Good: food is reasonably good. Bad: As mentioned in numerous other reviews, TURN THE MUSIC WAAAAAY DOWN OR OFF! Off would be preferable. Also, make sure the staff (cashier, bartenders, line cooks on microphone) who speak to customers can speak reasonably intelligible English and at volumes that can be clearly heard!

Food is consistently good, and order is always right. We Door Dash from restaurants frequently and more times than not, they miss something, but Rusty Taco always nails it.

Texas food scene, i say its mid-tier. Environment is nice, clean and great vibed. Playlist takes away the southern vibe they are trying to accomplish. Corn in a cup didnt have authentic taste, tastes like canned corn with crema with adobe seasoning and garnishment. Cilantro lime rice lacked flavor. I will be returning for a second attempt.

Table was dirty. Had to clean it myself. Atmosphere loud. Had a hard time hearing my name called. No forks. When asked where the forks were I was told to wait. When we finally received our food it was cold. The pork could have been chicken or something else because it had no flavor and also dry. It was hard to tell the so-called pork from the pineapple. Roll of paper towels for napkins on the tables that everyone elses greasy hands had touched. You could see the last customers prints on the roll we had ro take from another table because our roll was empty. Way too many onions. Tea was bad. I will not return or recommend.

The only table available was filthy with all of the previous people s order. So, I cleaned it off. I have been there before and loved the pork tacos and brought a friend. I m sorry for that. Besides dirty, my friend s tacos were very dry and mine you could pour liquid out of, filling the bottom of each individual holder. The watered down version really had little flavor. And the meat was cold on all the tacos. I am no longer feeling confident about recommending Rusty Taco .

Music way to loud that you cant even order food without yelling, tacos are soft tacos which i call burritos. Rosas, Macarrenas Restaurant has way better food. It is very hot inside, approximately 80° to 85° and lots of flies.will not return due to the very loud music and the heat.

I placed an order online for pick up and it was so easy to go in and have it ready! I have also dined here and had no complaints. My fave is the dynamite shrimp taco on corn!

How can a taco shop not have carne asada tacos or alpastor tacos. This place has neither!!! The other tacos they do have are mediocre. Don t recommend going there. The other positive comments are from people that have clearly never had authentic mexico street tacos. Oh, and they take for ever to bring your food out.

The server that took my.order was great. We got everything to go. Reason for low review is I almost didnt get my chips and queso i pad for. Anyways there are more reasons, I really want to like this place. Me and my girlfriend ordered chips and queso, 2 of the rusty taco the limited time special carnitas and the Philly taco. We drove straight home 3 minutes away after getting our food so it should still be hot right? Wrong, the first 3 tacos were cold as could be. Only one taco( the Philly) was warm but tasted nothing like a Philly. Its a fajita taco and thats it. This place as potential as there menu is good and the food actually had good taste but being cold the flavors just werent bold and the tortillas were soggy. I also asked for green and red salsa and only got red. Maybe they have their good and bad days but spending $30 on 4 small tacos, chips and queso, I dont know if I will be will to risk $30 again to find out if they are on one of their good days.

We just left this place, didn t even enjoy our food. My husband went up to the bar twice to get a drink and was totally ignored twice. People just showed up and asked for drinks behind my husband and they were served. Manager should check your cameras so you can see why there is bad service from the bar. You can see my husband twice wearing black shirt and khaki shorts. The girls just totally ignoring him but tending to people that just come behind him for drinks. He never got a drink. Those grown woman were holding conversations and on the side of the bar and all abandoning the bar at the same time. Do better!

We ve been a couple of times and tried a few different items. We ve tried the tacos, the queso and the bowls. All were good and decent value for what we ordered. Took a bit longer than a fast food place but food is far better than fast food. Kid-friendliness: Easy going atmosphere and the chicken strips were good for a child.

Great food! Excellent service! Restaurant was very clean. I have had them cater for me and called in pretty big orders for me. They always show up on time and have more than enough to get us through the event. And when I make large orders to pick up they are always hot and ready when I get there and they are priced to not brake the bank.

The place was dirty, ladies room shut down, water running on floor out from under the beverage station. Just makes you wonder what it looks like where you can t see.

The best owner bill, he is the sweetest guy and very caring for his employees and customers if something goes wrong he will jump in and make me feel welcome and fix the issues!! I ordered tacos today and my coke came with bugs frozen in the ice. How gross. The food was okay but please clean out the ice machine especially if its gonna have bugs. I have a picture but the review wont let me post one.

First time in this place. Was not super busy. Took 30 min to get out 3 tacos and a chicken bowl. The food was bland, but at least the habanero sauce was really good.

First time there. Music was really loud. 5.00 taco(seriously for 1 small taco) was not worth it. I can go to a taco truck and get better tacos. Steak nachos were expensive for not much toppings. Downside is that I didnt take pictures of our food to prove it. Not impressed at all. We will not be going back.

Hands down best service in town Brooke took care of me as always but also Becca Ashlynn and Megan best bartenders in town but thank you Brooke that watermelon jalapeño drink straight fire

Just had their brisket taco, (which was sadly, very dry and hard to chew), a corn cup that had excessive amounts of cilantro a cream, however at least the chips and queso were good.

We have been several times and had a good experience each time. This last visit in particular was during the day and there was a blonde lady with a wrist brace on who was exceptionally nice. She was so helpful and sweet and made a point to come over to the table and offer my children a dessert because she said they were so sweet. She also came by to see if we needed anything and if the food came out okay. I really appreciated her extra effort and was very pleased with my experience there.

Carne asada tacos were good. Baja shrimp tacos were great! Habanero salsa is a must!

