saw a woman come out of the kitchen holding a dog at one point in the evening. I m no expert but that feels like a health code violation of some variety. Anyway, don t waste your money here. There are plenty of more affordable restaurants in Midland with better experiences and service.
My boyfriend took us out to eat here we had never eaten here before. Service was good, could ve used a little more attendance but she was nice. Drinks we both got were great. The Herb Roasted Chicken and Wagyu Burger were not worth what he paid. Both needed lots more flavor and originality to them. Probably won t be eating here again but will go for drinks.
Just a place for drinks. Menu is not great.
Get the bread service. Just so it.
Delicious!
Their new menu sucks. Please bring back the old menu. This place was my husband and I s absolute favorite date night place. Everything we ordered was always amazing and consistent every time we went. Until they changed their menu. We miss their old menu so much. Probably won t come back after this menu change. They took off alllll the great things off the menu!!! The taste of their filets are different, no more yummy compound butters, no more yummy tuna rice cakes, and a limited dessert selection now. There were still good things from their new menu, but their new menu is 100% not an upgrade. The cocktails are good, but small. Their crab cakes were amazing and their chocolate torte was really good. But their old menu was to die for.
Angus Steak tasted like roast beef. Requested medium rare and it came out the perfect color but the cut of meet was just like roast beef. Not tasty at all. Appetizers were soggy and flavorless. Bread was stale. Everything over priced way over what it was worth. Unless they cut their prices by 75% I would not recommend this place. Tables are crowed together as well and really messed with the vibe of the place.
If you haven t tried the lobster roll for lunch, you re missing out! Dinner has also been great the 10 or so times I ve been.
Super recommended, a pleasant atmosphere, excellent staff, excellent dinner with chef Mario at night, exquisite dishes.
Owners are fantastic, atmosphere is amazing, food is phenomena! I m not sure how this place has 4 stars when everyone was absolutely amazing. Visit this great place!
Such a fun atmosphere! Not only do they have good food and drinks but they play good music. The lychee martini is amazing. And there s people of all ages so it s super welcoming. 10/10 recommend.
The food here is fantastic. I was on a business trip with my manager, and we met Eric Freidline, the creator of the new menu and the wonderful executive chef, Maurice Fleming, cooking the food. The atmosphere is amazing, very classy, but laid back, and the service is amazing. It looks like a high-end place, but the vibes I was getting were casual/formal type. The NEW menu is attached, which was created a couple of weeks ago (give or take). I tried the 8oz Wagyu Beef Burger (medium well), which was very delicious, and their Parmesan fries. I had the La Bella Prosecco Rosé for my choice of wine and for dessert, the Butterscotch Bread Pudding. This place is highly recommended even if youve been before or first time going. The hours are confirmed and correct, but I was told by one of the staff members that Friday and Saturday at 11p, the kitchen is closed, but the last hour until 12a is cocktail hour.
Great food and service!
While the food was exceptional, there were notable shortcomings that need addressing. Despite having a reservation, we waited for an hour past our scheduled time. If the restaurant cannot honor reservations, its best not to offer them. Additionally, a member of our group found a piece of plastic in their plate, which was concerning. All-in-all our dinner experience took 3 hours. On the positive side, the kitchen deserves praise for their impressive culinary skills. The steak and seafood options were by far the best in Midland, with great flavors and presentation. The owners responsiveness and hands-on approach were commendable. For Little Bohemian to become a Midland dining staple, service improvements are crucial. Long wait times and quality control issues need attention. The average cost per person for an appetizer, entrée, and cocktail is around $80, reflecting the high-end pricing and the experience should also be high-end.
Amazing place! Delicious food!
The food was delicious!!! The service was phenomenal! The scallops were seriously amazing!!! I never like the midland water at restaurants but their water was soooo good!
