This is a hidden gem restaurant. Its some of the best Italian food Ive eaten. Ordered the cheese tortellini and penne pasta. Tray size that could feed 10 people for like $60. It is fantastic, and the family run business also has great friendly customer service. A must go if youre in the Milton area.

Delicious Italian food! Huge fresh Italian bread rolls. Chicken Parmesan almost the size of your head topped with big chunks of mushroom, peppers and onions, if that is what you want. Tons of melty cheese. An extra dousing of homemade marinara sauce, and you re all set.

The BEST veal on a bun anywhere!! They also have a great selection of other hot table items and desserts. Its a lovely family owned and operated business which has been around Milton for many many years (I dont know how long). Heads up: Bring cash! No debit, but there IS an ATM there which charges a somewhat modest fee. It didnt bother me too much as I REALLY wanted that sandwich!!

Absolutely love this place from the amazing family to the delicious food! Authentic italian that does not disappoint every time. We catered for a holiday party? Ordered spinach and ricotta lasagna and chicken parmigiana. Both items were a super hit from the quality of ingredients to how delicious every bite tasted. Highly recommend this place a true milton staple!

the cannoli was great

I ve actually been here before and didn t review it. I had gotten the chicken sandwich with onions and mushrooms. It was really good. I usually go to California sandwiches for a similar sandwich but now that I m living in Milton, this is my go to sandwich shop now. The gentleman working that day was very nice, very friendly. I just want to point out that I took these pictures after everyone had already started digging in. It was 5 large chicken cutlets. Anyways, so today someone in our household had the idea of chicken cutlets for dinner. Usually it s something we get from Longo s which is down the street. Today I decided let s try something different. I got there after the lunch rush as I had to head to a meeting in Oakville. I wanted to grab their gnocchi alla vodka but they had run out from the lunch rush. No problem, the lady helping me suggests that I get the cheese tortellini in a rose sauce to go with the chicken cutlets. Everyone at the home front was pleased with the food. Glad I got it right on time for dinner at 6pm. The cheese tortellini was superb. Tasted like how Nonna used to make. Chicken cutlet was perfectly cooked too and they were very large pieces. The food was very hot, I could hardly hold the trays when I picked it up. When I ordered, I wasn t expecting so much pasta. Luckily a few friends came over and they had some food too and enjoyed it. Anyways, while I was in the store making the dinner order which I would pick up later at 6pm, I decided to try the sausage sandwich - I asked to add a little bit of the tomato sauce from the chicken. Obviously with mushrooms and onions. It was good but I wouldn t say it s the best I ve had. I really like spicy sausage and this sausage was more fennel taste, quite mild. I actually really wanted to try their meatballs but I guess they had run out of that because of the lunch rush. The lady helping me was extremely helpful and very patient with me because I asked many questions. The best part was that the food was ready on time when I came to pick it up and I only waited about 5-10 mins. Please check their Facebook page - the menu for the day is posted there. Also keep in mind, this plaza gets busy and their quantities run out. All in all I would give it like a 4.2/5 - understanding that they get busy and run out of quantity. Price was reasonable. Customer service was on point. Seating area is small but good for 12 or so people. One bad thing is that the parking lot is tiny, especially if you re driving a pick up like me.

Went there on Canada day and they were open with lots of options. Some pastries but the hot plate was the show stopper. We got veggie lasagna and ravioli, both topped with extra sauce and cheese. Lots of flavour and definitely made fresh in house.

Excellent lasagne and pizza. More importantly I felt like part of the family when I walked in. They are lovely people. You feel it right away .

I was in the area this morning and I decided to try this local mom & pop eatery which serves up Italian pasta, sandwiches, pizza slices( Roman Style) and various desserts such as donuts and pastries ( cannolis ). I tried the beef ravioli with meat sauce, and Qty#2 of Pepperoni and Hawaiian slices. My total came out to $23.00 after taxes. Although I prefer Neapolitan style pizza. I can never say no when pizza is presented as an option. What can I say? Supermans weakness is Kryptonite and my weakness is obviously PIZZA !!! The ravioli was undercooked. Which is better than overcooked because I can cook it a bit further when I reheat it. The sauce was good, not too acidic. They added that pinch of sugar :-) So it was okay. The pizza is not bad. It is good in its own way. The crust was nicely done, not hard at all but slightly chewy. However Pizza is very subjective. Only because there are several components to a great pizza. There is the dough, the sauce, the toppings and how they all get along. So for me, it was just okay. However, it was definitely way better than cardboard pizza from Dominos or Pizza Pizza etc. The place is popular because there were many regulars milling about. Give it a try and let us all know what you think.

This little hidden gem is perfect. Besides the bakery they also have several hot meal combinations to go. I had a veal sandwich and it was very delicious. Their apple fritter tastes like old school Tim Hortons, before Tims messed with the recipe. Friendly staff also.

