Very nice bistro worth the search to find. Maybe some signage in the building lobby would make it more clear. Homemade salsa was delicious addition to my omelette. Way better than hotel food. Give this place a try.

Went early on a Saturday, otherwise parking would have been a challenge. Its real small but the owner said he was expanding his space. Food was okay, ordered hashbrows got fried potatoes. I wont go back.

The food is great! Probably the best taco I ve had in town. But EVERYONE knows and shows up at once. It would be great if they knocked down a few walls to have more space and more staff.

We ate here after a swim meet, wanting to avoid fast food. It was a great experience. The Midlander Skillet and French toast platter were both excellent. We left with a salsa sampler and chips, when the chef/owner heard, we hadn t tried them. Highly recommend it.

This is a pretty cool place. I will have to admit it is kinda hidden. The food was very yummy! I got the chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. The chef put a huge chicken breast between the buns. They were also very quick get our food out. The one thing I was kinda sad about was all drinks were bottles, including water. Overall, I would recommend this place!!

Wonderful food!! I Met my friend here for a brunch on a Tuesday and it was great! She got the French toast, I got the classic breakfast. They were very attentive and had a home made salsa bar! Locating it is a little tricky. You can either go through the ally between West Texas Bank and Citi Bank and they have a little entrance or you can go through the city bank lobby and head straight back through the glass doors towards the bathrooms. I had a hard time finding it, but the owner met me in the lobby to show me how to get to it! I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to eat local!

The tacos are beyond any doubt the best in the Midland/Odessa and Permian basin area. And I would argue even better than any taco places in Juarez Mexico, or El Paso Tx. Fresh made tortillas, fantastic meats and seasoning. It has become my go to place for tacos. Breakfast is fantastic too, Id just suggest maybe having sugar free drinks as an option.

Delicious food and attentive to detail. The chef is the owner, so his mark of quality is on everything. This is hard to find, but worth it. Park in the alley between two bank buildings. You won t be disappointed! Coffee good, place clean, house made salsas!

This is a great Hole in the wall Restaurant, with amazing service. We had a small wait but it was very worth it with the amazing food the chefs prepared. It is hard to find at first but myself an my girlfriend are glad we found it. Highly recommend, the owner is great an very respectful. 10/10 would say eat here

If you dont have patience, this is not the place for you. Chef and crew were working so hard to get every order out. The wait was worth it. Breakfast platter with a waffle. So good!! Space is limited.

Great little hole in the wall cafe, been here lunch 4 - 5 times over past year when traveling. The owner really cares and always engaged, good staff, small clean place. Burgers are good, so are tacos, their fries are irresistible. Try it out.

Well, I have been hearing about this place for a little while and finally got to try it out. I love a good Cuban sandwich and had heard that they had one. Turns out that they had a Mexican version of a Cuban. It wasnt bad, but it wasnt the same. They used thin sliced ham and what appeared to be a thin pork chop. They said it came with mustard and a Chipotle mayo, I dont know, I couldnt taste it. The thing about a Cuban is the juicy pulled pork and the toasted bread in the press. You get that crunch with the sweet and juicy meat and the tang of the mustard and pickles. Not quite what I got here.

Food was great. Wonderful service and a friendly staff that went out of their way to accommodate my preferences! I will eat here again!

Well when its early, you find everything, but. Already after 12:15 the food is scarce, and they order more and you have a 15 minute wait, due to the service, the person who served me was not good, I asked for more coffee and it didnt arrive, I stood up to go I got my coffee, and he saw me and said Ill bring it to you, it must be because Im Mexican

Best place in town!! My colleagues and I had such a great experience in every aspect of dining. Manny (head chef/owner) is a welcoming, kind, respectful man who can really throw it down. We will be back time and time again to enjoy his fresh, never frozen, ingredients with warm conversation. He embodies everything that dining should be and whats truly missing in todays world. Big time hidden gem. Lived in Midland most of my life and never noticed it. Food is really good at good prices. Will definitely come again.

we came with a party of 6 so it was a little cramped (not their fault just a warning) but the food was 10/10 food felt AND tasted like a real 5 star restaurant, would go back again, even tho they got a variety menu, its safe to get what ever ( we had the french toast, the burger, and enchiladas)

This place is amazing!! Don t let the office building location fool you!! The Mexican hood is truly authentic and tasty better than most places you will try and think would be good. It s CLEAN!! Way cleaner than the other nasty places you would try. Go get some breakfast !!

