Great pizza! Loved it.

Pizza was great, but maybe don t mess with the cheese cake it was next level terrible my wife and I got one slice to split and we didn t come close to finishing it because as I said b4 it was terrible

Edit: Its still so good! We moved to Milliken from the metro area and this pizza is better than anything Ive had in or around Denver. Crispy chewy crust, delicious toppings (we usually go for the Jalepeno popper pizza, topped with fresh jalepeno slices, cream cheese and bacon---OMG ). The restaurant itself has a nice vibe; small, cozy and trendy. Its still quiet enough to talk to each other, even with multiple larger groups of people sitting and eating at the same time. We mainly order for pick up. Theyre very fast! Pizza orders are ready in 15 minutes and so hot and fresh. Delivery is offered and has always been timely and polite. While not the cheapest pizza around (theres a Little Ceasars in the area) its not even close between the two. Pelican Jos is just so much better in terms of quality that price isnt an issue. We love this place and will continue to order from it weekly/biweekly.

Ordered to go and showed up 15 min later just to sit and wate for another 30 min for a small pizza. Place was not busy at all. Pizza is hit or miss.

Never disappoints!

My husband and I thought this would be a half decent pizza place when we moved to town, and its become a ruiner of any other pizza and calzone. My husband loves them because theyre one of the few places that has artichokes as a topping and I love the fact they serve epic pesto or alfredo sauce. They are one of the only pizza places I go to now, besides The Sink in Boulder. Nowhere else is worth the time! One 14 pizza with olives, artichokes, and cheddar cheese on alfredo sauce and a second 14 with meatballs, onions, olives, peppers, cream cheese, garlic, and extra cheese on pesto cost about $50 with tip.

Neighbor had a pizza delivered and the young kid in a white VW was speeding through our neighborhood and when confronted by a neighbor from across the street about his excessive speed he laughed at her and sped off . That alone will make me order from somewhere else.

The first time we ordered from Pelican Joes, it was awesome! That was a couple of years ago, now it is hit or miss. I love their calzones, but the last time I ordered one, it was overcooked! We ordered on Friday night, because I could get a pesto sauce pizza for my granddaughter, she liked that. The extra cheese pizza I order was far from good. It looked like it had hardly any cheese on it at all. Was very disappointed!! I dont know that I will take another chance and order from them again!

We love ordering from our favorite local pizza spot! The salads are always a generous size and the pizza crust is always flaky, flavorful and cooked to perfection. They offer a large selection of specialty pizzas and calzones and many ways to customize your order to your liking. Were very lucky to have Pelican Joes in Milliken as a local dining and take out option as an alternative to the fast food and chain restaurants that seem to be taking over our once small farm community. Support local!

I really like this place because I have a yeast allergy (which soulds strange) :). But they are the only place I have ever been about to order cauliflower crust and the crust does not have yeast in it. This is the only place Ive ever been able to eat pizza.

DIRTY!! This place needs a serious deep clean. The walls, booths and tables and floors are disgusting. Especially next to the soda machine. If the dining area is this dirty, I don t even want to know what the food prep area is like. This place has great food, but cleanliness is a major issue.

3 stars, C- rating Its an okay local pizza place. The salads are ok. The wings are good. Pizza is okay, not great. Also, whoever cuts the pizzas needs some help. The slices are never even. The in house made brownies are a nice treat that I will never order again. Found a 2-inch long blonde hair in my last one. Gross!! For a small town pizza place, its just okay, in a bigger city, it couldnt compete.

Update: Today I was contacted by the store manager. I appreciate that she took my complaint seriously and said she was going to have a meeting with everyone to ensure this type of behavior will no longer be tolerated. With that said, I will give them another chance because I do like having them so close to ho, the food is always good, and I prefer to support local business than a corporation. I would give 0 stars if I could. The immature workers here believe it is funny to write inappropriate things on the sandwich wrappers when specifically asked to write only a letter to identify whos sandwich is whose. When I called and spoke with a manager she asked if it was for my son, who used to work there. When I told her no it was not, the only response I got was Ill just tell them not to do it. Well, I am done with this place and they will not see another dime from me when they cant even take responsibility for their unprofessional conduct and I would advise others to do the same.

Perfect casual but delicious pizza joint! A gem in Miliken. And they have great lunch specials.

Wish I would have taken a picture of our pizzas - not only did they look heavenly but they also tasted amazing. This was our first time trying the pizza at Pelican Jos and it wont be our last!

