Rosa's Café & Tortilla Factory in Midland

We ate there yesterday, 11.7.24. Food was on point. The carrots cake sizes keep getting smaller and smaller. This used to be the only reason Id go eat there. My husband actually bought me a piece of carrots cake just because I wanted one, but since the pieces are half the size they used to be, its not worth the money. Our meals were okay. They were hot and had a good flavor. The girl at the front register was sick and coughing, though. My husband and I barely got over this last week. Hope we dont get sick again. They should offer PTO for those who get sick so they dont have to work. The rest of the workers speak a different Spanish (Cuban or Puerto Rican maybe?) dialect and do not acknowledge customers at all. Kid-friendliness: They have several kids friendly choices. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, it is accessible.

Delicious tacos and lots of different types of salsa to choose from.

I love Rosas. Good food for affordable prices! It hit the spot for lunch.

Was told that they ran out of what I ordered so they were gonna have to cook some more. 30 minutes later still nothing had to ask how much longer was a rude response and finally received my food after that.

You just cant go wrong with Rosas cafe, great flour tortillas and steak

Rosas is what it is, usually crowded and hard to find a table but food is always good and the empty tables are always clean. Sopapillas are a must so don t forget to get an order (or two, or three). Staff are usually friendly, not overly but never rude so that s a plus. You know why you go when you go, busy spot, quick food and pretty decent food. And yeah the kids love it! So not saying anything anyone else already knows, get in and get out and be full and be merry. Vegetarian options: Just don t order the meat on most plates.

The last 2 times I have eaten at rosas, I noticed the ground beef taste different, it has a really terrible aftertaste. I had to ask other family members if they were tasting it too and they agreed.

Loved their beef fajitas. Order a burrito, and I got a lot this time. Normally theyll give you a small amount.

I live out of state and every time I come to visit it is the first place I want to go and eat it is still delicious just how I remember tho it has become a bit pricey

My sour cream enchiladas was the worst I ever tasted, I eat this 4 times a week at least and the sauce tasted awful and had the wrong chicken , I hadnt being in that rosas in a while so I got my money back and just eat my chips and quest, so hopefully they will fix it

Fooled me once shame on me. Bought 2 burritos and 2 tacos. Exact same portion and size. Only difference was the price. Went to ask why they sell it like that she said that s just what they do. Don t buy their burritos buy their tacos

Very unprofessional. Our number was paged and went to get out food but it wasn t even ready. Waited 10 mins for my food because it wasn t ready. We asked them why page if it s not ready? Well they couldn t answer us so they had to find someone else to answer us and the lady told us they paged the numbers early so it looks good on them. Well it doesn t look good to have a line of guest waiting for their food after they been paged. There was like 5 other guest standing around waiting for their food. I understand that they want to be in a certain time frame but wasting guest time waiting for their meals isn t the solution.

Enchiladas Chile is not real. Probably canned. Each sopapilla is the size of 1/8th of a flour tortilla.

2nd visit at the chain and it was nothing but disappointment. ordered the smothered burrito and a beer. first off... beer was almost 6.00 .. I didnt realize I was at a night club??? and when I got burrito.. the whole thing was like warm at best. tortilla was cold and chewy, filling was slightly warm as was the topping. .. I think Im their effort of speed... the food quality is sucking. .. my thoughts.. be prepared when you go that no visit may be the same twice.. and honestly.. the first one wasnt that great either. I likely wont come back... waaayyyyy too many other choices nearby

The food is fine, it s Rosa s you get what you get haha. But the lady working the drive through at this location this morning is rude and impatient. The guy working the window was super nice though.

Food was ok. I wanted pork tamales but they were out and I had to settle for chicken. The staff barely speaks English. The employees working the counter / register barely speak any English and if you try to talk to any of the staff cleaning the dining room they just stare at you. The dining room is typically full of loud / screaming kids.