Went here for the first time yesterday just to try something new, and wow was everything awesome! The food was fresh, the salsas SO GOOD, the environment very clean, and the customer service was definitely 5 star. Extremely attentive and constantly making sure everything is ok. Even went as far as offering my unwilling to sit still 2 year old an orange juice. They didnt know orange juice was her favorite and it totally made her stay still for a few more minutes while we finished our meals. Thank you!! We will definitely be back and you should check it out!

This is a bit of a hidden gem. The entrance is in between two office buildings. The restaurant is small but the flavors are big. All homemade salsas and the chef brings the food to your table. I had the juevos rancheros, they were soo good. You will not be disappointed. I will be back when I m in midland again.

If I could give more stars I would! How am I just now learning of this hidden gem?! The flavor explosion I just experienced was something I ve longed for since moving to West Texas 4 years ago! My husband was saying omg after each bite and I couldn t judge him because I was doing a happy dance in my own chair. Do yourself a favor and come try this chef s amazing recipes. The staff was attentive and was helpful when I wanted suggestions on what to try. I can t wait to try more of the menu! I had the midlander breakfast skillet, my mother the huevos rancheros and my husband the bistro tacos & we shared the Midlander taco. Do your taste buds a favor and run here!

Went for lunch. A little hard to find the way in but that s a good thing in my opinion., keeps it as a hidden gem. Had the Philly and have to say was one of the best I ve had. Great service, clean and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

Moved from Houston about 6 months ago. Been trying to find a place that has a descent breakfast, my long search is over! It s a little tucked away but this is a heck of a place to eat. Manny who is a gourmet chief, does everything to perfection. I mean, it s over the top, and the food is absolutely delicious. Service is great, manny and his son Sergio are stellar host. After some conversation I also got his Taco Al Pastor, awesome! Will be doing more business with them.

Definitely hard to find lol. I circled the block twice trying to find it then i pulled over and called them. A guy waited outside for me when i came back around to find the entrance. A delicious Hidden gem. Good food, Great service. My server was awesome and very attentive. Good clean atmosphere. Bathroom is clean too. Ill definitely be going back. Take all my money

One of the best restaurants Ive been to in a long time. Sergio our waiter was very professional and knew the menu items like the back of his hand. Very tasty food and overall one of the best experiences Ive had at a restaurant. Very highly recommended. The Midlander beef was very soft and flavorful must try it on my return. The chef will come out and greet you to which I also thought was very professional. If your in Midland for breakfast or lunch you have to try this place you will not leave disappointed. Its a lite trick to find si go park in the free parking walk unto the building and go straight ahead to your last left . You will see tables and chairs out thats where it is. They close at 2 pm but if you call them they will wait for you !

Visited this gem in downtown Midland today. It s down an alley so hope they will be able to put up more signage for better visibility in finding it. Had the Midlander Skillet - shredded beef topped with two medium fried eggs, country fried potatoes, and fruit. And a great selection of house-made salsas to choose from. Breakfast served all day. We ll be back to try their lunch menu!

I went here on 7/25/22. Everything was absolutely wonderful. It was tricky finding the entrance one of the workers came out to help us! My son and had tacos, the Midlander and the blackened shrimp. They were fantastic and very fresh. These were the best corn tortillas I ve had in a very long time and the meat was tender and well spiced as were the shrimp. The salsas were also very flavorful and added a good amount of spice. The chef came out to ask us how are meal was and explained everything is made to order fresh. Everyone there was extremely friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend this restaurant and hope to make it back!

My favorite place to eat lunch during the workweek. Staff is amazing and the food is always good and portions are perfect. Best place to go grab a bite and they have a wide variety on the menu. Always greeted with a polite smile and friendly demeanor. Would love to see them open in the evening as I would be there every day to get a meal on the way home.

You can t go wrong with anything on the menu here. The tacos were spot on! the chipotle chicken Alfredo was slam af too. This is my new jam! And all the staff is so kind and attentive. I haven t had food this amazing & that good of customer service in a long long time! Thank y all!!!!

Service is exceptional (and not just for this area) and the food is obviously fresh made with lots of care. A hidden gem! Wonderfully priced too. Our favorites -The fries. Omg the fries. -The house made ranch and crème fraiche. -All of the salsas -Taco salad -Who am I kidding everything is to die for here.

I have worked downtown for years and never knew this gem existed. Their food is delicious and they have a wide variety of food. Highly recommended!

Their burgers are always great and I love the seasoning on the fries. I tried the grilled chicken sandwhich today and it was fantastic! I have never had one with green chilis on, but they add so much flavor! And the staff is always super friendly!

What a hidden gem in downtown Midland! Nestled between the high rises, its a cool spot for a quick lunch. They have a great mix of options, such as salad, tacos, enchiladas, burgers, etc. Definitely recommend for those working downtown or passing through mid-day.