I uave been here twice . the grandkids and i share garlic knots and pepperoni pizza. i like the thin crust and the garlic knots are sooo good.

The lunch special is a great deal. 2 slices and a soda fir under $8.

We always love Pelican Jo s! The best crust, and the mango habanero wings are always my fav! Delivery is always quick too. Dietary restrictions: Their cauliflower crust is sooooo good!

Awesome pepperoni rolls!!

I ordered 2 kids meals that were 15min later than they said they would be ready when ordered online. Stuff happens but I get home and find my 4 year olds chicken fingers completely raw. Good thing I cut them open before giving them to him.

Just moved to town and this is some of the best pizza we have had in a long time! The garlic knots were yummy too! Cant believe this place wasnt slammed on a Friday.

I went here for the first time yesterday. We got the pepperoni rolls, garlic knots and two drinks. It was only like 20 bucks! We were both quite full and had leftovers. Did I mention that the food was delicious! Ill be back!

We eat here at least 2-5 times a month, typically we have decent food from here. Today I spent $4 just to literally throw it in the trash. I am super disappointed this would be sent out, as Im sure no one else would want to eat rotten lettuce.

I felt it was time to post another review as I have been eating here since Pelican Joes opened and have probably ordered over 50 times at least. In all of the times I ordered the only thing that ever happened ONCE, was my garlic knots were a little chewy and they remedied that immediately. The pizza and sides I have ordered have been consistently fantastic and the delivery is always on time. The staff are always friendly on the phone, at the store when I do go in and when they deliver. I take care of the delivery drivers and they take care of me. If you havent noticed, its not easy to find great staff anymore and yet you can see that they make it one of their priorities. Kudos Pelican Joes!

Not sure if this place is still in business. Called 3 times at 11:45 am on Monday and no answer. Google said they were open, very confusing. Used to be good pizza.

We had the margarita pizza tonight and, frankly, the one I had at Paneras last was better. Tonights pizza was hardly warm, the mozzarella was thick, not melted and very sparse, there were very few basil leaves. Guess Ill go back to Panera.

Food was great and employees were super nice. Great to see a locally owned place. The happy hour specials were amazingly well priced.

I was in Milliken for business and decided to try this pizza place. They have excellent pizza by the slice lunch specials. I tried the pepperoni pizza rolls with a fountain drink lunch special. Great value!! They were filled with plenty of pepperoni and mozzarella cheese with a light dough shell. VERY GOOD Sorry no picture of the pizza rolls, I was starving and forgot to snap a pic.

Decent tasting pizza especially if youre around town and craving a slice or 2. Great customer service though.

My favorite pizza place very prompt

It was so disappointing. The pizza was so undercooked. You could taste the rawness of the dough. This is the third time in the last 3 months Pelican Jo s in Milliken has done a terrible job. Previous times the garlic knots were so salty they couldn t be eaten. We ordered a pepperoni pizza for the boys that looked like somebody put the pepperoni on with their feet. The pizza had pepperoni on about 2/3 of the pizza. It wasn t even cut either. It is quite pricey and I expect better. . . The way it was a year ago. I hope they figure it out. At this time I would much rather have Little Caesar s. They are delicious, affordable, and higher quality.

I love this place its my new go to pizza delivery, and they have not only a gluten free pizza but gluten free cheese cake. The people that work here are amazing and super nice. Dietary restrictions: They have a wonderful gluten free pizza and a gluten free cheese cake both are delicious.

Great food and very clean

We love pelican Jo s, however we decided to try a new pizza and ordered the Christmas special which was supposed to be a bruschetta type pizza, we received something completely different being pepperoni with red and green peppers we were very disappointed

First time we have ordered from here. Food is awesome and came earlier than expected. Meatball sandwich and Italian beef melt. Both delicious and seasoned perfectly. Cheese sticks are mostly cheese instead of mostly fried coating. Very tasty!! Great job! Will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend!!!!!

I had them when they first opened in Milliken. Wasnt very impressed. But tried again about a year later and liked what I had. Theyve changed things around. It was pretty good..... Ill do it again.

First time ordering from here. Very fair pricing. Tasty pizzas w bacon perfectly cooked! Poppers were a surprise as they were wrapped n wat tasted and appeared like true homemade dough. Service was quick and friendly. Def will b ordering from here next pizza Friday.

Chicken parm sandwich was great but I will not be back during the pandemic. Staff do not wear masks. I can somewhat understand not requiring your customers to wear them but there is no excuse to not have the staff wearing them.