I went to eat and my order took 40 minutes and it was cold, what a waste of time. I dont recommend it to anyone.

Good tacos

I have mixed emotions about this place. I got a house margarita which was quite delicious. And the bartender, Cindy, was great. However there were just small things that were irritating to me. First the AC was on and we were all freezing. I mention it to one of the persons that were cooking and he said oh yeah we know. Then I went to use the restroom and the womans restroom was not operating properly. The toilet would not blush. It had a lot of toilet paper in it and somebody had done a number two. So I went out again and I talked to the same man I talked to the first time and told him theres something wrong with the womans toilet and he says yeah we know just use the mens room. Well if the womens room is not working then put a sign on the door. The food was good. We got several different tacos in an order of nachos. Im not sure I would come back to this place. The food was good enough to come back but all the other things going on make me not want to spend my hard-earned dollars here. Im thinking I might go back one more time just to give you a chance to do better. But for my money I would drive to torchys tacos which is in Odessa. About 15 mi away. They always have great tacos, great service, and Ive always been very comfortable there.

It was very busy but everyone worked hard and as a team to be sure your table was tended to and staff is fun and friendly.

Over an hour wait for 5 tacos and chips and queso. Thats just bonkers to me. The one time we decided to actually go out to eat and sit down with our 3 kids, we waited for over an hour, with nothing but our cup of water. Good tacos, but it was hard to enjoy waiting that long for some tacos. We havent been back since, and idk if we will come back to the one in Midland.

Tacos are average, the nachos are quite good, and the drinks are good.

The first photo is of the steak, potato, and egg bowl. Breakfast is served all day. The taco has corn tortilla, red onion, and cojita cheese. I also got spicy ground beef which came with potatoes. Vegetarian options: A lot of options available such as cauliflower taco. It sounded good Ill try it next visit. Sorry cant recall the ingredients

We were visiting family in town and they took us here. Great little taco place for a quick meal. They have several kinds of tacos to choose from. I had the Baja Fish taco and Baja Shrimp taco. Both were delicious. We also had the chips and guacamole - chips were fresh and guacamole tasty!

It was mediocre at best I ordered a egg/cheese/potato/black bean breakfast bowl. Eggs tasted evaporated, not fresh. Quite expensive too relatively - $12 not counting coffee. Better breakfast burritos: Don Thomas (#1) and JumBurrito

45 minutes to get queso that is the consistency of water. Almost 1 hour to get complete order food quality is not there and no employee seemed to have a clue what was going on or how to find a solution. Tacos did not have all the components from menu. Nachos had shredded cheese and not much. Ordered 3 kids tacos and got charged for 3 full orders. Not once did a manager step up and ask if everything was good or if we needed anything at all. Very poorly run business. So very disappointed really wanted some new food in Midland.

Hubby got beef nachos. They were just so so. I got the Baja shrimp Taco and the Picadillo Taco. They both tasted very good but both were very greasy. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita. It is pre-made and I literally could not drink it. It was way too strong. Most people dont complain about more alcohol but Id like to enjoy a drink that doesnt taste like straight alcohol. I would definitely return, though.

We really enjoy the tacos. The customer service is great. The live music tonight was painful to endure. Ray Nicole has a lovely voice but her mic volume was SO HIGH we struggled to have a conversation.

Are you going to get authentic TexMex (not Mexican) food? No. Is the TexMex food good? Yes. Is the Margaritas good? Yes. Is it well priced? Yes. The quality matches the price. You want hardcore TexMex and and top shelf margaritas that cost you $80 for a few drinks and food? Go somewhere else. You was some yummy food and 3 good margaritas for less than $40. Rusty Tacos is the place.

Like many chains that come to Midland, this place started off great. After the newness wore off and the facility got into a groove, the quality steadily declined. By the 4th or 5th time we went, it was pretty much unrecognizable from the first time we went. We were given coupons for free breakfast burritos but did not go back and will likely never go back. Its a shame given how good it was.

We love going to Rusty Taco! The Philly taco is phenomenal! The meat is tender and delicious! And the churros are amazing! Weve been there several times and have never had a bad meal. Oh, and I thought Id mention they have games on a cart in the back near the restrooms. These are tacos that youve got money to burn, with 4 tacos and 2 drinks came out to $30 The tacos arent seasoned including the meat, the shrimp is frozen not homemade. I also had a sausage and egg taco and there was the smallest slices of sausage Ive seen and a mountain of cheese to make up for the lack of meat. The sauce on the counter was completely watery and looked like all the chunky bits were getting stuck on the inside. We sat their for 15 minutes for 4 tacos, that werent half decent and were basically home make tacos, the ones that can very easily be made at home for a lot less money 10/10 wont be going back, even for a follow up

Ordered ground beef nachos and the meat was bad, it smelled and tasted sour. Asked who ran this place and for them to come talk to me. No one came out, so we left. Actually the worst dining experience I ve ever had. Definitely not worth the 47 bucks we just paid. Straight up awful!!

Walked in and my family was greeted immediately, staff was friendly and inviting.The tacos im not going to lie, we re not good. Texican taco was bland and tortillas was refrigerator cold. The Birria tacos had some seasonings but it was still missing something. Overall I honestly like the place but I don t think I will be bringing my family back here. Quick and easy to-go order, I was in and out super quick and the staff was friendly. My order was exactly how I wanted and the tacos were great! One of the best breakfast tacos in town!

I ordered a large breakfast taco spread for my office and Bill not only went above and beyond in helping me place the order but delivered it (early!!) directly to our building and helped with setup. Everyone raved about the tacos and the salsa. We can t wait to order from Rusty Taco for our next corporate event soon!