Went here tonight it was my first time! Had great conversations with one of the staff and the food looked so delicious. When it was time to pay I didnt know they didnt accept credit (was all I had me) I told them i would go home and get my debit card take money out and come back! They wouldnt hear of it! They told me thats too much back and forth, when Im in the area next to just come in and pay!!! What a beautiful and generous offer! They are truly one of a kind! I will definitely be back on the future and so grateful there are still wonder people like them in the community!!

The loveliest people making great food! Kind and helpful and always smiling. My only issue is that they are still cash only (I never keep any on me and end up not buying as much as I would otherwise. Im sure there are many people who feel the same).

Nice little Italian eatery in Milton! I have been a few times and the staff working are always so lovely and kind. My only little complaint is that the food is never hot, even at peak dinner time. Chicken parm is really good, but always cold. Same with penne. Pasta is a little more undercooked than al dente. The sauce is fabulous though. Sooo good! Prices are excellent as well, so I always leave a nice tip. Small things that can be overlooked. Food is tasty want to try their desserts next. Cash only as well, but there is an ATM machine right inside if needed.

We love this place! The family is so friendly and they are always so happy when we call or go in. The pizza is HUGE and delicious - we get it for parties, playdates and dinner for the family. My husband loves their hot selection of food - meats, veggies, fish etc.

By far the best pizza, and I have eaten pizza almost all around the USA, Canada and some other places claiming seniority over pizza. Family that owns it are sweethearts. Ever since I discovered this place, I dont eat pizza and lasagne anywhere else. Highly recommend this place!

I dont know if they can take the picture down that I just put up but this is my first time ever giving a review on Google because I just bought the worst sandwich Ive ever eaten .I eat out everyday for lunch and I havent been in this area for a long time and this place used to be good. I got a steak sandwich with mushrooms to go. I got one paper thin piece of tasteless dry steak and canned mushrooms and its horrible the sandwich in the package is lighter than a pack of cigarettes very disappointed. Oh also it was $10 and it would be a scam for $3

Great little ma and pa shop if you want to stop in for a lunch, but I would highly recommend not making the mistake of asking them to cater an event. Anyone whos lived in Milton long enough knows the reputation, food quality and service they put out. Typically, they are very warm, welcoming and friendly people. This is why I was excited to have them cater my wedding- This is also why I was shocked and appalled at what they brought to my wedding. The food was all cold- 5/5 trays. They were only 3 mins down the road from the event. I was worried about it being cold to begin with, and they had promised it was going to be warm because they were so close. They only provided 3 warming trays, and candles to heat only one tray. We were upset so didnt want to pay them in full - my dinner was postponed by 45 mins because of all of the food being that cold and us having to reheat all of it. The mother(I believe Teresa is her name) held herself in a somewhat professional manner to deal with the conflict- but the daughter I was disgusted with. They told me(on my wedding night infront of all my guests) with no receipt given on a cash only business they were going to call the police on me because I didnt pay on the agreed upon amount and hold my end of the deal, when I mentioned they did not do this either and I dont think I should have to pay the full amount the daughter started to yell at me(again infront of all my guests) and said word for word Im going to call the police on you and ruin your wedding night, what do you think about that completely disgusting behavior. We ended up paying them to get them out of the building because I could not believe the way the conducted themselves infront of 80 people with such a good reputation in the community. They caused a huge scene... I was so embarassed. Upon speaking to a few people I was also informed the daughter screamed at a large table of my guests before even speaking to me about the situation. Who acts like that as a business owner? That could have and should have been dealt with way differently. There is a certain way you need to handle yourself in situations like that, and they are extremely unprofessional and have no idea on how to deal with conflicts. People skills need to be vastly improved. Sad to say, but after being a customer for almost 10 years I will never give them my business again after that disgusting behavior.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I have been a customer to this shop for over 10 years. Delicious food. However, don t look at this place for your catering needs. My best friend had Main St Donuts cater her wedding and 5/5 trays showed up ICE COLD as if they had just come out of a the fridge. They were 3-5 minutes away from the venue... there is absolutely no excuse possible for this to have happen. When you order food from companies that are further away from you than 3 minutes the food still shows up hot. Not to mention the unacceptable behaviour from the owners daughter who caused a scene and threatened the newly weds to call the cops on them and said she would intentionally ruin their day when they had said they didn t seem it was fair to have to pay full price for subpar service. For a business who holds and maintains a reputation for their food, amazing service and friendliness, I am appalled and will never be setting foot in their storefront again.

I visit this italian eatery at least once a month. It has a great Lunch hot plate. If you are familiar with Italian Bakeries and their lunch time hot meals this establishment is similar. Although they are really just a donut shop they do focus on offering Italian Hot Plate options at lunch time like Veal or Chicken on a bun and every day the offer varying items like meat balls, steak, even chicken wings, they always offer pizza, its a great option for lunch. Its family run so expect to feel welcome. Great place in Milton.

Delicious food, amazing and fast service but its a cash only place, although there is a bank machine in this location, it will cost you a premium for withdrawal fees. Since I dont carry cash the above has detoured me from going often and = less business. A debit machine would be nice, I will even pay for the transaction which will be only a fraction of the cost of the bank machine even if you make a cut as most restaurants do with private/no name bank machines.