We live 5 min away and came to get a pizza and it wasnt hot, or warm. Pretty disappointed about that. The pizza itself was ok, nothing to write home about. Will most likely get again because they are local but was pretty disappointed with our first go.

Pretty low key, yet nice eatery. While the pies are a little on the pricey side, they are quite tasty. Service was great, and the place had a good layout to it. Located right off the main drag in town it is easy to get to. Stop by, youll like it.

Tired to order some pizza tonight (Friday) before 9 because on google it says they re open till 10 buuut they didn t answer. So we called back just after 9 and they answered this time, she said they re closed even though it says 10pm online and she goes on to blame google for randomly changing the close time lol. So to me it seems they purposefully Ignored our phone call before close (9pm) and then chose to answer (after 9pm) saying sorry but WE RE CLOSED. How convenient. Not smart for a small business in a small town. Ordering dominos now! Thank!

First time ordering and they did a great job right down to following a special request on delivery. We had a chicken bacon ranch and the cheesy bread, both were cooked perfectly and tasted great. A nice thin crust that wasnt soggy and the bread had some garlic but not overpowering. Did the online ordering and selected a delivery time, showed up early! Bravo!!! Well order again.

The food is pretty good, but overpriced for what you get. The pizza was browned on top. I like it that way, but my wife doesnt. They were stingy with the ingredients on my Italian beef melt and they forgot to bring the mango habanero sauce that I ordered. We probably wont order from them again.

This place was awesome from the start but not so awesome now! Our pizza must have been Hot N Ready awaiting our phone call because it was old and stail! The cheese bread was terrible too! Both the pizza and the cheese bread were so thin I thought about measuring them with a micrometer!

Pizza is good when its hot and fresh.. Garlic knots were burnt on the outside, completely raw dough on the inside.. and forgot sauces, marinara and ranch. Paid for extra ranch, also didnt receive those. Way overpriced for what you get..

The food is amazing! We ordered the Garlic Knots, Pizza Rolls, and a Pepperoni Pizza. All of it tasted absolutely amazing and well worth the price for the clear amount of hard work thats been put into everything they sell! If you need a delicious dinner, go here.

I ordered 2 pizzas and wings at the milliken store at 7:03pm my order was suppose to be delivered by 7:48 8:00pm I get a call the driver is lost she will be there in 5 minutes 8:10 I get another call saying the driver really got lost give her 5 minutes so 8:25 rolls around still no pizza so I call the store I talked to the manager Brian said he would call me back to see where his driver was he calls back says he didnt know where his driver was I told him I better not have cold food 8:35 rolls around my pizza finally shows up my pizza was cold and folded in half I couldnt eat the wings they were hard I will never be back.

Ordered 2 pizzas 1 was Hawaiian which only had pineapple. My husband said there was small chunks of Canadian bacon but couldnt taste it. Large Hawaiian and large meaty 50.00 big ones. First and last time.

Ordered large pizza and got a small, ordered pizza rolls that came in a bag th they put the marinara in and the cups melted and got sauce everywhere. Called and complained, they said they would refund entire order, never did. They also remade order. It took over 2 hrs to feed the family. This place is trash and do not follow up with their word. 1 star is too much.

Great service killer pizza

Placed an order for delivery, very impressed with the options for the pizzas, reasonable prices, no delivery fee. It showed up in under 30 minutes on a Friday night and the pizza was very good! Im glad this place found a home in Milliken!

Ill start off with I was super excited that there was a pelican Joes coming closer to my home. With that I ordered a couple pizzas for pickup. I was told the pizzas would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. I finally show up 20 minutes later just to wait in line for 10 minutes to take two orders and then after I let them know I am there to pick up my pizzas they walk around for 5 minutes and then let me know that they were never made so 15 minutes later I finally get my pizzas. I love the pizza but I will never show up to this location again.

This was our first visit, we got a large kitchen sink pizza to-go. It was awesome, we loved it! Cant wait to try some of their other pizzas!

Good pizza and nice people

Both pizzas we ordered tasted great. Hot and fresh when they arrived. When I placed the ordered was told 30-45 and 20 mins after ordering had a knock on my door and the pizza was here. 10/10 will be ordering again!

Great pizza rolls for a good price!

The Calpine is the best around, so are the pizza rolls. We were a little disappointed in the pizza crust, but the pizza tasted good. Well be back again. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food comes out quickly. The booths are easy to fit in and comfy. Outdoor patio is also avail. Great place to get a quick bite!