I ordered the beef fajitas plate. I got three small pieces of beef and half the plate had lettuce and tomato and cheese and sour cream. The beans looked like a dog threw up and the dried up rice that had zero flavor small portions mind you. Then the employees were giving out wrong orders and making wrong plates for customers. There wasn t even that many customers in the restaurant. lol restaurant no more like an upscale Taco Bell. I m not even exaggerating. The price for that ridiculous food and a $5 tea was 29 dollars. The salsa bar holy smokes more like a tomato sauce buffet with nats and flies. No and whoever posted that they have homemade tortillas is dead wrong. What they have here is paper thin tortillas from the heb bakery

Always great! Everything. It helps if you speak a little Spanish if you need something. The manager there is always busy helping the staff. I saw a great team. The migas bowl is soooo good; I thought it needed more chips in it, though. I bet I can order it like that next time!

Its lots of good Tex-mex food, fast and sort of inexpensive. Its not the best youll ever eat but when the kids are hungry, you dont have a long wait. Theres more than enough food and it doesnt bust my budget to feed my family. Dietary restrictions: My wife has Hashimotos thyroiditis but she can eat the taco salad with minimal reactions. Kid-friendliness: Its my kidsfavorite place to eat. They love the parrots hanging from the rafters and the paintings on the walls.

I spent 17.99 and got 5 pieces of fajita meat for the fajita plate. 17.99!! You people are absolutely rediculous. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Rosas is just not the same. The fajitas are all veggies and like 3 pieces of string meat. The nachos are a plate of chips and a drizzle of sauce. The environment has drastically changed. No one can communicate with you.

Canned beans, HEB made paper tortillas, No Carne Guisada!!! Wow!! Not an authentic Mexican restaurant in my experience Carne Guisada is the Epidemy of Real Mexican Cuisine, come on now...

This place is the ABSOLUTE WORST, over priced, employees don t give a crud and you never get the right order and if you do, it s like this!!! This is not a fresh salad. This is a basic taco in a bowl!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I guess that breakfast time staff not friendly associate taking orders was very impatient didnt tell me order number like they normally do, plus their accommodations for disabled parking is not within ADA standards. Should be closest to entrance not across parking lot.

The individual who took my order could not understand a word of English, this is America, you come here, learn English, I ordered two combination nachos and the chips were soggy. Note. Anyone who comes here legally or illegally learn English, it is the language of my nation

The food is always good. The prices are too high considering that you serve yourself for refills or condiments or carryout boxes. I cant eat there as much as I would like bc the prices are too much.

Lots of Mexican food to choose from. Fresh food. Nice seating areas. Their cakes are so good.

Fast and easy

Food was ok. I was looking for real authentic Mexican food as the name of the restaurant attracted me to try it. It tasted more like Tex-Mex food to me. Aside from that you really don t get the service of a server/waiter after you get your food order.

Definitely descent price . Descent service. I will try a different menu option next time I drop by. Nice and clean restaurant.

The food was amazing and the service was great! Really good Mexican food and fast. We only waited a few minutes for our order. I ended up coming back and ordering a large lunch for my entire crew!!

I swear theyre cutting the queso with water to stretch it out longer its so runny its like a cheese soup.

Ordered a breakfast plate the other morning. I ended up throwing the entire plate away. It was horrible. Refried beans tasted and looked like canned chili. The eggs and steak were full of water and covered in WAY too much low quality cheese. They had asked me if I wanted my potatoes spicy so I said yes. My soggy half cooked potatoes were tossed in a cold picante sauce. Everything was just terrible. Hope they can do better for their customers. I personally wont be back.

The place is very nice, but unfortunately the customer service is terrible, one talks to them kindly and they dont even respond, I think they should improve that, be very friendly

Super crazy fast! Fantastic beef fajitas, and bomb tortillas!

I usually like rosa s food but sometimes gross things like parts of a metal dish sponge end up in the burrito or the potatoes are old as hell. The manager was nice and offered a free burrito, but I might not go back for a while.

Honestly this will always be the best Rosas out of the four we have in town. Quick,good, and high quality service.