Perfect date night spot. Very intimate location, seating is a bit tight, so be prepared to get a little friendly with the table next to you. Love the aesthetic when you walk in. Drinks were nice and stiff. Perhaps most importantly, the food was delicious and were served in generous portions. I believe the food was priced pretty well given the experience and portions, although some may think the pricing is on the higher-end. Will certainly be back.
My wife and I had a great lunch today at Little Bohemian. Great food, service and atmosphere! If you our looking for a great new restaurant to experience, we definitely recommend Little Bohemian. Will be back! Russell and Beth Dominguez
Beautiful restaurant! The food is exceptional! Well definitely be back to try everything else on the menu!
Incredible food in Midland Tx. The quality was top notch, well prepared and served with care. I m very excited that this exists in our area, it is much needed. Reservations are necessary as the restaurant is quite small.
Beyond sub par. Any rating higher would be a lie. We came there with a party of 8. We waited for 1.5 hrs before we even received a drink from the bar. Zero explanation on why the service was so slow and no apology. Very over priced menu for mediocre food. I would give a higher rating for Whattaburger. Do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great place, great staff, great environment, but the food. Thats the gem of it all
Amazing good! Awesome service
I want to like this place so bad . But I can t. It s just a drinking place and even the drinks are so slow. Food on a Wednesday night??? Forget about it! Haha as always I ll try them again (not in a hurry) and adjust rating as appropriate. I think I just had another birthday waiting for the food.
Good food. Great cocktails. 80s synth as music. Pricey but so what.
This place was amazing! Hands down the best filet steak in town, maybe in the state! And I am a serious critic. Going back tonight just to make sure again. Great service, beautiful atmosphere, fantastic drinks. My new favorite place.
Little Bohemian is an elegant restaurant very well located on W Wall Street and Loraine St. Its atmosphere is slow and calm, (nice) nice place on the corner to spend a good time outdoors drinking some cold beers in peace and silence, the The attention that the waitress offered us was kind and enthusiastic, I really liked the harmony I received here, we will return!
I arrived at 1:30pm and found the host on the phone. After several minutes she asked Can I help you. I said, I m hungry. She stared at me for a really pregnant pause and said, Would you like a table then? I looked around and saw a bunch of suited individuals with drinks. No food in sight. I said, No, I guess not. I walked about a block and ate at Cancun Grill.
Great place to go for some drinks and tasty food. The service was great and the music was very upbeat. The chef was kind enough to let me take a picture with him, I highly recommend
Great atmosphere and service!
My expectations were high going in and this place truly blew me away. Great food, great drinks and our server was amazing. The bartenders were having fun and even though it was a packed house we never had to wait for a drink. The staff were all very attentive and made it a fantastic dining experience. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting a nice meal in Midland!
Had a club sandwich they subbed breakfast potatoes for chips and let us order a burger even though it wasnt lunch yet. Very good food, excellent service. Will go again
Everything was amazing !!!!! I give it 10000000 stars Andrea took amazing care of us & the food was AMAZING !
That is precisely what Midland needed!
Oh wow, where to start? There were two of us and we sat at the bar top. Immediately, we noticed that the bar smelled like someone had wiped it with a mildewed rag. The drinks were okay, but overpriced for what you got. As we waited 30 minutes for our appetizers, we could smell the fishy smell of the food around us, a sign that the fish is not fresh. We ordered the deviled eggs, which were good, but missing a key component that was advertised on the menu. We ordered the crab cakes, which was a mistake. They were obviously using frozen, packaged crab and the crab cakes were over-fried and tasted like grease. We also ordered the tenderloin samosas. You know that taste when you leave something in the freezer too long? Yeah. That s what they tasted like. The meat inside was bland, but the only thing we could taste was freezer burn. We didn t order entrees because of how bad the appetizers were. So for two drinks each and three appetizers, the bill was $121 before tip. Two of the three appetizers were too bad to finish. This is not fine dining. This is the quality I would expect from Chili s on a slow night. I m offended at how much they charged for food that was frozen, and over-fried. In good conscience, I cannot recommend this to anyone.