Extremely slow. We were the only table in there and everything took FOREVER. Appetizers came out after our lunch was brought out. Everything did taste fabulous and the order was correct

When this place is great its GREAT!!! BUT, the inconsistency with portions and ingredients is overwhelming. Sometimes you get very very good food that makes you want to order again and sometimes you get food that is absolutely disgusting with hardly any ingredients.. for instance in our order we consistently always have a calzone with pepperoni, jalapeno, and pineapple, more often than not, we will get a calzone that is overloaded with pineapple a few jalapenos and no pepperoni! Even though we are paying for the extra. When you bring it up nothing is ever addressed accordingly. You bring it up to some of the staff and they say weve never had those items in our menu.. or due to covid we cant give you that item(drink or pepperoni) but they charge the same... We really want to support this business, as we understand SOME inconsistency with new hires and the uncertainty with a pandemic...but, when we are spending our money at your business we expect consistency and understanding when things are completely incorrect. If its wrong, its wrong. Please address your inconsistencies from a management standpoint.

When they 1st opened. Everything was good hot fresh. We order here about one time a month and have been noticing a decline. Tonight was no different when I ordered a salad, got it home excited to eat as I put my dressing on my salad and bam... I am chewing on hair. Yep hair. Gross. Save your money..

This location opened Monday 11/4/19. Its been crazy busy every night but is the best pizza Ive had in years! Noticed a lot of selfish impatient people but the food is worth the wait! Thank you Pelican Jos for opening a location in Milliken!

Not impressed. First time we tried to go we were told 1 - 1.5 hour wait for pizza. Now I m trying to call and place an order and no one is answering the phone. I just get a message that no one can answer the phone and to leave a message. My husband was so excited only to be terribly disappointed. Edit: finally got a live person and placed an order. I will update after I pick it up and taste the pizza.

Not off to a great start. Ordered a pizza for pickup, apparently there was some confusion and the pizza(s) weren t made. We asked for green olives when we placed the order, got home and there were black olives on the pizza. Not a huge deal but I think they should have mentioned that when we placed the order.

Ordered 2 pizzas on the way home. Place was super busy and was quoted about 40 mins for my 2 pizzas. They were ready sooner than that and the pizzas are fantastic. We have a gluten sensitivity in our home and they even offer 2 different gluten free crusts that are really good. We dig it!!

We are happy to have this new pizza place in our little town. We have ordered on two separate occasions and have been satisfied both times. Boyfriend is gluten free and we are happy with the options Pelican Jo s provides. I m not even gluten free but can confirm that the gluten free crust is tasty! Swung by after work this evening to check in on our order and the pizza was ready before the quoted time. In and out in 2 minutes. I would definitely recommend.

I was familiar with the Windsor location because it is near my work. So I was quite excited to see Pelican Jos expanding to Milliken! They did not disappoint! I ordered online and picked up in store. The process was seamless and timely even with a full house and people flowing in. Oh, and the pizza is flavorful! I tried the jalapeno popper pizza for the first time and it was the best combination of burning spice and cooling cream cheese.

The food is prepared well. This is not a fast food pizza joint, like Dominos for example. The staff and atmosphere is very relaxed. It took about 15 minutes to receive my pizza, 3:30pm Dine in order, which again is perfectly acceptable. I rather have someone take time and effort to make my pizza versus slapping it all together and rushing it out in five minutes. Suggestions: Need alcoholic beverages, shades on the windows and the condiments stand needs a bottle of Sriracha.

My husband and I tried them last night for the first time. Very impressed with freshness of produce. The pizza crust was delicious, not soaked in grease. Delivery to our home was prompt and on time. We will try them again.

Absolutely love this place! The boneless chicken and pizza is amazing! I had a mess up on our last order and when we ordered this time, even though I ordered a larger pizza, they didnt charge me for the pizza at all! Great customer service

I thought I would share our experience with Pelican Jos. We decided to place a delivery order the other night. We ordered a childs pizza, buffalo boneless chicken wings, a calzone and an Italian sandwich. Online ordering was easy to navigate. It said it would take 45 min to receive our order but we got it in 30 min. Everything was SO good!! You can tell how fresh and handmade everything tasted. The kids pizza was bigger than expected but we werent complaining! The amount we spent was almost equal to the amount we spend at the chain pizza establishment. Definitely check them out!

Love that we have a pizza place close to home. It is very good. We like that its not greasy like some can be. We will definitely be back.