Horribly slow and very expensive.
Total disappointment. We were super ecstatic about trying this little bohemian but it will definitely be the last. Hostess was too preoccupied with her phone when we entered and was rude to us making faces. We were sat, however, we were not acknowledged for another 10 minutes. Drinks were received roughly 15-20 minutes after we ordered, definitely not worth the wait. Way overpriced food, drinks, and service provided, do not waste your time or money. Management/ownership seems not to care. It explains the horrible experience provided. Sad to see a great location go to waste
Service was fine. The food was not very good. Got the Burger with black garlic aoli. It was bacon flavored and had some mayo on it. All I could taste was bacon. It was dissapointing that there was no fermented garlic flavor. The fries were ghastly, dry, stale hollow remnants of a slice of a potato. They came out cold.
We made reservations and it was cold that day. We were seated right in front of the door so when people would walk in and out, all We could feel was the cold draft coming in. Then the smell hit me right away. A fishy dirty smell. I could not eat at all. I was like yuck. My husband ordered the short rib which look like it had been sitting all day waiting to get eaten. He was not impressed. We ordered drinks not impressed. The waiter never checked on us to see if we needed anything or more drinks. Never again. Not worth it.
I was excited to try this new restaurant, and it was a total letdown. It was just a horrible experience overall. The service is really slow, and the food tasted ok, but you do not get what you pay for. This was a one-time for me, I wont be back. If you are thinking about this place, pass on it and go to Opals Table around the corner.
Gem in downtown midland! I don t even know where to begin! This place is absolutely amazing!!!!!!! We took our office staff for a Christmas party this year and this place did not disappoint. Place is beautiful and quint. Top notch service and staff. Food was phenomenal! I can t wait to come back. Don t let on this place! Perfect place to enjoy a nice date night or brunch! I wished I took pictures of all food and drinks we had but I was to busy enjoying everything. Dinner party size 28, . All of our staff enjoyed this place and couldn t believe it s right here in our own back yard!
We went there last night for a Christmas party! The appetizers were amazing! The lobster tacos and lobster mac and cheese were my favorite! I had a mint mojito and rhapsody cocktails and they were perfect
Great drinks, food, & service. We went with a big party for dinner & they were very accommodating & everybody thoroughly enjoyed it! We have been for brunch a few times & it s our favorite spot in midland now!
Save your money, this place is not worth it. Waited 45 minutes in a deserted restaurant for a medium cooked wagyu burger. What arrived was a dry, grey mass. After informing the waitress of the food, we were told food is not usually this bad, but we did get a new chef . We must have missed the chef with the good cooking because this was not it.
One of the WORST restaurant experiences I have had in Midland. Took an hour for two wagyu burgers while restaurant was empty at 1pm.. the burger was requested medium, it was highly overcooked and dry, essentially burned. Buns were charred to a black, lettuce was wilted and very soggy.. all this for $50 dollars per person. OVERPRICED, BAD DRINKS, BAD SERVICE, TERRIBLE FOOD.. save your time and money Asked for truffle fries with my burger so they used the excuse that they were looking for the truffle oil to justify why it took an hour to bring the food.. *They didn t have truffle oil for fries but still charged me for them. Also had deviled eggs, and chicken sliders.. both were ok as appetizers but once again overpriced for what you get. I would NOT recommend.. Also, if the owner reads this, you need to stop posting FAKE 5-star reviews..
Food is above average in ways but not very good in others. Both times a lot of it was either too salty or overpriced for what we received. It seems we also, in part, paid for the experience but it is kind of obvious the system there is not super efficient which leads to awkward conversations with the server. Multiple times. As someone who has waited tables before, I know this isn t usually all on the server, especially if it happens each time you go there. Opals kitchen and Pi Social are on the same strip there on wall street, those are great options.
